Nice place, but it's worth mentioning that only a plant-based breakfast is offered. At least milk and butter should be provided to non-vegetarians.

It is quirky to say the least. Very nice but quirky. Do not expect a “normal hotel decor “. There is a lot of individuality and personality. Great for vegans as the breakfast is Vegan but that means no butter, no milk, no yoghurt, no eggs. But as far as vegan food, it was good.

An outstanding property! The penthouse is HUGE and fantastic value for money. I was very lucky to get it, as it is almost always booked out. Owner is a beautiful lady, who looks after the property and guests equally well. The breakfast was included, another tick. I don=t think I have ever had better value for money.

The stay and service at the Goat and Goose Bed and Breakfast was one of the best weekend aways my partner and I have had. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the attention and kindness of the owner is something you won’t find even in a 5 star hotel. The hot breakfast cooked right next to you are delicious a filling. Could not recommend this place enough for your next getaway to Lakes Entrance

Lovely bed and breakfast with a quirky edge to it. We booked 3 rooms and with the use of the communal sitting/breakfast area we felt like we had a whole house to ourselves. Comfortable beds, beautiful views and plentiful supplies with a vegan breakfast supplied. We felt rested and relaxed after a 2 night stay, Lynne was a fabulous attentive host preparing Chinese dumplings on our last morning and very welcoming and kind to our old dog. Highly recommended.

A rustic property as shown in the photos, but clean and comfortable. The hostess is friendly and charming….. and welcomed us with a free bottle of excellent local wine. All breakfasts are vegan which does not make any difference if eating continental. We went with the full eggs, bacon sausage (vegan substitutes) and it was delicious. A great place to relax and enjoy the view! Loved our stay!

We had a lovely stay for one night at the goat and goose,out host met us on arrival.we stayed in the penthouse,which was so spacious very quirky and clean space,the seaview was amazing and the ambience was so relaxing.

We had the most amazing view from our room and balcony. It was not what I expected at all - so many things in the room that we never had to leave! Spa bath, microwave, fridge, outdoor area all to ourselves. It was a lovely end to our car trip that day. So quirky and so comfortable!

We didn’t stay here so I can’t speak for the venue or amenities or anything like that. The owners cancelled our booking on us late the night before we were meant to stay due to ‘covid’, which is fine. I do wonder whether there is a better covid policy than just flat out cancelling but atleast it was the off season and we were able to find last minute alternate accomodation.

On a hillside overlooking 90 mile beach, we find ourselves wondering if we’re in Europe or Victoria. From the instant we arrived the the hospitality was exceptional with daily breakfast and scones from our most friendliest host, Sheree. The sounds of goats, and ocean views through figs and native trees we truly felt like the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne.

Our room had eclectic decor. The TV was on an arm attached to one of the posts of the four poster bed, which was easy to knock one's head on when walking by.
At night time the room had poor lighting, with the only brighter light in the toilet. Continental breakfast was ample.
We were charged an extra $20 at check-in, compared to the amount shown on the Hotels.com booking. When I queried the higher amount I was advised it was a Cleaning Surcharge that didn't show on the Hotels.com website. This left a sour note on an otherwise pleasant stay.
