This property was very clean which was excellent and the staff were very good, however the decore was very dated and we had burn holes in the bed cover that was covered up by the towels on the bed initially.
However, the old saying “you get what you pay for” rings true as we got the unit at a good rate as it was a last minute decision to go to Lakes Entrance. We will try somewhere else next time we go to Lakes Entrance.

The place was easy and quiet. Which is what I wanted for a quick overnight stay.
The receptionist wasn't overly welcoming. But that I can manage.

Going out for breakfast the next morning and coming back to find my door open and linens on the outside, not so much.

I asked the receptionist what was going on. She advised me that since my car was gone they assumed I had to. Even with the motel key still in my hand..

Great property in a prime location; walk out the door and you are in a very pretty part of Lakes. Sleep quality was good. Staff were highly accommodating and friendly. The place was immaculate in the rooms and the exterior. Only downside was the furniture needs updating; this is minor. But excellent overall. I feel like this property has got a keen eye on making guests feel comfortable. Would stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the property, as we had expected a somewhat rundown motel—but it turned out to be much better than anticipated. The room felt quite new and well-maintained, and the bathroom was impressively spacious—larger than those in many motels or even some 4-star hotels.

The only downsides during our stay were the presence of some rowdy neighbours and a few unruly children running along the walkway, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

Additionally, the person at reception (possibly the owner) could benefit from being a bit more warm and welcoming when interacting with guests on the phone, in particular. A friendlier approach and improved customer service could really enhance the overall experience.

Only a few of the rooms actually have a view to the water. The majority look across to the rooms directly opposite.
The driveway is narrow and you have to go to the end, do a 3 point turn and then backtrack to the entrance.
The table and chairs were wobbly/ squeaky.
The tap in the bathroom sink was so loose as to be almost unusable.
