Jerry who checked us in on Monday afternoon at 3pm was excellent. The woman at the desk this morning not so much. We would stay here again. It is difficult for service oriented companies to find quality people who can take a suggestion and make it an opportunity to convey the customer’s message was heard and welcomed.

Unfortunately, I had accidently booked the wrong type of room so I ended up having to purchase another room, paying twice as much, nearly $500 for 1 night stay was not ideal. But the room was clean, comfortable, we had no isssues.

I don't remember the last time I had such kind guest service. We were able to bring our dogs to the hotel with us and they were exceptionally accommodating.

How should I describe how awful of an experience that I had at this Hotel? To begin, I selected this hotel after reading the reviews of how quiet it was, and what a good night's sleep everyone enjoyed here. I am here to say that this was the exact opposite of my experience. Typically, this happens because of rude guests in other rooms making noise, or even mechanical issues--but the problems here were entirely caused by the staff being negligent.
I drove 14 hours total over 2 days and was exhausted upon arrival. At check-in, I was given a piece of paper to fill out with my auto's information for the parking pass. I replied that I would need to go check the plate as it was a rental. The desk worker assured me that it was not needed. At 11p, an hour into sleep I received a call that my \"dome light is on.\" I go to the lot in the middle of the night to discover it is not my car whose lights were on. Bad enough, but forgiveable I guess. At 1 AM, there was a pounding on my door, I got scared, as I guess there must be a fire or other emergency. When I look out the peep hole, it is a hotel employee saying \"I have the water you ordered.\" I DID NOT ORDER ANY WATER! I DID NOT CALL HIM! OMG I was furious to be woken up for now a 2nd time by these careless people. I have never experienced anything like this. Needless to say, I took me forever to fall back asleep, and indeed my day was ruined on my trip because I was exhausted from lack of sleep. What an absolute nightmare!

Came back to the hotel Saturday after a long day looking forward to watching some football. The tv did not work, so I went down to the front desk. The person at the desk said, “well I can see if maintenance is available.” And did not ask for my name or room number so clearly had no intention of trying to resolve the issue. I persisted and said, would you like my name and room number?” He replied disinterested, “oh yeah”. Never heard from anyone the rest of the night so I was unable to watch tv as I’d hoped.

Had a pleasant stay at Candlewood Suites. The property was notably quiet, which made for restful nights - a real plus for business travelers or anyone wanting good sleep. The bed was comfortable with a quality mattress and pillows that actually provided proper support.
The standout feature was definitely the in-room kitchen. It was well-equipped and spacious enough to prepare actual meals, not just reheat leftovers. Having a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, and dishwasher made the extended stay feel much more like home.
Overall, a solid choice for longer stays when you want the convenience of cooking your own meals in a peaceful environment.

The property was very nice, hotel was very clean. We drove from Illinois for a Funeral and didn't realize when we booked the room that it had a small kitchen in it, which we did not need. Which were wondering why it didn't have free breakfast like the other hotels around. Also, we stayed for 2 nights and were surprised the room wasn't cleaned and no fresh towels for the next day. Other than that, the room was nice and the staff was very pleasant.

We arrived to a warm and friendly hotel clerk that called us by name each time we saw him. The hotel is a little dated and doesn’t offer a morning breakfast, but there’s a Starbucks and DD very nearby. This is the second time we’ve stayed there and would likely return.

Surprising small negatives.

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and when I need ed a place to stay overnight to have a surgery I had on Wednesday checked by the doctor on Thursday and at the last minute we had to take a puppy we had just adopted. The hotel was incredibly accommodating and enthusiastic about our puppy who had just had his leg removed so it was stressful for all of us. I was surprised at the size of the room and the mini kitchen and full size refrigerator and dishes and silverware and I could go on. The one thing that did surprise me or I would have given it five stars is with all this beautiful modern appearance. There was not a single place to charge my phone which because we used it to find our way there had gone dead. My daughter sat in the parking lot outside the room and charge the phone in the car in 17° weather. At night. We will have the same situation in February and will choose the same hotel but we will bring a charging cord and a charging plug. Otherwise it was top notch. Except, my daughter complained that the pool was cold. The desk said the temperature was 80° which my daughter was excited about until she realized that 80° is almost 20° below body temperature so it was cold. Otherwise, five star!

My plan was to find accommodations that allowed dogs, i google searched this. Candlewood hotel showed up. I saw that pets are welcome. I saw the rate was $210. For the night. It mentioned a rate increase for 2 queens and for a king, it mentioned taxes. Nowhere did it mention a $75. Extra cleaning fee for the dog. I was very disappointed that this was not upfront displayed.
