I like the location it was near highway and family. But it needs serious cleaning and renovation. My family and I were walking to elevator. We notice trash from the hallway trash can spilling over on the floor in the hallway. The carpet had spots in addition the dirty cushions on couch. No remote control for TV. When we inquired, the night clerk apologized. But wasn't able to help us. Thank goodness it was only for one night. I wouldn't recommend.

This has to be the worst hotel i have ever visited. We walked into the lobby and the front desk petson had on a pair of jogging pants and a tie dye shirt. The sign at the desk, stated there were no working ice machines. There eas over flowing trash in the hallways, we went to three different rooms, none of the rooms had clean linen. The place smelled like weed and dogs. The beds actually looked like someone had taken a nap. The pillows did not even have pillow cases.We were so disappointed, we almost cried.

The front desk worker came to my door at 11:48 with a bit of aggressive enery when she assumed I had not checked out on time but in actuality I paid a fee to stay until 1. Then she called the room with the same negative energy because she misunderstood when I told her I had an extension and didn't give me time to explain what that meant. However, she changed her tone as I was checking out and was more pleasant. She should have apologized when she realized she was wrong but she did not.

Additionally, there were some kids running in the hallway at 12 AM to 2 AM and loads of trash was in the hall until the morning.

The elevator smelled of marijuana.

The facility really needs to be renovated! The lobby and surrounding areas were very depressing. In my room the carpet had a stinch smell to it. The ice machine was inoperable and there were no cups or toilet paper in the rooms. I very rarely have anything bad to say about a hotel, but this place needs to be shutdown or assumed under a new and more responsible management!

The guest service representative were great, but I was given a room that was not cleaned. It took to long to check in, I did the pre check in and still had to check with front desk. I was given a room with sheets that were stained. The room did not have a tv remote for the tv. Then I was given a remote that did not work. The key card did not work. The room wasn’t clean, the cleaning crew skipped that room and left a used wash cloth hanging over the shower rod. To make matters worst the tv didn’t work properly. And the next morning I noticed a used empty plastic bottle of orange juice near the bed. When I complained and requested to have my room changed. The new room was just as bad. Avoid that hotel! It should be called a motel.

When reserving the room online for an overnight stay, I don't recall seeing that a $100 deposit was required. Upon check-in, I was shown the desk banner and may card has a pending charge with the stay and deposit. After five business days, I received bank confirmation that I was only charged the stay.
There was damage to the sofa and light switch cover in the bathroom. The disinfectant used on the carpet was aggravating our breathing, so we cut the air on high and left for dinner. The environment was better upon return. I residents were noisy through the night. We left at 5 AM the next morning and found a person sleeping in the hallway.
I will never stay at that location again.

I’ve been staying here the last 3-4 years when I come to visit family. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had. I’m not sure if it just went down hill since changing to a Wyndham property or what. I had to switch rooms due to plumbing issues. I didn’t even mention that only three outlets worked in the room, Tv fuzzy as well as the fridge not properly functioning. The second room I was moved to was dated. Smelled like it had been sitting with no air circulating. We found dirty towels in the closet. Had to go buy some febreeze small spaces to make the room fresh being told that was the only “king size suite” they had available at that time and didn’t want to cause anymore fuss. The staff there were all polite and very punctual when we asked for the room to be serviced.

While we enjoyed are time by the end. This was not the best hotel. The room was missing a phone, TV didn't come on and the floor was soaked. The elevator was working on and off and their grab and go breakfast was two boxes of cereal. lol and the pool was broke. Look, we had a good time with the staff - they were wonderful. Really enjoyed the front desk employees. But overall I wouldn't book here again. I should have done better research.

Do not stay at Americinn by Wyndham.

I’m active duty Navy so im accustomed to poor living conditions, but this hotel will get zero stars from me. The room was not clean. There was trash still in the trash cans. There was old, dried up food on the carpet. The couch was filthy to the point I would not let my family touch it. The beds had other people’s hair in it. If I wasn’t in town for a family emergency, I would have walked out the moment I walked into the room. I can’t believe this establishment got $300 out of me, plus an additional $100 deposit. Wyndham’s name should not be attached to this hotel. I’m actually angry about my stay knowing there were other options in the area.

The concierge told us that we got the last set of towels for the entire hotel, until 10am the next day. There were no towels in our room upon arrival. There was only 1 working ice machine; which happened to be on the 1st floor. Otherwise; my stay was okay, but this was my 1st and my last. It kind of seemed like it was a trap house. What a disappointment. Will never stay here again. When new it was probably very nice but it's like they are getting ready to close it now. Under-staffed. Very dirty. Horrible condition. We even saw (in our room) a small hole in the wall that had been stuffed with paper. TV in first room wouldn't even turn on so they moved us to another. That TV turned on but did not work--message popped up saying not enough power. No coffee cups. No glasses. No Kleenex. At first we thought the bottom sheet on bed was soiled but on closer look we saw that it was so threadbare it looked soiled. They said they provided a grab and take breakfast. There were six granola bars and a stand with some tangerines.

There were stains on the carpet and stains on the sleeper sofa. Water damage on the wall in the bathroom, and a small hole in the wall. It smelled like weed in the hallway both days almost the whole day. The continental breakfast was an absolute joke. It was nutrigrain bars, prepackaged muffins, tiny apples and oranges and orange juice. They called it grab and go breakfast. For over $210 for one night I expected way more. The exit door at the bottom of the stairwell was locked and could not be opened from the inside, this was not an emergency exit. I would assume this is a fire hazard. Also only one room key worked and even that had to be swiped 3 times to get it to work. Somebody had left a condom in the drawer from a previous visit. I would NOT recommend staying here!

After working an18 hours shift coming to the room for the first time today. I didn’t notice the dirty towels hang in the shower. Around 1am decided to take a shower. Looking around in the bathtub there was dirty towels hanging in the shower. Not enough toilet paper that was very uncomfortable. Overall I was very disappointed. Luckily I had disinfectant sprays with me. So I cleaned up a little bit shower and got a little more rest before going back to work.

Not the greatest service nor greatest of guests. This is not a place to do a vacay. It's a place to live if you can't make it financially and can't afford anything else. Everything felt small in the bathroom, bathroom door had been scraped on the back. Elevator smelt like pee and was obviously not clean. It's better to stay at the other hotels right next to it. Service is below standard, check-in was surprising because it's $100 deposit not $15 deposit. I go outside after 7:30 PM (door locks to everyone except for guests with key. They insert it to get into the hotel. Service lady asks if I have a room when I come in. Yes lady, or I wouldn't have gotten in...

Underwhelming for a Wyndam property

I found this hotel a bit underwhelming for it to be a Wyndham property. A plus was that my room was big, but it was a disabled accessible room. The room seemed like it was only moderately cleaned. The room was dusty. There were ants around the sink. The bathroom had poor lighting. The room definitely showed some wear and tear. The inside of the hotel appeared a bit rundown. The carpets needed cleaning, there was no drink machine and the ice machine looked like a health hazard. There were no cups in my room and the coffee pot had mold (the clerk did have housekeeping replace it-but I wasn't going to use the coffee-maker after seeing the mold). There was a $100 deposit that I wasn't aware of, but it was returned at check out. The peep hole looked like it was packed with tissue. I expected a little more for what it cost per night. A little TLC would go a long way to improving the experience at this property. Doubtful that I will stay here during my next visit.

I appreciate the fact they always have openings regardless of what time I arrive and reasonable rates. However, they have started to charge a $100 deposit at check-in. On my most recent stay my card was charged $209.51 ($100 deposit plus $109.51 room rate including taxes). I waited a week and the deposit still had not been issued. When I called the property, the front desk clerk informed me I was charged for 2 nights; when I explained I only stayed 1 night and that's exactly what my reservation was made for, she told me to call the manager the next day. I called the next day starting at 9:00 am and was told several times the manager, Lexanne, was not available. I emailed the property owners (the emails listed on the receipt) and I have yet to receive a response and another week has passed. The rates have fluctuated from week to week, which I can understand. But to be dishonest and charge someone for an additional night stay they did not receive, avoiding phone calls, and neglecting to respond to emails is not professional at all.

This could possibly be the worst hotel I’ve been to. I paid in advance for a king bed RM was told I could only get a double bed RM for me and my wife on her 50th bday. Beds so small wife and I couldn’t sleep in the same bed. No night stand between beds, no toilet paper, room was filthy no breakfast, only 1 elevator worked, 1 towel and face cloth, the entire hotel smelled like marijuana (even the staff), and paid premium price. Emailed the General Manager for a credit on my room for not having king bed room and no reply.

We booked a so called studio suite for 3, 2 adults and my nephew. The room was no more than a double room with a sofa bed in the corner. The room smelt of stale cigarettes and the carpet was didgusting and stuck to my feet and the bed linen looked filthy and unironed. The room bore absolutely no resemblence to the photos on the website. We refused to stay in this room and were given 2 queen size rooms for the original price as a good-will gesture by the very understanding desk clerk. I was then contacred by her to say her manager had informed her only one night of the second room would be free. I put her straight on that issue immediately. The hotel furniture was outdated and gloomy and the bathroom required modernising with rust and grime in the bath tub. The website says breakfast is provided. A cofee machine is not my idea of breakfast. I will never again stay at any Wyndham hotel and would certainly not recommend anyone else do so.. i paid almost 500 dollars for 3 nights. It was not value for money. Word of advice. Pay a little extra and stay in a renowned hotel. With hotel Americinn you underdtand the meaning of the phrase you get what you pay for.

It was a quick and easy check in. The front desk staff was very nice and pleasant. The hotel is located around numerous restaurants. It was also close to the event I was attending which made it so easy to get back and forth. I was disappointed the pool and gym was closed. There does need to be some upgrading to the rooms. The tv remote had tape on the back to keep the batteries in and some of the molding needs to be fixed. All in all, it was a decent overnight stay.

The Front Desk staff had no idea what they were doing. We were prepaid but were told that I needed to swipe my card to confirm. Their system then provided notification of a double charge. I expect to be reimbursed.

There wasn’t a remote control for television and no bath towels in the room. We were eventually provided both of those to our room. The remote didn’t have a cover over the battery compartment. The desk clerk had to get bath towels from another guest’s room.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bath water was barely lukewarm and it took a bit of work to turn the faucet off. There were no napkins nor cups of any type in the room. We were told to expect a “grab and go” breakfast. There were ONLY packets of grits and oatmeal. Nothing else. We rushed to get out of there!!!

The staff was friendly. The room, bathroom and furnishing was disgusting. We had to go to the store and purchase cleaning suppliers and wash the bathroom prior to using it. The toilet had black stuff inside and i had to get a tiolet brush from the staff to clean it out because here was no maintenance staff to do so. The sofa was badly strained and the carpet was disgusting with stains all over. The elevator and the hallway smelled like Marijuana. The online booking indicated that breakfast was included but when we got there we were told, it was not. I definitely would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anybody.

They gave my room to someone else, and gave me a room that no one should ever have to lounge in…not alone sleep or shower in. The bathroom had no light. Stains all on the carpet in different areas. Yellow stains on the couch that took up at least a third of the couch. Hair was under the Borge the comforter and sheet that was on the bed. White large stains we on the counter tops throughout the bathroom. An earwig was crawling in the bathroom. The tub needed to be enameled because blacks marks existed. The missing bathroom light was on a shelf in the closet. I took pix of it all. When I gave the front desk back the key the next morning (after sleeping at the Hilton), she said leaving so soon…? Looked at the room number and said “oh…okay”, like she knew why and the condition of the room. I slept two hours in the lobby of the Hilton until they gave me a room at 5am in the morning (I gladly paid the additional charge of $75 to check in early in order to get a room that was clean and acceptable so I could rest after). traveling for hours…).

I came all the way from Arkansas. I paid $500 to stay in this hotel. It wasn’t clean, elevators couldn’t work, I asked for fresh towels everyday and couldn’t get them. Workers were not nice at all. I just feel like I paid way too much for what I got.

Room was not clean at all!

There was damage to the room prior to Estus staying. He had to clean the shower and the bed had pubic hair on the sheets and pillows. This is not acceptable. We will never use another AmericInn by Wyndham again. I have pictures of the filthy room and shower.

The staff were very kind and friendly. Helpful when they can be. However the facility itself was in very poor taste. Apparently they are under new management and hence many amenities are unavailable. No pool. Cold to go breakfast. Our room was pretty filthy. There were stains all over the carpet and couch, the tv remote and phone did not work, we needed to go down stairs if we needed assistance, there were splash stains on our headboards and tables. Neighbors blasted music and we saw a few individuals with fire arms or openly smoking. There was water damage in the hall, having the place smell of mildew. If looking for a place to rest your head for a few hrs cool, but if want comfort, this isn't the place to go.

Advertised breakfast, there was nothing, not even coffee. Our floor smelled of weed, definitely not conducive to a family atmosphere. Keys didn't work properly, was locked out of the hotel for 20 minutes because they lock front door. Awful stay.
