There were stains on the bedding & sheets.
Bathroom floor near corners and around toilet were filthy. There was no hand soap nor any in the shower container. Didn’t have time to notice before staying as we checked in and left for a wedding and returned after midnight. No one at counter to request soap. Luckily we bring our own for emergencies. Mattresses need replacing. The toppers are lumpy and very uncomfortable.

The property is nice. The night attendant? Not so much. When I first arrived to check in, th attendant was sitting in th3 lobby, playing on her table. She hard the chime of the door when it opened, so there was no reason to make me wait before she could meander to the check-in desk.
I needed to extend my stay to a day, but she seemed extremely disinterested in looking for a room.
The morning attendant was very friendly. She’s the reason why I don’t rank this hotel lower.

Another short stay at my favourite hotel. As usual the staff were very friendly and efficient, the room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was ready on time and good. The bed was quite comfortable also.
My only complaint is that I wish the coffee were a bit stronger, but that's just my personal preference.
By the way, the price was right.

The staff was friendly & attentive when I made some requests. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The air conditioner could use some servicing- it generated plenty of cold air but was a bit hard to regulate. The bath tub should be replaced as it's floor is not level. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

I would not recommend going to this hotel, I had the worst experience. The lady at the desk charged me twice for two nights, she claimed there was a glitch in the computer. To me it sounds like she didn't know what she was doing. Also I was not told that the pool was closed down until I asked much later on. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on my money to be returned to my account, I definitely will never be staying at this hotel again.

The rooms were not well lit. The refrigerator was very dirty. I think they just looked at it and wiped out the crumbs and thought it was good, but if you got down low you would see mold. I would not stay there again.

There was a lot of construction on the freeway and it smelled like asphalt. The room itself was clean however, the shower curtain was stained with something. The front door had a big gap. I could see through to the hallway however it was a nice size room.

I recommended this hotel to my husband because the restaurant is open late. Upon reservation, we instantly received a confirmation including the restaurant would be open until 9P. It wasn't open at all. Also, the desk manager sat at the bar and ignored my husband for five minutes with nobody at the desk. Coffee was tepid in the morning. I'm sorry I sent him there and we won't be back.

That’s a first…..

The room had a strange odor, especially the bathroom. There were only hand towels left for us, no bath towels (remedied quickly by the front desk staff). Our toilet clogged at 11:30 pm and when I called the front desk, I was told to come and get the plunger from the front desk downstairs and unclog the toilet myself…!?! Which I did, but seriously!!!??? Every time I was at the front desk I had to wait several minutes because there was no one stationed there (the attendant in the morning was WAY overworked - running front desk AND the very busy breakfast area!). The beds were comfortable, the breakfast as expected. But unclog my own toilet?! Never thought I’d have that experience at a hotel!

On Expedia it says that this hotel has a pool but when we got there the front desk lady said that they haven’t had a pool in over three months and that I couldn’t get a refund for my reservation. I showed her the Expedia website where it said that there was a pool at the hotel. She was very nice and said she wouldn’t charge me for the deposit. She was really nice and said she would make sure that they would get ahold of Expedia and get it changed. I will be contacting Expedia tomorrow morning

One night stay

One night stay heading for my son’s UIUC campus visit. It was beyond our expectations! The Mabager in the front desk super nice. The hotel is incredible comfortable and warm feeling. Clean, spacious and the breakfast was great, the espresso machine is wonderful surprise!

The room was dirty, floor needed to be vacuumed and bathroom floor was dirty. I asked for it to be cleaned Saturday morning, twice, but not done or clean towels. No bar of hand soap. Other guests said their rooms were dirty too. Short staffed. One lady running breakfast and working front desk and getting cleaning staff their orders. Which were clearly not followed. Won’t stay there again when visiting family In Bourbonnais.

Overnight stay on way to vacation

The hotel was extremely busy the one night we stayed with a festival going on along with baseball and softball tournaments. Once 11 pm hit, we didn’t hear much, so it was quiet. The breakfast had selection, but the workers weren’t quick to refill some items, so there were no pancakes to eat as the machine ran out.

A stress mess

There was food in the microwave and fridge from the last guest. All the soaps in the shower were empty and there were stains on each layer of bedding. I called room service the next morning to change the sheets and when we came back the bed was still bare. A staff member upgraded us to a suite which still didn’t have all the soaps filled. By the time we were in the new room our baby was way past her time to eat and past her bedtime. The inconvenience of the room situation made it a stressful stay when this was suppose to be for leisure. Will not be booking with this chain again.

Not the standard I would expect of a BW+

Stayed there overnight to attend a sporting event and wanted a larger suite to do some work the next day. The room smelled like dogs, there was no hair dryer (a basic I haven’t seen a hotel without for 10 years+) and in general it seemed run down.

The hotel itself is very large and comfortable. There is plenty of parking. The staff was great and helpful. It is a little bigger fitness center than its neighbor competitors which was nice. The only downside was that there were a few breakfast machines out of service and the eggs were not good (but that is pretty common from my experience).

The lighting in the parking lot is pretty bright. Rooms should have blackout drapes. Our room had thin blinds which did nothing to block out the lights. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

Good, pet & family hotel!

Great front desk staff. Great lobby, nice pool. The room was clean with the exception of a stain in the carpet. They are pet friendly, but I wish they would've provided an area to take your pet potty, or at least, clean up bags with designated garbage can. We will definitely stay again.

First issue, the pool was closed. We specifically chose thisbhitel due to it having a pool. Secondly, there was not enough help for a busy weekend. I felt so sorry for the lady at the front desk, who was trying to take care of everyone Saturday morning as well as help take care of the very busy breakfast area. She was trying her best!

I was charged a $75 fee upon checking in. I was told I would receive this despite back once it was cleared and there was no damage or issues with my stay. I called both the hotel and the corporate number to no avail. I was told that the money was submitted to be returned back as there was no damage to the room. It’s been over a month I’ve yet to receive my $75 back. Please a credit card if you plan on staying here as you might have to dispute the charge.

Overall a very nice experience. I'm rating a 4 instead of 5 as things were just not as they should be: carpet in hallway was worn and could be cleaned: shower curtain rod was bowed and there was no way to prevent the curtain from sliding toward the center and thus the floor was getting flooded, the body wash bottle was empty. That being said, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have had in a long time in one of these hotels-- fresh, nicely prepared and seasoned, plentiful.

Carpet and tile floors in need of a major cleaning.
Bathtub was extremely slippery and looked worn out:
ring around the tub and the nonslip things on the bottom were grey.
I made the front desk and the maid aware of the tub situation and they did an extra good scrub which helped with the slipperiness but it still looked dirty probably due to age.
