The default cleaning is \"eco\" so the floor did not seem to be vacuumed between the first and second nights. We were not brought clean coffee cups for the second night. The front desk staff was helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. The location is very convenient. The beds were comfortable and the room warm.

When we arrived, the staff was friendly and warm. Check-in was quick and easy. The amenities bar was convenient! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning of our stay because the food was so delicious, reasonably priced, and staff was hospitable. Would love to stay here again in the future.

It was a cramped room but I suppose that's pretty typical of Tokyo hotels. Other than that, we pretty much loved everything about it. They have lots of nice amenities, including toiletries, a laundry facility, and a really nice breakfast buffet. It's a nice location too, 7/11 right next door, and train station down the street. The staff were really nice and friendly too. Would definitely stay again.

The location of this property was very convenient for getting around wherever we needed to go because of the Musashi-Kosugi train station right there. The Grandtree Mall right across the street with many shopping and dining options was also great. And of course the 7-11 across the street was also perfect for our needs. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Japan.

A business hotel near two train stations. We had the Deluxe room which was spacy, comfortable, and well maintained. It also has a bed that did not have one side against the wall. Very nice for both people.
Room had a fridge, hot water kettle, free bottled water, and A/C.
Surrounding area is busy with connections via bus and train. Large shopping mall and food court across the street. 7-11 across another side street. Free amenities in the lobby, which is on the Fifth Floor.
We felt the bed was comfortable.

I had an amazing stay and would give a perfect 5 stars in every aspect! The hotel had everything I needed, and the breakfast was fantastic—always filling us up before we hit 10k steps exploring Tokyo! 😂 The receptionists were incredibly polite and helpful, especially with assisting me in transferring my luggage to Osaka and my next hotel in Tokyo. The room was cozy, clean, and just right for two people. Plus, the location is unbeatable—so close to the station, groceries, and malls. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This property is located in a convenient location close to the train station and directly across the street from a 7/11. There is one train that leads directly to Narita airport as well.

There is shopping and restaurants nearby. By train, it is about 25 minutes to Shibuya.

The hotel is clean, spacious, and quiet and location is upscale. I would stay here again.

First time in Japan in fourteen years and this establishment was recommended to me. I would heartily second this recommendation. Rooms are small but clean—you are allowed to choose a cleaning schedule although a full cleaning is mandated every three days. I would definitely recommend the included breakfast option as the buffet is generous, stocked with many options, and attended by amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Friendly and helpful is how I would characterize all of my interactions here.

The hotel also has laundry facilities (get someone or an app to translate the instructions), though no irons in the rooms. (There is laundry service and apparently irons can be rented.) There are plenty of other free amenities available in the lobby, however. Drawbacks are few—the English language TV information was scanty and the noise of trains from the nearby JR station could bother some people. The flip side is that the location is incredibly convenient for travel, shopping, and dining. Great experience!

This hotel is not too far from the main attractions, between 20 minutes from Shibuya and 40 to Akihabara, but it was worth the price, the breakfast and service.
You are also really close to Yokohama and the Haneda airport.

The location was very good for where I needed to visit for the week. The property was fine for the money, functional and basic. I booked a \"Hollywood\" room and was very pleased I did as it was a very good size but heard from colleagues that their room was very small. Extremely helpful to have a room with washing machines. No lunch or dinner food options but there are plenty of options for both in the shopping centre over the road and in the surrounding streets.

The rooms were cozy and kept clean. We had a great views of Tamagawa from our room. Beds were very comfortable. There is free wi-fi. At check-in, you are given free bath salts and other goodies not available in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious, better than high quality hotels and more affordable. But it’s definitely toward more Japanese style breakfast.

The hotel is close to some malls, Lala terrace and Grand Tree. Lots of good food there and great shopping. Also close to newly opened 7-11, which was great. It operates 24/7.

Very close to both stations of Musashikosugi. If coming from Narita Airport, take Narita Express to Musashikosugi and the hotel is about 5 min walk. If coming from Haneda Airport, take the bus to Musashikosugi, and it’ll be about a 10 min walk.

Don’t go to Richmond hotels if you have kids!

This is one of the least family friendly hotels I have gone to in a long time. From the very start at the checkin, they were arguing that I had to pay for another breakfast even though I showed proof in my reservation confirmation that I had already paid for 5. They wouldn’t let up, keep in mind we’re talking about breakfast for a 7 year old, his meal was the one in question here. How Petty. We booked two rooms because I have three kids and only smoking rooms were left. My room smelled like smokers room which was expected but the kids room was so much worse. It smelled like and old Karaoke room. Also no extra bed for our third child, towel or tooth brush or breakfast for that matter. Mind you we paid for him. I saw the price hike up when I inputted him in the reservation. So for one night , two rooms $400, it wasn’t worth it. I think for a traveling business person this hotel would be fine but if you’re traveling with kids stay away from Richmond Hotels in Japan.

There are only 2 elevators for the hotel, which is designed to accommodate up to 373 guests. That's an unacceptably small ratio. The front desk is also on the 5th floor, which forces a long wait on the ground floor for the elevator. Any activity that requires the use of an elevator will be delayed by unreasonable waits for the elevator. The twin room we stayed in was comfortably spacious, but there was only a single Japanese 100V electrical outlet available for charging (instead of the modern setup with 1 electrical outlet + 1 USB outlet on each side of the bed). The worst part was the television set: it was absolutely unacceptable as even at maximum volume, I could barely hear the dialogue. I was rather disappointed in this particular Richmond hotel, given that it was far more costly than another Richmond property (and a non-Premier one) that I've stayed in (which had smaller rooms but otherwise superior in cost, amenities, and every other aspect). Richmond Premier Musashi-Kosugi feels a lot more dated than it should given that it was supposedly renovated in 2016. The staff and service were fine, but the infrastructure is an embarrassment to the group given the \"Premier\" in the branding.

Buy my own mistake I showed up at the wrong Richmond hotel than I had booked, I asked the girl at the front if it was the same company if she could stay the Richmond that I had come to my, she said it was the same company and she could change my reservation that was a big help. Both girls at the front desk spoke perfect English, which was not usually like experience at other hotels in Japan. They were both very helpful and restaurant recommendations and answering any questions I had. Staff was great the room was great, would definitely recommend it.

Very close to the Musashi-Kosugi train station which has a number of train lines connecting throughout Tokyo. The hotel is modern and the staff are extremely friendly. At check-in ( and throughout our stay) we were offered to select bath salts, lotions, hair products, after shave lotions, and more. Our room was very comfortable with a large bed, massage chair, and a built-in refrigerator. Also the Richmond Hotel Premier provides a local cell phone with free domestic and international calling ability as well as internet connection in each room. This was especially helpful as we navigated Tokyo. I would strongly recommend buying the breakfast ticket (you can do so at the front desk) as the buffet was a great mix of quality Asian and Western foods. You’re close to a large, upscale shopping center as well as other shops and restaurants. The staff is incredible and very customer service oriented, so if you have business in the area or want a hotel with access to trains and tourist activities then consider this hotel.
