When I checked in the woman working was sitting eating lunch(which is fine) but she seemed irritated that I walked in and needed to check in. I asked when I checked in if I could get a room on the second floor. I was told no due reserving through a third party. At 9:40pm I received a phone call stating she had spoken to her manager and they cleaner it for me to move rooms. I declined and went back to bed. The next day I was I walking through the lobby and walked by the staff member and said “Hi”, she looked at me like I punched her in the face. The room I had was the last room on the hall next to an exit door. The room was extremely close to the highway and the noise from the trucks was quite loud. The people upstairs can be heard walking around. It reminded me of being in an apartment. For the 2 nights I was there I only got about 10 hours of sleep. The woman at check out was extremely nice and pleasant to talk to.
Heather
Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable- it is not anything extra. Breakfast was as good as most- standard waffle maker, pastries.
Vickie
Overall the property was clean however the room had an odor. Free breakfast was the standard with waffles available. Had to request staff to refill items that were out. Staff did so with kindness and respect.

Clean room and property, good breakfast and easy access to restaurants
Nancy
The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. Giving a 3 because the shower didn't drain and was slippery, the TV is dated and coffee was only okay. Breakfast was okay. There are lights around the building and one was shining right into our room. Our room was right next to the highway.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Our room was by the breakfast area and it was very noisy. No way you could sleep good but luckily we needed to be up early and get going. Nice variety for breakfast if you eat carbohydrates so being gluten free/keto we were happy they had scrambled eggs and sausage.
Greg
Front desk was friendly and had a great conversation with him . Only issue sink was backed up in my room when I checked in , went to desk and got another room . Would certainly stay there again .

Donna
Nice staff, clean room. Some rooms are a bit dated, but all in all a nice enough place.
Cynthia
Friendly staff, clean spacious room, larger than normal TV, cable channels & local news

Older hotel
Tou
Check in process was good, rooms were clean. The only complaint is that the bathrooms are a bit on the smaller side. Shower heads were a bit plugged so the water sprayed in every direction, the shower drain drained out very slow. I’d recommend giving this little thing much needed attention. Besides that, the rooms were very satisfying.
Thomas Jerome
Clean room along with the rest of the hotel and great staff

I absolutely love the staff they are always so welcoming!!!!!!
Todd
good value, good location, near restaurants and quick access to interstate. A little dated but comfortable

All of those categories stood out and this is why it is my favorite hotel to stay at in LaCrosse. The location is also good for what i come here for. The staff is very friendly.

Breakfast had both a waffle and a mini pancake maker. It did take a while to cook and refill the eggs tray.
Clean, well-lit room with plenty of closet space and a cushioned bench to sit or lay your 2nd suitcase.
Friendly staff; quick check-in.

Bed was stiff and hard felt like sleeping on concrete, felt like i had a hard lump stabbing my back. Shower water pressure was nothing more than a trickle.

Senior Couples Getaway
The room and bathroom were clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast area was well stocked and there were a number of choices to please everyone. One thing is there should be a garbage can by the waffle irons so their dirty cups could be disposed easily. I don't know how the breakfast lady could keep up with everything as there a few groups there. She was not able to take time to welcome people or have short conversations, which is disappointing. Also there was no Sugar Free syrup available for the waffles. I did enjoy the Cinnamon Roll waffles.

Breakfast was very good. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable room. Fridge cool but not cold. Good water pressure. Walls paper thin - hard to sleep when you can hear everything from people walking in the halls to rolling over in bed in the room above. Breakfast was okay but not special. Decent for overnight but definitely not recommended for longer stays.
Tiffany
Great budget friendly option. Friendly service and always clean and comfortable.
Katie
This is our second time staying for sports tournaments. While pool is a tad small the price is great, has free breakfast and within walking distance to restaurants.

Great stay for the price. Always clean and staff is friendly. If what you're looking for is a place to lay your head for the night and don't need a lot of extras, it's perfect.
Courtney
Friendly service

Conveniently located and excellently run
Anna
Staff were very kind, had a good breakfast, had food nearby on Christmas, and we got laundry done. Would stay again.
Jessica
Nice staff, clean rooms. Great price.
Jim
OK place for a night, decent breakfast
Check in was a little weird...it took a while because I went through a third party and their computer didn't like it. The room was fine, could have been quieter, and I didn't like being on the first floor.

Easy on and off the interstate makes it a good pick for us.

Hotel itself was fine, it’s what you’d expect. Breakfast options were good. Hotel was clean. Really disappointed though that the price we paid for a king room, it was right off of the breakfast area/pool. We heard every sound, noise, voices, etc. even with having the fan running constantly and trying to drown out the sounds with a sound machine we were still awoken numerous times. I really think if this is the only room left you should be made aware before you book.
Beth
It was a great stay. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Unexpectedly nice
Chose this place based off of positive reviews. Best consistent positive reviews out of all hotels in Onalaska and lacrosse. Nice, updated, and clean. Great parking and location. Staff is nice. Very impressed by the free breakfast. Great food, great options, and clean. Beds are comfortable and rooms were extremely clean and so were the bathrooms. Truly clean bathrooms are hard to come by. I definitely felt safe and secure here. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future travels through this area as long as they keep up with things. Walked over to the Japanese sushi and hibachi restaurant right next-door. Great place and great staff there as well.

It was ok
Hotel was comfortable enough. It's old and outdated and kind of smells like smoke. It's out of the way. It was nice that the bedding for the pull out coach was already in the closet. Breakfast was very crowded, only a few tables to sit at so we didn't get to take advantage of it.
Sandra
The people checking me in and out were nice and efficient. The room was fairly updated. Good sized room and bathroom. The only downfall was the location of the hotel. While convenient to the highway, it was next to the highway. Thank God the heating/cooling unit in the room had a continuous fan button to help drown out the highway noise. Would recommend.
Scott
Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The pool was a bonus for the kids to play in.
LoAnn
Although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of smoke when we walked in. The desk person said it was because staff smoked outside the back door below our room. She could not give us another room.

Location
Debra
The only negative was noise from freeway
Thomas C
Great location.

Clean, safe accommodations. Great staff. Miss GG moved me to a quieter room on the second floor. She was very cordial. Give her a good raise. The hotel corporation can afford it. Again, a nice place to stay and a friendly, professional staff.
