The lobby, hallways and stairway was filthy. Hallway looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. I’ve never been to an Extended Stay that had nothing in the kitchen but one disposable plastic cup. No dish ware or utensils or any pots or even a dish.front desk closes early and opens lat 10 AM.

The facility seemed sketchy. We arrived late and could not get ahold of anyone to check in. We had to call customer service (a number I found online), and they were able to reach the night attendant. He finally came out and checked us in. The room was clean, but the furnace smelled. The carpet was undesirable.

I normally do not write reviews, but this is one that needs to happen. Despite several attempts to remedy the concerns both on site and via email with the manager. Nothing was done. Long story short. The room was in terrible condition. It was dirty, there were poor repairs made to virtually every corner of the room. It was doors on the bathroom vanity, the caulking around the tub/shower was discussing. There was a 2x4 in the corner of the room to hold the door open. Immediately after checking in, we tried to report these conditions on three separate attempts to the front desk but nobody was there. I tried to call and report the concerns but nobody responded. I then sent a message through the Expedia App to the hotel but no response. We ended up only straying for the first night of our two night stay and we checked out. Again, nobody was at the front desk to even check out so we dropped our under the office door. All I wanted was to get a refund for the second night that we did not use. No response, just a form email from the manager. Terrible condition of the room and terrible customer service. They could have made everything right by refunding our second night that we did not use, but nothing.

This was U Of M Parents Weekend so this price was already ridiculous at $296 per night. This place is truely not a hotel but a temporary apartment. There are no amenities like a coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, wifi etc. The condition of the rooms are very worn out. The first room they gave us the room was just filthy, broken lamp, dirt on the walls, dirty sheets, bathroom that didn't look like it had been cleaned. The second room was hardly better. Food was leftover in the cupboards, towels with holes in them. The hallways smelled like someone was both smoking cigarettes and pot. We booked 2 nights and only stayed one. We paid for both nights but knew we couldn't get reimbursed for the 2nd night because we decided to leave after 4 pm and just didn't want to have that fight. Really disappointed that we were taken advantage of but it is supply and demand and I learned my lesson about doing better research. Hopefully someone will read my review and won't make the same mistake I did.

Walking into the room was like a scene out of Five Nights at Freddy’s… it looks like it would have been a good hotel about 30 years ago… The worst part was we counted on using the pullout couch as a bed, and found snacks inside… peanuts, blueberries, granola, we all wanted to throw up. There was a weird smell, and the kitchen and dresser drawers were all disheveled, every lampshade was crooked and written on. Scary.

The hotel is very old and dirty. Although there were many amenities, include microwave, full size fridge, even stove, the room and the bed were dirty. The towels had stains and a bad smell. No hair dryer in the room, which was totally unacceptable. If you don't mind paying twenty or thirty dollars more, choose another hotel nearby.

I reserved the room two weeks in advance for 2 Dbl Beds for 2 nights. Check in time is 3 which is fine. Arrived 4:30 room not ready. It took the clerk over twenty-five minutes to verify my stay and give me a key for later. Told her keep the room under my credit card and that I would pay upon leaving. NO, my card was charged in advance! Had to leave and come back much later to a room where the bathroom ceiling was poorly patched and leaking water. No hand soap in the room, no shampoo, no garbage pails etc. No coffee in the room or lobby. No breakfast. Absolutely, no housekeeping, Beds not made no fresh towels. Went outside to my vehicle and residents of the establishment were drinking outside (which is fine) but then they were urinating in bush. We would have booked elsewhere but no other vacancy available for the next night. Expedia, you should be ashamed to have this hotel under your organization. A refund would be expected. I warn all, do not book this hotel. Better to sleep in your car or pitch a tent.

I would not stay again. I tried canceling, but would not give refund since booked via expedia. The bathroom shower curtains smelled. They need to throw those away and replace with new ones at this point. Whole building was dirty. They NEED to clean or hire more cleaning staff to do a deep cleanse of the entire hotel. I did not trust the bed sheets either. Towels were stained. Just bad experience and would NEVER stay here again.

Decent size room but they didn't have linens for sleeper sofa then tried to charge me extra for those linens. No dishes in the kitchen. They only had 2 towels in the room that was reserved for 4 adults, and when I went to get more (because they won't bring anything to your room) they said they have been out of towels for over a week. I won't be staying at this property in the future. So if you want a place to sleep take just 1 shower and not eat, this is your place. No vending machines or any kind of food sold here and it is not staffed 24/7. No one there over night if you need anything. Not to sound all bad, they do have a tv and toilet paper in their rooms.

Lots of bad little things means keep looking

Enough small things were bad to say i shouldve just paid a little more. Always waiting on someone to show up at the front desk, some of the room was upgraded but I'm 45 and the fridge and range were easily as old as me. Never seen a range that old, fridge made weird noises all night long. Cheap tub surround with mildew on all seams. Elevator out of service and we were on the 3rd floor. Nothing tremendously bad but overall this place is well below average.

I had a reservation. Upon arrival they did not have a room for me and moved me to a hotel in Novi. I asked them to cancel. They charged me for the room at another city that they moved me to. Horrible customer service. Take a reservation and keep the reservation. Do not move me to a hotel 30 minutes away. This is bad business and criminal for charging me for service i did not receive. Small claims court is in the future.

When we arrived it took forever for someone to show up to the desk to help me. Then they had no record of our reservation, even though I clearly had the confirmation in front of me. They sent me to a sister hotel down the street, and insisted my reservation was there instead. It was not. We ended up having to find another place to stay late at night. Also there were a lot of men hanging out in the parking lot just lurking. Then I was still charged and had to navigate a refund.

First time at an extended stay but this one needs updating. The staff are wonderful and I appreciated their cheerful assistance. The shower curtain is too short and doesn’t go into the tub so water goes everywhere when you shower. This would be ok if you were given enough towels. The drain plunger on the sink and towel rack above the toilet are broken and need repair.

All of the towels and sheets, pillows and other linens need replacement replacing. We probably could have asked for another pillow - next time. Loved the full refrigerator but didn’t expect that dishes weren’t provided or extra towels without additional fees. The room is clean and the bed comfortable. Not a terribly place but also not great.

I initially booked the property for my stay at the University of Michigan. I later found out that I have to change the day I am staying. I called the hotel and they confirmed the dates have been changed. Just before my stay, I checked the itinerary and was showing the incorrect date. I called the hotel and they forwarded me to their call center. The supervisor told me there was no way they would have changed it. They would not refund it or update the reservation. I inquired about why they would they would tell us they updated when they haven't. The supervisor said there was no way for them to do that and they had no way to check phone logs, who access our reservation during our phone call or any system of checks and balances.

We decided we werent going to win this fight, so we opted to pay for the hotel for two nights and only use one. The manager Kita was helpful and stated she would allow us to check in a different date (initially we were told if we dont show up on the date of our reservation, it would be canceled)

We came into the hotel around 8:20am, after walking around, looking for the reception, we called the hotel and transferred us to a call center who said they would check if there is a reception desk at this location. She confirmed there is but it is not staffed until 9am.

After our wait, we finally checked in. The rooms were in poor condition, including stains on the carpet, doors missing off of cabinets, toilet paper holders broken off and BUGS! Big bugs!

I stayed for a week and was bothered the whole time! Front desk gave me a hard time checking in, getting toilet paper, an extra towel for the floor. It’s best to bring your kitchen utensils and pans with you otherwise you will have to pay. You have to walk outside the building to throw away trash. It smells like urine on the first floor and you are not allowed to lit candles even through your room smells like dirty carpet. 2/10 not recommended

- Entire hotel floor was sticky and damp.
- Room was not sound proofed. Could hear other neighbors flushing toilets and closing cupboards and walking loudly above.
- Room had a smell that required me using the fan the whole time.
- Bathroom door didn’t close easily.
- Water spout in shower was broken so water came out of the spigot and shower head at the same time.
- Police presence was at the facility during checkout which further confirmed that I won’t be staying again.
- The one big positive is the GM of the property. She went above and beyond with ensuring I was taken care of as much as possible during the stay.
- Staff was friendly, but property was very subpar.

It was not a good experience staying at this hotel. When we checked in there was not even a hand soap in our room. They don’t provide any soaps or shampoos either. We had to go and get some basic stuff for our stay immediately after we checked in. There was no TV remote, no bath tub mat, only one towel in the room. When we asked for it, the only person managing the hotel, said she had kept all these items in the room personally. It was a part for her inspection process!! Finally she gave it after we asked her to come and check the room. Overall not a good experience and will never stay in any Extended Stay hotels.

We only stayed for one night and for that I am grateful because this place was DIRTY. The lady at check in raved at how we were getting a room that was just thoroughly cleaned and the room was nasty. Plus I was charged extra at check in because they had no standard rooms available and we had to take a deluxe, no problem. However, the “deluxe” room had a double bed instead of a queen. The window was missing one of the two curtains so we had to tuck a sheet into the window as you could see right into our room. The towels were dirty and filled with hair, the carpet was stained and overall was just gross, pretty disappointing considering I was charged extra for a deluxe room and then another $60 for my pups.

Spacious room with kitchen but dirty, dirty dirty. My kids socks were so dirty after walking around the room. An entire plate of crab bake was rotting outside our window. Window didnt lock- my husband had to put metal rod in the slide. Kitchen completely emptied out - no plates, glasses etc.

I was upset to learn that check-in closed by 11pm and I did not know this until I got to the hotel (where my flight in was delayed and barely made it in time). I found the hotel to be in need of a face lift. Any time a door closed on the floor, I felt my room shake. On the positive, the rooms were spacious with a kitchen area built in.

It was parents' weekend and rooms were hard to come by. I made a reservation last April and paid over $350 a night. It was a shabby hotel with threadbare towels and a terribly uncomfortable bed. The staff wasn't helpful and wouldn't even check to see if a king room was available. The halls smelled like weed and urine. I won't stay there again and would warn anyone else about making a reservation. This is overpriced for $100 a night.

Absolutely awful. No amenities at all in the room. (2 small plastic cups) toilet was broken and told no maintenance on weekend. Toilet bowl stained and not clean. Elevator out of operation for weekend and no apparent attempt to get it fixed before the weekend is over. The grab and go breakfast that was supposed to open at 6 am was not open at 6:45 am on Sunday and no attendant to contact, Needed to hunt for toilet paper as on check in only 1/2 a roll of TP in the bathroom. Building showed lack of attention to maintenance. Very few if any attendants at front desk to seek assistance. General overall condition of building was musty smelling and dirty

Upon arrival- the hotel front desk was closed and no one was there to check us in. There was 2 other couples that came in the same time as we did and they were forced to find rooms at another hotel as we did. This is unexcusable. The hotel should be prepared for late arrivals especially on college football gamedays. We had 2 of our children with us and were fortunate to find a room but if not we would have had to either slleep in our car or drive home 4 hours. RIDICULOUS. I would drop them from your network!!!
