I had a balcony room, the balcony was small but looked out on the park and had a wonderful view. It is a very busy spot so it can get very noisy at times, normal city sounds but once you close the door it's fairly quiet. There is ac that works great. The room itself is pretty big and clean. With a mini fridge and water kettle. There is a couple of chairs and a small table. The tv has internet and you can hook up your accounts or watch YouTube on it. On the downside: its a lot of stairs to climb to get there, if I'm remembering correctly around 4 sets of stairs to climb. The space to go up/down is very narrow with no railings at points. There is very little to no place to put your clothes. Be prepared to live out of your suitcase. You can hear people coming and going from outside of the room in the hallway as it's right at the entrance and presumably people can hear you. The bathroom smells bad but I kept the door closed when I was there so it was fine. The bathroom is small and if your a larger person be prepared to go in sideways to the shower. There is no way to heat up food in your room or the common room. That being said I had a great time and truly enjoyed my stay. It's super close to the Metro and bus stops. Right across from a gorgeous park and the balcony is a delight when you want to relax. The bed is actually really comfortable and not super firm. There is room for improvement but honestly for what I paid it was a great choice.

It’s just a bit basic. Theres nowhere to hang your clothes or even a drawer. The tea/coffee facilities consisted of three sachets of Nescafé. There was no shower gel. There was also just the one key which was an issue. The balcony looked into a yard at the back filled with people’s washing rather than looking at the park opposite. The rooms were never made up in all the time were there.

Property was a bit run down and tired. The hot water took 5 minutes to come through.

On a positive note, it’s cheap, close to the station and clean.

The hotel is good the location is fantastic close to everything you need. 15 minutes from the colosseum. It is small hotel more like an apartment with separate rooms. The room is a bit smaller than the pictures, the bathroom in the room is sooo small and it had bad smell coming from it like sewer smell which was a problem during the night because the bathroom is inside the room and sometimes bugs would come from it although it was clean and the room is clean. You need to arrange with them for your arrival as there is no reception available all the time. Andrea was very communicative through WhatsApp and she shared with us some advices about nice restaurants in that area. Also room cleaning is available and they change the towel whenever we requested.

The only down side is that there was dust everywhere, and the finish of the whole room and bathroom was tired. Definitely needs tying up loose ends and slight bit of modernisation

This one was a hard one to rate as the location was amazing and the staff were so kind and extremely easy to get a hold of, but the room was really run down and smelt terrible… the bathroom was gross… the toilet seat was half off, shower wouldn’t drain and it smelt awful.
We were ok but there were a lot of stairs just for anyone with mobility issues. There is an elevator but then you still need to take a few flights of stairs. We made due, but for the price it really wasn’t worth it.

Property advertised as a suite, definitely not. Very stark room plus a second area with twin bed. As i am a single it was okay. Not suitable for a couple. Shower very tiny but with hot water. Limited space for toiletries. Tiniest towel ever. Small fridge set on the floor. Even with an elevator you must haul luggage up some steps. Location not suited to any nearby sites or tours. Uber and taxis Very expensive from here.

The space was a nice space and we were able to walk from the train station. There is no one manning the front desk which requires you to connect with the owner so that there is someone on site to meet you. The staff helped secure a taxi for the next morning. It is far from many of the sites, but we only needed the room for one night so it worked out well for us.

It’s close to everything all the scenic destinations and metro / bus stations .
We enjoyed our accommodations here at dada suites . Our host sent us list of Lots of good restaurants with affordable prices around the area .
Bed comfort is very good it’d be better with an extra pillow for additional comfort .
Our host Andrea is very helpful and accommodating from the very start till the end .He let us store our luggage’s hours before our check in & out times.👍🙏😇

Fantastic for the price! The property communicated priory to my arrival to arrange everything and Andrea the lady who greeted me was superb as were all the other staff I spoke too. The building is very secure and multiple doors to get through.

The room was spacious and clean. Thankfully it came with AC with the Italian heat. The bed is honestly one of the softest I’ve slept on and also great pillows!

I did struggle to get hot water for a shower at times but in temperatures that hot you’ll be glad for a cool one!
The addition of the balcony was worth that little upgrade getting to looking over the Piazza with your morning coffee… Regoli is literally just around the corner for the best maritozzo and coffee


Location wise is a little further from the major attractions, but is only 10 minutes from Roma Termini station. The colosseum only around a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. Other attractions are only 30-40 minutes walk (I do walk fast though) Piazza Vittorio Metro station is literally a 1 minute walk away if you don’t fancy the walking.

If I find myself back in Rome I’d definitely stay here again!

This place encompasses Rome completely. Was told the neighborhood wasn’t the best but there’s a four door system that you’ll go through…safety isn’t a concern and everyone was super nice. The room was uniquely old but great. Shower was small but fit the room.
There isn’t an attendant there 24/7 but they respond quickly through the WhatsApp. Very polite and always asked how the day was.
Because it’s not in the center of town, you have a lot of great restaurants and stores that are locals with great prices and real deal Italian food.

Don’t know that we could’ve asked for a better place to stay!

Really good solid stay for a very low price close to the train station in Rome. Room was spacious had two beds and even a small terrace.

This would be ok for staying one night, but would not recommend any more. Staff friendly but only saw once on check-in. Reception is non-existent. There is no bar of soap in the bathroom. Bathroom is very small, questionable cleanliness overall. You get what you pay for but this was almost too expensive even for the cheap price

Amazing stay definitely would comeback

It was an amazing stay! The people in charge of the hotel were all super nice and the hotel was well kept. The owner was kind enough to share restaurants recommendations around the area, and they were all pretty good. Overall, it’d be a place I recommend to everyone going to Rome - it’s also in a super convenient location near all the historical sites. Thank you so much for the warm welcome !

Dada suites stay

Excellent value for money location in Rome. Room was clean and spacious. Close to Termini station and tourist sites. Check in easy and Andrea was extremely helpful during check in and with recommendations for food close by which were all excellent!

Needs some tlc

First look the apartment looked clean and usable. But behind the curtains there was black mould next to the bed. The bathroom had seen better days.
No hot running water for a shower the next morning,l. When i asked they apologied for the inconvenience, and said they put the boiler on a timer and to give it 10 mins. I had to catch a train so didnt have time to wait for water to heat up and take my time.

Location was great only 15 min walk to collloseum. Lovely little cafe/wine bar around the corner with an amazing range of cakes.

Cute little place!

The central location was perfect for what we wanted to see. Andrea was very helpful, giving recommendations and providing tips for how to navigate the area. Communication was prompt and he responded quickly to any issues we had.

City break stay.

Had a pleasant stay here, clean sheets and towels provided. Rooms a little tired but the balcony was a great addition to our stay to watch the world go by. Really helpful staff who are always available by WhatsApp and generally on site 10am-2pm. Well situated for exploring Rome.

Andrea the host was fabulous, very responsive. He responded to every text right away. The location was convenient to everything providing you’re a walker (and we were). We didn’t pick it for a hanging out place because we would be in the go, so that worked with us. We were two couples with the one bathroom which was only accessible from the first bedroom. We had to walk through the first bedroom to get to the bathroom. Probably more ideal for a family, but for our short stay it worked. Great sheets and the beds were comfortable.

Property was old but it was also dirty. Especially the shower, lots of black mold. Floor felt dirty and walls were full of stain, scratches. Didn’t dare to look under the sheets. Wouldn’t stay here again!

We just needed one night at a hotel near the train station and the Coliseum. This place was perfect, good communication, easy check in, AC worked well, shower was hot, bed comfy. It was a bit noisy outside, not sure if that’s a regular occurrence. They also set up an airport transfer for us.

Great location with a 10-15 min walk to both the main train station and the colluseum. They made great recommendations of places to eat in the neighborhoods.

Highly recommend walking through the nearby park to the Colluseum!

The bathroom is on the smaller side but fine, note that the shower would be a challenge for a heavier person.

The staff was great. The area appears a bit unsafe, the shower was very small with limited water pressure. The plant in the room had a huge amount of dust that concerned me as how much cleaning actually occurs by the housekeeper.

Host was very accomodating to allow for check-in 10 minutes late. However, communication after that was very poor and messages were left read but unanswered. We had to rely on chance meetings with the host whilst they were on property to make our requests. Bathroom was very outdated and is in need of major fixing. The toilet was not completely attached to the floor and the seat was loose. Some times we could not get hot water as well. Room was very spacious. The listing says a lift is available which is true but you will still need to climb up and down some stairs to access the property.

Cleanliness and the bathroom ruined the entire experience for us. The bathroom smelled really bad, we had to close the door when we slept. The shower was dirty and we had to wait long for hot water if there was some. We spent as little time as possible in that bathroom, it wasn't clean and it didn't smell clean.

The room didn't have any items to eat or drink although there was a small item menu in the room. The hosts were great, no complaints there and the hotel is in a great spot. The host arenged for late night check in and checked in a few times about my location. The room had Netflix which was awesome and the balcony in the room had a great view. It really was just the cleanliness of the bathroom that was very bad.

Rome was wonderful. Each time I visit it gets better. Hotel Dada was OK. It’s more of an Air B&B than a hotel. The room was small , clean the shower doors need to be replaced . The main door to our sweet was left open a few times allowing access to anyone passing on our floor. May want to install an auto door the will close automatically. The neighborhood was ok. Front of the building needs to be cleaned up.

Andrea (the receptionist) was nice though like other reviewers mention, we saw him only when we first arrived— however he was very nice. PLEASE: if you want hot water showers after a long day, this is NOT the hotel for you!!!! We only took 2 showers here because the water was not warm and we could not handle the cold. My partner and I are very low maintenance and read the other reviews stating there wasn’t hot water. We thought it would be no big deal. It was not a fun time. Overall, I would recommend this to people on a tight budget only. Please also be aware there is an elevator but you will still need to go up some steps (half a flight). There also was a strange smell in the lobby like eggs but honestly not as terrible as no warm water.

Disappointing accommodation

Accommodation was small, particularly shower room. Walls heavily marked. Shower not secured to wall.

Bedding clean but only provided with a sheet and blanket, no duvet.

Location close to termini station so good in that regard however not close to any of the main sights of Rome and some areas nearby did not feel safe.

Good communication prior to arrival as there is no staffed reception, but this was not a problem as all was communicated.

Good air conditioning to keep room cool.

At nearly €200 a night, even when not in peak season, this accommodation was disappointing.

Not at all what is pictured in photos

The picture that are online are no where close to what the room actually looked like. It was difficult to get in and out of the space. Bathroom was barely big enough to wash your face or brush your teeth. The bed was comfortable and the room did its job since we weren't in the room besides to sleep. But overall I expected a totally different experience from what was seen on the website. Another thing to consider when booking is the check in process. There is not a full time worker for check in. You must contact the property 24 hours prior to check in with you travel details to be able to check in.

It’s within walking distance from Termini train station, very clean and amazing reception! but opposite direction from the usual tourist attraction such as the Forti Romani, Spanish steps and other most common.

The customer service was excellent but the room is very run down. The bed was clean but everything else was not in a sanitary condition. For example, there was black mold all over the shower head. Would not recommend staying here.

Don't trust their reservation agreement!

Even though we had scheduled our stay with a full cancellation policy, they charged us when we were not able to arrive on time, through no fault of our own. They not only charged us for the first night, which I would have understood, but for ALL the nights of the reservation. It was very unfair and simply greedy on their part.

The property was in a very safe and secure location. Large outer leads to the apartment buildings, then a smaller door into the actual building. Finally a door into the hotels and then your actual room door. Safe as can be! The staff was very nice and emailed detailed instructions on how to arrive from the train station. It’s about a 10 minute walk. Maybe 15 if you’re fat. There is a nice park right outside with public fountains and plenty of food options nearby. The hotel was clean and roomy as well! All at a good price per day. It’s not a luxury hotel by any means, but 10/10 for the price you pay.

Our booking includes breakfast but there was no breakfast provided. We do not feel safe in the property as there's no on site staff except when checking in and checking out. Uses old fashioned keys that anyone can duplicate and re-enter the property/room. It's not convenient when you have luggages as even there's an elevator, we still ned to do down and up the stairs. Totally dissatisfied.
