This place was better than expected. I had requested a two-bedroom accommodation and was fortunate that one was available when we arrived.
Room 10 was lovely — the sofas were extremely comfortable, the décor was beautiful, and the overall space felt very welcoming. We were actually quite sad that we were only staying for one night.

I had an unfortunate experience at this property. The owners, who also do the cleaning themselves, called me after my stay to inform me that I left a few tissues in the room. I found this unnecessary and unprofessional. It would be more appropriate for them to hire professional cleaners rather than contacting guests about minor issues. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I did a road trip trip from Melbourne to Sydney and stayed at Coastal Waters en route. This was easily the cleanest and best appointed of the motels I stayed at. Happy to recommend and will look to stay again when next in the vicinity.

My wife and I spent a 1 night stop over at the the property, arrived late in the day, immediately walked the 15 minutes down the road to the local pub for dinner, departed early morning.
We then discovered 2 days later they unexpectedly charged our account a fee for possibly having food from the mini bar!!
We disputed the matter through email as we did not have anything from the mini bar.
The response from management was they were unsure which room number we were staying in?
Now no reply to our emails from them, we have called and left messages and no reply.
The fee is not high for a piece of food, and i would be more than willing to pay for a consumed item, if in fact we had consumed an item,
it's the principle of the matter, and the fact extra charges were taken from our account without question.

This place is beautifully maintained and it is evident the owners have put a lot of care into it as it is very nicely decorated inside and out and is absolutely spotless. The pool area is beautiful with tropical plants and tables & chairs. I would highly recommend this motel. My only regret was not having another day to enjoy the pool.

An absolutely fabulous accommodation far beyond expectations. From the minute we walked into reception and the greeting from the owner Tracey was so warm and friendly a credit to her. One of the best welcomes, offering warmth and friendliness.
My wife and I and our son were amazed how we felt important and treated in such a fabulous way.

We were pleasantly surprised by everything about our room. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, it was very clean and it felt like home away from home. The lounge area had a big tv and two comfortable recliners and we were encouraged to sit there rather than to watch tv in bed as we often do at other motels. The bathroom was also spacious and very clean, and the shower had good water pressure. I struggled to find anything wrong with the property.

Comfortable room with seperate area with jason recliner to watch tv. Spacious and had provision for heating food with microwave plus some crockery and glasses toaster and kettle. We had king spa room and was at back of property so very quiet away from main street. Short walk to shopping precinct . Only stayed one night but was comfortable and welcoming after long drive. Would stay here again

We were on our 3 days road trip from Sydney to Melbourne via coastal drive and Lakes Entrance was an ideal second stop. Coastal Waters Motor Inn is within minutes to the community center and main beach walk. I was worried that the convenience of the property next to Princes Highway could bring in road noise. Turned out it is well arranged with the solid walls and we had a very good sleep.
We also like their long kitchen table top / workbench and plenty of wall sockets along the bench. TV is large with built in chromcast (its a google tv). Only issue is the relatively weak wifi signal. It probably can be easily upgraded by any of the cheap mesh wifi routers these days.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Spa was great and the separate toilet within the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Plates, bowls and cutlery, along with a microwave and cleaning up supplies meant the room had an element of self-contained convenience. We stayed here twice in 10 days, on the way to and from the NSW south coast. The King room has a separate space with recliners and a large tv, and a small table with two chairs in another space, in addition to the king size bed - this made the already large room feel like an apartment rather than just a hotel room - fantastic.
Both owners seemed to have an issue with us getting a good price via a third party booking partner - it was mentioned 3 times and we felt we had done something wrong.
