The hotel was in ok condition, the walls were paper thin even though I was in a corner unit away from the elevators I could still here every door slamming and everyone's conversation in the hallway.
Also, the gym is really small and barely has any equipment.

My recent stay at the hotel was deeply disappointing due to a lack of professionalism of the the hotel staffing. I booked through Expedia, specifically seeking a pet-friendly hotel, but there was no mention of needing a vaccination card for my dog. After driving for 7 hours and arriving at 9:30 PM, I was informed by the manager on duty that I could not stay without the vaccination card. I explained that this requirement was not disclosed during the booking process, but the manager was unhelpful, dismissive, and offered no solutions.

When I asked for a refund, I was told it was not possible because the reservation was made through Expedia and that I needed to file a complaint with them. Despite several attempts to resolve the issue, the manager showed no willingness to assist or provide alternatives. Only after I requested to escalate the matter to his supervisor was I finally allowed to write a statement attesting to my dog’s vaccination status—a solution that, as I later learned, was standard policy for such situations.

The next morning, the front desk staff confirmed that a written statement was an acceptable alternative to the vaccination card, which made it clear that the entire ordeal could have been avoided. This experience highlights a clear lack of training and professionalism in handling guest concerns. I hope the hotel takes steps to improve its staff training to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Great property. The bed is very comfortable. My room had a balcony which was very nice. The only thing is I don’t think they get a lot of foreign tourist because they’re debit machines do not work with foreign cards and their Internet is also made up so you sign in with your Brazilian identification so it’s harder for tourist to navigate.

The woman that checked me in was incredibly slow they couldn’t connect me to the Internet because I didn’t have Brazilian documentation. I had my passport. It was almost like they’ve never seen a foreigner before. Apart from the check in lady who was incompetent everything else has been excellent.

I thought our stay was very average and likely wouldn't stay here again. The language barrier presented more service challenges here than I've encountered in any other non-English speaking country I've visited. I had a friend staying in a nearby hotel who also doesn't speak Portugeuse, and she had a much better experience (easier service, more attentive to guests, and more accomodating). My guess is that Mercure would be a better experience for a Portuguese speaker.

I expected more

Many cable channels didnt work. Shower drain was clogged up. The sofa bed was rough to sleep in. Not comfortable at all. I was expecting more for being a high end hotel in a high end neighborhood. Check in was very slow and we had to pay some weird fee not mentioned anywhere !

Chegamos mais cedo do horário programado para o check in e os staffs não permitiram a nossa entrada mesmo com quarto disponível. Tivemos que pagar parte de uma diária + 5%. Como estávamos cansados do voo, pagamos o valor que nos foi cobrado. A grande maioria dos hotéis são mais maleáveis quanto ao check in mais cedo, caso haja disponibilidade sem cobrança. O que não foi ocorreu.

Sadly I cannot recommend the Mercure. The staff was awkward towards us and would often ignore our family in favor of native speaking guests even while in line. While I highly recommend the restaurant downstairs and the breakfast, a majority of the staff in which we interacted with needs to take notes from the staff at the Radisson just a few blocks down the road.

They added charges to our rooms and were caught by surprise we actually reviewed them. They apologized a thousand times… but clearly they like to take advantage of foreign guests.

My suggestion for the Mercure team, etiquette and awareness. If you are paying top dollar you expect top results. Paying the same price at the Radisson and it’s a stark contrast in favor of the Radisson.

Stayed same hotel like 3 weeks before, and the elevators did not work.

My secretary told me to give another chance, for on night only. The check in was normal, I was given the keys for the room and being so tired I went to sleep fast.

Wake up 1AM sneezing smelling are odor, realized that they gave me a \"smokers room\", when my profile on Le Club makes very clear that my preference is non-smoking, I see an ashtray on the counter and realized that was the reason for my discomfort.

The front desk people don't seem to care, they don't smile don't greet customers with enthusiasm, it seems like there is a morale problem. When I voiced my concern next morning they didn't seem to care!! so it goes 2 for 2, my last time there.

First 2 mornings elevators did not work, I waited 10 minutes and took the service elevators. used by housekeepers. Went to front desk to complain got some blank stares. Not engaged at all.

After breakfast, same situation, one would think that they would put a sign saying, OUT OF SERVICE, but again they were too busy talking amongst themselves.

called room service 4AM, took 20 minutes to answer. Coffee and Milk waited another 20 minutes to get it. Complained they took off the bill. The only hotel I've seen that makes you wait 40 minutes for coffee,

Mattress soft, needs to be replaced, cigarette burns on floor on a non smirking room!!!!

The hotel doesn't have \"culture of service\" except for one girl who made the check late evening.

Having stayed in Mercure hotels across Brazil we were very surprised at the condition of our original room. I immediately raised my concerns with the reception team and thankfully the customer service is first rate. A genuinely concerned and very polite gent addressed all of my concerns and provided us with a new room which he personally inspected in advance. When refurbished the hotel should be as good as the other Mercure hotels in Brazil.

Nice place to stay

The hotel is good and in a great location which is hy we chose it. We were in town for the weekend and needed easy access to this general area. The staff was plesant and te room (2br suite) was large enough for us. It was clean and had the microwav and fridge we needed, however it was lacking a few basics for the kitchen that should be included with a room having a kitchen. The biggest issue was that it is on the main street and the windows in the hotel are very old and thin, so there was a LOT of street noise. With a 2yr old in our room the noise kept him awake for a while as it did for us when we went to sleep. also, we called for help withth eluggage when checking out but no one arrived so had to take all the bags ourselves without a cart. I am sure we could have buged them to help but after waiting 10mins we just had to leave. Overall a good rating, call it 3.8 out of 5.

It is a good hotel. Not amazing, but good. People are friendly but there are many problems with the service. They never came to get the dish after I ordered room service. The gym has some good stuff but not all machines were working properly. The food is good. The hotel location is perfect. And that's all.

It is an okay hotel in Curitiba

For the price, you get what you pay for. The area is okay. You have to walk or take cabs to get anywhere, so it isn´t that convenient. I did not feel that welcomed by the staff and they speak very little English, so it was hard to communicate.

A equipe da recepção, com exceção ao pessoal que carrega malas e aos manobristas, não demonstra o interesse algum em atender bem.
Além disso, o nosso quarto era extremamente barulhento por conta do som da rua. Incompatível um hotel de rede ter esquadrias com tão pouca atenuação acústica em uma área central.
No mais, o hotel é limpo, o café da manhã impecável.
Não ficaria novamente no entanto.

A primeira coisa que a gente vê é o banheiro, pia suja, sequer foi passado um pano!! No chão à frente do frigobar estava cheio de sujeira. O café da manhã achei fraco, nao tinha salame, não tinha bacon... somente o báciso, o café da manhã mais fraco de todos os hoteis que já fiquei. No geral minha nota é 6.5.

Começando pelo atendimento do pessoal recepção, Fábio, Jonathas, Gabriel, entre outros, educadíssimos e atenciosos.

Café da manhã maravilhoso como sempre, variedade, sabor, a cordialidade e simpatia da equipe de funcionários, todos eles.

O gerente, Diego, sempre atencioso e gentil.

E mais uma vez, destacamos o senhor Raimundo, que dessa vez nos atendeu também no restaurante na hora do jantar, educadíssimo, com uma simpatia contagiante.

Somente alguns pontos nos deixaram frustrados desta vez: a limpeza do quarto (a poeira continuava embaixo da cama e nos móveis, mesmo depois da manutenção, infelizmente, diferente das nossas últimas hospedagens no hotel), sem desmerecer, claro, o conforto e silêncio do quarto, que é muito bom. A piscina (estava suja, água turva), mesmo com o calor, não conseguimos aproveitar. E o bebedouro da academia (a água estava com gosto ruim), com o filtro precisando de troca.

No mais, o Mercure Curitiba Batel é maravilhoso, perto de tudo, fácil acesso, em um dos bairros mais lindos e tranquilos de Curitiba. Vale a pena cada segundo da hospedagem. Em breve estaremos de volta. Um forte abraço em todos!

A estadia foi horrível. Para começar, solicitei um quarto para três pessoas, sendo um dos hóspedes uma criança de um ano. Já em deslocamento de outro estado para o hotel, fui informada de que não havia berço disponível. Nenhuma alternativa viável foi oferecida; a única sugestão foi que a criança dormisse na cama dos pais.
Além disso, os elevadores apresentaram problemas durante toda a estadia. Como o hotel estava bastante cheio, isso dificultou ainda mais os deslocamentos.
Não recomendo a ninguém.

O Mercure Curitiba Batel é o melhor hotel em que já nos hospedamos em Curitiba.

Desde o atendimento da recepção até o cuidado com a manutenção diária do quarto, o hotel é excelente.

Café da manhã imbatível, variedade, tudo fresco a todo momento, a cordialidade da equipe de funcionários, a limpeza, o bom gosto, realmente um dos melhores cafés de hotel que já tomamos. O gerente, Diego, extremamente atencioso e gentil.

Destaque para o senhor Raimundo, muito simpático e educado, que cuidava do café, mas que também nos serviu um jantar incrível, que aliás é outro ponto em que chamou muita a nossa atenção, a comida, muito saborosa.

O hotel é grande, com todas as categorias de quarto que cumprem o que é mostrado nas fotos, entrega lazer com piscina aquecida e uma academia bem completa.

Quarto confortável, acolhedor, com todos as amenidades de qualidade. A arrumação diária, feita pela Rhina, foi de extremo cuidado e zelo.

Hotel perto de tudo, de fácil acesso, em um dos bairros mais charmosos de Curitiba. Vale a pena cada segundo da hospedagem. Já queremos mais!

Chegamos na sexta a noite, depois de 7h40 de viagem, chegamos no quarto, não tinhamos a cama da minha filha de 8 anos, nem cama, nem toalhas, pedimos a cama, eles disseram que não podiam fazer nada. No outro dia, a atendente quis me cobrar pela cama, pq não pedi antes, mas inclui a minha filha na hora da reserva, como vou saber que não ia ter a cama? Ela isentou a cobrança, mas gerou o transtorno de passar uma noite nós 3 na mesma cama, depois de uma viagem cansativa. Café da manhã e ducha excelentes.
