Shops and restaurants and a super market are within a few blocks away. Very helpful and friendly staff. Our room is clean and nice. Complimentary breakfast is very good with many choices.
Though the Rome train station is within walking distance from the hotel but the side walks are so uneven to roll our suitcase so we need to take a taxi.

This was the perfect location for our week in Rome. The room was super clean, the staff was very polite and helpful. There was a great breakfast as well as private outdoor space. Only minutes walk from the Metro line made getting around the city that much easier. You will be hard pressed to find a better place, especially for the price. We'll definitely be in Rome again, and will more than likely stay at Casa per Ferie Domus when we do.

This hotel was a great stay. The staff were amazing, very friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was good and a nice way to start the day.

If you enjoy walking like I do, the location is perfect. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Colosseo and also close to the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the oldest basilicas and the burial place of Pope Francis.

Very clean, basic room. Outstanding breakfast with all kinds of fruit cakes cereal bread yogurt etc etc beyond imagination. Excellent desk personal! Location great—half way between Coloseum and train station. Metro stop two blocks away. We will stay here again—the nuns know how to run a clean house. Elevator was a necessary plus for us 82 year old seniors.

The hotel is a Franciscan guest house staffed by very friendly and helpful lay persons with excellent command of English. My room was relatively small and simple but quite functional, clean and very quiet. It is very conveniently located. Both the Colosseum and main train station are 15-20 minute walks. Spotlessly clean and quiet hotel. I like the simple, no fuss rooms which are spacious with big beds. The bathroom was clean and the water hot. Clean towels etc every day.
Breakfast average but plenty of choice including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free. Useful and cheap vending machine for water etc on ground floor.
I will definitely stay here again. It’s very handy for rail connections at Termini and also close to a metro station. The staff know where is good to eat nearby. You can walk everywhere in Rome if you’re reasonably well and take your time in hot weather, and this hotel is close to main routes so easy to find. Santa Maria Maggiore is close by.
I did find the bed a little too firm for me but that’s a personal thing. The only thing I would like the staff to change is a security issue. Asking guests for only a room number when handing over a key is a risky business. Staff at the desk should also ask for a name or phone number as well. It’s not possible for staff to know that everyone coming through the door is a genuine guest.

Breakfast was pretty standard but had nice pastries, fruit and cheese. Very accommodating and nice place overall. Great location -- smack in the middle of Levanto, yet peaceful. It's maybe a 15-minute walk to the train station, but it's a beautiful walk. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes within a 5-minute stroll. There's also a little park right outside with a playground for kids, and it's a short walk to the shore as well. If you're doing the hike to Monterosso (very highly recommended), you can start from your doorstep and you'll be on the trail in minutes. The host, Marco, is super responsive.

Hotel is near the metro station, with 4 stops to the Spanish Steps at Spagna station. From there, it’s walkable to the Trevi Fountain, then the Temple of Hadrian, Pantheon, and south to the Roman Forum and Colosseo. From the Colosseo it’s a relative easy walk back to the hotel. The trattoria Vecchia Roma which serves the best pasta in Rome is right around the corner from the hotel.

EVERYTHING was extremely clean. The breakfast was very good and filling. The staff was very nice. I would definitely recommend this property for singles, families, couples. There is an elevator to take you up to your rooms, which is very helpful moving luggage. It is located on a sidestreet, which keeps the noise relatively low.

Breakfast was fabulous! Great variety! Room was bare bones, and no air conditioning. It was 25C even with the window open all night. Too uncomfortable. Was told the air conditioning would not come on for another month. We had just come from a hotel in Naples, and the system had both air conditioning and heat that you could switch back and forth as needed. It was difficult to sleep with such heat in the room. Disappointing. Glad we only had one night booked.
Nearby there are a lot of homeless immigrants. Would not want to be walking at night. Restaurants not close by. No shopping either.

Staff was amazing! Sooo helpful. Room was minimalistic but clean, comfortable and large. Lovely large outdoor area on floors 4 and 5. Location was 15 minute walk to colliseum, one block to metro and 10 euro cab ride to train station. One of our best meals ever at local restaurant recommended by hotel.
Only tiny drawback was not having a fridge for my medicine. Front desk kindly obliged holding meds for us.

A good budget option. Cannot fault the lovely helpful and friendly staff and the place was kept scrupulously clean. A wide choice of breakfast items which set us up for the day nicely. The location is ideal for exploring the wonders of Rome - with some excellent local restaurants for those too weary in the evening to venture back into town. Had top class spaghetti and clams in the Pescetta Fish Restaurant (which is a little hidden gem) and great meals in Vecchia Roma and Tempio de Mecenate, all within a block of the hotel.
A couple of niggles though. The beds are small and rather uncomfortable - a bit hard and creaky for us. The soundproofing between floors is insufficient so we could hear every footstep above us. The hotel is otherwise really quiet and peaceful so perhaps putting up with the occasional noise of someone dragging chairs around at 5.00 am is not too high a price to pay. And we found the place was kept rather too warm for those used to bleak English weather. Certainly these niggles would not stop us staying there again though as the positives far outweighed the negatives.
Overall, a very good option and we had an excellent time staying there. Cant wait to return to glorious Roma!
