Nice little B&B near Termini

Only a 5 minute stroll from the terravision bus stop and easy to find which was great. Check in was fast and Nadia the owner was lovely and very helpful. Within walking distance of the Trevi and Colosseum etc., and the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore is just around the corner. Coffee and tea facilities are in the hall outside room, as well as a microwave, so a comfortable stay with everything we needed.

Good location, nice staff, but bad...

Even though the hotel is well located and the staff is polite, guests are required not to smoke, but someone who lives in the hotel do it. So the common areas smell to cigarette a lot, and sometimes you can feel that smell in the room as well.

We reserved a twin room and when we got to the hotel they had a double room prepared for us. They gave us another room when we asked for a twin (again). During our 7 days stay at the hotel our bed was not changed once nor were our towels.The only thing they did was make the bed and take out the trash, but on some days it didn't even looked like they swept the room. The hotel advertises free Air conditioning but we were asked for a 5 Euro/per night fee if we wanted AC.

Good location within walking distance from many places to see and visit.
Very clean and Nadia, very friendly and helpful.

Decent location, close to Termini

No wifi was disappointing. Takes about a 20 minute walk to get to Colosseum, Vittorio, etc. Clean room. Nice staff.

Excellent location, but very hard to find.

Quaint, clean, quiet and great location! That said, it is extremely hard to find. No signs, just a number by a wooden door on the street. Once inside, a Fourier, a single elevator for two, and still no signs. We luckily took a taxi who dropped us at the door and assured us that this was the address. Inside as we faced the elevator, unsure of where to go, a maintenance man happened by and we said, \"where's the hotel?\" He said, \"b&b? Name?\" I said, \"Rudy\" to which he responded, \"5\". We took the elevator to the 5th floor, and there was a simple brass plate and a floor mat that were labeled \" B&B Rudy\". We rang the door and A very Italian accented, but English speaking woman answered ad said, \"welcome! Nancy?\" We'd made it! Lovely room, clean, comfortable, and basic. Perfect and beautiful! An Italian experience, we loved it!

Extremely poor service

There was no one available when we arrived. On day two the key broke in the door to our room. There was no emergency contast method. We found out by bothering a permanent tenant at 11 pm that the caretaker lived on the 5th floor. We leaned on her doorbell until she finally answered. We then had the misfortune of meeting RUDY. He accused us of breaking the key by turning it too hard. He tried to intimidate by standing inches away from me. He said that we would have to pay for the repairs and he pointed to scratches by the lock and said we had tried ti jimmy the door.

Service Fees & Cold Showers

When I arrived at the hotel I rang up to the B&B so that someone could let me in (it's an actual apartment building that is locked and has other tenants that live there full-time) and no one answered. I called the number listed below the buzzer and had to wait 15-20 minutes before a man and his daughter came to let me in. They gave me a key so I could come and go as I pleased which was great.

I had to pay an 8 euro service charge plus another 8 euro for wifi access which was irritating because I read that it was included in the room fee. I told him about this and even showed him where I saw that but he still wouldn't give the pass code until I paid.

When I returned back after touring Rome both nights, I tried taking a shower but the water was freezing. I have been the only person staying in the B&B so I know other people didn't use it up.

There is a cleaning lady that I'm assuming lives in the B&B that screams at someone on her phone all day and night so I had to put music on to drown her out.

Overall it was very clean and spacious but the man running the B&B was never at the desk when I had a question or needed something. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Rome, and would suggest getting a place that isn't in \"China Town.\" The initial low cost was what drew me in but I'm not happy that I had to pay 16 euros more for things I probably wouldn't have had to pay for elsewhere!

Almost perfect, but no hot water

Everything was great - clean, nice room, great value. Rudy (or at least I assume it was Rudy) stayed there late to check us in when we arrived after midnight. We did not ask about breakfast or wifi so I cannot attest to that, he didn't volunteer any info about either. Only major drawback was the lack of hot water in the shower!

Room was clean but furnishings were very dated, we required extra pillows for the bed but none were available. Breakfast was a complete rip off, you are charged around 10euros pp for the breakfast option which turns out to be a voucher for a grotty cafe down the road. The breakfast options are a brioche and coffee or nothing at all. If you walked into the cafe and bought this it would cost you 3euro. there aren't even places to sit in to cafe, you have to stand. would not recommend this hotel at all, there are plenty of others in the area to choose from

A Clean bed, but these people are cheapskates!

Rudy is a good name for this place if you spell it \"Rude-y\". There is no external way to know where the place is besides a piece of paper taped next to the bell. The woman who runs this place speaks no English to you (but appears to understand some), was very rude and acts as if you are inconveniencing her by staying here. They are so cheap that the lights on a push button timer kept turning off while we were trying to check in! The rooms were clean but according to the woman air conditioning is NOT included in the price, which contradicts what they say on their Hotels.com description. The \"breakfast\" is an absolute joke, one small pastry and a coffee served at a snack bar down the street at a place big enough to seat 4 people. The location is pretty good; close to the train station and a Metro stop a block away. The neighborhood is run down but not really dangerous.
If you can find anything else do so. I would avoid giving these people your business.

Rudy seems like a very good guy & his staff are the same. However, Rudy if he overbooks, will try to get you to stay at another location he has that does not seem to be as convenient. Other than that it was a comfortable room with free wifi in the room (that did work all the time). The bathroom was very small so people over 250 lbs beware.

The Rudy Bed and Breakfast

Very clean & close to 2 subway stations and the tram. All was good except no service was available, for example, no front desk, no one at the locked door to let us in exhaused & hauling all our luggage we had to go find someone kind enough to call the hotel numberous times before there was an answer and then wait for them to come find us and escort us to the room where there was an ardious check in process, then we never saw the woman again. We had to leave a note that the hot water was off and other minor details that we wished to convey. They clean the room but do not leave new towels and there is one large and one small towel for your entire stay. There are 3 locked doors to manage and a very small elevator to negotiate before you can get into your room. I would not stay there again, but it is safe, cheap and it is clean and convenient so it's great if that's what you're looking for.

Gute Unterkunft für angemessenen Preis

Die Lage und Preis-Leistung waren super. Es liegt in einem Asiatischen Viertel mit vielen kleinen Shops nur wenige Gehminuten von Hauptbahnhof entfernt, wo auch Hop on Hop off Busse abfahren.
Die Zimmer könnten eine Renovierung vertragen aber waren immer sauber.

Leider ging am Sonntag unsere Toilettenspülung nicht mehr. Daraufhin wurden wir auf Montag vertröstet nur da sind wir morgens bereits abgereist. Es gibt zwar auch eine Toilette auf dem Flur nur die war mit Putzsachen so zugestellt dass wir diese nicht nutzen konnten... Schade...

Fiz uma compra e selecionei a opção com café da manhã. Cheguei na recepcao, que inclusive tem um cheiro horrível de cigarro, e a atendente disse que não tinhamos direito ao café. Disse que np voucher estava claro que comprei com café e a pessoa insistiu que não e ponto final. Foi isso. Fiz a compra de um produto, com a descrição clara, e obtive outro produto. Além disso, o hotel fica numa região deserta, suja, feia e perigosa.

Non mi è proprio piaciuto,un esperienza negativa!!

É un b&b comodo vicino alla metro,l'unica cosa che sono stato delusissimo è che non cambiano mai gli asciugamani,vi raccomando portateveli da casa,colazione molto misera con briosche in sacchetto dal supermercato!!!! WiFi non arriva segnale nelle camera.

Pulito, in zona comoda

Il b&b è pulito. Si trova in una zona comoda soprattutto per chi arriva in treno. Non mi è piaciuta la totale mancanza di rapporto con chi lo gestisce (ho parlato solo con una signora che ci ha consegnato le chiavi). Un giorno non avevamo più asciugamani perché li avevano tolti senza metterne di nuovi. Un'altra volta ho dovuto chiamare perché mancava la carta igienica. La colazione al bar vicino alla struttura non è una soluzione che mi piace. Il bagno molto piccolo e scomodo ( nessun gancio per gli asciugamani o mensole per appoggiare il necessario)

Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet. Man sollte keinen Luxus erwarten. Es handelt sich um für Italien typische Ausstattung. Enthalten waren in unserem Zimmer Klima, einen kleinen Kühlschrank und Handtücher / Fön. Es sind nur wenige Gehminuten zum Bahnhof/Metro, sodass die wichtigsten Punkte Roms problemlos und in kürzester Zeit erreichbar sind.

Sehr zentral Nähe Colosseum

Wir hatten drei wunderbare Tage in Rom und dank einer Vespa, die man ganz unkompliziert in der Nähe Mieten kann, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gesehen und genossen. das Wetter im Aprilmwar hervorragend. Wir hatten ein ruhiges nettes Zimmer zum Hof. Die Mitarbeiterin des Rudy war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt auch in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Termini. Wir haben es vorgezogen mit dem Taxi, dass direkt von Rudy erreichbar ist, zum Flughafen Zu fahren.

대만족~~ 일반 가정집을 호텔로 바꿔서 운영하시는 것 같아요. 가족단위로 운영하시는 듯.
저희 처음에 갔을때는 되게 인자하신 할머니가 체크인 해주셨는데 그 뒤로는 한번도 못봤네요. 항상 할아버지나 젊은 아저씨가 계셨어요. 가기전에 몇시쯤에 도착하는지 메일로 물어보셨는데 체크를 못해서 답장을 못했어요. 무작정 숙소에 찾아갔더니 주인분이 기다렸다는 듯이 체크인 해주시더라구요.
숙소에 계속 직원이 있는게 아니라 체크인을 하면 3개의 키가 달린 열쇠고리를 주십니다.
하나는 건물 입구, 하나는 집 입구, 하나는 방 키 입니다. 따로 제약없이 저희가 원하는 시간에 나가고 들어가고 할 수 있어서 좋았어요!
방도 엄청 넓었는데 단점이라면 화장실이 정말정말 좁아요.
그리고 화장실에서 냄새가 좀 나더라구요. 그래도 로마에 6일동안 있으면서 전혀 불편하지 않았습니다!

Il B&B e' nei pressi della stazione
termini ed e' vicina anche alla stazione della metropolitana.
Accogliente e ben gestito e' un ottimo posto dove soggiornare per visitare la Capitale.

Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono. La camera è abbastanza pulita e spaziosa. Il bagno è pittosto angusto, ma non si può ptretendere di più con quanto si spende. Il personale gentile e disponibile. Mi sento di poterlo consigliare.

B&B gut und günstig. Ruhige Lage, zweckmässige Zimmer, zentral gelegen. Nachteilig war das Früstück, die Klimaanlage die extra bezahlt werden musste (10.-- Euro/Tag) und der Kühlschrank der nicht richtig kühlte.

B&B grazioso e pulito. Personale cortese.

Siamo stati accolti bene, la camera e la biancheria erano pulite, il bagno forse un poco piccolo ma pulito.
Si trovano in posizione comoda per chi arriva e deve partire da Stazione Termini, ci si arriva facilmente a piedi in 5-10 min. Comodo per poter visitare Roma.

A 400 metri dalla stazione della metro ideale per spostamenti comodi.
Camere e bagni pulite e confortevoli.
Cortesi e disponibili i gestori.
Sotto le aspettative la colazione che viene offerta in un bar a 300 metri (cappuccio o latte + brioche - il the si paga a parte !?!). Quindi non si tratta di una colazione continentale come viene proposta sul sito.
Nelle vicinanze si trova da mangiare meglio spendendo molto meno.

Lovely short stay in a great 'hotel'

My grandma and me stayed there for 3 nights and we loved it. It was close to the Termini station and you can reach the Colosseum wohin a 15 minutes walk. The rom was nearly as clean as possible and the Rudy-Crew was very friendly! Just the short walk to the breakfast everyone Morning was not soooo comfortable, but ok. Also the breakfast was only a Cappuccino/coffee/etc. and a filled Croissant, but for 3€ We did not expect more.

All in all we would defenitely recomment it!!
