The unit was smaller than expected. We were only there one night, so we made it work. The whole place was sloped, which was concerning. The floors were dirty, and you could tell they clean around the furniture. The breakfast bar was decent, but low stock. I noticed staff were frequently having to refill everything. Maybe it was busier than normal, because all the tables were full. The heated pool was cold, but the hot tub was very nice and relaxing. The man that checked us in was very kind and agreeable, however the next shift crew seemed uninterested in our questions about one of the amenities. All in all, it was fine, and we made the most of it. It was a place to sleep and came with breakfast. The place could use some upgrades and deep cleaning, but it wasn't terrible! Last thing I'd mention is- make sure you read the check-in instructions after you book! They are very helpful when it comes to where you're supposed to check-in!

Got to the hotel and went to the door that said vacancy. No one was in there but a sign that says use phone to call for check-in. I called a few times, no answer. Went to check reservation email and found out I had to go to another hotel to check in. Got a room key and it wouldn't open the door, went back to the office. They gave me another card. Still wouldn't open the door. Went back to the office and they said I was opening the door wrong. They used a master key to open the door, and then started to walk away. I tried the card again, wouldn't work. He used the key to open the door again. I asked him how was I supposed to get in if I left the room. He said to put something in the door jam so the door wouldn't close. I told him I'd like to cancel the reservation at this point and just leave. The guy in the office said I'd have to cancel the stay the following day... Not sure what good that was going to do since I wanted to cancel the day of, not after... I was given the master key to the room and was asked to not lose it. The employees at the counter wouldn't even make eye contact with me. We got our things in the room, it smelled weird, not like food just old and musty maybe. Clean room and kitchen area. Sofa, sheets, bath towels stained. Heat didn't work in living room. Room was quiet throughout the stay, even with the monthly renters.

All the amenities were actually down the street at the Days Inn. The beach access isn't at the motel, it's down the road at the public access. Place was not what was expected and they took quite a while looking for a key that worked, finally just put me in the Days Inn location when I suggested that would make me happier. If I hadn't pre paid we would have gone elsewhere. At least it was only an overnight.

No hand soap in the bathroom. Had to call for more towels and TP. No silverware in the kitchen. No paper towels. Remotes didn't work so TV was working. Was clean and nice paint job. Had to checkin at days inn across street. They didn't answer the phone a few times at the inn.... We asked for and reserved a room with king bed and sofa queen bed. Didnt get that! had to have a family member bring a folding cot from home!

Well, it ends up that there were remodeling that motel, but they own the days and so they put us in a room there which was OK except at 6 o’clock in the morning some guy next-door is using the forklift, the loud beeping noise which woke me up and kept me up at a time I didn’t wanna be

Wasn't at that location, apparently Daysinn bought Westerly motel and i stayed at the inn instead. It was dirty behind the tv, and the carpet felt sticky. The staff was really nice but the room itself could've been better. Also you have to check in at Daysinn. Which is down the street.

The Westerly, was run down and also inhabited by monthly renters. To check in , you have to go down the block and across the street, to the Days Inn hotel. The amenities offered for the Weatherly are actually at the Days Inn. The pool, hot tub and breakfast are all at the Days Inn. We actually stayed at the Days Inn. The staff were great! The property is a little run down, but clean and adequate. The price was great. The hot tub was hot and the pool was heated.

Actually ending up staying at the Days Inn because there was no housekeeper to clean the property. Very strange. I don’t want to stay in a dirty room anyway. Got charged more for staying there for two nights and Paid a deposit that was not returned even after a couple of days. We left the room clean. We did notice a chair in the corner was already broken when we arrived. Never touched or moved it. Stay at the Days inn was nice tho. Quiet. Clean. Bed kind of hard but clean, hot water and warm.

Like Spam, I arrived around 4pm went in, mini waiting room. I pick up the black phone not one answer, I left voicemail with my information and phone number, not one call me back. I check Expedia for more information I found I will to check in on different property name is Days inn, the person tell if I would like to stay in Days inn, I said yes, then he said it will be $20.00 dollars more. When I see the receipt to sign it’s $29.12. He’s telling me days inn have breakfast and pool, and the other property doesn’t have. I will need to drive to the lobby of Days inn.

We stayed for two nights at the Days Inn also known as Westerly in Ocean Shores, Washington, and paid the full room cost through Expedia. We were aware that pet fees were to be paid directly to the hotel, which included a $25 per night pet fee and a $50 refundable pet deposit to be returned after checkout.
Our dog is a 10-pound Shih Tzu, and there was no damage to the room during our stay. We also brought our own blanket for the bed. At checkout, hotel staff confirmed that the $50 pet deposit would be refunded.
It has now been over a month, and despite numerous attempts to contact the hotel, we have not received the refund or any response. This delay is unacceptable, and the deposit should have been returned as promised.

I booked a Queen Deluxe room with a kitchen, but upon arrival I was told the room was unavailable due to an alleged incident. I later confirmed with authorities that no such incident occurred. We were moved to a smaller room in a different building without a kitchen, and this was only disclosed after we had already signed the check-in paperwork.

Check-in took a long time, and when I asked about switching to another available unit listed online, I was told no alternative could be offered. We were not given the option to upgrade, even at our own expense.

While at the front desk, I witnessed another couple trying to resolve a billing issue, which added to the overall concern about how guests are treated.

This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend staying here based on our stay.

Very clean room comfy bed. Pool was crunchy big globs of hair to dodge. Hot tub perfect. They really trying hard to fix the place up. The breakfast good, they had doots open all the time so mass flies in the way. Guess they hungry too. I booked Westerly Motel but the sign said check in at Days Inn. Across street at Days no hello or welcome. Joshua at desk busy talking to maintenance so i felt i was interruption
In fact i don't think he has customer experience I had to interrupt him a few times while there never say hi and acknowledged me.the hospitality staff very courteous. Dont think i will be back.

The corner room allowed view of street from 2 different areas, there is a small fridge, one microwave and a coffee maker. The surprise was a massage chair. The bedroom was small with no place for clothes. Bathroom was very clean but there was no toilet paper holder! The TV was way too big for the room. We will stay there again. Breakfast is across the street in the Days Inn.

The room smelled terrible from the initial opening of the door. It smelled of mold, dampness and just moldy/must.

The bed was made with fitted sheet, damp blanket, flat sheet and then another damp blanket. The blankets had holes that looked like cigarette burns and there was stitching on at least one of them. The floors were uneven and absolutely terrible. The LVP was torn up either from the bed or from a hammer.

The bathroom was disgusting. The towels were laid out on the top of the toilet covering the push button. The toilet paper was sitting on top of that as the toilet paper holder was torn from the wall, thankfully either thrown away or hidden, but still gone.

It was incredibly odd that I had to go to the Days Inn nearby to get my keys. I honestly wish I had stayed there instead.

I will never stay here again, and I would never recommend anyone ever stay there.

The office is a block away. Other people smoke right outside their rooms and the smoke smell comes in my room. Handy to beach and staying with a dog.

I was on a tight budget; you get what you pay for. The recliner didn’t recline as the handle to put feet up did nothing. Although there was a mini pot to heat water there was no way/ place to plug it in unless you sat under the counter. Wifi was sketchy. But I was there for the ocean. Bed was comfy.

Shelter for Homeless people of all nations.

The westerly motel is totally different in reality then it's advertised or pictured on websites. I reserved 2 rooms for our party and on the website it says sleeps 5 per room with a queen bed and a sofa bed.
In one room it was only 1 bed and the other room had 1 bed and barely working sofa bed that was all super dirty, stained and smelled of cigarette smoke.
The rooms both smelled of mold and one also of the cigarette smoke. Huge rip off, will never stay again and don't recommend to anyone. When asked for a different room or some discount, neither one was provided.

First thing was we had to check-in at an entirely different hotel which was not expected at all. Second, within minutes of looking at the room the shower curtain slammed onto the floor before we even entered the bathroom and when I picked it up it was soaking wet. The coffee maker not only already had old water in it but was cracked all over the place. The paper cups were stuck together as if they were stacked wet. The couch cushions were very stained, the blanket on the bed was MAJORLY stained and actually moist with holes. The towels in the bathroom were already wet as well. The windows in the bedroom and bathroom were open upon arrival, and the bedroom had a hole in the wall from the door knob. There was no air conditioning or ability to adjust the thermostat to a cooler temperature so it was very hot and very muggy. The bathroom door wouldn't lock even with the push button lock. Our key didn't seem to lock the front door from the outside and had to be locked from the inside when we would leave. Amenities like the pool, hot tub and breakfast mentioned in the booking site were at the separate hotel we had to check-in. The pool actually had a section of the ceiling that seemed heavily damaged and almost falling in. I absolutely would not recommend this facility to anyone especially for a charge of $175 for one night. And definitely hope for some sort of refund.

We were told in the booking there were two beds and that the room had cooking facilities. There was one bed, no cooking facilities, no night stands on which to put necessary items. The toilet paper was sitting on the window sill and was rough and of poor quality. The clerk tried charging $10.00 extra per hour for early check in, and he argued about trivial matters. The room was cramped, and the hairdryer and bathroom fan were out of order. It was the worst place I have ever stayed in.

Room was not level fridge & living room side table were slanted. No linens for extra bed & only 2 towels in the room. Rooms definitely have moisture problems. Guy working the front desk wasn't friendly at all but the girl working the evening shift was very nice & helpful & got us bedding & their last 2 towels. Breakfast was disappointing, same guy was just sitting at the desk instead of replenishing breakfast items...waffle mix, eggs & juices were all empty! Bees were everywhere ...wasn't terrible but definitely room for improvement

The room was small but updated and clean. Need was comfortable. Only one bar of soap for both sink and shower. Dining room at Days Inn was a big negative! Not clean, dead bugs, a coffee pot from one of the rooms just sitting happy on a table of \"stuff\",half empty containers and empty boxes just sitting around. A guy came to fill it replace the juice and dropped it across the floor then left the mess. Regular the napkins but some feel in the floor and he just walked of and left them. It did not feel clean.

Filthy & SCAM - Do Not Stay Here

This motel is filthy and a total SCAM. My family of 4 booked a room with a bed and pull-out couch, the pull-out was UNUSABLE. It had literal dried dog poop on it (or at least I hope it was from a dog), it was covered in black hairs, and had red and black stains. The rooms reek of cigarettes and mold. The floor was covered in sand.

The \"indoor pool and free breakfast\" exist at the Days Inn a block and a half away. There is no golf course that I saw...this is all false advertising.

We got in late with young kids so had to stay the first night. In the morning I spoke with the owner Jill who told me she would honor a refund for our next two nights despite the booking being nonrefundable. When I contacted Hotels.com and they contacted Jill, she refused a refund and instead offered a ridiculous coupon for a future 2 night stay... On the second night we were supposed to be there, the motel contacted me at 9PM to confirm we weren't coming back so they could double-book the room for a different family despite having charged me for the full 3 nights.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

Good spot for last minute booking. Definitely paying for what you get a little funky. Room number 7 wasnt bad, we did have room number 9 first but wasn't enough room (felt very stuffy in room number 9) sheets were sandy in bed, but shower was nice and room seemed decently cleaned.I would recommended having all white sheets for a more cleanliness feel. I would stay there again if being in a bind. Good location to all restaurants. They offered a simple continental breakfast across the street along with pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

When booking our family stay, the photos look way better then in person. We switched rooms 2 times, thought I was getting a queen with a pull out sofa, 1 st room had a chase and small recliner and small bed. Moved to second room and it was not clean, dirt and hair all over the bathroom. Pull out couch was dirty, did not want my kids to sleep on it, there was a dirty broken recliner in the room also. 3rd room, we switched to we had one with a kitchenette. Twin pull out bed and small very uncomfortable bed low to ground, bed room doors can not close, and no walk space. My son slept on a twin, i had to use the couch cushions for my daughter to sleep on and baby in the kitchen in her play pen. Overall not worth the money. We got to walk and eat breakfast and swim in the pool, but there was flies everywhere and the pool water was not the cleanest....this stay cost over $300 and is not worth the price. The staff were helpful but overall not a clean or big enough space, pictures make it look nicer then what it is.

The westerly is run by the Days Inn across the street - a poster in the window at westerly said to check in over there and that’s also where we asked for extra bedding.
The westerly is an old school motel with parking right outside the room doors. The walls are paper thin. A member of staff had a huge shouty rant at a friend of hers/maybe another member of staff when she came to clean the room next door, every word of which was loud and clear.
We wanted to make up the pull out bed for extra room but there was no spare bedding to do so - totally fine, went to ask for some at days inn, no problem. There was still bedding (clearly used) on the pull out bed from however many guests ago. Pull out mattress and

The staff was willing to listen. Not willing to accommodate to relocate our room or refund either of our 2 day stay. This was to due to very thin walls and able to hear others having sex and aruging. I didnt feel safe with my son or on our yealry vaction to ocean shores happy and at ease. Room was every small, bedroom only had a large bed and couldnt close bedroom door or walk around bed. Tv was not able to watch tv. Had to connect my own account to watch tv. Sleep didnt happen for me because i was on alert the whole time. Had to walk a block away for morning breakfast and coffee and towles and to use to pool. I hope they do make changes as to a smaller bed and maybe a tv in bedroom and moving guest when there are children present.

The room was you get what you pay for! I am not a perfectionist so was able to tolerate any downfalls, It was clean yet aged. So go for it, we are planning to return as the room was almost half priced AND it is the closest hotel to the beach, walking time about 3-4 minutes in Ocean Shores.

The room was ok but the remote did not work for the tv. We even bought new batteries so im assuming thats not the right remote so had to watch our phones. Smelled musty damp in the room, some stains on the walls, old broken picture frame hanging up. The lady who checked us in at 3 came and unlocked our door and entered our room at 10:30 at night. Thank goodness for my dog. That was ridiculous. Who does that. That was scary. Then the ppl that got a room next door to us at 10:30 were loud and slamming doors. We had to ask if they were about done being noisy.

This place got the job done for what we needed: a quick place to stay for the night between hiking stops. That said, we felt dirty the whole time, floors and furniture. Also our room was definitely and noticeably on a slight slant.

Side note: we ran out of toilet paper fairly quick and just decided to hold it upon leaving. Also, there were no bath towels and again decided waiting to shower was a risk worth taking.

We stayed at the westerly six years ago and had a pleasant experience so we rebooked it six year later expecting the same thing. We showed up and the room we had was next to a room with an eviction notice on the door. The person in this room had their garbage spilling out the front door. Their van that was parked in front of their room was filled to the brim with garbage. People were walking around the building and walking into that room. You could hear their conversations through the wall. The WiFi wouldn’t work. There was agressive dogs on the property. We went to the days inn (which the same owner owns) and asked to be switched to that property. The owner was sitting at the desk with the front desk girl when we came forward with our concerns and walked away saying “the wifi doesn’t work” that was his biggest concern not the homeless people taking over his motel. He left her to clean up his mess he allowed to stay like a coward.

We were told that during the off season he rents out rooms monthly at both places and you could tell at both properties people were living there.

Save your money and book somewhere else. These properties are not safe for families or dogs and are poorly managed and the owner clearly doesn’t care about the safety of guests and only about filling his pocketbook.
