The WiFi didn’t work . The entry light to the room didn’t work . The continental breakfast was disappointing. There was no 1/2 for the coffee. The bagels only had strawberry cream cheese. This was a trip for a 4 day vacation for the Kite Festival with the Wife. I have stayed in a lot of hotels for business trips and personal and can say this was the worst.

The Bad:
1. Frount desk staff indrefferant to coustomers!
2. No AC/ I had to open the the window to cool off the room and there was no screen on window to prevent any bugs from comming in.
3. I Wasent able to access Wifi in Room reliablly it kept disconnnecting , to far from access point I assume.
4. The bed/ TV and furnature was perty old
5. Tv dosent work/ Remote not working either.
6. Breakfast was bad all that was available was the waffles everything else was either gone or not restocked.. inclding the Syrup had to ask 3 time for that and the Man on the frount desk just staired blankly at me like I was not speaking English.
7. Limited parking compared to the number of rooms.

The Good:
Not to far from the beach which was nice
Pool and hot tub on site but did not get a chance to use them (to Many kids using it )

Very run down property. Vending machines did not work. There were multiple broken things in the room, light switches and etc. Waiting to be charged for that. Also the room had a portable AC, in which cold air blew out the top, but the return wasn’t vented so it blew hot air in the room and made it hotter.

Very disappointing stay. The room was dirty and did not appear to be cleaned properly. The Wi-Fi barely worked and was unusable most of the time. The breakfast quality was poor, and some of the food seemed old or possibly expired. Overall, the property did not meet our expectations, and I would not stay here again.

I felt so terrible for the older woman who was working by herself. She seemed very lost. The computer system was down so many mistakes were made, and there was a line of people to check in. There was a mixup in our room so it took us probably about 45 minutes to check in. The hot tub was not working, which was one of the main reasons we booked this place. The breakfast was terrible. I’m not sure if the batter for the waffles was bad but none of the kids would eat it. The price was right and we enjoyed the ocean.

Won’t stay there again. The pipes under the sink leaked. The sink and toilet were too low. The bed was too hard. Garbage laying around the back of the property. Terrible maintenance! No eggs for breakfast. No elevators and tried to put us on the second floor but I said no so they found us a room on the first floor. Website says pet friendly but a sign in the lobby says no pets allowed in rooms.

I had a truly horrific experience with this hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 9pm.
When we arrived, the front desk was completely empty. We rang the bell and called the number provided, but had to wait for a long time before anyone finally showed up. When the staff finally arrived, he informed us that they had no rooms available. He said there was an \"issue\" with our room, so they cancelled our booking.
Hearing this, I checked my Expedia app and discovered they had sent a message just 3 hours before we arrived with absolutely no explanation. Even at that very moment, my reservation status on the app was still showing as 'Booked.' No call, no email, nothing else. Official check-in started at 3pm. When I asked the staff if we would have gotten the room had we arrived early, he said no, because the \"issue\" had already occurred. If that was the case, why wait until 6pm to send a message? This strongly makes me suspect they overbooked the hotel and simply bumped us because we arrived late.
To make matters worse, the hotel’s response was completely irresponsible. They offered zero help. Since all nearby hotels were completely booked online, I asked if they could help us find an alternative nearby, they just said they didn't know of any vacancies and that hotels in the area don't share availability.
Because of this, we were left with nowhere to go late at night. This place is highly unprofessional, unfriendly, and completely unreliable.

So many things wrong starting with the management they charge me twice for a room once to Expedia and one through them at Day Inn so now they took $64 after Expedia already took it. I don’t wanna give me my money back. wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. Their breakfast only had like 23 things very bad.

Overall, a good hotel for the price. The younger man that ran the night desk was EXTREMELY RUDE, when I called about knowing which internet SSID was the hotel's. He actually condescendingly said \"I'm not going to tell you, and have a nice night\", before hanging up.

I know that staff have to deal with a lot of strangers (I LIVE in Ocean Shores, and just needed a \"break\"), but he didn't have to act like that. He MUST be one of the owners, because normally people like that would be out the door.

Microwave didn't work, displaying a weird pattern. I wanted to unplug and try to rest it, but didn't.

Killed about 5 mosquitoes, and one ended up in the refrigerator, to be disposed of in the morning. Not their fault, just the time of the year for them to appear...

Spa didn't work, but I have the Community Club, so...

Good bed, good rest. Good breakfast. Mediocre staff.

Lwt me start by sayin I am not one to leave reviews. However this was a bad experience. Upon check in the employee was rude. He was experiencing difficulties with the internet, which I had known about from going to a previous establishment(it was town wide). That was not a problem for me, as I understand when technology doesn't work how its supposed to, it can be annoying, and even delay your work. However he seemed like we were inconveniencing him. Even answering the phone, and taking a reservation while we stood there. Whenever I've checked into a hotel, yes they might take a call, usually placing them on hold and attending to those waiting in the
Lobby. We booked 2 rooms, the rooms had an oder, I put car air fresheners in the ac to help with that, (it didn't work). My room had water pooling on the floor from, I'm not sure where. The hot tub was down and the pool was very murky. The lobby was cluttered and dirty. So we didn't even attempt their breakfast. Would not stay here again. I felt like I was at a pay by the hour hotel motel.

There was a ton of parking, but it was also on a weekend where it wasn't a holiday.
On arrival the staff did let us in a couple hours early without any additional charges.Which was nice. The cleanliness of the room was okay.The walls weren't wiped down, they had fingerprints on them, And along the doors where you would open or close them, they were dirty. The breakfast was pretty good for just getting a quick bite. Although I wouldn't recommend long term stay here for a vacation, But maybe just a quick overnight, stay.

This is the type of motel people live in. Pulled in to no parking available but they're was broken down vehicles on the lot. Hot tub doesn't work, they don't tell you ahead of time which should be done, yet you still have to pay as if it was. Room was clean but outside there were people just loitering around and when I asked if it was where people lived the response was they can only 28 days. This place was terrible. The breakfast was just waffle mix and cereal and police cars were blocking both sides of the entrance to the lobby, they were there all morning in what seemed like dealing with people that lived there. This was ghetto and expedia was no help when I called after we left seeing I had been charged already after being told there would only be a hold on my card. I waited at the front desk, rang the little bell, and called and nobody came for me to pay cash for the room or talk to about how much of a let down it was.

NO. HOT. TUB. The very first thing I asked to use was their Hot Tub when we arrived. I had asked if it would be a problem to use their hot tub given We arrived in the middle of the night and an older lady disappeared into the back and brought to the front an exhausted clearly just woke up man to help us and get us in our room. he said that it was fine and we can use the hot tub. He did not share that the hot tub was drained and taped off. The pool was gross, it had a thick layer of dirt and dead skin at the bottom that was free floating. By the time I went to bring up my concerns, he was away from the desk again seemingly asleep. When I Asked about late check out, and the gentleman stated I can always ask for more time in the morning for 10 bucks an hour. No problem, thank you. I called in the morning TWICE. answered and ignored. I had to walk down to the office and ask, and once I arrived I attempted to ask about a late check out and I got cut off , he not only man-splained how long is left till check out as if I couldn’t read an analog clock, but repeated himself to me multiple times consecutively as if I didn’t speak English and had asked him something in German… I couldn’t even get a word in asking to extend my stay. He glared up at me as I walked away because he clearly wasn’t interested in speaking to me despite being at the office and acknowledging me. DISRESPECTFUL. -2/5 stars. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here in fear of a staph infection.

Hot tub was overly saturated with chlorine so for the rest of the evening we heavily smelled of it. The hot tub was very cloudy because of this. No towels in pool area as we left. Room keys barely worked, if at all, requiring us to go to the front desk a couple of times to get it fixed. Other guests were doing the same.

Otherwise, hotel and room is as expected for price point. Breakfast was fine and room was spacious for double bed. If you wanted to bring an air mattress you would have plenty of room to do so.

The room was decent, not very clean, garbage under the beds. The grounds were very dirty and cluttered. The worst was the pool, dirty, murky water, my kids found garbage and tons of hair and gunk in the water. Needed maintenance, worst was the hot tub. It was disgusting, green,slimy literally a swamp, it smelled and looked like a nuclear waste pond!. The poor man working the desk and caring for everything was the only employee working. He had to juggle it all, I felt terrible for him, the lineup at the desk was 5 people deep, not his fault. He was doing his best. But, was definitely stressed and unable to give any extra answers or help. It was so overwhelming that guests had to fumble through and try to find forks and other items for the meager breakfast. Not much food avaliable, it was grim and unsatisfactory. The syrup was empty, there was simply no food available, people would come in look for ANYTHING, the juice came out as water, the waffle mix, meager, no utensils, no fruit or amenities like a proper continental breakfast should be. Not a pleasant experience, if I had to stay any longer, I would request a refund. This was a subpar visit, mainly because of the overworked employee, the filth and clutter outside and in the pool area, the disgusting pool and unacceptable hot unclean rooms. Days inn-Wyndham, you can do better! This is a HUGE city for visitors it is known everywhere as a vacation area, do you want repeat customers or just figure no one will care? Terrible.

Clean rooms, pool and and property overall. Steven at the front desk is very kind and accommodating. Their breakfast was very lackluster and lacking. Everything was so from a box and nothing made from scratch. We would have appreciated something besides premade waffle batter like bacon, sausage or eggs; however, the price was good.

Hopefully Steven is paid his proper pay including overtime as he was stuck working around the clock as managers were out of town for several weeks.

Office staff was great, pool was great, little cold but y'know it's a pool lol
They were fast to fix the shower that sprayed the ceiling, that was nice.
But the toilet backed up, and I told the staff that was outside my room, and they brought me a plunger to do it myself. I didn't want to be responsible for it if something went wrong, that was bizarre to me. The heater seemed to only blow room temp air, not hot air so I called for extra blankets, and they brought them very fast so that was great. They did their best with what they had for breakfast. They dealt with a lot of Karen's from what I seen myself. So aside from being told to plunge it myself (only number one in there, no number two lol) and a cold heater, it was a good stay. The office staff was a good chat and helpful with everything we needed, and was great at keeping up with breakfast rushes and pool needs etc. I'll stay there again :) and we saw deer from our window in the mornings

I was really disappointed with this stay. The room felt outdated and didn’t appear clean. The bathroom was especially concerning — the tiles literally moved when you walked on them. The pool also clearly needs maintenance.

The bedding situation was unacceptable. The sheets on the bed had holes in them, and I ended up bringing in my own blankets and sheets just to feel comfortable.

To top it off, the front desk experience wasn’t great — the woman who checked us in was unfriendly and came across as rude.

The only positive is that it was cheap, but honestly, you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t stay here again.

To be honest, this was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Somehow the booking got messed up and we got moved to another room. I asked if there was going to be additonal charges for that and I was told no. The second morning, they tried charging my card twice yet no one in the office could tell me why it was happening. Then they tried to charge me again that night over double the first attempted charges. Even left a voicemail saying that we didnt pay so we had to leave. The next morning, i went down and talked to them again and they said they needed to have someone look it over. We waited for 3 hours just to have someone come to our door and say we are supposed to be gone. No one from managment could tell us what was going on. I went to the office again and didnt leave until i spoke with management. In the end, they ended up charging us 75 more dollars just to try to have one night out of the three we where in ocean shores for peace. I will never stay there again. The crap we had to deal with our entire vacation is making it very clear why this place was the cheapest. I would really appreciate if we could get some sort of discount or a full refund on our next booking. This was my first time booking a hotel ever in my life and its not fair the way it played out. I feel more stress then when i left on the vacation

As far as I'm concerned I want my money back. Toilet get clogged, no plunger, he used his hand and a cup. The floors were dirty, holes and stains in the sheets. It seemed more like apartments then a hotel. People out all hours of the night. Someone parked ( not in a spot) next to my Harley and hit it. No up keep of the property. The room and the entire building felt neglected. You could tell that guests with pets had stayed there previously and there was a soft spot in the bathroom from water damage. We felt incredibly unsafe and the walls were so thin, we could all hear each other. We stayed long enough to book a different hotel and left. Where to begin? Checked in 1 hr+ early, for which they charge you $10/hr. Mgr on duty took 20 minutes to check me in and needed assistance only to stick me in an old ADA room (I don't think it qualifies anymore since it has a tub). No cups in room, no alarm clock. View was of an unkept yard area with a junk car. Hot tub so cloudy that you couldnt see the bottom. Hot Breakfast? Consisted of a waffle maker and toaster. Whole milk only, no decaf coffee, no fruit. Truly pathetic. Staff unhelpful in all respects. Avoid this property at all costs.

The place was not perfect...but the cost was reasonable for a quick stay, and the beds were comfortable. It's close to the ocean...that's why we were there.

The front desk staff wanted $30 for early check in. When we said No we’d come back they said, how about $20. The shakedown was ridiculous. We said No again. The room seemed fine at 5pm but when it was time to get in bed the sheets were dirty with holes in them. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Needless to say, we passed on breakfast.

Site and room in poor condition: Rust, doors didn’t close right, and scalding hot water. Trashes around facility full. Housekeeping and handyman were arguing with front desk about “not being paid and no contracts.” The pool had no towels for guests and two chairs for the whole swim area. Staff at the front desk did not arrive on time many days to open breakfast and swimming area. They were not nice to guests. Worse experience at a hotel in a long time.

Long wait for check in. No clean blankets/ towels. Floor is dirty. Toilet is wobbly. Paint is peeling. Not a family friendly hotel. Won’t stay again. Looks like no one cares.

Walls were paper thin. I could hear the complete conversations with the mother and her chi lol dren next door. Breakfast was very limited and everything we wanted had to be refilled or we had to wait for it to be ready.

Loved the pool for the kids. The only issue I had was spider webs not being kept up with. The kids and spiders don't mix. Other than that great staff, had zero complaints. Store close by. Pool was warm enough. Very nice maid service. Extremely accommodating.
