Even though it was a 25-40 minutes train ride to mayor neighborhoods, it was a great stay, very quiet neighborhood with convenience stores like 7 eleven and family mart within walking distance and a dennys and McDonalds also near by and there was some some English speaking employees that were very friendly. Even as it was a very local area. Not very many tourist around there.

Place was clean and quiet. Instructions and process for self check in was easy to understand and. Few eateries, like Dennys, McDonald and Mos Burger are nearby within short walking distance for breakfast. Local supermarket and few combi shops also.

However, flooring and walls were thin so expect some noise from nearby units.

It was in a cute little neighborhood, location was nearby 2 stations within a 5 minute walk. The apartment itself was very cozy and supplied with all the things necessary to cook and relax. I would 100% stay here again with my next stay. It is a bit far from some of the touristy areas but given all the amenities it comes with, it’s definitely worth it.

Room was cleaned. You can also see Mt. Fuji from apartment outside the door(not inside room from window) from our floor. Bed was comfortable. Room was fair size.
Downsize is no staff onsite. When you need help, it’s only email to communicate. Thought it was convenient laundry machine was in room however it was broken and I ended up getting soaking wet clothes…ruins my day with dealing with wet clothes to get dried. I didn’t bother emailing them cause by the time cause every time I message something I get response next day so it was no use for us. If it wasn’t broken laundry machine, it’s probably not too bad stay, it was so unfortunate I had to spend hours to dealt with half done laundry. Cause of this I wouldn’t come back to stay with this hotel.

The room was exactly what we needed for our last days in Japan. Easy to find from the station we arrived, elevator in unit was a plus! Clean and accessible, had difficulty at first with check in tablets, but we communicated quickly with the e-mail correspondence staff and they got us checked in and fixed the tablets same day. Beds are very comfortable, area is quiet and residential. Grocery store nearby is a godsend! Way cheaper snacks options and home supplies to get. A must when doing short days!

The room that was pictured was not the room that we stayed in. Nevertheless, the room we stayed in was clean and had everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. If you want to experience everyday Japanese living, this hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood in Ota, Japan with 7-11, Family Mart, SEIYU Grocery, McDonalds and small restaurants nearby. The Shimomaruko Train Station is just a short walk away, and you are less than an hour away from the heart of Tokyo. There are 2 ladies that work there that make you feel at home, and as long as you follow the rules you should have an enjoyable stay there. The pricing was great, all we could've used was two extra pillows lol. Would definately stay there again.

Amazing stay with a lot to offer.

We loved this place! We were in Japan for 2 weeks and this was our favorite place that we stayed. It has good beds, a heater in the bathroom, a washer, kitchen with everything you need to cook, great instructions on how to get into the building, no loud neighbors and everything was wonderful. The only problem is the location. It is not close to a JR line, so if you buy the JR pass, you'll either need to walk 40 minutes to the nearest JR station or pay extra money to ride the local line.

Other than that one super minor thing, it was perfect. We loved this place and would absolutely stay here again, no questions asked.

We also really loved the neighborhood and the food options close by. The best Ramen of our trip was a 5 minute walk away.

We went to Tokyo on vacation recently and stayed here. Booked the property online and were very happy with it. The room is smaller than what we expected but it was in a beautiful neighborhood, close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The best part was the fact that its close to 2 train stations. Good for people who would explore the city through public transport. communication is amazing. Had an issue with faulty hair dryer and I was sent a new one the same day. Liked the fact that they had an instructions maual in the room explaining how appliances and switches work, with map to and from both airports. Overall we loved this place. Good for two people though. One drawback, the separate toilet is small and will be uncomfortable for anyone who is big or on larger side. My husband is 5'9 and he felt it was too crampy and small. Other than that, its an amazing place. Neat and well kept.

The property itself wasn’t bad if you just need a place to sleep, but my issue was that what was advertised on Expedia was not what we were getting. We were 6 people looking for spacious rooms and the images showed what was ideal, what wasn’t specified is that they only advertise the deluxe room and not the other rooms, so we did not know we were getting smaller rooms. Other than that there are no complaints about the property, check-in and check-out is easy and the amenities are the minimal of what you need if your planning to stay for a few days in Tokyo.

This isn’t a great place, It is very far out from main attractions even though train is 4 min walk from it but the ride to anywhere is pretty long. It is self check in, there is no cleaning services or any services for that matter.
We had our bags coming in from Osaka and when I contacted the hotel management they said you will have to sit and wait for them to come, which waisted our whole day of waiting till they got delivered.

I wouldn’t stay here again.

Check in and check out procedures are easy to follow. The admin too is very prompt to reply in my queries.

We just hope there is a luggage service option. Other than that our family had a wonderful time here.

Clean and efficient. 2 blocks from train line, grocery stores and a small amount of restaurants. Really anywhere you stay in Tokyo central you will be training it to each place you want to see. A little far to see the south end of Japan and so we will return. Hot water, big shower, efficient washing machine. Rice cooker kettle and microwave, small fridge. 2 burner stove. We found it suitable for our needs.

Our stay at this property for our first trip to Tokyo, Japan was wonderful! It is conveniently located nearby train stations that are walking distance as well as 7-Eleven and Family Mart stores. There are also nearby eateries and a grocery store just a few blocks away. We would highly recommend this property to anyone, especially families or solo travelers who are looking for a quiet place to stay with everything that you need. The smwll faded after 3 days but by then we had already decided to relocated as it was too small for us with long stay. No dryer onsite and sofa bed not good. The property is far from major tourist attractions. You need to take the train which is about 10 mins walk from the hotel. There is no staff to assist in the checkin and you can only checkin from the designated time.
It does have a mini kitchen and laundry. And the shower is separate from the toilet.

"We had an amazing stay at this place! While it's a bit far from Shibuya, the location is still super convenient with a 7-Eleven or Family Mart on almost every block, and train stations and a grocery store just a 5-minute walk away. The room was spacious enough to comfortably fit three people with large luggage. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the host provided clear instructions for everything. This place seems like an apartment building that has been converted to a hotel. It is located in the center of other apartment buildings and is wonderfully close to a couple train stations, a grocery store, convenience stores, and restaurants the izakaya, called Idekaya, is particularly good. The location of Voga Corte Chidorico is excellent.

As far as amenities, the place was well equipped. There was two beds, a washing machine, stove, fridge/freezer, and a shower area with a very deep bathtub. The balcony has a place to hang laundry to dry, and the shower/bath area can be used to dry laundry as well. The size was more than adequate and we stayed very comfortably.

The only negative I have is regarding the recycling, as we come from a place in the US that doesn't require sorting. There are only 2 bins in the laundry room and the signs and instructions weren't exactly clear on how to separate everything. Lack of recycling instructions is our only criticism.

We would definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet location. Apartment is clean and functional and reasonably roomy while being compact sized. No front desk, but staff a three minute walk .was responsive by email. Loved the convenience of an en-suite washer. Kitchen is usable and functional. Immediate area has a rural feel. A very good supermarket is only 3 minutes walk away. The apartment was immaculately clean, and had all the facilities needed for a 5 day stay. The transport links are great - 20 mins to Gotanda and from there easy access to Shibuya, Harajuku etc, and 10 mins to Kamata and from there onto Tokyo centre or Yokohama. Local grocery shops on the quiet street.

For those who read the reviews and worry about checking in, it’s really not difficult.
First you’ll need to digitally upload a photo to the website when you book - you’ll get a link to do this. You’ll be emailed the front door pin and your room pin a day or so before staying. At the property itself you just take selfies and fill in your details. The lobby door is open all the time. I suspect those who had difficulty perhaps did not check their emails but it really is not hard!

Property manager was very helpful the one time I bumped into him at the property. So thank you to him!
Otherwise there is never anyone there to help. I contacted customer service for assistance on a few issues and they were not helpful with any of the issue's ,eg: toilet paper we were given 4 rolls for 3 people for 2 weeks, they told me to “go and buy more myself.” Very strange and rude to me

The check in system they have in place is definitely not convenient, especially after a long day travelling! We arrived at 10pm, if it wasn’t for another guest, we would have been left locked out till morning.
