There's some very small things that could significantly improve the experience. In my case: the TV asks for a code which is not available anywhere. The shower has a heater with exposed wires and it starts smoking after some time; this is HIGHLY dangerous and the installation doesn't look safe at all. Not enough power outlets. One of the bed lamps burned out.

We liked our stay here. The breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and adequate. The one thing we didn’t like was that when they clean the rooms they use some cleaning chemical or spray which left a super strong odor in the room. Otherwise things were great.

What a great stay!

The hotel is like a little resort with beautiful gardens. Each room has a hammock outside and there’s a very peaceful feeling to it. The bed was super comfortable (more comfortable than certain 5stars hotels I stayed in) and the pool is nice and clean, facing the water. The staff was very helpful with finding good restaurants.
I highly recommend this hotel for the quality/price.

We were only at this hotel for a night while we stopped over on our road trip from Rio to Sao Paulo. We were very well received and the staff was friendly. The hotel itself is basic but charming. The location is great with a short walk to old town and even the nearby beach.

Prettiest spot in town.

Surprisingly great! Get a 1 st floor room and enjoy a cuppa on the large balcony watching the canal activity. Most of the pousadas have no aspect/view with high walls enclosing them from outside, so we soon realised why people walking on the otherside of the canal were taking photos of the pretty pool and green gardens setting of the Corsario. 5 mins walk to bus station, and 5 mins walk to the busy old town to go to bars and restaurants. Simple but perfectly fine breakfast, they make fried eggs if you ask. Great value.

Great location and view

The hotel has a great location - very close to the bus station and the old town. The garden, pool, and river view are great. Breakfast is very good, and the breakfast room overlooks the river. The only problems: Room decor is \"rustic\". The AC is noisy. No WiFi connection in the room - you have to go sit near the pool. No English channels on the TV. Other than that we enjoyed our stay in Paraty and in this hotel, and I would definitely stay there again.

No good selection for many reasons

The rooms do not have good air conditioning, lighting is not good. Also, rooms do not have good cable channels very few and do not offer the main tv channel in Brasil (Globo). At the check in they do not provide your sales receipt ahthough I asked for it.

Recommended hotel

The hotel is located 2 blocks from the main street Av Roberto Silveira and 5 blocks from the Hististoric Downtown (centro histórico).
The staff is ok, but the best of this place is an awesome and very kind lady called Laury, she is always in good mood and offers and excellent service.
The breaksfast is a buffet: eggs, diferents kinds of cheese and breads, coffee, juicie and cereals, really good!
You can relax in the pool and have a nice view to the canal. Also have a sauna working from 17 till 19 hours (not extracharge)
The wifi only works in the common areas. The hotel have also a parking space.

Everything was great. I loved the location of the pool by the river and the room I chose was spacious and relaxing. My only fault with the hotel was the wifi reception. It only works when you are in the restaurant or near the hotel reception area. It never worked in my hote room.

Approach to hotel may not be so appealing, but once you are inside the grounds you are in a tropical garden along a river with individual cabins, great setting, very romantic. Has nice pool with deck and numerous hideouts to enjoy the gardens.

A pousada muito charmosa, com arquitetura, flores e plantas nativas da região fica na beira do canal navegável em Paraty, bem pertinho do centro histórico, tem estacionamento (coisa rara no centro), uma piscina aquecida, excelente café da manhã, uma equipe extremamente atenciosa e a possibilidade de ser buscado de barco no deck da pousada.
Os quartos são confortáveis e tudo funciona perfeitamente bem.

Espaço muito legal e agradavel. A distancia até o centro historico é caminhavel (entre 8-10 min), dispensando carro. Funcionarios super gentis. Estacionamento sempre disponível. Sugiro apenas trocar os colchoes que não estão mais a altura do que é a pousada. Recomendo e ficaria de novo.

Pousada muito bem localizada. Café da manhã com bastante variedade. Cama e travesseiros macios.Funcionários super educados e simpáticos. Destaque para o Ricardo da recepção.Pontos negativos são que o bar da piscina só funciona a partir das 17:00.
As dobradiças das portas do banheiro e entrada e as do guarda-roupa, estão enferrujadas e estão rangendo. No site e no insta a propaganda é de que tem ar condicionado split e na habitação 31 o ar condicionado ainda é o antigo e nem controle remoto tem.

Gostei muito da pousada. Me surpreendeu positivamente. Quarto super limpo e cheiroso, cama boa, ar condicionado split, café da manhã muito bom, atendentes atenciosos. A piscina é muito gostosa e o rapaz que fica no bar atende muito bem. Drinks bons e comida também boa. Apesar de não ter muita variedade no cardápio, tudo q comi estava bom. O paisagismo da pousada é lindo, o que a torna muito aconchegante.
Como sugestão de melhoria, citaria apenas a área de jogos. O espaço é bonito mas precisa trocar os móveis para ficar mais aconchegante e charmoso. No mais, achei tudo ótimo!

Uma das pousadas mais encantadoras que já nos hospedamos. Vista perfeita, jardim impecável e café da manhã de muita qualidade. O quarto super limpo e cheiroso, a pousada é muito bem cuidada. O bar da piscina realmente funciona e os funcionários super prestativos. Único ponto não tão bom, mas relevante é a localização fica uns 7 minutos do centro histórico e 18 da praia (praia não tão boa), mas dá para fazer muita coisa nas redondezas. Recomendo e voltaria!

Todos são muito atenciosos e buscam priorizar o conforto dos hóspedes.
A localização é boa, perto do centro.

1- A limpeza não é impecável, já que ao pegar uma sandália embaixo do armário vimos que estava bem sujo embaixo do mesmo. E também muitas guimbas de cigarro no lado externo abaixo da janela do banheiro.
2- Quadros relacionados a escravidão no quarto. Quadros com essa temática devem ser mostrados e lembrados em museus e outros lugares para reflexão sobre esse triste capítulo da história. Não devem ser banalizados sendo expostos em quartos de hotel onde o hóspede deseja paz para dormir confortável.

A pousada é linda, com muita área verde. O quarto só decepcionou por causa do ar condicionado ser de modelo antigo e fazer muito barulho, no mais tudo como mostrado nas fotos.

A estadia foi boa mas o atendimento não foi empático e simpático. No aplicativo aparecia que como somos usuários Gold do Hoteis.com teríamos late checkout, upgrade de quarto e 01 drink de boas vindas. Nada disso foi realizado e foram rudes em dizer que não haveria disponibilidade para nenhum benefício.

Estadia excelente. Quarto confortável, amplo e limpo. Vista para o jardim e para o braço do mar que passa na frente. Café muito bom e com os cuidados necessários para segurança dos hóspedes por causa da pandemia. Perto do centro histórico que fica a uns 5 quarteirões. É a segunda vez que fico nessa pousada. Vale a pena.

A pousada é maravilhosa!
Tudo limpo e bem conservado,o lugar é calmo,pertinho de tudo (não tiramos o carro do estacionamento pra nada),a piscina do deck além de linda,com os dias de sol fica bem quentinha. Café da manhã variado e farto (amamos a banana da terra com açúcar e canela), atendimento gentil de todos os funcionários, quarto com espaço suficiente para casal, com uma cama confortável e banheiro bem ventilado (ficamos no 16). A pousada é arborizada e colorida com lindas flores (ótimo para as fotos...rs...).
Enfim,gostaria de agradecer a toda equipe da pousada Corsário pelos dias deliciosos que passamos aí.
