This was my second time staying here. Nice location right on the main street. This hotel has a nice old style field to it. My room phone doesn't work at all, was told by the front desk that this happened to most of the room. They need a good electrician. My shower drain also slow, especially when I wash my hair and the soap scum stayed. It drains slowly so I shut off the water then turn it on again once it all drained. Overall it was a nice stayed except for my last night I got disturbed by another traveler next door. He complains that the TV in my room was too loud for him to sleep. I told him I have it on volume 8-10, which it is pretty low. He keeps knocking on the wall several times before he came out of his room to confront me. I advised him to get an ear plugs since all the hotel has a thin wall. As a traveler he should know better. I am a light sleeper so I do hear everything. The bed is comfortable. I leave one of the panel door to the bathroom open since it does smell moldy when it is all closed up. I have asthma so I am sensitive to the smell as well.

Best views for Loy Krathong parade
When we booked/reserved this hotel earlier in the year, we didn't realise it would be during the Loy Krathong festival. However, it was a blessing in disguise as the front of the hotel was where the parade passed through not just on our first night but our second night too. We got to experience the festival from the comfort of the main balcony/patio area for guests. On top of this, the hotel gifted us a Krathong to put in the river, which was a 10 minute walk away.
The hotel is in a very convenient location, quiet and relaxing. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. The downside would be the bathroom smells a bit damp. Otherwise, all good.

Location and staff were great. Had some issues with a seating location at the hotel restaurant but staff made up for it with complimentary drinks. Walls are thin so it’s extremely noisy with people above you or next to you. Had lots of issues with WiFi not working in our room, which they would eventually fix but it would stop working an hour later and the cycle would continue. Also, make sure to keep track of your mini bar beverages consumed and what they are actually putting in it. They charged us and other members in our group staying in other rooms for consuming drinks I’m POSITIVE we did not drink. We had purchased our own drinks at 7/11 and only had those, never touching the hotels drinks.

This was a return trip of friends to Chiang Mai and we picked it based on the pool and location. We were not disappointed. The location is a quick, easy walk to just about anything you would want to see. We went to the various night markets, Waroros market is around the corner, the Old City is also a quick jot away. There are great restaurants all around and if you're looking for great coffee, Doppio was a stop for us a couple of times a day (exit the hotel, take a right and you will see it on the other side of the street.) The hotel is directly across the street from beautiful Wat Bupparam, which makes for a great landmark if you need to tell a tuk tuk where to take you. Thanks staff was lovely and the room was clean. My only small complaint would be that lighting in the room is rather dim so I had to do my makeup in the courtyard. Very minor. I would stay here again when I return.

The hotel is located in very convenient area and just in front of famous 'Wat Buppharam'. It's easy to tell to taxi drivers. The hotel provides airport pickup service in extra charge, but I think it's far cheep to use airport taxi.
One strong point of this hotel is common space with furniture. I bought some local foods at water market and had a supper there. There are few local restaurant around the hotel (there are a lot for tourists) so I preferred to pick up foods from stand store around the water market. I asked the clerk to lend me fork and spoon and that was so helpful.

Really bad choice. . Room was next to a housekeeping room. At 430 am each morning you hear through paper thin walls the filling of buckets, banging and talking and then they start to work in the hallways which keep you awake the entire time. Shower was dirty, very little hot water and low pressure. Room floors were disgusting, dark and musty no fresh air and way overpriced for what you get in Chiang Mai. Pool too cold for anyone to swim in. . Misplaced one of two plastic cards used to enter door. .They demanded $20 for losing the 5 cent card.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It’s absolutely beautiful. Just as pictured, with beautiful decor and vaulted ceilings. The location is perfect! Located midway between the old city and the are that has the night bazaar/night markets. It’s only a few minutes in each direction. The hotel was clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that you will hear some noise from your neighbors due to the open design. I also don’t love the shower. You have to step down into a cement tub. But it isn’t a deal breaker for me. I would definitely stay here again!

Me and my partner decided to stay at this hotel based on a recommendation from his sister, who had visited previously for a drink and wished she had stayed here instead of the hotel she was in. The recommendation was well received as this was our first visit to Chiang Mai and of all of the places we visited on our trip, this turned out to be our favourite. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and well maintained, even with its authentic antique theme.
The location was excellent and only a 5-10minute drive from the train station, 20 minute drive to the airport and a 5 minute walk to the gate at old town. Oh, and it’s right opposite a fantastic temple!

We loved this hotel. They are doing some construction to it mind you, but it really was beautiful. The rooms were tidy and modern looking. The rooms were a bit small but perfect for our three day stay there. The bed was very hard much like every bed we have slept in while staying in Thailand. We loved how we felt a bit safe from the mosquitos in this hotel as we didn't feel that we needed to put on bug spray immediately after a shower when hanging in the room.

Very disappointing stay
Room was very small. Air-cond was leaking the whole night. We didn't realize until the next morning when we woke up and found our phone totally soaked in water!! When we complained to the staff during check-out they just said we may leave now. Didn't even apologize and respond to our complaint. Very very bad service. Would definitely not recommend this hotel to others.

I stayed here for 14 days and it was totally worth it! Loved my room as it overlooked the pool and had a little sit-in. It had a very cosy feel to it. I would definitely stay here again as the location is central to Tha pae gate and night bazaar. Food, laundry, money exchange, bike renting and tour offices are all in walking distance. The Staff are warm, friendly and attentive. So glad I found this place!

Really as nice a hotel as I could want. Not a luxury hotel but excellent. Room was very comfortable, beds were firm but very comfortable. Pool and restaurant: very nice. Breakfast was good, not just ok but good. Location was perfect for seeing Chiang Mai. Staff was helpful. Website photos was just how it looked.

Not much to look at from the outside but cute atrium set-up and clean, comfortable rooms. Bathroom/shower set up was a bit odd but overall a great value. Easy walking distance to the old walled city and many temples.
