They are in the midst of remodeling, so one would hope some of the issues would resolve with completion of that project. Our original handicap room had a leaking showerhead and a wet bathroom floor upon our arrival. Once the maintenance person stopped the drip, there was no water to the shower at all and we were moved to a different room. Front desk staff were responsive to our problem and fortunately were able to place us in another ground floor room or it would have proven challenging.

Construction clutter was noticeable but couldn’t be blamed for all of the cleanliness issues we encountered. Seating in the lobby area was absolutely disgusting. We chose to stand.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. The lunchtime service on the patio was very slow even before a rainstorm that blew through, but it was the Fourth of July so that may not be the norm. Our food was good, though, and portions were generous.

The patio/beach area was nice. The beach area was good-sized and sandy and the availability of the docks was great for our pontooning day.

They’re under a remodel so that was not counted against them. The pool was amazing for the kids and so was Moxies! We unfortunately were not in a recently renovated room but our friends were and it looked great! Ours was not bad though. Breakfast was good for us and it’s free so not sure why people gripe. Our frustration falls with the owners and their lack of communication and the lack of description in the rooms. We booked a deluxe after calling the hotel since the description was non-existent and the pictures the same as the others. We were told there was a pull out bed and more space and that was not the case. Tried to talk with the manger’s who have not responded.

The sheets in our first room were dirty, and it had a view of a parking lot filled with old mattresses stacked up, dumpsters and trash. Second room was better, with a better view, but the sink was clogged. After maintenance's repeated attempts, they simply gave up. Everything just felt dirty. Even the rooms being remodeled didn't seem like they were going to be great quality - for the price this hotel asks you to pay.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. The front desk man was rude upon arrival and acted as though he was inconvenienced to check us in. The room was very dirty, stains and finger prints all over, and hairs in the “clean” shower. Parking was terrible, especially after we got back from dinner. The pool area is older and in need of updating, but our child did have a lot of fun. This hotel is not worth the price! Very thankful we only stayed one night.

They are currently under construction and may rooms aren’t occupied at the moment but we would definitely come back. The outdoor area is the best part of the hotel. They have outdoor seating, beach volleyball, and are right on the water. It don’t feel like we were in the middle of a city staying here. The rooms were updated and staff was friendly.

There was 6 of us and 5 got their meals, server had to put in for the last one again. Everyone was done eating by the time I got mine. The burger was not even done and not good. We asked for more towels so we had enough for morning showers and was told we couldnt get unless we exchanged the dirty ones for new. The pool area was nice for the kids but water was pretty cold for a heated pool. Also the tv remote did not work to turn it on. I realize they are going to remodel it said but maybe they should not use rooms that are so disgusiting. Was very disappointed. The lady at the desk was nice, but the man on duty not so much.

Let’s start with the good: we were able to get an early check in, it was pretty clean and it was conveniently located to stores and food.
The bad: The bed was so uncomfortable I hardly slept, they apparently were working on something water related and shut the water off at 8am-however nothing was said to us and so my husband did not get a shower, the continental breakfast left a lot to be desired-absolute bare minimum provided.
We have family in the LaCrosse/West Salem area and we will not likely be back to that hotel.
