Wonderful experience - fantastic staff and service at this “oasis” - the restaurant was wonderful, the pool was refreshing after each day of touring, the staff helped arrange our extra tours and even arranged a rental car for us.

Only downside - roosters wake you up early! About 5:15 each morning!

Amazing stay in a lovely, quiet property. Incredible and personalised service from day one from all the staff. Rooms very specious in a house set up, nice and cosy pool. We booked a half board package and dinner at restaurant excellent and big portions, friendly service. The package included private tour per day (with snacks and drinks) which was a great plus considering tour prices on island. Also pick up and drop off at airport. Definitely a great property to enjoy the island and totally recommended

The folks who greeted me at the airport (Tommas), all the people in reception especially, Daniel; who made check in and my stay FAB-u-lous.
I don't know the names of the restaurant staff, however, they offered GREAT personal service. THE food was so enjoyable, along with organically quality! The atmosphere is so pleasant. I could of hung out and ate my day away.
My day trip around the island with Hanga (probably have misspelled his name) was educationally informative, fun, and great conversationalist.

If you plan your trip to Rapa Nui, this is the place to stay - they will take care of all your needs!
We absolutely loved how we were treated as family from the very moment we arrived. We did private tours following the concierge recommendations and had the best of time- also the hotel always asked us what snacks and drinks to pack had chairs, ponchos, umbrellas in case we needed them. The tour guides Teata and David were absolutely delightful and took amazing care of us! The restaurant food was pretty tasty and they accommodated all our dietary needs. Loved the garden - we relaxed on the porch every evening enjoying it!

I requested room 9, which has more privacy. The hotel informed me they could not guarantee I requested in advance for room 9 which had more privacy. The hotel informed me they could not guarantee the request. When I arrived, there were 4 vacant rooms and I was assigned to the nosiest one, room 2. The room was next to the main road and I could hear the traffic in the room day and night!! I could understand not getting room 9 as requested, but I was disappointed that the hotel paid no attention to my preference and put me in the nosiest room. It showed that they did not care.

The price is too high for this property.
I did NOT get value for my money.
Only one shower towel and on the thin side. Should be plush for a 5star property.....and generous with 2-3 towels.
Very negative behavior was that a housekeeper came into the bungalow unannounced, no knock!!! Just walked in, no greeting, opened some cabinets, departed. Strange, unwelcome and very uncomfortable for a guest.
The breakfast was mostly a good selection but some aspects could be improved.
One morning the scrambled eggs were totally watery, undercooked ........ and another day they were almost rock hard!!!
The tomato slices were ripe and tasty but the avocado was NOT ripe!!! What sense does it make to serve hard, unripe avocados or any food??????
Although the property wants to respect and honor the natural setting, they should rethink the small boulder sticking up in the middle of the bathroom floor area!!! How many guests have walked into it or fallen???? Injured??
Seems dangerous and a big liability risk!!!!!!

Unique property in a quiet part of the island. The rooms are lovely and the beds some of the most comfy I have slept in. The rooms have a/c and terraces with good views. Two rooms share a central area where there are tea and coffee facilities and a large table and chairs; It is supposed to promote a family vibe in the property but doesn’t really work as a concept.

The restaurant was really fabulous. The food fresh and delicious. Breakfast is served from 8am and is of a good quality. Ask for an espresso if you like good coffee for breakfast if not you will get instant! Also it is worth taking ear plugs as the cockerels will wake you early. This is not unique to this hotel though!

All the staff were lovely. Helpful and delighted that you are staying with them.

Would stay here again and recommend highly to others.

The room was cleaned with liquids that smelled like gasoline or petroleum that caused nausea and severe vomit. Had to move out of the hotel as all rooms smelled the same and the hotel refused to refund the 4 night deposit.

Will never stay here again and will not recommend it either. The hotel did not offer a healthy environment to stay at.

The property and rooms were beautiful. We had lunch at the restaurant which was very good as well as the buffet breakfast. The wait staff were all excellent, engaging and spoke English. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the robe and slippers. We arranged ahead for transport from the airport from the hotel. The only negative was the driver was late and we were not able to reach the hotel by phone.

We was there for our wedding and was so pleased with every second of our stay. We never stayed anywhere before that treated us more like a family member than a customer. The staff generally seemed interested in our life’s and how our experiences on the island was.

Hare Noi is an exceptional place to stay on Easter Island. I mistakenly thought it was a little out of the way so i’d only booked to stay 2 nights before moving to a Coastal Hotel - 100% wish I hadn’t. Hare Noi is the best place to stay on the Island. The staff are fantastic, the food for breakfast and dinner was great and the setting is fantastic. The staff can’t do enough for you, they happily arranged my car hire and even contacted the company to extend for a couple of days on my behalf. I wouldn’t usually do this but a special thank you to both Consuela and Andrea. If in Easter Island - stay at Hare Noi, you won’t regret it.

The property had lush gardens with mature, large palms, flowers and plants which were immaculantly groomed. The buildings were designed using natural elements like giant tree pieces for the pillars, lava and rock accents, driftwood and organic enhancements. Beautiful! The rooms were modern with double sinks , air conditioning, fans, crispy sheets and comfortable bedding. Staff was extremely friendly and detailed oriented. Had a massage which was exceptional. The restaurant was beautiful in design with a good variety of food choices.
This property is a bit out of town but the staff ordered cabs and there was no problem getting around. If you are looking for an organic quiet retreat, this is the place.

The hotel only has nine rooms, six of which are up the hillside with views of the water/ocean, so is truly 'boutique'. Rooms are spacious with full amenities. they're organized into three units of three rooms each, with a common area and veranda for room occupants to use as desired. The property also has probably the best restaurant on the island - I ate there most nights and the service, quality, and ambiance were superb. The staff were extremely friendly and I returned from my trip having made several new 'friends' among them. I intend to tell all I know that if they are planning a trip to Easter Island (Rapa Nui in the Rapanui language) the ONLY place to stay is the HARE NOI.

Very lovely property with nice and helpful staff. Accommodation and grounds were very peaceful and unique. Only critique I have is possibly using screens in the restaurant. Open air ventilation is nice but with that, it also brings insects. I was constantly swatting around my food and it certainly took away from the experience a bit. This property is abou 5mins outside of town on the southeast side of island. I loved that it is away from town center (20 mins walking distance) and is so quiet and beautiful. The property is full of beautiful blooms and trees and there are chickens running around, we saw some baby chicks running, so cute. There are several “houses” and each contains a shared space and 2-3 guest rooms, so it was kind of nice that we got to know the other couple who were in the same hut as us and we went to see sunrises together. The staff are absolutely amazing, and the restaurant is by far my favorite part of the stay. The food has 5 star hotel quality yet the price is honestly the same as what you would get in the town center. Breakfast was included for us and they freshly bake the pastries every morning and they are the best I have ever had. I could live here.

We spent 6 nights here and our experience overall was very good. Located slightly out of town, the hotel consists of very well appointed cabins each of which shares a common area. The rooms were nicely furnished, very clean and well stocked with linens, shampoo etc. maid service was very good.

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was very good; we arranged to include it in our rate although many others chose full board—I would take advantage of a number of good restaurants in town and leave the hotel grounds.

We rented motor scooters and explored the island. We had a 1 day tour with a tour sponsored by the hotel which was helpful for background information on the Rapa Nui culture.

Can't agree more with one of the previous reviews which said \"really the one thing that sets apart a great establishment from a good one is the attention of the staff and the quality of the comfort. \"

We had a few communications with the hotel prior to arrival and all questions were answered in a timely manner, which was very comforting to someone traveling to somewhere so remote for the first time.

From the point where we were greeted at the airport, to the point that we left, the staff paid close attention to our needs and made us feel very welcomed. We would especially like to thank Andreas, who was really kind to accompany us downtown to get sunburn treatment. When a hydrocortisone cream could not be found at the local pharmacies, Andreas took the trouble to find aloe vera leafs for us...Such care and help really made our stay a truly enjoyable one.

Gorgeous setting and professional, friendly staff

This hotel is now called Hare Boutik and is no longer part of the Noi Hotels group. We were worried as this change happened right before we arrived, but everything was fine and seems to be the same quality as before. The only major difference is that the restaurant was not open (apart from the wonderful breakfast buffet for guests), which was disappointing because it had great reviews. It is supposed to open again.
The setting is a few minutes outside of the main road in the town, which is nice. It was good to have a rental car but really it's not too far and easy to take taxis. The hotel has bikes for guest use and it's easy to bike around. The room was comfortable and the decor is nice. There were robes and slippers provided. There was a fan, refrigerator, and hair dryer. The room size is average but the shower stall is huge. The bed was very comfortable There are screened doors on the patios with chairs: very nice to watch the sunsets. All but one of the cabins is not attached to a common living room/kitchen area (two rooms share one common area). The common areas are very big, though, and really gorgeous: I don't think it would be less private to have one of those rooms as long as the people in the other room were considerate with noise levels. There was an extremely friendly, well-behaved and sweet dog who hung around our cabin. It was nice to give him some love while we lounged around.

Boutique hotel, with many small niceties: nice room with view to the sea, comfortable bed, pleasant mint-scented personal care items, good restaurant, friendly staff. Each house has two rooms with a comfy living space in between. Appreciated the fact that there was no TV in the room and that internet connection was poor everywhere in the island (perfect for disconnecting...).
I do recommend this hotel!

This is a fantastic hotel, we stayed for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and it really helped make our visit to easter island. We arrived at the hotel without any pre made plans / tours and the hotel staff were more than helpful in providing suggestions of what we might like to do, the reception staff gave us helpful information and the guys in the restaurant (Diego and Ignacio) gave us lots of useful tips. We ended up hiring a car for one day from the town (5 mins by bike), this is by far the best way to see the island. It cost around £45 for the day and you can see all of the major spots on the island in one day (we managed to visit sights when tour buses hadn't arrived...really making the major sites beautiful). The other day we hiked up the nearby volcanic crater. A lovely walk through a jungle-esq setting. We were half board at the hotel and all of the meals were delicious. The room was clean, spacious and modern and we would highly recommend staying here when visiting Isla de Pascua!

Most Overpriced Hotel in 40 Years of Traveling

For $550 a night we got a room with no view. No air conditioning so to get the room even close to comfortable you need to open the window to let in some air along with mosquitoes because the window has no screen. Breakfast was brown water they called coffee, tasteless fruit and inedible (I know hard to do) eggs.

The resort does not have any a/c or screens for the windows and doors which makes hot and humid summer days unbearable especially with the massive mosquito population. The design of the room with the rock in the vanity area is a safety hazard. The shared common area is a wasted space unless you are a party of four and you can use the unit as a suite.

Excellent hotel in a remote corner of the world

The first thing one needs to remember is that Easter Island is very remote, and therefore, getting first-world comforts comes at a premium. The second thing to remember is, that because of this, everything on the island is expensive.

So given that we're spending so much money getting to Easter Island and staying there, really the one thing that sets apart a great establishment from a good one is the attention of the staff and the quality of the comfort. From the point where we entered the hotel premises, to the point that we left, the staff paid close attention to our needs, even anticipating some when we were going to \"wing it\" (e.g. waiting at the entrance early in the morning with a packed breakfast because we wanted to watch the statues in the sunrise hours). I would especially like to mention the friendliness of Alejandro (sp?), just a great guy to talk to about a lot of things to do with the island. The three of us (couple + infant) definitely felt very welcomed at the hotel; more than any other hotel we have ever stayed at.

We plan to return to Easter Island, and would love to stay here again.

Unfortunately due to a mix up the pick up team left us at the airport and took the other guests back to the hotel. Thankfully another company called the hotel to have them come back for us. Once we arrived at the hotel grounds the staff were incredibly helpful. Wifi at this location is very slow. The stand out of our visit was the 1/2 day and full day excursions led by local guide Jo-Jo. He was brilliant and we enjoyed learning about his culture and traditions.

While the grounds and rooms are beautiful and there are many services provided, our cabana sits on a hill facing the afternoon sun and our room hits 86F, 30C, from 5 to 10 pm making it extremely unpleasant. No air conditioning. It's really ruined the trip.

Peaceful but not Perfect

The previous reviews are all accurate . The hotel and grounds are lovely and it is a great place to disconnect from the world. There is no wifi in the rooms, no tv, no a/c, no fan, no window screens, and no appliances in the kitchen community room (not even a coffee maker). There is wifi in the restaurant, but it closes at 10:30pm. The hotel staff are very nice and attractive, but if you are in need of assistance in planning your excursions, you need to ask in detail for the information. If you are looking for a spa, there are minimal spa features. It is pretty grass roots, carry your own luggage to your cabana. As for hotels on the island, it is one of the nicer ones. Just don't be shocked by the price and don't expect typical amenities for a hotel of this caliber such as turn down service, lavish breakfast, afternoon reception, or a stocked mini bar.

Best on Easter Island

We stayed four nights at Hare Noi and it was wonderful. Even more so given the limited choices on Easter Island.

Nothing is cheap on the island, but at Hare Noi you get real value for money. The accommodation is spacious, scrupulously clean (as opposed to much of the rest of the island), and set in separate bungalows set into the hillside around a lovely pool.

The restaurant provides good and tasty food all day long, again setting a base standard above others.

We arranged our outing through the hotel and were escorted around the whole island, saw everything, carefully explained, and with scrumptious picnic lunches.

Whilst not cheap, (nothing is on the island), we definitely felt we received good value for money, right from the initial airport pickup to the final drop off.
