If you like being walked in on my cleaning staff after You told front desk not to send them and you like being laughed at and disrespected, this is the property for you!

This past stay after having stayed here many times we had a complete nightmare of a stay.

After telling the staff at check-in we did not want cleaning service they had someone show up anyway. My husband was indisposed and I was in the bathroom when the lady showed up. She did a very quick knock and said „cleaning service „ my husband barely got out the word „no“ and she swipes her card and enters anyway, she was opening the door while she asked if we . was laying on the bed in a state of undress. This lady assumed there was no one in the room even though we were staying for two nights and told staff we wanted NO cleaning.

My husband was mortified and called the front desk and spoke with Dawn L. She was completely unsympathetic and even chuckled when my husband said his weekend would be marred by this event. He explained he was undressed in bed and she didn’t care at all.

I think even an ounce of empathy would have been nice. Instead she laughed and acted like it wasn’t a big deal. I assure you if she had been laying on the bed half naked after shouting at that cleaning staff not to ended she’d be pretty upset.

Dawn was so unhelpful and ultimately transferred my husband to leave a message with manager Victor, who did NOT return our call to date.

And to add to the fun, the air conditioner was broken.

When we got there there was no air conditioning in the rooms at all. They were still checking people in knowing that the a/c was broken. Didn’t even stay the night ended up driving home.

The Golden Nugget lost air conditioning. The service tech said we should \"sleep with the door propped open\" to alleviate the issue. When it's 100+ degrees and your room has no a/c it's not a pleasant experience. The hotel offered no assistance.

I would like to start by stating that I paid for a king-size bed room, but when I arrived, I was given a room with two queen-size beds and was never notified of the change beforehand.

The plumbing throughout the hotel was extremely poor. The entire hotel smelled like sewage, and both the sink and shower in my room flooded immediately whenever the water was turned on.

It was also a very hot weekend, and the air conditioning barely worked. When I contacted the front desk, I was informed that the air conditioning units throughout the hotel had not been working properly for the past week. I do not understand how the hotel continued booking guests while these issues were ongoing.

In addition, several elevators were not working, creating further inconvenience. When we went to the pool, there were Band-Aids floating in the water, which was very unsanitary and concerning. And other thing the tile in my bathroom had no more grout so it was all lifting and I stubbed my toe really bad.

Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable hotel standards.

The room was good. Bed was comfortable with nice linens.
I was not impressed with the $75.00 pet fee. A bit extreme. Plus, they took a $100.00 deposit which we won’t get back until after the access the room condition.
The sink and tub did not drain very well.
It was ok otherwise.

In the West Wing, primary elevator not working, forcing guests to walk all the way down the first floor corridor (to the end of the hallway) to use the secondary elevator. From the dogeared \"sorry for the inconvenience \" information posted on the elevator, it’s been awhile in disrepair, it appears there is no rush to fix. Unfriendly and loud a/c controls... just need ON/OFF, upper/lower temperature, Not System, Fan the HVAC tech is familiar with. No glasses provided, only coffee cups. 2 coffee pods. Wrinkled drapes. Wallpaper in bathroom is lifting from top to bottom. Room lacks any welcoming amenities. I used to enjoy my stay, but no longer...very disappointing.

The staff was polite and professional, but were unable to help with much of anything.
The Hotel claims to be pet friendly and in fact has a very nice set up for customers to be on the ground floor with basically an area right outside the bedroom to walk your dog. That was very nice and useful. However, not a single restaurant on site would allow a pet in the restaurant. I knew this would be the case except for patio seating. The one restaurant, with patio seating, only allowed service animals. We basically had to go back over to the Arizona side of the river to go to a decent restaurant which would allow pets. Naturally, we spent almost no time at all in the hotel. Didn’t gamble once I was very disappointed overall with our stay.

I gave it a three star because it was like a motel 6 with a casino attached. The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly.
My biggest problem was the walls were paper thin and at 230 in the morning the animal next door decided to throw a party. The bed was literally shaking. We called the front desk several times and no one answered.
Although we were booked for 2 nights, we left early because we didn’t want to deal with another night like we just had.
I will never stay there again.
On the bright side the casino was fun.

Our room was clean. Missing hair dryer. Saturday wanted a late snack 10 pm, claim jumpers. Sister went to snack bar stood in line with others and the person working told everyone “she had errands to run and didn’t know what time she would be back”so she closed and everyone went with out. I didn’t think that was professional at all. I think something should remain open to keep people from leaving casino to go look for food .

The advertised prices are low, but watch out for 'resort extras'. The rooms are ok, but considering how much money the casino must produce, I think a bit more could be spent on the accommodation. Breakfast in the restaurant is good value.

I’m a bit disappointed this time with Expedia and the golden nugget. I book room that said terrace and when we arrive the room had no balcony and no screen on the window either so I couldn’t even open my window to enjoy the evening. When I booked I was under the impression when it said terrace that we were gonna have a little balcony , or a room that opened to the pool kind of thing. I will probably book a different casino next time.

The room was quiet. I never can sleep well in hotels but I sleep so well. Room was easy to get to and very clean. Only 4 floors in the building I stayed and I stayed on the 4th floor. Garage view lol. And when leaving the staff was very very friendly as well. That a nice touch. And also the front desk staff was also very friendly.

Biggest draw for us is parking garage (free!) --> hotel lobby --> room is a SMOKE FREE walk!! No casino to walk through to get to the hotel lobby. Rates are reasonable; clean room, limited and somewhat dated amenities.

All was excellent but there were hidden fees.
They charge $50 for a dog which is more than the charge for humans. There are also high charges for “Resort Fees”which I wish were included with the cost as it doubled the room rate. However the room was beautiful and in a courtyard so dog walking was convenient!

It is old , it needs a lot of updating!
We ordered items from housekeeping twice.And they never came.
The Only good thing about this golden nugget property is the lobby entrance And Anthony at Rush Lounge , who is the only bartender in the entire place who knows how to make a proper drink! No microwave in the room and the worst view ever! They were not accommodating at check-in.Although the gal had an accommodating smile. We have stayed on the strip and thought we would try it.We won't be back! Further, we ate at the claim jumper and the service was awful.We waited and waited.And when we asked for condiments , it took forever for them to come. The salt grass was decent , but it's not as great as they advertise!

Deceiving! We were looking forward to our stay but were EXTREMELY disappointed. Our check in process was a mess as our room key kept getting deactivated. Front desk is nothing shy of useless and clueless. They were unable to provide us with a resolution other than to wait. The rooms itself are OLD and DIRTY! We had gnats all over our room, the AC was not cooling properly, phone was missing buttons as mentioned by a previous guest and the tv was discolored. Beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are kid sized. I have no idea how this place is considered a “4-star” hotel when it lacks basic necessities. The rooms are old and unkept. Save yourself the trouble and money - BOOK ELSEWHERE!

Golden Nugget Laughlin is usually our favorite place to stay. We usually stay in the west tower but this time, we were given a room in the east tower. The room was very run down and very small. There was nowhere to hang dresses as the closet was only set up for pants and shirts. The bathroom had a strong bleach smell and the alarm clock display was wonky.

Stayed in 2 different rooms for a very reasonable price, but each was very out dated and could use some repairs. This room had wall paper peeling and a dented bathroom wall from the door handle. Water in tub very slow to drain. Toilet had a screeching sound when flushed, sink was heavily rusted.

Have stayed there many times and it had gone down but this time, it was much nicer. Still remodeling some rooms. The lower levels on both east and west wings are for people with dogs of all SIZES. The sliding glass doors open to the courtyard for you know what. I wouldn't want to stay in one of those rooms. Other than that, everything was good.

Room wasnt as clean as expected...we registered with 4 people in our room and only got 2 towels. Also found cheez it crackers on the floor in the bathroom. The property had everything ee needed. Nice and relaxing good property with kids. Pool was nice and open late which is a plus. We enjoyed the river whuke the kids swam....the pool was super cold, like freezing. But the kids didnt care rhey used the hot tub to thaw out...lol

The hotel is fine. The casino is not great. Tables close at 11:30 because they do not have enough staff. Some of the dealers were friendly, but many are outwardly unfriendly. At times there was just one cocktail waitress for the entire casino floor (according to the pit boss). There were times when they had just one blackjack table open, even though many people were waiting to play. Instead they had a Pai Gow table and a 3 card poker table open…with no one playing and dealers standing around. Multiple people asked if a second blackjack table could be opened, the pit boss said no. If you’re coming here to gamble, consider going elsewhere.

You have to walk through the smoky casino to get to any of the restaurants. The Expedia website showed the room I purchased to have wood floors (in the pic), so I paid extra for that room, but the hotel said Expedia does not get any of the wood floor (remodeled) rooms. So I had to go through a long process to change my reservation and fix that. If you are in your room and call the front desk they never answer. The bathroom floor was not properly cleaned.
