Liked, Great location.

Disliked, poorly maintained bathroom. Loose floor tiles, small shower Curtin which allowed the floor to become soaked. No drinking cups. The faucet in the bathroom sink was missing a part allowing water to soak the countertop.
Very uncomfortable!!

Location was excellent. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was very convenient. Bathroom was less than ideal. Sink drained very slowly. Toilet did not flush properly (ran continuously each time it was flushed until handle was jiggled just right), and clogged with first (and only) BM. Plumbing in shower was loose, but water pressure was good and shower was clean. Perhaps newly opened/transitioning owners with big upgrades planned? I did look at possibly staying there in a few months, and rates were listed as almost $500 per night!! I chose this hotel based on current rate and location, and it was a decent value for the price relative to other hotels in the area, but I would have been appalled had I paid over $200.

A bit difficult to find a parking space, the sink didn't work too well by not draining, and the toilet handle needed to be pushed up after use. Aside from those things though it was good!

The room and hotel were very outdated and felt more like an old, worn-down Holiday Inn than the property we expected. When we turned on the bathroom fan, it struggled to start, made an extremely loud high-pitched screeching noise, and was caked with dust. The shower water never got properly warm and remained cold throughout our stay. The windows were dusty, and the heating/air conditioning unit was also covered in dust. On top of that, the room had a noticeable musty, mildew-like smell. Overall, the property appeared poorly maintained and in need of significant updates and cleaning.

It’s like they bought an old Holiday Inn and didn’t update anything since then. It’s giving “ghost of Holiday Inn” vibes, but it was little things that just didn’t feel complete: they closed the pool (understandable) but just whited out over the plastic signs, the two beds in our room had mismatched pedestals and different duvets, the biggest towels were hand towels, doors were painted over either thick gloopy brown paint, the key card didn’t work, the once conference rooms have white paper covering the doors, the big tv in the entry just spins a message about no WiFi. . . The worst was that we paid $302 with Expedia online prepay for one night (state track meet weekend) and I heard the guy at the desk tell someone on the phone that they had plenty of space and it was $190 with tax for the same night.

We have stayed at this property back when it was Holiday Inn. In general the property was run down and not maintained. The common areas were not clean and damages to walls, trim, etc. were in every hallway we were in. The room was pretty good with the exception of the bathroom. There were stains around the toilet from an obvious leak. All of the floor tiles were loose. The tub faucet was not attached properly to the wall and the spout was not even against the wall.
With that said the location to downtown is excellent and it was probably a fair value compared to the Hampton/Hilton up the street. Oh, and my car had been damaged overnight in the property's parking lot out front.

We stayed 2 nights and were overall disappointed. Property inside seemed a bit run down and not well maintained. Room was fine, but refrigerator didn't work--we realized that after we stored some food so not ideal. Light didn't work in main room, TV was outdated but otherwise was okay. When we returned after our day out the second night, room service had came but only gave us new towels--bed wasn't made, trash wasn't taken out, Kleenex and TP not replaced.. just seemed odd. The trash by the elevator was never changed out and the smell was very obvious. Staff were friendly but we didn't always see them available. Great location, complimentary parking which was easily accessible and check in/out was easy but overall would not stay again.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel because most hotels in the area were booked due to a large event. Both times my room smelt like cigarette smoke and I was placed in a handicap room and the shower was miserable. The water temp is mildly warm and the floors felt dirty walking around bare foot. Location is nice but the hotel needs to be updated and maintained.

Although it was Graduation weekend, the Pearl needs to work on some things. The key card to our room rarely worked, nor did the other 4 we were issued. Finally, we were given a \"Master\" that would open our door every time.
The toilet was running each time it was flushed; the sink did not drain, no hand towels and the shower/tub was dirty and chipped. I did not use it the 4 days I was there...disgusting.
The coffee Kurigs were not replenished, and the front desk was stingy when asked for more.
The TV had no directions and did not turn off with the remote. We had to turn down the volume and cover it with a bath towel for the night.
No extra blankets or pillows.
Parking structure took some time to figure out where the walkway to the hotel was located.

Location was great but for when the Music next door started. I needed to be up very early in The am and decided an early night was in order. I didn’t think there’d be an issue considering the first two nights were quiet. Omg. The bass from the band is etched on my brain. For hours.
It may be done on the other side of the holding but room 207 on a Saturday night hears the whole bass line from every song played. The handle on our toilet was broken. No hand soap. Someone else’s hair was on my bed. However, there was plenty of hot water and towels.

This property is falling apart. The tiles in the bathroom floor have all come up and are loose, which present a tripping hazard. There is mold on the ceiling above the shower. The hotel building itself could use some maintenance. The restaurant was closed (permanently?) and there were random tools in the lobby. Room was clean, parking is free(but not the most convenient) and location in downtown is great. Bottom line: if you are in town for a night for a downtown event, this location is super convenient. Our room was clean and fairly quiet. If you are looking for something with more amenities or will be staying a few nights, I would stay elsewhere. This one is a little rough around the edges, but great for a night.

The lighting in your room is very dark, bulbs are not bright enough to light the room worse in the bath room. I had to call to get toilet paper when we checked in. No coffee available in the lobby and in the rooms they have a few K cups from Mc Donalds, so you will have to walk three blocks to get a coffee in the morning! When I walked in to check into my room the hotel attendant and another guest were arguing, then when I was standing there an older lady walked by and told us all to go to hell. After finally getting to check in, I was told my room wasn’t available. I booked a 1 king bed room 3 weeks before arriving and got there to be told it wasn’t available. I ended up staying and got a room with two double beds for the same price because I didn’t have another choice being that it was almost 1 in the morning. The room was in a no smoking area of the hotel but absolutely reeked of cigarettes. I get that it was a cheaper room but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

This really wasn't a \"10\" but better than what I was expecting and better than an \"8\". It is a dated hotel, in a dated beautiful neighbor but the room was clean, the walls painted nicely and the bed was comfortable. I was on business, I don't know if there was a pool but there were no kids and I didn't mind that at all. It lacked in that I was on the third floor and could connect to internet and the morning coffee was far from good.
