Very accommodating to English speaking guests. Easy access from the airport.
Breakfast was made to order, plus a wide variety of buffet items. There’s a bakery next door that provides mouth watering aromas.

I loved sitting in the covered porch watching the day go from dark to daylight. I loved listening to the chickens all day long. I loved being greeted every morning by the staff. I loved having good drinking water always available. I enjoyed watching the staff care for the property. It looked like such a labor of love. The food was always amazing. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews, and now I am wondering if they are real. The hotel ripped me off as soon as I walked in. I (correctly) booked a room for 2 adults and a child, but they gave us a room that only fit 2 people. They blamed me for booking it \"wrong\". In order to get into a room that actually fit 3, they charged me an extra $100 per night. Expedia has tried to resolve it with the hotel, but the hotel still refuses. If the hotel wasn't so dishonest, it may have been possible to overlook other things like AC only in some rooms, a shower that barely drains, and 100 flies swirling around the blueberies at breakfast (fortunately only the first of our 3 nights). I do have to say they were very polite as they were cheating me, and the hotel tour guide did find us a last minute tour that we appreciated. But if you prefer to judge a hotel by how they handle things when they go wrong, you will want to avoid this place.

After I booked the hotel I received a couple of emails from Monica the manager of the property telling me the requirements to come here including a 24hours COVID-19 test in order to show negative results. On Christmas fay I had to have a doctor coming to the hotel in Santiago to administer the test and provide results. It has been very difficult very expensive and not necessary. The request from the hotel is outdated since 2022 the Easter Island authority stopped the mandate. Furthermore the sign on the window telling guest that management will reopens at18:50 was not correct. After I waited 1hour the other day I had to go to a restaurant to make a phone call and ask to have a person open the office. Finally the breakfast did not provide banana and when I asked for pineapple that told me it was too expensive to buy. I pineapple cost 5 dollars. On the positive the location is excellent.

We were leaving in the early hours for Sunrise and hike to the cave, then go to airport after. I were thinking it would be nice to have something to bring for breakfast but I did not expect they will give us anything, but when I mentioned to the manager, she said she would prepare something for us, sure she did. Juice, coffee, bread, eggs and cheese. So we were able to see the sunrise and hike without passing out.

The staff is incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate requests. They offer airport pick up and drop off. Breakfast is included. The hotel is centrally located and the area is walkable with many nearby restaurants, shops, and the beach. I used the hotel tour guide Alejandro who was excellent and very knowledgeable about the history and island. Overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend!

Inaki Uhi is amazing. It's right at the center of town so it makes getting around easy. The staff was so friendly and helpful with planning activities. The rooms were clean. We stayed 4 days. Our room was not cleaned first 3 days. I asked the manager if someone can at least bring us fresh towels, she said ok and that room will be cleaned. After we came back from the tour, our trash can was emptied, but we still did not get fresh towels. 2 body towels, 1 hand towel and 1 shower rug for 4 days dirty dusty sandy island vacation. You can imagine how those towels looked after being used non stop for 4 days. Just sad.

Great hotel right in town. We didn't do the included breakfast option, but they have a full kitchen so you can cook your own meals, which saved us money. The shower in our unit was VERY small, and we didn't have a ceiling fan (just a small bedside fan; there's no AC), but half the hotel has been renovated (and those rooms looked much nicer with bigger showers), so hopefully the other half will be done soon (our unit was not). The owner was very nice and gave us a tour of town after picking us up at the airport!

This is a very cute local hotel, and the management is very friendly. Although I don't speak Spanish, Marianella used google translate to help us visit! I enjoyed my 3 night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free airport pickup/drop off is great. It is close to restaurants and the central area. If you require a car/scooter, there is a rental place next door. If you want to save money there are 2 kitchens you can use.

The rooms could be updated as the decor is a bit dated. The bed is comfortable. The hot water can take a while to get to your room, depending where you are located. There are no TV, if you need one then download shows before traveling.

I will stay here again.

We were lucky that the owner’s family were working at the property during our stay because one regular staff member had injured herself and could not work while we were there.. They are lovely people who speak good English. However, the usual staff do not speak English which caused problems when making enquires or checking information prior to our arrival. We had to book late as we were caught up in the hotel quickly scandal, and had our original accommodation cancelled on us with very little warning so we had few choices and the price was relatively high compared to earlier prices for the island accommodation. The accommodation was simple and the property is in need of maintenance and renovation. I guess one has to be very relaxed about problems of water being turned off in the late morning for a while, a bath that needed patching and a leaking toilet. Wifi is also problematic other than email - slow and dropped out at times when trying to surf the net However, the position is excellent, the family was warm & chatty and the garden pleasant to sit in so we enjoyed our time at Easter Island.

Hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants, shops, markets, pharmacy and rental cars. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Went with my husband, brother and 98 year old mother. When mom wasn't feeling well they brought her a drink with milk, bananas and mangoes! Excellent service! Beautiful hotel and good value. Some of the more expensive hotels are a bit off the beaten path and away from many conveniences.

Great experience while staying on Easter Island last month. The hotel is close to everything (shops, places to eat, touring companies and only a few minute walk to the beach). I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. You do have to remember that this is a remote island and everything is a little more laid back but the hotel experience was good (along with getting picked up/ dropped off at the airport included). The island is such a magical place and worth the time it takes to get there. Moai are everywhere. Prices are a little higher, but considering where you are at, not bad. Also internet a little slow but also not bad considering the remote location. I'd love to visit again

I would not recommend staying here. This is more like a guesthouse/motel not a hotel. Inaki Uhi advertised that they offer free shuttle service from the airport. I was told I would be picked up but my ride never showed and I was given no explanation just sorry we didn't come after I was left to figure out another solution on my own. They state they offer free wifi, but I had no wifi access my entire stay with no explanation from the staff. There are better options on the island, stay far away from this place!

The location is very good, supermarket 4min, see 10 min. to walk. Very nice garden with places with chares.. The stuff is very friendly, the room was cleaned every day( except towells all the stay were not changed, but laundry is on the corner open from 9am to 1pm and from 4-8 pm. Possible to bring yourself at 9 am and take back to 7.30 pm). The chicken is good with all necessary to prepaire a breakfest or a light lunch or dinner.

Good Location, Quality Could Be Better

This hotel, while well located, is antiquated by modern standards. I had to turn on hot water to the sink to get the shower to heat up, and the bathroom was quite cramped. The mattress was old and furniture warped. While there is a communal kitchen, people talking in the courtyard late at night would sometimes keep me awake. There is no A/C but it was not needed. While instructions say to leave the towel in the shower for it to be changed, this just results in a wet towel.

The owner is friendly and speaks English well having lived in Australia. He meets visitors at the airport and gives a nice tour of the area. However, he is not always present and there is no traditional front desk staff. The hotel is on the main street near dining, shops, and an ocean swimming area.

Easter Island represents the peak of ancient Polynesian culture. It is beautiful, very safe and the tap water is drinkable. I recommend traveling to the Island, but it may be worth looking at a newer facility.

Alvaro, the property owner and manager, was super helpful in making sure we knew where to go and what to do. A comfortable but simple property. If visit Hanga Roa needing your own couch and end table, cable and speedy internet, you should stay elsewhere, and also should spend more time visiting around the island.

Decor and building is simple and consistent with what you would expect of island living. Enough space for a short stay, close to restaurants, rental places and the ocean.

Easter Island is a magical place and its people are what create that magic. At this hotel, you get a front-row seat to the beauty that this enchanted island provides, but you get to feel like a part of the Easter Island family by virtue of Alvaro. We stayed for three days and I could not have imagined a more perfect stay. Alvaro picked us up from the airport, arranged our tour, recommended spots for meals and entertainment, and honestly brought us to tears with his hospitality. If you're looking for a cool, impersonal luxury hotel, go elsewhere, but if you're looking for a place that makes you feel like you're spending the week with your best friend, this is the place for you.

Very nice family. They drove us from the airport and back to the airport.

Pros = excellent location, covered gazebo in the centre is nice and cool if there is wind. Clean.

Con = no AC (not sure how many easter island place have this), very bad wifi (maybe all over Easter Island... my 3G speed on my phone was much faster than their wifi).

Considering how hard I was there, he was very difficult to sleep until very late at night. We had to leave our door and balcony door completely open, with both fans on. One recommendation for the hotel, would be to consider having some AC rooms, at a higher price. At the price point that we paid, despite that it was during high season, I think AC would have made a big difference.

Great Location and Nice Owners

When staying on Easter Island, remember you are in the middle of the Pacific and this is not a beach vacation. This hotel is in a great location, on the main drag in Hanga Roa, with a nice bakery next door. Your on the Island to see the archaeological sites and should appropriately adjust you expectations on most hotels, to its a place to stay and sleep while your not exploring the Island. We would stay there again.

The owners were very friendly and attentive to our needs. When you make the reservation, you should send a note to the hotel asking for them to pick you up at the airport (free). On the ride from the airport, the owners adult son drive through Hanga Roa and show you around. He will also take the time to review the national park map and provide you tips for seeing the Island.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have multiple kitchens for guests to use, with tables in the kitchens and tables outside. We would walk to the bakery in the morning and get some hot out of the oven rolls and make some tea and enjoy the start of our morning outside.

Remember, you're on an island

Being that Easter Island is one of the most remote destinations in the world, I was very pleased to have stayed at a place in which I felt welcomed. The Manager, Alvaro (remember his name) took the time to give me some advice on what I should do on my very brief stay on the island, as well as sitting down and having a talk with me. I traveled to the island alone and for only a quick visit, so to me, his service was immensely helpful. The room was more than what I needed, and that I had access to Wi-Fi even for the times I did (in such a far off place I didn't expect it) was just icing on the cake. Take the time to consider what it is you really need at such a destination before you choose where to stay. As for me, I will recommend this place to everyone I know, and if I ever make it back, I'll stay here again without hesitation.

It's on par to a private hostel really - as in bring your own shampoo, don't look too closely at the bedding and ignore the ants. While the website says a tub shower combo it was just a tiny standup stall. The positive is that the location is central to everything. It is surrounded by other hotels though so the central part is true of most places. You can walk to all kinds of restaurants, the waterfront, parks, the post office, the museum, and even one of the main moai spots (Tahai). The biggest negative for me was the towel situation. I can take a bit of dirt and bugs - we are on an island after all so some of that is just expected but the towels... We'd hang them up and they'd take them and mix them up on a rack outside of the room. Yes - outside. I don't know about you but I am not a fan of communal towels. Call me territorial, but I'd like to know I was the only one who used it. I have no problems reusing my towel - it was just the mixing the three up that was frustrating. In the end - you aren't there to hole up in the room so if this is cheaper than others and you're ok with a bit of dirt, it'll be fine.

We stayed there only for one night, and we do not know much about the hotel, but the owner family, who are living in a house behind the hotel, were friendly. WiFi was OK. There is a shared kitchen (one for every three rooms), and free coffee, tea, and so on in the kitchen.

Great location and the staff were wonderful. Picked up and dropped off at the airport, the room was a great value and the outdoor landscape was beautiful. Alvaro gave me great suggestions for touring the island. I was traveling solo and enjoyed my stay immensely! Met a lot of great people. You have to go down the road (per Alvaro's suggestion) and try the tuna and cheese empanadas!!!!
