Great place
Roger
My bad, when I made the reservation I didn't ask what how much the pet fee was. They charged me $75 for a one night stay. This was my first and LAST stay at a Hampton. I feel scammed.
Robin
Great place- great staff!
Dean
Breakfast was ok. Hot tub was out of service and the fitness equipment was not in good condition. Lots of freeway noise also. We have had much better stays at other Hampton properties.
James
Propery well maintained rooms clean and in nice condition. Breakfast was good and had plenty of options. Would recommend to anyone in area!! Staff very friendly and helpful!!

Clean, friendly staff, nice hot tub

Floor in shower super slippery. Be very careful. Large globs of a brown glue on the wall of bathroom. Had trouble regulating heat. Staff was very nice.
Jacob
Worked well for our hockey tourney stay
Angela
The staff was so kind.
However, the room was gross. Yucky stuff all over the bed skirt. Stuff all over the floor, like smashed goldfish crackers. It was just not well cleaned.

Clean room, friendly staff

Heater seemed to not be working efficiently. I only stayed in the room one night, and didn't feel like having it assessed at 930 pm when i made it to the room. Overall the hotel was clean, comfortable. I did inform the front desk about the cool temperature so hopefully the next person doesnt experience the cool temperature.
Jessica

The staff were very friendly; the place was clean and had a good variety of breakfast items.
Lance
Traveling with family, arrived late to the hotel and checked in 9:30-10pm for a sports competition the next day. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke. Extremely dissatisfied, will not be staying at a Hampton Inn again.
Debbie
Breakfast good; room cleaning poor
The breakfast staff was wonderful, kept the area clean and constantly refilled the food supplies.
The room staff started with trash under the table between the beds where it stayed the entire week we were there. It was never picked up. Ugh.

I stayed only one night it was very clean, and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and filling.
I had just completed a 24 hr endurance event and I looked it I just completed it when I walked in, but your staff was very helpful and nice. My room was comfortable will stay again next for same event.

Friendly, helpful staff. Large rooms. Good location

We chose it for pool/hot tub. We arrived to find both were down and had been for weeks. Because we booked with Expedia they offered no refund and wouldn’t allow us to cancel the reservation. We were ripped off!
Elias
Every staff was very nice, the only thing is they should mentioned that the pool is out of service on the website.
Josh
Very friendly
Pamela
Didn't realize the hotel allowed dogs. Dog barking early sunday morning in a room. Owners apparently left the building to go to breakfast and left their dog in the room.

Excellent front desk staff. Five stars for them. Breakfast choices were good.
Hot tub was out of order.

I enjoyed the accommodations very well, room was nice, grounds were well kept. I actually left some clothes behind and realized it 2 hours later while traveling back to Georgia. I called the hotel, told them what I'd done and they gathered the stuff up and shipped it to me. Very grateful.
Vicky
Great shower great room
Lisa
Staff very welcoming and polite. Room very clean and spacious. Love the coffee bar open and srocked with amenities.
Ajit
A good place, clean and well-maintained. However, there's room for improvement in terms of the somewhat dicey AC system. MOST IMPORTANT, THOUGH, IS THE NEED FOR THE BEDDING TO USE HYPO-ALLERGENIC SHEETS TO AVOID ITCHING, ETC.
Cheryl
It was quiet and easy to check in and out
Daniel
Staff was very efficient and courteous.
john
It was a nice stay
Jenny
The first room they checked me into was never cleaned, beds had been slept in, no toilet paper in the bathroom. Went to front desk, they apologized and gave $25 gift card and a new room. Second room was disgusting, bed spread and who knows what all over, floor had food left behind. Called the front desk had them come to the room to see for themselves, again apologized for the unclean rooms and again checked us into a different room them looked in before handing us the keys. Front desk staff was good about the whole thing.
Donald
It was a very nice stay. Clean room and comfortable beds.

I was given the wrong room that I had previously paid for. They stated they were over booked and downsized my room.

A very relaxing & fun weekend
It was very clean. I even left a message in my room, stating that. Plus a tip, of course.

We have stayed at this location previously, always very happy with it ALL!
Scott
Everything went very well. The staff was excellent.
Lisa
Professional staff and very clean rooms. Comfortable bed and large bathrrom.
Angela
Very close to highway, loud at night and early morning. The beds were very uncomfortable, squeaky and old. The towels need to be replaced, not soft at all and really small in size.
Robert
Stayed on first floor & window did not lock
Sink filled up & drained slowly
Toilet when flushed filled up & drained slowly
Bed made noise when you move on it when trying to sleep
Disappointed for a Hampton Inn and for what I paid for the night

Don’t think I’d go back
The stay was …. Ok. The room itself was comfortable, but the pool area was pretty outdated and the hot tub wasn’t hot. Also, they must cater a lot to traveling sports teams, lots of kids running around. Someone above is pacing from 1:30-2:30am? The shower was great!
Thomas
Great check in
Greg
Hi
Kari
First time at the Onalaska location. They're wonderful there!
Marion
Great! Very roomy and spacious
Robert
Everything was very nice. The only bad thing was the toilet paper holder was coming off the wall, but it wasnt a problem for us.
Jeanna
Everything seemed fine upon check in until I started using the room, specifically the bathroom. It looked clean at first glance but then I started to notice hairs that weren’t mine all over the shower, and strange stains that almost looked like dried blood on the bathroom door!
I’ve already spoken to front desk about it and they said they’ve had problems with their housekeeping staff. Not really reassuring.
Pool was average, hot tub was not very hot and not very bubbly.
Also whoever was above me was stomping so loudly it was hard for me to sleep. I had to call front desk twice (after 10 pm which are supposedly quiet hours). If I had known it was so noisy I would’ve stayed at the downtown La Crosse location, which I am at now since the Onalaska location was sold out.
Given the price I paid, paid way too much for this room and expected better being a Hampton. I’ve stayed at many Hampton Inns in the past, and that one was one of the worst. Downtown La Crosse is much better, and staff is much more friendly.

Decor was updated and unique.

Construction near property makes getting there a challenge. Other than that, everything was great
Autum
Very well updated rooms and property. The building itself is an older hotel, but the inside is clean and well re-done. Carpet in the rooms is a little dingy and could be replaced, but overall very clean room. Could use new pillows for the bed, but overall bed and bedding looked clean. I am pretty picky when it comes to hotels. It was a nice place to stay and for the price even better. Microwave and mini fridge in the room.

Nice area.

Bathroom floor is sloped so water runs from walk in shower into the bathroom. Made a big puddle in middle of bathroom. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.

Overall the property was nice, clean, and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was amazing. There was a tournament in town with lots of kids. She ran nonstop making sure there where towels in the pool area. Could have used another staff member that evening. She was super friendly and kept a smile on her face. The only complaint I would have is the pool was really cold. Other than that our stay was great.

Great location close to shopping. Room was clean. The rooms were quiet except for the children jumping in the floor above us which is understandable and wasn't a concern/bother to us. Hot tub was very enjoyable. The front desk is sometimes unattended with a plaque stating that the workers are off supporting other customers.

Great stay

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, most areas seemed updated. The hours for the pool and hot tub were reasonable. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable!

Rachele
Modern, clean, well kept hotel with an excellent breakfast, nice amenities (pool, gym, laundry), and helpful, friendly staff.
Tammy
Clean and quiet. Bathroom door didn’t lock and lock was broken on inside room door

Nice rooms, very clean and modern. We stay in Onalaska 3-4 times a year and I think we found our new place to stay. Only downside was internet wasn’t the best.

When the door lock battery dies.....
Staff member was great! I had no remote for TV. Got a new one. Door lock battery died. A first for me. Desk staff fixed it fast. A+ for staff!!

The air conditioning and heat would remain on wouldnt set all the time - so it either kept getting colder and colder or hotter and hotter. Looked like the “set” button was missing? Shower was dirty, hair on the towels, fridge had food smears, and sheets wouldn’t stay around the corners of the bed even when I tried to fix it.
Breakfast, whirlpool, and front desk staff were nice though.

They can do better
Okay for short stay. We stayed 6 days. Don’t bother getting the largest king suite, it’s half empty. Apparently used to have a large whirlpool tub. Gone now but didn’t bother to put anything in its place. There’s a reason why they post pictures of these suites from only one side of the room. I’m posting the other side of the room in my review.
There’s no coffee table nor any small table to eat on if you get food delivered, takeout or want a snack. Which you tend to do within 6 days. No maid service the entire time. Bed became such a mess with duvet over a comforter. Finally took duvet off.
Window heat\air unit said to use thermostat on wall. Thermostat on wall said it didn’t work and to use window unit.
Our suite was next to stairwell on third floor. Don’t go there (#301). You will hear heavy metal door slams all night & day long. An that’s in Addition to the loud highway. And if you do, be careful if you lean back in desk chair.
Our grandkids are in Onalaska so we are there often. Will be taking a look at other options next time.

Amazing property! We will definitely be back!

Normally I stay here and it’s a pleasant experience. This time it was loud with other families were up late in the hallway and there was also a loud running toilet that woke me up on and off throughout the night.

Rooms were clean and in order. Would be nice to have local papers or restaurant hard copy options available to check out. Hot tub jets weren’t working and no towels at the pool.

We had to look for a last minute room since the hotel we originally booked was full. I am glad we booked the Hamptons after experiencing unprofessional service at the hotel we originally booked. Checking in at Hamptons was easy and smooth. The clerk was respectful and helpful. The room was clean and breakfast had a good variety to choose from. Even though it cost us more than we originally planned, I'm glad we stayed at the Hamptons.

Friendly front desk, clean rooms and choice of eating places close by.

Dirty towels were left in my room and I requested a call from the manager because there was not one on duty. I never received any call or acknowledgement from the manager of this property.
