Well the A/C was broken in both of the rooms we were put in. They were quick to allow us to switch rooms but by the time we packed everything up and moved rooms just to realize the second room was having the same issue it just wasnt worth going back to the front desk. The woman at the front desk was more than accommodating with the switching of rooms when we brought it up though. The staff was wonderful.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We didn't eat any of the breakfast, but it was waffles, cereal and some fruit. We also did not use the pool and the hot tub was out of order. We did have some other guests on our floor that were beinng very loud and banging on doors from about 1:30 am to 3:30 am. We made 2 calls down to the front desk after the second call someone did come up and say something, but they didn't stop. Which was really frusterating as we had to be up at 6 am for a race the next morning. Over all it was an ok stay.

The property needs some updating and system repairs for the in room heating/cooling. The property also smelled heavily of smoke - cigarette and weed smoke so that was gross. The staff apologized profusely and didn’t try to make excuses, they just tried to make it right. We ended up in a much better room that was clean and functioning as expected. Friendly employees and overall experience. Just hope they enforce the no smoking policy in the future.

The breakfast menu was great. I did not use the bar. The hot tub was permanently closed, the pool was okay but not great water movement making it a bit dingy. The first room we booked the toilet was not attached to the floor, they put us in a different room that had a “hot tub” in the room yet it did not work. We had to go get towels and bath products daily as they didn’t bring them or clean our room. The original room was a 2 bedroom suite (no door on room) the second room was just a sleep pull out couch with a thin dirty mattress. The pictures online make the hotel look great, it is definitely old and needs updated.

Someone came to our room later at night not in uniform and only said “front desk” as I looked through the peephole… I tried calling the front desk on our room phone, got put on hold. I tried to call from 2 other outside lines one was on hold for 20 minutes the other was never answered… when they finally answered the front desk said there was no one that would have come to our room but then after I described who I saw through the peep hole the story changed to it being her houseman and he was looking for a leak… it was really strange and freaked out my girlfriend. The Wyndham was nice but that was super strange.

This is a large property. Breakfast was good although coffee was rarely really hot. Room was good but if your room faces the highway, the windows do not insulate the highway sounds. The entrances were not clean—leaves, debris and in need of a major power wash.

The main amenities were broken, pool and hot tub, which is why we booked this stay. The place didn’t have any carts to use to load our items. Breakfast was great though, i loved the selections and the layout of the place was awesome. The room wasn’t super clean in the bathroom, looked like leftover sticker gems like a heart and glitter on the floor and when i wiped the ground the towel was black. The shower curtain didn’t hold any water in the shower so the whole floor was soaked and the fan for ventilation didn’t work so it was extremely hot to shower, and the toilet wouldn’t stop running for 6 hours while we left. it kept randomly running new water it was odd. our neighbors across the hall screamed almost all night. the beds and blankets and pillows were awesome and the set up of the room was cool. the view of the trash can wasn’t very nice but it was still fun.

From the first encounter with the front desk staff, who looked like she just rolled out of bed and was extremely unpleasant and unknowledgeable about the most basic features of the hotel, the stay was terrible and not worth the money.

Almost everything was broken, from the hot tub to the elevators to the clothes dryer.

The pool area had several hair weaves scattered around it from a previous guest. These were not cleaned up for days. The overall vibe was an extremely dated and tired hotel that either is extremely poorly managed and/or is seriously lacking in funds to spruce it up.

It has a huge indoor resort setting with an indoor pool, tables, chairs & lounges. Very nice & fun.

It seems to be set up for large gatherings like banquets & company parties.

Clean, comfortable with a free hot breakfast.

The only negative is the highway road noise right outside the room windows. It is so loud you can hear individual trucks driving by.

Suggest you bring ear plugs.

Rooms were fine if not a little old. We had an interior room that in March with it cool outside was impossible to cool off. Halls and stairs were much cooler and yet with our AC on high, we were still too hot. Asked twice for someone to come fix it and never got a response or repair. Just OK and then never any action.

Things were ok until we lost power due to a winter storm, staffs were courteous and trying to help customers whatever they could. Facility did not have a backup power or portable flashlights for customers. Spent a day & night in dark, no backup lights in the stairways; it was fully dark. I had to rely on my cell phone's flash light to climb up and down from level 4, not a good experience.

I would like to get a full refund. I arrived at 5:45pm. After an hour of arriving the power went out at the hotel and hasn’t came back on so my spouse and I are going to another hotel. The hotel manager isn’t sure when the power will be back on as she has contacted DTE and they don’t have an update about the outage.

Never got my refund after messaging staff. Many residents left due to the power outage.

Stayed for an out of town wedding with family. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. However, room was smaller than appeared in the pictures in my opinion, sonit was a little tight for the family. Would have been perfect for just myself and husband though. Bathroom needs to be updated, but no other issues we felt. The free hot breakfast was good and decent amount of choices made available. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Overall, i would stay again, but request a larger room if bringing my whole family.

So, I booked this place as a “splurge” because I thought it would be a nicer place to stay while starting my first week of night shift, 2 hours away from home. This place let me down every single day of my stay. Pictures made it look nice, and there is actually potential. It was dirty, and smelled like old Chinese food all week long. Extremely run down, the hot tub is not functioning, I wouldn’t comfortably use this pool, looks dirty. There was maybe 5 other people staying at this hotel, that I saw. Breakfast was horrible, I think the eggs were repurposed from day 1 to day 2. Sausages was rubbery. Bread was wet. :( I was woken up at 9 am from banging on my door, after getting off work at 6am. The hallway was so LOUD I was not ever abate to sleep after my shifts. Housekeeping would bang on every single door, starting at the end of the hallway, working their way down to me, and I could hear every single bang. I could even hear other people’s phones going off at all hours. I’m so frustrated, and exhausted. I never write reviews but this place pissed me off.

Very disappointed in the property. It is old and outdated. We were given a first floor outside entrance. There was no indication when booking that this was the room I was booking. The information given on Expedia totally misrepresented the property. The “complimentary “ bottled water was on single bottle for two people. When I asked for another bottle I was told to buy it. The “grocery” store in the lobby consisted of 2 vending machines and a few scattered overpriced bags of cookies or nuts. This is not a family friendly location. The room was tiny as well. There wasn’t even any place to open suitcases. Overall stay somewhere else even if it’s a few dollars more!

We did not eat at the hotel due to hospital testing requirements did not allow for food intake.

Our room was on the 1st floor right next to the manager's office (forgot the room number) The heater did not work. The bathroom door did not close properly and the securing lock on the front door is about to fall off the wall. Other than that, the bed was wonderful, the tv worked and the staff was friendly.
