Breakfast is nice and clean. Coffee is good. The staff is excellent! The only minor issue was a bit of dust in the room that triggered my allergies, but it was easily managed with Zyrtec and didn’t ruin the stay.

Overall, I would go back and stay there!

We loved it here! We had a long day of travel and ended up arriving much later than we planned, so unfortunately we missed out on using the pool, but that was on us. They kindly allowed us a late checkout. The place is gorgeous, loved the decor and it was very clean. Good complimentary breakfast, and the staff were very knowledgeable about the area and attractions/beaches for us to check out. Very nice family friendly atmosphere.

The room was comfortable and staff good. We liked having the buffet breakfast, although the menu options were more on the fast-food side and not on the quality or healthy side (for example, yogurt was a sugary brand). Regardless, the location was convenient and the hotel overall reasonable.

The room is very big and good equipped as for this price. Hotel is clear, standard breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausages. They have indoor big pool and hot tub, all clear.
The hotel is located on the first shore line but ocean is not visible from first floor.
The enter to beach for people and cars just 3 minutes walking; beautiful trail along.
A lot of diner and grocery options around.

stayed over the weekend, smooth check in, employees were great! lobby was very clean, room was good, view was nice, the breakfast was delicious. Didn't use hot tub or pool unfortunately, too many kiddos screaming for our liking haha. checking out sunday morning, the place was packed and some guest tracked in a bunch of dirt/mud...(not hotels fault) Overall it was a good time and will likely stay again!

Very clean and spacious rooms! We loved how close the walk is to the beach. It's next door to a couple gift shops and you can walk across the street for donuts and coffee.

The pool was clean and warm! It was pretty small much to our disappointment. But still nice so expect it to be always in use. Breakfast was good, but an hour before it stopped it was way over crowded with other guests. Go early!

The staff at the front desk was not very friendly. One young man was nice he was there in the morning. The rest of the shifts didn't even great people when they came in didn't even look up anyone could have walked in. They were very full it was a holiday weekend but breakfast was over at like 9:30 but food still on the floors and counters till well after noon. It is not a place I would book again

We reserved the Junior Suite on Hotels.com which stated two queen beds with a pull out couch. We checked in and the room they gave us had no pull out. They tried to charge us more stating that the Junior Suite on their website doesn't include a pull out couch bed. We were finally given a new room with a pull out couch and eventually tried to pull it out to make the bed and the couch bed was broken and the worker who came to the room couldn't fix it. We were unable to use the bed. We brought up the issue at checkout and the front desk spoke with the \"manager\" and they informed us that we could not get a discount even though we paid for the pull out couch and couldn't use. My husband stated his displeasure to the front desk worker who replied \"Oh well\". We enjoyed the hotel in the past but will look at different venue in the future. Front desk workers who were helpful and friendly were Jamie and Raven.

The breakfast was much better than I anticipated. In addition to what one would expect at a complimentary hotel breakfast there was eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrown, biscuits and gravy and a do it yourself waffle bar. Rooms were nice and parking was easy. I felt like there weren’t many amenities in the area so if you want groceries or other restaurants, you’ll probably want to drive. Also, really close to the beach.

Room had a “sofa bed” that we needed to use but it did not fold out to a bed so I ended up sleeping on a couch instead of a bed. Several of us tried to figure it out but didn’t see how it classified as a sofa Bed.

Bay Vue was a great choice for our stay in Ocean Shores. The second floor room was large with a king sized bed and very clean. Partial view of the ocean was nice. Large screen TV was good but not HD. Free breakfast was awesome! The room rate $119 and a great value. Walk to the amazing beach was 7-8 minutes. Will definitely stay here again and recommended.

I’ll start with first impression. I only booked this hotel based solely on the reviews and was very disappointed when we first arrived.
The front door was broken (supposed to be an automatic door and it has a sign taped on it to slide it to open.. and it’s heavy.) The elevator buttons looked as though they were coming unattached from the elevator. Our room immediately reminded me of a cheap motel room as it had a musty smell to it, the paint was chipped on the walls and doors, the bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way and wouldn’t lock, the bathtub drain wouldn’t close so no baths could be taken. The heater in the room gave a burnt smell, made us nervous to use it. The BED.. ugh sooo uncomfortable and my husband and I both slept horribly on it. The tvs aren’t smart tvs and had poor graphics and only provided like 30 basic channels others were highlighted and you couldn’t watch them because it wasn’t apart of the tv service plan. Then lastly, the breakfast was sooo gross. It tasted like frozen food warmed up, the juices all had chemical taste to them (yes we tried every one) it was overall a horrible location to stay at. We do not recommend this place for the cost especially. We paid around $250 for a 2 night getaway and it felt like a joke.

The automatic door at the only entrance is broken and you have to slide it open so you can get in. The front desk was okay. Our room was almost barren. It's a big hotel but the only other guests where in the room above mine and the room next to mine. Then the power went out. Can't swim in the pool or the hot tub with no power. Can't turn on the heat with no power. Just a crap trip that I will never repeat

If you have kids I would not stay here. The windows are regular sliders. There was a 3” rusty bolt just sitting near the window and the lock was broken. No screen. Anyone could open and fall out of it. It’s only maybe 18” so easy for a child to slide open. Masking tape still on the bathroom door. Remodel far from done. Mystery stains on very old furniture. All different types of screws and missing ones from electrical plates. The breakfast looked promising with the new lobby, but cold bacon and questionable eggs. You can tell housekeepers do their best, so it was passable, but will never be staying there again. All staff were really friendly. Once you get in the room.. yikes.

The staff was nice and I was really hopeful for the hotel to be wonderful but the rooms were just disappointing. It was clean (I think) but it felt old. The walls were patched up, the caulking around the bathtub was sloppy, the sheets were rough and I’m pretty sure our bathroom had black mold in the shower. The most disgusting part was the pool and hot tub. My kiddo was so excited to go swimming but when she did we noticed the water was a bit cloudy. It wasn’t until she went all the way under water that we realized how cloudy the water was. When my daughter went underwater, we could not see her from above. I have pictures to prove it. We didn’t even bother going in the hot tub because when the bubbles turned off, we noticed a big pile of floating scum on the top of the water. There was no way we were getting in that. If the pool and hot tub are that dirty, what else in the hotel is that dirty? The hotel is really close to the beach which makes it so promising. With a few upgrades this could be a lovely hotel but until those get fixed, we will not be staying here again.

The rooms are not listed correctly. We got a Jr Suite which said it has 2 queen beds and a queen pullout couch. The couch did NOT pull out which left some of our kids without a place to sleep. I feel like we overpaid for a 2 queen bed room because it was listed as a 3 queen bed room. The pool was also very murky, I’m hoping it was from everyone’s sunscreen. It was warm though which was nice.

The room were extremely dirty filth everywhere old dry food on the carpet by the tv in the room. The bathroom had hair all over the place the toilet had poop stains. The AC wasn’t working properly. They charged us a smoking fee after 5 hours of checking out they said we smoked weed. We aren’t even smokers at all.. they also had a bunch of chemicals (sodium bicarbonate) at the pool and no towels at all.

The lobby looked like it was recently redone. We stayed in the junior suite and it was a real nice size and the furniture was nice and cozy, but there were a couple notable things.
1. The floor was wet by the ac, I let the staff know
2. There was a weird smell - maybe connected to the wet floor? It bothered my asthma a little bit.

Otherwise, they offered a nice breakfast and the staff were all very nice and helpful. I’d go again. Also, the location was in walking distance of many stores and restaurants.

Had to be moved due to noisy family rooms on 2nd floor. Carpets throughout property are dirty and stained. Air conditioner unit falling off wall and unsafe. Dead insects in windowsills and property is very tired and in need of refit. Very expensive for a bucket and spade hotel not very near to a dirty beach that cars drive on.

The location was great, rooms were adequate. Sink was detaching from countertop, bathroom was small and dated, pool water was foggy and room was very loud. The elevator had a strong unpleasant smell. The entry and breakfast area were very bright and clean. All of Ocean Shores could use some investors and city planning, it feels run down and behind the times. the restaurants are expensive for the quality of food you get.
