We had a great stay at River Lodge Laughlin. We were a little disappointed that the pool was out of order during our visit, especially with our 2 and 4 year olds, but overall we still had a really good experience. The room was very clean, the view was beautiful, and we appreciated how kid friendly the property felt for our family. The staff was kind, and the location made it easy to enjoy Laughlin with little ones. We’d definitely consider staying again!

I am not one to complain... however, after taking my parents to the Grand Canyon for their 50th anniversary, my husband and I were looking forward to this girl specifically for the river beach & pool. Upon check in, we were unforgettable the pool was \"closed currently for maintenance\". Which was a HUGE disappointment. I spoke with a worker in the bowling alley that eve, and he said the pool had been closed for over 2 years!!!
The entire hotel is very dated, which I don't mind. But the old tube TV and decore along with no USB outlets was surprising. The beach area is nice but the hut umbrellas have no straw roofs left.
All in all, the staff was fabulous. Clean hotel. Comfy beds. Easy check in. But the pool not being disclosed as closed along the other room complaints, I would say this hotel is ok for the price. They should just disclose that the pool is closed.

Paid for a Riverview. Windows were horribly dirty. Multiple bird droppings, spotty and just dirty. Kind of ruined the view we paid for. No fridge, microwave, not even an ice bucket! Got 3 ridiculously overstuffed standard pillows for 1 king bed. Who uses only 1 pillow? You really couldn't afford a 4th pillow? Room interior and bathroom were clean.

This is one of the worst hotel I have been to in a long time shower takes long to heat up and no working ice machine on any of the floors. You only get one bags of ice per stay. They didn’t have any restaurant in the hotel. I should have just stay at a motel if I want to be treated like this. I think they should really look in this issues. I will not be coming back to the Laughlin River Lodge extremely disappointed.

The room we got was clean and it overlooked the river had a microwave and refrigerator. We enjoyed our stay. But miss the cafe. Wasn't happy that they didn't serve food. Also they don't have a pool anymore. There was a girl at the gift shop who couldn't multi-task. I wanted a purchase a few items while my family stood in line to check in. She kept telling people in front of her.... Hold on I'll be right with you hold on I'll be right with you... She had to take a call and it was for a girl who was on her break. She should just took a message or told them to call back cuz she was on a break. She Kept walking back and forth to the back room to tell a coworker she had a call. It was ridiculous to watch her go back and forth. 3 things that upset my stay.

I was in a 2 night stay and my experience was good. The front desk staff was really helpful and she tried her best to help me. The checking in process was also pretty fast and easy. The security at the property were amazing trying to answer my questions. Nonetheless I wish the resort was more organized with the amenities that it promotes. Amazing idea about the to-go packs but unfortunately I had to go all the way to the front desk for ice. I tried actually going up 1-2 floors and same down but none worked until I found at least the sign that redirected me to the front desk. This reminds me the view from the room was amazing! Can't wait to go back to the Colorado River. Another amenity is the EV charging and this is unfortunately the part which was difficult during my stay. The first night I had to wait until a none EV vehicle moved. I actually asked a lady that was sitting in her car just how long she would be there to wait to secure the space. The lady said she didn't know and well I had to wait. Luckily the only one EV charging car eventually left the casino and I was able to park and charge my car. I honestly think this lady was just sleepibg there for the night since jt was 2am. Most spaces taken by none EV charging vehicles. It's not about being close to an entrance which is what these none ev vehicles park for. An inconvenience doesn't make it right to park there. Just like any other parking space that is labeled and people usually follow what is indicated.

I have never in my adult life had to wait for over an hour in line to check into a hotel. Total wait time at Laughlin River Lodge was nearly 2 hours. Absolutely ridiculous. The check in process was inefficient and, when coupled with only three staff members to process dozens of guests, an absolute nightmare. Room was okay and seemed clean.

I would give 5 stars but the pool was not available and the river taxi is not available and the food was more like bar food but it was close to every thing and i won more there then any other place. We had to wait in line for an hour to check in. The line was from the registration desk clear back to the entrance doors! Then when were finally able to check in, we went up to our room and neither key card worked so we had to go back to the registration desk so they could fix it. One card worked all weekend. Standard really does mean standard, no extras like coffee maker, ironing board ice bucket. The room was clean and the bed comforatable.

For the price, I would recommend staying here. The room was clean and roomy with a king bed, two comfy chairs, and a desk with a chair.
Where it lacks, is modern amenities and updating. No USB port’s in the room and the room itself, while clean, needs to be updated
Parking is convenient and free.
The biggest drawback for me was that by the time I walked through the casino to get to my room, I REAKED of smoke and my asthmatic lungs literally hurt. I realize it’s a casino, and there’s going to be smoke, but evidently their filtration system is not up there with the best of them.
Overall, a decent place to stay, that needs updating. You get what you pay for.

The hotel is clean, quiet and the staff very friendly and helpful. The really huge drawback to this place is there are no restaurants!! Each bar can fix \"bar\" food; but as for having a sit-down restaurant to eat a decent meal -- not happening here. They have closed all of their restaurants so you can only get donuts and pastries at the General Store; hamburger/cheeseburger; chicken tenders, soup and grill cheese sandwich etc. at the bars. I will not stay there again!!

Just trying to get checked was a lengthy wait in line, on a Saturday not enough desk clerks working! Finally got checked in,& to our room neither one of our keys would work!! So I had to go back,& stand in a lengthy line again to get new keys made!!
The room didn't have enough electrical outlets to plug in our phones,& CPAPs without unplugging lamps! No ice machine, had to go to the front desk to get ice! I was told you were allowed one small bag per day which was the size of a small ice bucket. Your hands were freezing by the time you could get it to your room!
Stayed here to enjoy the pool, NO WATER IN THE POOL!!
The furniture in the rooms was so old it looked like something you would buy at a thrift store,& plan on refinishing!!

The room was very dusty. The ice machines were broken. There was a mysterious stain on our carpet and the tub and sink drain were really slow to drain. The pillows were so hard like sleeping on rocks. There was no hair dryer, or coffee maker in the room. Pool was out of order as well. Staff did not offer any locations of gym or sauna or pool. We went wondering and found things. Also, no real restaurant in the casino to eat.

We rented the family suite and the floors were not thoroughly mopped, there was a sticky spot in the kids bathroom. Looked like maybe a child dropped a splat of toothpaste and house cleaning did not go through and pick it up. Also smelled like dollar store chemicals. All in all the staff though made up for it every single person I came across gave excellent customer service and was overall very friendly.

The rooms were not very.clean. The ice machines were broken on all floors they did give you a vey small ice bucket bag of ice at the front desk. No sit down restaurants in the hotel. The pool was under renovations for well over a year. Stains on carpet in the room. Sink and tub didn’t drain well. However the staff was very friendly and helpful. No machines or cashier cage to turn your tickets in for cash. You had to take them to the bar to redeem for cash.

The staff was very helpful and so kind. Adriana and Lucille answered all of our questions and helped us immediately when there was an issue with our keys. The one draw back to this property is the lack of a pool, and had we known theirs was out of commission we would not have booked there. Aside from that the room was clean and cold, no blow dryer or extras like a fridge or cable only 13 channels, but definitely had a great view. Parking can be a bit of a walk so drop unload right after check in the park in the structure.

We were looking forward to the restaurant that had the great hamburgers and fries from when we visited 2 years ago. Sadly the restaurant is shut down. We walked two hotels down to eat dinner at Bumble’s. The hotel staff was nice, but we booked our rooms there for the restaurant. The gift shop has shrunk a bit. Not as many cute things. But we liked the free small coffee coupon. Overall, we won’t be booking there again. Unless they up their food game.

During our last several stays here, there are fewer and fewer comforts, and the rooms are showing wear. E.g., this time, the faucet in the bathroom didn't work properly and leaked. Now, there is only ONE chair provided with the room, and one of the reasons we reserve a riverview room is so that my husband and I can sit and appreciate the river flowing just below our window. Also, the \"blackout curtains\" are anything but because there is no valence, and the outside spotlights on the building make the room as light as daylight. Makes for a very poor night's sleep. This will likely be our last time at the River Pallms.
