Can't say that there was a lot to like. We have stayed there in the past and the experience was completely different. It has gone way down hill. The front desk staff was not helpful or friendly at all and you constantly had to wait for them to come to help you. Key cards were only good for one day so each day you had to get a new one and at times this didn't work either. They had a menacing looking dog roaming around that had growled at people staying there. Housekeeping on the other hand was awesome. Then pool was freezing the first day and better the next day. No towels in the pool area so we had to bring some from our room the first day. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The only issue was that what was put out was all there was. Nothing was replenished. The coffee was full of grounds like they brewed it without a filter. It was bad. As for the room, the beds were horrible, maybe the worst I have ever experienced in my 50 years of traveling. It is sad. This used to be a great place to stay and now, we will never return.

This is the same property as the Westerly. I will for sure be back. Hotel properties in the USA in general is really struggling with squatters and being forced to accommodate low income individuals who unfortunately make the area unsafe. The property itself has a large Rottweiler which actually made me feel safer for some reason. It was nice to know Oma could release the hound if she needed to. Property management was right on top of taking care of what they could. Cleaning staff was really nice and they seem to take pride in their work.

The property was run down with rooms that smell musty. Several items were broken and damaged in our two rooms, like a crack toilet seat that pitched. The hotel parking lot had active all night long. The staff were young and out of it. Will never stay here again, especially with kids.

Room was clean and comfortable. The dumpster area was not secured and I assume the birds and critter spread the garbage all around the parking area. Parking area was crowded with vehicles of contractors not staying there loading and unloading supplies into other trucks. When we came back from dinner, our key no longer worked in the door (was evidently a common problem that night) staff was prompt in fixing the issue and that was appreciated. Breakfast was very weak, the choices were limited, the cereal did not dispense, the orange juice was not mixing well, the coffee was being made the entire time we were eating, there was only peach yogurt, and only banana nut muffins. The waffle maker did work and the waffles were not bad. Check out was easy and the staff person seemed bothered that we turned in the cards as we left. Do not plan to stay here in the future.

Terrible experience with the owner. My boyfriend and I are from eastern WA and got a room here. We did not get the room I booked, which was a double bed. The owner ( a Korean lady ) and the guy working the front suggested we take the king bed. I had no problem with that, except that the fridge didn’t work, the alarm clock didn’t work, and the tv didn’t work. We didn’t realize that until after we washed our feet and shoes in the shower after coming from the beach. We weren’t there for more than 15 mins. We went back to the office and the owner and the front desk guy gave us the room I originally booked. They asked if the room needed cleaning. We told them we washed our feet and there’s sand in the shower. The room was fine, everything worked except there’s a trick to turn on tv, so we had to call someone to come work it for us. The next day we checked out, I realized we left a pair of shoes in the first room and she lady threw them on the ground in a very aggressive manner. Pretty much yelling at me saying we took showers and left the room a mess. I didn’t get my deposit back. The room was only $111 w/tax. I called the hotel and the guy was trying his best to understand and accommodate. The lady grabbed the phone from him and was yelling at me over the phone and hung up on me. I have never experienced this in my whole life. That lady has no business being in the customer service business. Very unprofessional. Will never stay there again.

Our stay was okay at best. The staff were nice to us as guests. We heard plenty of bickering between staff and issues that we as guests shouldn't hear. There was no wifi at all. We were told there were issues with the Wi-Fi but it wasn't even an available Network until the day we left and even then it said there was no actual Wi-Fi to connect to. The continental breakfast was constantly out and we had to ask every day for them to make food. The fresh fruit options were anything but there was a moldy Apple in the bowl for 2 days. Each sequential day we were there there was less and less available for breakfast. The fridge didn't work when we arrived and because there was no maintenance on site we had to diagnose and figure it out ourselves. Anytime we use the microwave it made our room smell burnt. The AC and heat options hardly worked. As I stated before our stay was okay and nothing more.

The room was not clean. There was sand on the tile floor, a rag was left in the bath tub and cup rings were left on the night stand. The breakfast room was messy and the coffee was cold. Staff was difficult to find. The wi-fi didn't work. I asked staff about it and was told "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't". No attempt was made to fix it.

Hi, I wanted to write this review to let others know about the potential health hazard at this property so I had booked two separate rooms with two queen beds when we checked in and got into our room right away. I noticed that the beds were dirty sheets had stains on them and then when we took the covers off there were brown marks along with hair and who knows what else on the sheets and inside the bed so obviously they do not clean or wash their sheets. They just cover it back up for the Next guest. and so I told the check-in staff about the problem along with the sink was dirty in the shower was dirty. My daughter wanted to make some popcorn in the microwave. We opened the microwave and found old pizza that had mold growing on it. I’m also thinking that they might have bedbugs because we saw in the other room. The sheets had tiny blood spots, which is a good sign of bedbug infestation. This property is disgusting gross I would not recommend it even after I told the staff they wouldn’t do anything about it I finally had to go downstairs and request some clean sheets so I can change it myself because they wouldn’t. Absolutely disgusting hotel.

Was given a quiet room which I had requested. Was able to open window for fresh air but had trouble securing it in place, important since I was on the first floor. The mattress had seen better days, not comfortable but room was clean. The reading lamp on my side on the right was in disrepair but adequate. The staff was friendly and accommodating, gave me extra blankets.

This was a trip for a 4 day vacation for the Kite Festival with the Wife. I have stayed in a lot of hotels for business trips and personal and can say this was the worst.

The Bad:
1. Frount desk staff indrefferant to coustomers!
2. No AC/ I had to open the the window to cool off the room and there was no screen on window to prevent any bugs from comming in.
3. I Wasent able to access Wifi in Room reliablly it kept disconnnecting , to far from access point I assume.
4. The bed/ TV and furnature was perty old
5. Tv dosent work/ Remote not working either.
6. Breakfast was bad all that was available was the waffles everything else was either gone or not restocked.. inclding the Syrup had to ask 3 time for that and the Man on the frount desk just staired blankly at me like I was not speaking English.
7. Limited parking compared to the number of rooms.

The Good:
Not to far from the beach which was nice
Pool and hot tub on site but did not get a chance to use them (to Many kids using it )

Very run down property. Vending machines did not work. There were multiple broken things in the room, light switches and etc. Waiting to be charged for that. Also the room had a portable AC, in which cold air blew out the top, but the return wasn’t vented so it blew hot air in the room and made it hotter.

I felt so terrible for the older woman who was working by herself. She seemed very lost. The computer system was down so many mistakes were made, and there was a line of people to check in. There was a mixup in our room so it took us probably about 45 minutes to check in. The hot tub was not working, which was one of the main reasons we booked this place. The breakfast was terrible. I’m not sure if the batter for the waffles was bad but none of the kids would eat it. The price was right and we enjoyed the ocean.

Won’t stay there again. The pipes under the sink leaked. The sink and toilet were too low. The bed was too hard. Garbage laying around the back of the property. Terrible maintenance! No eggs for breakfast. No elevators and tried to put us on the second floor but I said no so they found us a room on the first floor. I had a truly horrific experience with this hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 9pm.
When we arrived, the front desk was completely empty. We rang the bell and called the number provided, but had to wait for a long time before anyone finally showed up. When the staff finally arrived, he informed us that they had no rooms available. He said there was an "issue" with our room, so they cancelled our booking.
Hearing this, I checked my Expedia app and discovered they had sent a message just 3 hours before we arrived with absolutely no explanation. Even at that very moment, my reservation status on the app was still showing as 'Booked.' No call, no email, nothing else. Official check-in started at 3pm. When I asked the staff if we would have gotten the room had we arrived early, he said no, because the "issue" had already occurred. If that was the case, why wait until 6pm to send a message? This strongly makes me suspect they overbooked the hotel and simply bumped us because we arrived late.
To make matters worse, the hotel’s response was completely irresponsible. They offered zero help. Since all nearby hotels were completely booked online, I asked if they could help us find an alternative nearby, they just said they didn't know of any vacancies and that hotels in the area don't share availability.
Because of this, we were left with nowhere to go late at night. This place is highly unprofessional, unfriendly, and completely unreliable.

Overall, a good hotel for the price. The younger man that ran the night desk was EXTREMELY RUDE, when I called about knowing which internet SSID was the hotel's. He actually condescendingly said "I'm not going to tell you, and have a nice night", before hanging up.

I know that staff have to deal with a lot of strangers (I LIVE in Ocean Shores, and just needed a "break"), but he didn't have to act like that. He MUST be one of the owners, because normally people like that would be out the door.

Microwave didn't work, displaying a weird pattern. I wanted to unplug and try to rest it, but didn't.

Killed about 5 mosquitoes, and one ended up in the refrigerator, to be disposed of in the morning. Not their fault, just the time of the year for them to appear...

Spa didn't work, but I have the Community Club, so...

Good bed, good rest. Good breakfast. Mediocre staff.

Lwt me start by sayin I am not one to leave reviews. However this was a bad experience. Upon check in the employee was rude. He was experiencing difficulties with the internet, which I had known about from going to a previous establishment(it was town wide). That was not a problem for me, as I understand when technology doesn't work how its supposed to, it can be annoying, and even delay your work. However he seemed like we were inconveniencing him. Even answering the phone, and taking a reservation while we stood there. Whenever I've checked into a hotel, yes they might take a call, usually placing them on hold and attending to those waiting in the
Lobby. We booked 2 rooms, the rooms had an oder, I put car air fresheners in the ac to help with that, (it didn't work). My room had water pooling on the floor from, I'm not sure where. The hot tub was down and the pool was very murky. The lobby was cluttered and dirty. So we didn't even attempt their breakfast. Would not stay here again. I felt like I was at a pay by the hour hotel motel.

There was a ton of parking, but it was also on a weekend where it wasn't a holiday.
On arrival the staff did let us in a couple hours early without any additional charges.Which was nice. The cleanliness of the room was okay.The walls weren't wiped down, they had fingerprints on them, And along the doors where you would open or close them, they were dirty. The breakfast was pretty good for just getting a quick bite. Although I wouldn't recommend long term stay here for a vacation, But maybe just a quick overnight, stay.

This is the type of motel people live in. Pulled in to no parking available but they're was broken down vehicles on the lot. Hot tub doesn't work, they don't tell you ahead of time which should be done, yet you still have to pay as if it was. Room was clean but outside there were people just loitering around and when I asked if it was where people lived the response was they can only 28 days. This place was terrible. The breakfast was just waffle mix and cereal and police cars were blocking both sides of the entrance to the lobby, they were there all morning in what seemed like dealing with people that lived there. This was ghetto and expedia was no help when I called after we left seeing I had been charged already after being told there would only be a hold on my card. I waited at the front desk, rang the little bell, and called and nobody came for me to pay cash for the room or talk to about how much of a let down it was.

NO. HOT. TUB. The very first thing I asked to use was their Hot Tub when we arrived. I had asked if it would be a problem to use their hot tub given We arrived in the middle of the night and an older lady disappeared into the back and brought to the front an exhausted clearly just woke up man to help us and get us in our room. he said that it was fine and we can use the hot tub. He did not share that the hot tub was drained and taped off. The pool was gross, it had a thick layer of dirt and dead skin at the bottom that was free floating. By the time I went to bring up my concerns, he was away from the desk again seemingly asleep. When I Asked about late check out, and the gentleman stated I can always ask for more time in the morning for 10 bucks an hour. No problem, thank you. I called in the morning TWICE. answered and ignored. I had to walk down to the office and ask, and once I arrived I attempted to ask about a late check out and I got cut off , he not only man-splained how long is left till check out as if I couldn’t read an analog clock, but repeated himself to me multiple times consecutively as if I didn’t speak English and had asked him something in German… I couldn’t even get a word in asking to extend my stay. He glared up at me as I walked away because he clearly wasn’t interested in speaking to me despite being at the office and acknowledging me. DISRESPECTFUL. -2/5 stars. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here in fear of a staph infection.

Hot tub was overly saturated with chlorine so for the rest of the evening we heavily smelled of it. The hot tub was very cloudy because of this. No towels in pool area as we left. Room keys barely worked, if at all, requiring us to go to the front desk a couple of times to get it fixed. Other guests were doing the same.

Otherwise, hotel and room is as expected for price point. Breakfast was fine and room was spacious for double bed. If you wanted to bring an air mattress you would have plenty of room to do so.

The room was decent, not very clean, garbage under the beds. The grounds were very dirty and cluttered. The worst was the pool, dirty, murky water, my kids found garbage and tons of hair and gunk in the water. Needed maintenance, worst was the hot tub. It was disgusting, green,slimy literally a swamp, it smelled and looked like a nuclear waste pond!. The poor man working the desk and caring for everything was the only employee working. He had to juggle it all, I felt terrible for him, the lineup at the desk was 5 people deep, not his fault. He was doing his best. But, was definitely stressed and unable to give any extra answers or help. It was so overwhelming that guests had to fumble through and try to find forks and other items for the meager breakfast. Not much food avaliable, it was grim and unsatisfactory. The syrup was empty, there was simply no food available, people would come in look for ANYTHING, the juice came out as water, the waffle mix, meager, no utensils, no fruit or amenities like a proper continental breakfast should be. Not a pleasant experience, if I had to stay any longer, I would request a refund. This was a subpar visit, mainly because of the overworked employee, the filth and clutter outside and in the pool area, the disgusting pool and unacceptable hot unclean rooms. Days inn-Wyndham, you can do better! This is a HUGE city for visitors it is known everywhere as a vacation area, do you want repeat customers or just figure no one will care? Terrible.

Clean rooms, pool and and property overall. Steven at the front desk is very kind and accommodating. Their breakfast was very lackluster and lacking. Everything was so from a box and nothing made from scratch. We would have appreciated something besides premade waffle batter like bacon, sausage or eggs; however, the price was good.

Hopefully Steven is paid his proper pay including overtime as he was stuck working around the clock as managers were out of town for several weeks.

They were fast to fix the shower that sprayed the ceiling, that was nice.
But the toilet backed up, and I told the staff that was outside my room, and they brought me a plunger to do it myself. I didn't want to be responsible for it if something went wrong, that was bizarre to me. The heater seemed to only blow room temp air, not hot air so I called for extra blankets, and they brought them very fast so that was great. They did their best with what they had for breakfast. They dealt with a lot of Karen's from what I seen myself. So aside from being told to plunge it myself (only number one in there, no number two lol) and a cold heater, it was a good stay. The office staff was a good chat and helpful with everything we needed, and was great at keeping up with breakfast rushes and pool needs etc. I'll stay there again :) and we saw deer from our window in the mornings

I was really disappointed with this stay. The room felt outdated and didn’t appear clean. The bathroom was especially concerning — the tiles literally moved when you walked on them. The pool also clearly needs maintenance.

The bedding situation was unacceptable. The sheets on the bed had holes in them, and I ended up bringing in my own blankets and sheets just to feel comfortable.

To top it off, the front desk experience wasn’t great — the woman who checked us in was unfriendly and came across as rude.

The only positive is that it was cheap, but honestly, you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t stay here again.

To be honest, this was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Somehow the booking got messed up and we got moved to another room. I asked if there was going to be additonal charges for that and I was told no. The second morning, they tried charging my card twice yet no one in the office could tell me why it was happening. Then they tried to charge me again that night over double the first attempted charges. Even left a voicemail saying that we didnt pay so we had to leave. The next morning, i went down and talked to them again and they said they needed to have someone look it over. We waited for 3 hours just to have someone come to our door and say we are supposed to be gone. No one from managment could tell us what was going on. I went to the office again and didnt leave until i spoke with management. In the end, they ended up charging us 75 more dollars just to try to have one night out of the three we where in ocean shores for peace. I will never stay there again. The crap we had to deal with our entire vacation is making it very clear why this place was the cheapest. I would really appreciate if we could get some sort of discount or a full refund on our next booking. This was my first time booking a hotel ever in my life and its not fair the way it played out. I feel more stress then when i left on the vacation

Check in was terrible. Staff member was very rude. I thought I booked a pet hotel through Expedia. Turns out I didn’t. I had to pay an additional $150
Staff member was not on shift and came to the hot tub. Placed his belongings on ours. Left and shook our wedding ring out of my pants looking for his shirt. Took his shirt and my husband’s. Did not want to be confronted and had to call to get my husband’s shirt back.

As far as I'm concerned I want my money back. Toilet get clogged, no plunger, he used his hand and a cup. The floors were dirty, holes and stains in the sheets. It seemed more like apartments then a hotel. People out all hours of the night. Someone parked ( not in a spot) next to my Harley and hit it. No up keep of the property. Lights not working, freezer missing door, coffee pot doesn't work right. All around one of the worst hotel stays ever. I will never stay again.

The room and the entire building felt neglected. You could tell that guests with pets had stayed there previously and there was a soft spot in the bathroom from water damage. We felt incredibly unsafe and the walls were so thin, we could all hear each other. We stayed long enough to book a different hotel and left. Currently trying to get a refund for how bad the situation was.

The floors were dirty, needed to be swept before we got there. A little outdated. But the staff was amazing. Very kind, very helpful. Breakfast was a little sad, waffles, bagels, yogurt cereal. Staff please add scrambled eggs and bacon. Besides that a good stay :)

room was very clean, but little amenities- no clock, 2 coffee pods, no teabags, and breakfast was scarce, very little to choose from, and the hot water--was cold.BUT breakfast across the street was awesome

The breakfast was not up to basic standards, there was no orange juice just came out water the pastries had mold on them, and the floors were covered with spilled coffee. The ladies at the counters could have done a little better at customer service. Check in was quick and easy.

the hot tub is fine, the pool isn't heated which would be perfect for summer but not winter, the staff is okay there was a lady in the morning that was great but other than that didn't live the staff, we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night due to getting locked out and our new rooms toilet lid broke right off

When we checked in Friday the guy was super nice. Check out Sunday the gal was more focused on someone else. I get she was helping someone but the guy did say 'oh help this young lady's and she just kept talking to him

Sunday morning at 8:30 housekeeping knocked on our door!! And woke us up.

'breakfast' was 2 types of cereal, make waffles, or bread and bagels to pick from.

the night clerk was a bit rude, and the room was difficult to figure out the lighting, as the switch by the door did not work. the shower needs a major upgrade and the hard water is murdering the shower head. as a place to crash for a night, its good. if youre planning an extended stay, id recommend looking elsewhere. great location and has potential but it feels neglected.

When i made the reservation online i required to pay for the first night of three, Which i did. When i got to the hotel they only had the room reserved for one night. It went downhill from there.

Where to begin? Checked in 1 hr+ early, for which they charge you $10/hr. Mgr on duty took 20 minutes to check me in and needed assistance only to stick me in an old ADA room (I don't think it qualifies anymore since it has a tub). No cups in room, no alarm clock. View was of an unkept yard area with a junk car. Hot tub so cloudy that you couldnt see the bottom. Hot Breakfast? Consisted of a waffle maker and toaster. Whole milk only, no decaf coffee, no fruit. Truly pathetic. Staff unhelpful in all respects. Avoid this property at all costs.
