We stayed here 1 night only as our flight from Sydney arrived after 8pm into KIX and we specifically looked for something close to KIX, it is only a quick train ride 2 stops and then another for 1 stop( 15mins in total) and a short easy walk, we loved the hotel, the room was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and it was close to the waterfront to go for a walk the next morning and watch the local fish market with kids catching fish on the Sunday morning, it's a bit far out to stay here as a base for sightseeing around Osaka and Kyoto etc but we would definitely stay 1-3 nights next time to explore the surrounding area a bit more before heading into Osaka

Beware before booking if you need an airport hotel. The property advertises themselves as an Airport Hotel on Expedia but when you reach the building it is called Apartment Hotel 11 not Airport Hotel 11. There is no airport shuttle offered anymore in contrary to previous reviews. Your options are an expensive 50$ taxi or taking the train two stops and then transfer to another platform, go counter direction for one stop and then walk for half a mile through a residential area before reaching, or take a cab from the station. SO IT IS NOT AN AIRPORT HOTEL!!! This was also confirmed by the receptionist who was quite surprised that we came “all the way from the airport”. The room itself was as seen on the photos: clean, had an AC, no fridge.

Loved that three people could travel and have their own individual beds. The room was very nice but did not have a closet or dresser to put out your clothes. They also had a shuttle service for an additional one time cost that would take you out to their other hotels located in the heart of Osaka in Namba. Overall we had a great trip.

2. Before reserving information includes, shuttle to hotel upon phone call, BUT after reservation was done (sale is final, non refundable) the info sent shows a shuttle only once an hour

We only stayed here 1 night after arriving at Kansai Airport (15mins drive) and a free shuttle is provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful – it was surprising to be greeted by name when I walked into reception which started the good impression.

Rooms are quite small, but perfectly fine for 2 people. The bed was comfortable (even if the pillows a bit thin). The shower was hot and powerful, with good quality shower jell/shampoo and a full compliment of toiletries.

Breakfast was included and there was an eclectic range of good quality Japanese and Western options on the buffet.

If I fly through Kansai in the future I would definitely stay here again and I think it was actually the best hotel of the trip.

Needs better shuttle info

Far from Rinku Town but a great value for a very new, clean, hip and modern basic hotel. The breakfast was a nice touch. Airport shuttle was not easy to locate. Info desk wasn’t sure where the shuttle would come. Other bus drivers were not sure either. Not enough shuttles. If you miss one, it’s a long time until the next one and if you go to the wrong bus stop it’s impossible to run fast enough to the correct place so you will definitely miss the shuttle if you don’t know exactly the correct bus stop. Be careful about that!

We decided to stay here because we had an early flight and the hotel offered free shuttle bus service to the airport. Hotel is nice and new. There are a lot of shops within walking distance -combinis, Maxvalue, a pharmacy and Bookoff, as well as restaurants. The hotel also offered a really nice spread for breakfast.

Be aware of “free shuttle” service

The rooms are spacious, nicely designed and comfortable. However, if you rely on free shuttle service as us, be aware that the shuttle service starts at 6:30 am and runs around every hour or two. If you have an early flight as us, you wont make it by the shuttle. The only solution is a taxi for you. As the receptionists dont really speak English, it makes your planning harder. We were first said to go to catch a taxi at the train station, in the morning another receptionist was surprised we didnt order a taxi to the hotel (previous one claimed its impossible).

Due to bad situation but hotel still try to provide service but we can't use shuttle bus to go to the air port make us difficult to use JR Pass.
Hotel should provide transportation to the train station near by or any JR station for those customers.
We have to stay in the hotel without electricity so no light and air conditioning is provided more than 10 hours.

Great place for a stop over

We arrived at Kansai airport from Australia late at night, the free shuttle was easy to find from the instructions from the hotel prior to leaving Australia. It picks up about on the hour. The hotel was nice and very well maintained, breakfast was great and another delightful part was the free shuttle ride up to their hotel in the shinsaibashi next morning, we weren't even staying at their hotel but saved as some more money and time. These are things that help make your trip, so thanks very much to them. By the way it is not very far to Osaka underwater world and huge Ferris wheel from this hotel.

Room ok, breakfast ok, shuttle bus ok but ... location is bad . Nothingto do or see around . Hotel restaurant opens for breakfast only.. i prepaid a twin room way back in march but unintentionally failed to enter 2 adults . When we recentlyarrived i was charged extra forty dollars because i brought my husband . I paid in total way more than if i just walked in without prior reservation.

It's rare you get a hotel in Japan as spacious without paying a ridiculous amount. The included breakfast was also a lot better than the normal fare at common business hotels. The only downside is the location is a bit trickier to get to but they offer shuttle buses to Kansai airport.

Need Info about Airport Transfer

The Hotel offer an Airport Transfer, but nobody know where to get the bus, even Info counter at the airport. No sign at Bus Stop, nothing!! Tried to call, but with broken English it was difficult. At the end, decided to take a taxi and paid lots of money for it. The transfer was not even mentioned on their website or booking info.

Hotel was new and clean, not far from Outlet Shopping, but to walk in the evening in the cold was not funny. No chance to get a taxi to come back to the hotel. It was a nightmare.

I just stopped over for 1 night before my departure flight back home

Excellent New Hotel Near Osaka KIX Airport

I stayed here for one night as I had an overnight layover at Kansai (KIX) airport. I chose the hotel because of its convenience to the airport, good reviews and apparent value for money.

I was not disappointed. The hotel is new and modern in design and the staff are very helpful. Check in was a breeze and I was in my room within a few minutes of arriving at the hotel. My single room on the second floor was bright, modern and airy, exceptionally clean and of a reasonable size. The double bed was comfortable with nice soft pillows, allowing for a good night's sleep. There was also a modern bathroom with a nice large shower.

There was a large flat-screen TV with cable channels such as BBC and CNN, and the free wifi worked well, as did the electric jug and free Japanese tea.

The free buffet breakfast was quite expansive, with a good range of Japanese and some western food.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would certainly stay again. The value for money was excellent.

However, there was just one negative as far as I was concerned. This related to the free shuttle from the airport, which only runs every 2 hours or so. I had a problem finding exactly where the shuttle bus stop was, as I was given conflicting advice when I asked airport staff members. As a result I missed the shuttle and had to catch a train to the station close to the hotel (a 10 minute walk). Not a major problem, but a little inconvenient and time consuming.

Great hotel!

The hotel was in pristine condition, which makes sense considering it was built this year! I was pleasantly surprised that the staff spoke English when I had trouble with my Japanese ability. The check in and out process was very easy, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! The only drawback was that the beds were hard as a rock. Besides that, I had a great stay, and I would stay here again.

静かだし車も置けて清潔。ただ荷物置くスペースもなく狭い。飲み物、ブラシ、着替えなどないから、ちょっと慌てた。部屋を確認する写真が少なすぎてイメージが掴めなかった。エアコンの設定が16℃強風のままで、設定を変えるのに時間がかかった。途中クーラーから水が滴る音が耳について寝られなかった。温度を上げたら直った。泊まる客が帰ったら設定は普通に直すべき！

翌日のフライト時間が早いので、家族で前泊利用させていただきました。
正直、あまりの安さに期待はしていませんでしたが、部屋の綺麗さとオシャレさに驚きました。
シャンプー類、ボディソープなどもメナード商品で統一されており、とても良かったです。
お風呂は、バスタブは無いですが、暑い時期だったのでシャワーで十分でした。
フロントの方も気さくな感じで良かったです。
とても気分よく泊まれました。ありがとうございました。
