We loved the new cabin, had a little trouble with the heater, it wouldn't work.
But we managed to get it going late and then again this morning after an hour of trying..
Besides that it was great.

Not totally our fit, but very good

The it's more of a holiday park oriented toward families, than to 2 seniors travelling - it is what it is! We very enjoyed the Lakes area for both food and services. The Big4 was a little further out of the center than we would have preferred, for going for dinner in the evening.

Convenient location and the property was very well maintained. The common facilities (game room, pool, etc.) were really average and the staff could be a tad more friendlier. They’re nice and definitely did their duty well, but we got a sense of wanting to get it over with and move on, than a genuine interest to help.

We arrived just a little late from our last location, but that was no problem for checking in. I called the property and the lady I spoke to was lovely. Checking out was easy too.

The cabin was ample for our needs. If we had cooked there, we would have had everything we needed. But we went out for dinner instead and it's not too far to the restaurants.

The room had cleaning supplies and lots of bed linen. The bathroom was great. There was plenty of storage space if you are planning to stay a bit longer.

There was a movie evening for the kids and a games room which was fun for a little while. We didn't get to try out the playground which looked great. Maybe on our next trip to Lakes Entrance.

Huge let Down.

The worst big 4 I’ve seen, only selected in the internet because of big4 name and that was a huge disappointment. Over priced, nothing to do l, outdated by 20 years playground. Dishes stunk of fish and ruined our food when cooking, frying pan was so bent and buckled it was almost impossible to cook anything except around the edge.

We stayed here for one night. The cabin didn't look like the ones in the photo and we had a bit of difficulty moving the car in and out of the parking space due to the small area. The cabin faced west and of course the western sun belts in through the front sliding doors. The cabin was aged but clean enough, not much room around the bed in the bedroom. The park is not really within walking distance to the marina area or the restaurants and shops.

Good location 1 block back from the foreshore, walking distance to the retail strip. Cabin in reasonable condition, but a few items needed repair and the bunk beds were extremely basic. Good facilities throughout park. Thought the price was a bit high considering the street front advertised price of cabins in other parks was considerably less. Was also disappointed at the significant price increase for each child, even though the cabins are advertised as accommodating 6 and nothing more than an extra towel and soap provided for the cost.

Rooms are too close to each other as we can hear next room as if there is no wall. Bed sheets are rough and can be noisy when turning, disturbing the other person sleeping on the same bed. Toilet flushes are very noisy as the rooms are too close to the toilet. Kitchen does not have an oven which was disappointing.

Great overnighter but wanted to stay longer.

We stayed at BIG4 Whiters Holiday Village at the end of a holiday / road trip, it was our last night away.
We are a family of 5 and the unit was very roomy. Comfortable. Lovely. Relaxing.
The facilities at the Big 4 were fantastic, the kids enjoyed the games room and pool very much.
Wanted to stay longer.

Great seaside location

We loved the weekend near the sea and the lakes. Walking down to the pier in the morning and meeting the fishing boats as they come in with their haul. Buying seafood directly from them and then cooking the freshest seafood possible.
Fishing at sunrise, calm serenity at its best.
Big 4 holiday village added to an enjoyable experience, organising our cruise to a winery for lunch. We will definitely be back in the near future.

We had a garden cottage, which was lovely. everything was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a one night stay including milk for cups of tea, and a washer and dryer inside the cottage. The kids loved the pool and playground, and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

One nighter in Lakes Entrance - needed a locate spot, clean bed and not too expensive during the school holidays. The Big 4 met our requirements. The unit was on the small side but okay for the night. Facilities were clean, pool was good so ticked these boxes.Only issue was that there was little room for clothing and storage of bags which could be a problem for a longer stay

The actual cabin was very roomy and nice.
Double bed instrad of singles for 2 of the kids and they kept fighting and kicking each other until late at night, as they werent used to sharing a bed.
Shower was amazing and hot and good stream of water. Heating lamp in bathroom. Exactly what you want after long day travelling.
We were placed in cabin next to industrial size trash bin, which people kept using at all hours. And was also not a good view to have!
Free wifi was all of 50 megs! Not much browsing here.
The indoor play area was great for the younger kids! So was outdoor play area and shaded bouncy pillow. Pools were cold even with solar hearing. But other facilities like rope climbing area, laser tag and mini gholf were all extra cost, which we didnt realise.
Also one must dispose of own trash (hence massive bin) and take off own linen . Stayed at other Big 4's before and this was a first.

This is a smaller Park consisting of mainly cabins. Very quiet, located Obe Street from the Lakes Entrance shopping and foreshore. We hired a 6 berth cabin for three people for two nights for 290.00. Lounge seating was limited to a three seater sofa. The mattress on the Queen bed was hard and uncomfortable. The bench top edge was chipped, as we're Obe of the walls. I found a face washer jammed into one of the windows, resulting in a stain on the curtain. Staff were lovely.

This visit we were placed in a brand new cabin - well equipped and very nice. Right at the rear of the property so no road noise at all. Once again kids made use of the games room though it was too cold for the pools being middle of winter. Great location central to a number of nearby places to visit.
