No sleep due to event.

Avoid booking this hotel for a Saturday night. They plan events like weddings. The party will go on until the wee hours in the morning. If you went to this hotel hoping to sleep, then you chose the wrong hotel. If there is such an event they will tell you a few days before your stay, so there is no chance of booking hotel where you can actually sleep.
Guest will roam the halls being loud going in and out of their rooms and the DJ will assume only people at the event is at the hotel and crank up the volume. If you complain about this the hotel will shrug and tell you it's not their problem and is out of their control.
Any other day of the week I'm sure it's fine. The breakfast was good.

A beautiful peaceful countryside stay by the forest, I would love to go again but sadly the receptionist lady's behaviour was strange the way she looked at us, like we're not welcomed I love travelling and I visited over twenty countries but never happened this before. I'm not complaining but this is unusual specially on four star hotels.

A nice stay at a classic hotel

The hotel room had a classic aesthetic and was immaculately clean. While there are downsides to classic rooms (few plug sockets, no air conditioning) I appreciated the high ceilings and the space. The sauna in the basement was excellent, and the reduced hours were still generous. Breakfast was pretty good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is on a bus stop, so travelling around is easy (and free). I would encourage the hotel to consider a simpler food option for the evenings - perhaps a pizza oven to make use of the lovely terrace.

Beautiful hotel with some cautionary advise

Lovely location, extremely helpful lady on front desk who spoke very good English. Beautiful spacious room with balcony.
Just two disappointing issues, when using the shower the water would suddenly got dangerously hot; so much so it left a red scald mark on my chest for an hour, so I would suggest any children have a bath instead as their delicate skin may not recover so easily.
The second issue was that the dining room was closing early the evening we stayed giving diners the only option of 6.30 dining which was too early for us so we went into town. I’m sure this must have been an exception to the rule being a Monday in early February.
Particularly lovely touches with complimentary toiletries, fresh fruit, water, coffee machine and cereal bars.

This hotel is located just outside a small town and about 35 minute drive from Luxembourg City. It has aged some, and since we were there off season, had only a few employees around. We were disappointed that the pool was not warm, about 24 C, but the sauna and steam room were working well, evenings only. Dinner was great and breakfast was fine.

We stayed 1 evening in this wonderful hotel. On arrival we were greeted right away and were given some champagne. The front desk escorted us to our room and handed over \"The Key\". This hotel is old fashioned so the locks aren't electronic. The room was very spacious with a sitting area and a full size balcony. Everything was clean however there didn't seem to be any air conditioning. This was not an issue for us since it was a cool time of year. We had a room facing the road however it was really quiet. I noticed 1-2 cars drive by however this seems to be low season (mid sept) for this resort town. Breakfast was nice with a full spread and the attendant was pleasant to speak with. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again if we were to pass through Echternach again.

The room was fairly spacious, and the bathroom quite large. The wall mounted hair drying unit was definitely dated, loud, and the nozzle/handle got quite hot after using for 5-10 minutes. The breakfast and accompany service was very good. The pool and surrounding amenities (changing room, relaxation areas) were outstanding.

Convenient location in Echternach

Great location to visit Echternach, Vianden, and Trier. The breakfast is excellent, staff very helpful. The room is spacious but its decoration needs an update. The room did not have air conditioner, not an issue for us because it was cooler in the evenings.

After visiting relatives in The Netherlands we decided to relax in Luxembourg before joining the hustle and bustle of the Tour de France.
Hotel Bel Air, in Echernacht was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived we began to relax, to our surprise we received a free room upgrade and drinks on the Terrace while our luggage was brought from the car.
We dined at the restaurant for 2 nights. The food, wine and service were superb. We used all of the spa and wellness facilities, the meditation room was a personal highlight.
The grounds and surrounding Forrest walks added to the overall experience.

The room we were given was definitely smaller that the pictures seen on the website.The double bed was there but the \"double\" mattress was in fact 2 single ones put side by side.The hotel could do with some renovation of the rooms ( furnitures, carpets, painting...)
there was no way of having a shower without holding the shower head for which there was no support on the wall.
The food was OK , nothing extraordinary.
The spa area was great ( swimming pool, sauna ) but you have to ask for the sauna to be switched on and it then takes almost 45 minutes to get to the right temperature.
Do not forget to bring some sandals as the hotel only supplies sleepers that are quite slippery on the swimming pool tiles.
Overall, I think the hotel is over priced for what you get.

Alternate place to stay for business

If you are looking for a place to stay outside of the city when in LUX for business I would recommend this hotel. Rent a car, as its 30mins from city centre. Service was excellent. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Quiet and away from the city lets you relax from the day or focus in piece on business. Not much around the hotel other than paths walking through nature.

This hotel was chosen for its location as we were travelling south from the Hook of Holland to Switzerland.
The facilities eg the wellness centre, swimming pool, sauna area were excellent.
The food selection and dining experience made a great start to our Holliday, with both local and international cuisine on offer in two restueants.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel is gedateerd, maar wel op een charmante wijze! Dus niet oud en kapot, maar mooi oud en nostalgisch. Ongelofelijk aardig personeel. Ook fijn dat wanneer je een aantal dagen verblijft, niet telkens ander personeel achter receptie staat. Bed sliep heerlijk. Douche is dan wel wat hoort bij een ouder hotel, niet consistent qua warmte. Maar ach, deed ons weer denken aan vroeger. Wat betreft badkleding of bloot in de sauna was ons onduidelijk. Bord bij ingang heeft het alleen over badkleding voor zwembad, maar het zwembad is niet beschikbaar. Maar begreep van andere sauna gasten dat gemengd (bloot en badkleding) geen probleem is. Ook heel fijn, op de kamer liggen de badjassen en saunahanddoeken klaar. En als je slippers vergeten bent, deze krijg je gratis bij de receptie.
Dineren in hotel is wel haute cuisine. Erg lekker en hebben ook 2x gegeten maar wij zouden het ook heel fijn hebben gevonden om wat eenvoudigere te kunnen bestellen. Want na een lange winterwandeling over ijspaden en glibberige trappen, is een lekker schnitzel ook voldoende. Ook heel fijn: gratis OV en bushalte voor de deur van hotel. Download wel even de app zodat je precies kan zien hoe laat er een bus komt. We komen zeker terug!

Helaas heeft het hotel een beetje van zijn grandeur verloren. Wel een mooi gebouw. De wellness was ronduit teleurstellend. We wisten wel dat het zwembad was gesloten, maar ook de hamman was kapot , waardoor er enkel 1 sauna was.
Ok voor 1 nachr, maar aan de dure kant voor wat je terugkrijgt.

Sauna nicht komplett in Funktion ( duschen gingen bei Sauna nicht und nur eine Sauna war an.)

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel avec mon compagnon. Personnel accueillant et sympathique. Chambre dont le style est d’une autre époque, particulier mais bien agencé.
Chambre propre, lieu inspirant le calme. Terrasse agréable, un atout pour la chambre. Literie super, confortable.
Cependant, nous ne mettrons pas une note plus élevée pour plusieurs raisons:
1) À notre réservation, l’hôtel nous prévient qu’un mariage a lieu au même moment que notre séjour. Ils mentionnent que des mariages ont lieu régulièrement chez eux, que les clients ne se plaignent généralement pas du bruit et qu’ils feront le nécessaire afin que notre chambre soit à l’opposé de la salle de réception. Nous avons donc été assez surpris d’avoir eu une chambre, certes au 4e étage, mais juste au dessus de la salle de réception. Nous avons entendu la musique et les basses toute la nuit (le bruit venait par la cage d’escalier).
2) Nous avons été assez surpris lorsque nous avons découvert le wellness. La piscine a été vidée et convertie en zone de détente avec des chaises longues dans le fond. Et mis à part le sauna, le hammam et les chaises chauffantes, il n’y avait pas grand chose d’autre. Même si certaines installations fonctionnent, nous avons été super déçus par les infrastructures.
3) Le petit déjeuner a emporter à 15€, beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu’on reçoit..
En bref, hôtel ok, chambre confortable, mais ne vaut pas vraiment son prix à notre sens

Hotel ist stark in die Jahre gekommen und hat Renovierungsstau. Im Spa-Bereich wurden ganze Bereiche abgesperrt oder umfunktioniert, zB Liegen in einen leeren Pool ohne Wasser gestellt. Positiv zu erwähnen ist das nette Personal.

Det märktes att det här hotellet har haft sina glansdagar. Det kändes nedgånget. Vi betalade lite extra för detta hotell då vi ville ha lite mer lyx på vår genomresa genom Europa. Men poolen var avstängd så något spa fanns det inte direkt att njuta av. Maten kändes också 90-tal. Personalen gjorde dock sitt bästa.

Hotel gelegen in een zone van bergen en bossen. er vertrekken 3 wandelroutes aan het hotel. Lekker ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamers met terras. Parking en bushalte aan het hotel ! Zwembad is helaas nog niet hersteld.

Sehr schönes Hotel aus der alten Zeit.
Wir waren nur eine Übernachtung da und würden herzlich empfangen.
Die Zimmer und Bad sind sauber und ausreichend groß für zwei Personen. Die Betten sind neu.
Gutet Ausgangspunkt, um in die Wolfs Schlucht zu wandern.

Die Hotel-Bilder zeigen einen viel schöneren Zustand des Hotels / sind sehr beschönigend.

Zudem ist eine relativ laute Bundesstraße direkt unterhalb des Hotels. Suggeriert wird pure Natur.

Der \"Fitnessraum\" enthält verschlissene und teilweise kaputte Geräte.

Im Wellnessbereich ist teilweise Schimmel an der Decke.

Abgesehen davon ist das Hotel OK, jedoch für ca. 200 EUR / Nacht Romantikzimmer viel zu teuer für das, was es bietet.

Bel Air is a cute little hotel that feels remote, but is only a short bus ride (5 minutes) into Echternach. Additionally, the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. No need to navigate your way in the dark if you are arriving later. Breakfast is a bit pricey for what is offered, but again, it is very easy to get to Echternach for more dining options. Busses are reliable, within 2 or 3 minutes of the schedule. Easy access to the Mullerthal hiking trail.

Leider ist das Hotel nicht annähernd so schön wie die Fotos auf der Booking Homepage, es liegt direkt an einer viel befahrenen Bundesstraße, die Einrichtung ist Altbackend und hässlich, die kleinen Zimmer total vollgestellt und der Wellness Bereich darf so eigentlich nicht heißen. Statt Wasser befindet sich leer und Liegen im Pool, weil man Energiekosten sparen möchte. Dafür stand die Türe der angeschalteten Sauna weit offen. Um das Hotel rum ist Kilometerweit nichts, man ist daher aufs Auto angewiesen wenn man nicht den Bus nutzen möchte

We hadden half pension , het eten was zeker 4 sterren waardig , goede keuken! maar de bediening voor het avondeten had totaal geen kennis ervan! Onze mening! Dringend op zoek gaan voor mensen met vakkennis in deze branche!

Het Hotel is in een verouderde staat.
Kamers zijn gehorig, bedden zijn verschrikkelijk hard en niet comfortabel.
Ontbijt en ontvangst was fijn.
Zwembad was buiten gebruik en ook de sauna en stoombad zag er niet uit om gebruik van te maken. Dit werd wel van te voren gemeld via de mail.

Renovierungsbedürftiges Hotel, zu teuer für das gebotene! Abendessen war gut! Das Frühstück eine Katastrophe! Abgepackte Wurst wie im Krankenhaus, Uralte Kühlbehälter aus den 90zigern, keine Auswahl…! Für die Sterne des Hotels ein no go!
Der Service und die Mitarbeiter hingegen waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich!

Souvenir avec notre petit-fils

Séjour avec notre petit-fils de 7 ans. Vélo sur la Moselle, visite de la serre à papillons à Grevenmacher et lac d'Echternach. Mais aussi promenade dans le Müllerthal. Très agréable.

Müllerthal, quelle région!

Promenades pédestres dans le Mullerthal...Génial, c'est simplement sublime. L'hôtel est très accueillant, un verre de bienvenue très sympa et apprécié après la balade. Nous reviendrons, du moins, nous l'espérons, car voilà déjà au moins 5 fois que nous avons fréquenté cet établissement très familial.

Das Haus und die Lage sind top. Da Ambiente des Hotel hat charme und ist gut in Schuss. Zimmer war sehr gut und sauber. Die Spa anwendungen und Einrichtungen waren ebenfalls toll und gut gepflegt. Saune Dampfbad und Schwimmbad sehr gut.

Zeer mooi, gezellig en proper hotel. Romantische sfeer. Lekker ontbijtbuffet. Personeel spreekt nederland. Vlakbij busstop en wandelpaden. Heel leuke wellness. Echt alles aanwezig voor een geslaagd weekendje. Iets minder was de afstand tot het dorpje die net iets te ver was om vaak te doen. Onze kamer lag aan een drukke baan dus hadden we een beetje last van verkeerlawaai. Tophotel!
