Don't rely on advertised shuttle to airport. We reserved their shuttle for 6am. When we showed up at exactly 6am the shuttle was already gone. We had to pay for Lift to get to the airport.

We arrived at close to 1 AM following a long flight from Rome to JFK. Upon arrival we were told our rooms were not available due to some kind of HVAC issue. We were not alerted to any issue prior to standing at the front desk. We had navigated the train and taken an Uber to get to the hotel, only to be told they were \"trying to find something else for us in the area\" There were others already waiting in the same predicament and upon a quick search there was nothing available nearby.

We ultimately walked through the rain at 1:30AM to pick up our cars at the (unaffiliated) reserved lot half a mile away, and drove home that night. The intention of the stay was to get some sleep before a 6 hour drive after being awake for 24+ hours but that was not an option.

Would not recommend doing any business with this hotel. Things happen, but the lack of communication was inexcusable and unnecessary. The person at the desk was clearly overwhelmed and said she was not getting any help from management, which speaks volumes.

The location of our room was unusual. We were located on the first floor in the hall with housekeeping. Maid carts were lining the wall where our room was located. Workers began arriving at 5:35 am. They were very loud and very active getting ready for the day. It was not a good location for a guest room

The staff members were good especially the cooks, bar attendant and waffle maker. The day manager was very friendly. The food was ok. I just like bacon better than sausage. Their chicken wings were very good.

Housekeeping fell very short. Our room was not cleaned the entire stay. The bathroom was cleaned only on the last day before our departure. We only got cleaned towels when asked and only cleaned face cloths one day. The sheets were never changed. We spoke to the day manager and the front desk employee each day and nothing changed.

Other day cleaning our rooms daily and providing face cloths, our stay was ok.

The employees were very nice especially the bar attendant. The day manager and the cooks were very nice. Breakfast was good. Each waffle maker was excellent.

The only complaints were not cleaning our rooms daily and not having face towels after the second day. We didn’t get any cleaned face towels for the last 3 days. We complain about not having our room cleaned to the front desk and day manager. Only on the day before our departure that our bathroom was cleaned but we still did not get any face cloths/towels. We arrived on a Tuesday and left on that Saturday.

My stay here was lovely! Staff was exceedingly friendly, and my room was clean and tidy. The airport shuttle was seamless. I will say that my to go breakfast (since I left too early for their usual breakfast) left something to be desired. It consisted of a water bottle, packaged muffin and bagel. Still, I will absolutely stay here again before a JFK flight.

The hotel is in front of the trash truck dump field. My mother is disabled and we were given a room on the first floor which i appreciated but the hallway was full of laundry carts impeding proper safe walkway for a disabled person and we were woken up with the loud noises of the cleaning crew loading the carts and moving them,

The hotel was not what we expected. It was priced as a budget hotel, but what we experienced it certainly wasn’t.
Although the room was quite small, it was modern, clean and very functional. The bathroom was modern, with a powerful shower, although it was quite puzzling that it didn’t provide shower gel and only a small bar of soap. The Kuerig coffee maker was very good and well received. The breakfast was adequate, but could be improved with better quality hot items.
The one downside was the view from the window and that coupled with the only parking available being in the streets around the property, that could be classed as a negative.
That being said the location is very convenient for JFK and the airport bus was a good option. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this to others.

The property was clean and well maintained, however I still cannot understand why I was placed in a wheelchair accessible room. If my stay was longer I would have requested a different room. The bathroom was shockingly different with no place for my toiletries. I was extremely unhappy.

Stayed May 6–7 2026 after returning from an international flight. The room itself was clean and functional, and the airport shuttle was convenient. However, the check-in experience felt disorganized, and the lobby was unusually loud late at night. After falling asleep around 1:30am, I was awakened at 2:30am by a prolonged loud conversation from the front desk/lobby area and could not return to sleep. For an airport hotel serving late arrivals and early departures, overnight quiet should be a priority. Overall, adequate but disappointing given the purpose of the stay.

The shuttle, friendly staff and key card security was nice and the sheets were soft. However, the hotel feels old and smelled strongly of bug spray. The floor and tables at breakfast were tacky/sticky (not the fault of the attendant, she was wiping and cleaning). Need to invest and freshen up.

The room was small, but clean. I asked for help with my luggage and was told they didn’t have anyone to help me. I explained that I had just been discharged from the hospital. The woman at the front desk asked a maintenance man to help me. The man was very nice and took my luggage to my room. There were lots of choices for breakfast. The food looked fresh and I saw a worker restocking the eggs and other hot foods. The shuttle was right outside the entrance to the hotel. It was an older van, but got us to the airport with no problems.

The room was very noisy! Elevator noise on one side and street noise from cars and trucks from the windows. We could hear planes flying overhead. The window covering didn’t prevent light from coming in on both sides. Very cheap shades that got stuck every time we tried to close them.
We were woken up in the morning by a fire alarm!! It went off and continued very loudly. We had to evacuate the building before we could get fully dressed. It was cold outside. We waited for 20 minutes until 3 NYC fire department trucks came and 10 firefighters rushed in and soon found out it was a false alarm.
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. It’s not soundproof and very rundown. It’s across the street from storage yard for trash trucks and snow removal equipment with mountains of debris and salt for snow melting!!

Unfortunately we had to leave at 4:45 am, so although I booked this hotel for the free shuttle, we were not able to use it. That was rather disappointing. I also heard someone else asking the same thing. I wish it was a 24 hour service. That would have been very helpful, or at least mention the times that the Shuttles run on the Hotels.com website. I didn't learn of the times until after I booked and then I couldn't cancel. I called to see if I could and was not allowed to.

Although I walk with difficulty (using a cane) and was pulling a suitcase and carry-on, I was given room 128 -- the furthest away from the elevator.
The room itself was clean enough. But it was overheated and trying to adjust using the heat/AC controls gave no result.
The room also did not have a chair -- neither a recliner-type nor even a desk chair. I have never paid $220 for a motel room that didn't even have a chair, and I never will again.

Great stay during a chaotic travel day!
After a wave of flight cancellations, the Comfort Inn JFK was exactly what we needed. Its close proximity to the airport and the convenient shuttle made the transition seamless.
The standout, however, was the staff. They were incredibly accommodating and managed to get us a very early check-in, which was a huge relief. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stress-free stay near JFK!

Property is convenient to JFK, but that’s about it. Very limited food options, with delivery or uber being the only ones. They advertised a bar for drinks with snacks, there is a bar but it’s empty, no staff, no drinks, just an empty wall. Snacks available are mostly chips and sodas. Room was comfy and clean but the A/C was useless.

For a cheaper night stay in New York, this hotel was perfect. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was extremely convenient and saved us the high cost of other services. Also there is a bus station right outside the hotel, which for a longer ride, allowed my group to easily get to the subway station and travel from there. Only thing to consider is that there isn’t great food options close by, so plan on eating out before coming back!

After a horrible experience at LaGuardia airport with our flight to Disney cancelled and 2 very upset children we booked another flight for the next day out of JFK. Our flight didn’t get cancelled until midnight so we quickly booked a hotel room to sleep for a few hours. The receptionist at this property was AMAZING! She was so kind and had a bagged breakfast for us in the very early morning - I wish I got her name! She is the best!
