The room was fine. Primarily rented the room for use of the pool that was advertised open. The pool area lights were turned off and when turned on, many bulbs were out-the pool water was super cold and we asked the staff to turn on the heater-there was no heat on in the pool area either. Staff said that the heater needed 2 days to heat the pool, and stated he could not turn it on without his managers approval, and she was in Florida. While the children froze trying to swim, staff came out and the same man stated that actually the heater was broken. Another time that day he came and said it was an unheated pool.
Obviously these are all lies as they did not want to use the pool heater. We used it until the kids were too cold and left until the next morning. We returned to swim again but again no heat was to be had. This hotel is not being honest about the pool. We were quite disappointed. I read another review that spoke of the pool and had a similar experience. Just bad business.

Really clean room, staff is super friendly, kids were sad the indoor pool wasnt open. Biggest complaints was the smell of the water, very minimal pressure of water in the shower ( dont wash your hair the shampoo wont come out) and the beds were hard as a rock. I would stay here again but definitely bring stuff to prepare for these minor issues.

I chose This hotel for the heated pool ,which 2as Not heated . And for the sauna that was advertised. Wasnt a sauna ,just a cold room . In the room ( which was clean ) had to fill tub with shower. Fixture issues .

It was very hard and had the smell of iron and there were water stains in the shower. I think they need a better water treatment system. Only stayed one night and it was good for a short stay.

Cons: The floor and room was clean in general. However, the microwave was dirty and smelly. And the worst was the water! It smelled rusty and had an overall bad smell and feel. The shower head was full of rust and we could not take an actual shower or wash our hands in the sink, or use the water for anything. They need to change out their old pipes and have the water tested.
Pros: The staff were very nice. Location is convenient right off the interstate.

Stayed here for a few days for work. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the room was satisfactory for the price. I wish the television was bit more modern with options for chromecast or connecting to my streaming services. The restaurant right next door is surprisingly good and I'd recommend it to anyone that stays here if they want a good dinner. If I'm ever in the area I'll stay here again and be happy I saved some money coming here vs some more expensive options.

The room was clean, however it pretty sub par. The shower and tub faucet had bad leaks. The fan/heater would make weird noises. The bed sounded like sleeping on a baking pan due to the metal (!!) base. The parking lot/highway noise was so loud and the room alarm went off at 3:45 am. Would be nice if the doors faced away from the road to help with noise. I didn’t get breakfast but my kid said it was granola bars, packaged muffins and juice/coffee (no fruit? Oatmeal? Cereal?) I couldn’t tell where all the noise was coming from (upstairs/next door/outside) but sleep was something to be desired but not attained. It didn’t feel super safe either. Maybe just people from the restaurant/bar next door making noise but it was one of the worst hotel experiences. The upsides-there was a mini fridge and microwave, plenty of hot water and no carpet, which was nice for people with allergies and pets. But the smell of strong, floral-y cleaner was really overpowering and didn’t help my sinus issues. Next time I’ll bring an eye mask, noise machine and extra blanket (the air/heat was too noisy to run)

The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Our first room, the toilet wouldn't flush and the phone didn't work to call the front office. We called the front desk from our cellphone to let them know. The clerk came to us with a new room key. The room was a little nicer however, I don't think they sweep or mop the floor everyday or every stay. Also the bathtub was a little iffy so we stood on a towel.

The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. No one came to straighten up our room and get more towels on our second day. The sheets and pillows were stained and so was one of the towels. The shower was yellow and looked very unclean. Toilet is tiny and so low to the ground. The fridge was nice to have. There was also a Kleenex wedged into the peep hole of the door. No idea how long it’s been there but we didn’t want to touch it. If the room was half the price we paid then it wouldn’t be so bad but I didn’t expect to feel grossed out for $200/night.

A WET floor to die for!

When i told staff about leaky sink and constantly wet floor I was told there is nothing that can be done. My floor remained messy the entire time. When leaving the hotel there was no luggage cart so i had haul all the luggage out by hand. Upon entering the building I fell and hurt myself. The clerk did ask if i was ok, instead she offered me paper towels to clean up my mess. After checking out i got a glass of apple juice. I was quickly reminded- no juice after checkout. This is by far the worse hotel experience I have ever had.

Property is close to an excellent restaurant. Easy on/off the freeway.
Management is poor. Problems with door lock everyday. They had to replace the entire lock mechanism. Frequently had to kill bugs in the room. Toilet ran the entire time. Power went out for half day, we decided to leave two days early, management said they couldn't credit me for two days remaining on reservation. Horrible.

It’s a motel. Run down and not cared for well. Room offered had a filthy tub with clogged drain and running toilet. Second room offered had broken toilet seat.

Breakfast consisted of a packaged muffin, water bottles from Costco and bottom five coffee’s I’ve had in my life.

Indian ownership which of course meant all Indian staff. Make your own conclusions.

Not the most pristine, had a few stains on bed linens. The shower/bath converter toggle didn’t work, but someone came and fixed it within minutes of requesting it. In the lobby there was coffee and juice but only bottled water. We would have liked a source to fill up our reusable bottles. Overall, it did the job of providing us a night’s stay but nothing to write home about.

Fixtures falling off walls. Stains on sheets. Dirt in the beds. Toilet seat falling off. Had two rooms both were in the same shape. Shower did not work because the faucet was calcified to only fill the tub. Wouldn’t take a bath because the tub was so dirty. Garbage stuffed in the chairs. Lady at front desk didn’t want to give us clean sheets or change our rooms. Photos of rooms condition are too large to add to review.

We were stranded after having car broke down and decided to stay a couple more days until we got a ride home. The staff were really friendly and i felt very secure and safe. If we needed anything we were just supposed to ask. The pool was not heated.

Worst Review I've Left, and I've Reviewed Plenty

Room missing coffee supplies & towels; made me go out in rain to get them from office. Coffee maker turned out inoperative, anyway. Then, found dead bugs in both beds and on floor, and we finally moved to another room. I asked in morning for compensation for the multiple problems and manager's response was .that I could have left in middle of night for refund, but since I stayed they would do nothing for me. Wrong answer. Problems can happen anywhere but test of management is how they respond to them. This place failed miserably. BTW, I have completed dozens of reviews and have never had to leave one like this.

Perfect for what I needed and better than expected! I knew it would be highway adjacent, which doesn't bother me (perfect bedtime white noise). Chose it because it had a pool - the pool was chilly but the pool and its room were clean and nostalgic, and our pleasant surprise was the SAUNA! I wasn't expecting much, but it's a classic dry sauna stove with rocks, and it kicked out the heat beautifully and the sauna space smells like warm wood, just the way it should.

All around tickled by friendly staff, clean rooms, useful spaces, and convenient location. Little things like a fallen towel hook didn't jam me up. I will choose this stop again!

Due to michigan graduation weekend i got charged like a $200/night hotel so i will review it like one. Dirty...carpets/bedding...toilet ran constantly or i had to remove back lid to flush toilet. \"Breakfast\" was kirkland muffins, granola bars, bottled water, juice and coffee. Very noisy due to being so close to route 23. Property is run down. If you can sleep on top of a highway and can get a room here for 50 bucks.. enjoy. staff were pleasant.

As soon as I got there the first question was do you still want and need the handicap room. Then I go to my room and the heat isn't on and the temperature was in the 30's. I go into the bathroom it has handrails but the toilet isn't handicap height, which is part of the reason for the handicap room. The mattress on the bed was hard as a rock and the pillows weren't comfortable either. I was only staying for 2 nights so I put up with it. It was very convenient for getting gasoline and onto the Expressway. Not sure if I would stay there again.
