Checked in at around 4am - my room was huge, clean and welcoming. It was a bit cold thought - I couldn't get the heating to work.
Breakfast was nice - not a massive variety, but plenty of vegan options. Nice view of the square from the breakfast room.
Late checkout at 3pm was offered for a surcharge, waived due to the problem with the heating.
Good location - near shops and walkable to attractions.
Would definitely stay here again.
A non-alcoholic substitute for the sparking wine would have been appreciated. Expedia should make this available as an option.

Love this location and hotel quality. Really liked the water refill available just outside my room. My room had a view to Plaza Cataluña which I highly recommend. There is a public piano in the square which you a can listen to if you open your window.

We loved our time at 45 Times! Rooftop pool gives a beautiful view of the entire city. You can see all of the main sights of Barcelona all while relaxing poolside.

There was a problem for first date check in after midnight. No many room options available and no manager for problem solving. The 2nd day the manager provided the solution which makes the experience much better after.

The hotel was nicely situated and the room was great. The pool was uncomfortably close to the restaurant, if you splashed when kicking you would get water on several tables of people eating. It is also smaller than it looks in pictures.
The carpets in the hallways are a bit dated. The elevator system is not great - several times we ended up riding the elevator around and couldn’t get to our floor unless we made it back to the lobby as you choose floors from inside.

I was at this hotel from Monday to Sunday. It’s beautiful the rooms are spacious. My only issue was the elevators (they’re not run efficiently) and the extremely poor service at the rooftop pool.

Das Hotel liegt super zentral . Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aber nicht übertrieben. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer sind in Ordnung. Ein herrliches Frühstück kann man bis 11 Uhr bekommen. Es gibt auch eine Skybar mit schöner Aussicht. Rundum war ich sehr zufrieden.

Hotel needs maintance. Lifts were spotty. Broken more than they worked. Our shower door did not fit and leaked the TV turned on and off randomly. That said, the rooftop was amazing. Incredible views and amazing staff.

Do not stay here. Spent two sleepless nights. The hotel is shutting down for a few months for room refurbishing so maybe it will be better after that. The location is great. Many other hotel options in the area.
Room 1:
I booked a triple room for my mother, daughter and I. The room was a good size however there was black mold in shower which made the room uninhabitable. The couch was stained. Halls were dirty.
Room 2:
Also had black mold, but less. I was still not prepared to risk it.
Room 3:
Fine but too small for 3 people. They wouldn’t give a discount bc they said it was an upgrade due to the “city view”
Room 4:
Finally they “upgraded” us to a large beautiful suite on the top floor but they didn’t tell us that the AC was broken! To their credit they brought us multiple fans but with 90 degree temperatures we spent two sleepless nights.The bathtub drain was also broken which they fixed quickly. It was disingenuous to give us a room as an “upgrade” but not tell us that they couldn’t have rented the room anyway because of the AC!
Also they lost one of our bags and my hat in the luggage storage. I finally went to search for it myself and it was connected to someone else’s luggage!
The hotel has refused to give us any kind of refund. I am pleased to say hotels.com did give us a small discount.
I can recommend the sky bar and pool on the 7th floor which are operated independently.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area, beds were comfy and rooms well stocked. We had a problem with their times. Breakfast at 730am and wont give a refund if you have prepaid and decide to cancel. Pool closes at 6pm and small lounge areas close at 8pm, very inconvenient if you are an early riser or want a swim after supper.

This property is in the middle of downtown Barcelona. There is a Train, buses, store and restaurant. One thing I didn’t like, was every time I walked in the hotel. The staff keep stopping me at the entrance. I know there’s a lot of foot traffic becuz of the rooftop lounge. Since the staff didn’t recognizing me. Before walking in the hotel I showed my Room card. My hotel room was 519. You have a window but it’s facing the back. Cleaning crew was on point. They knock on the door to clean. So make sure you put “do not disturb”. Rooftop get pack.

This is somewhat strange hotel. Long waits for checking in and checking out since here was only one person at the front desk. The room is awkwardly designed, with the toilet, shower and washbasin in three different spaces, separate from each other. The architects who designed the rooms did not believe that it would actually be convenient to have an integrate bathroom, with all facilities in one room; they wanted to be different for the sake of difference, sacrificing the comfort of the guests. This is an overpriced hotel and I am not likely to come back; there are better options in Barcelona.

We were in Barcelona for a few days before flying to the US for a Schengen break from traveling in Europe. The location was fantastic for seeing the area including fun museums and great shopping. It was just after Cmas and there was even a small Xmas market that ended the night we arrived.

Marvelous hotel. Only issue was that one of the two small elevators was not working two mornings. The staff was very helpful in letting people use their staff elevator but there was a lot of congestion at check out time. Hotel was very nice, clean and in an excellent location. This is our second time staying at the property and we loved the place and the great location. Is closed to main attractions and to stores for the ones that likes to shop. The property has a roof top bar from where you can see La Sagrada Familia.

Only negative experience was the guy at the entrance of the rooftop that was asking us to pay an entrance without asking if we were staying at the hotel. It was very unpleasant. The other negative thing was that there were two elevators having problems all the time… but for overall it was an excellent experience.

I loved my stay at 45 times. I have a couple of comments: the trash bin at the bathroom is not very functional. Maybe a larger one could help. It was too small. I loved the mirrors in the bathroom but again not so functional for its purpose. Lighting was great, fridge perfect, the closet very good. the TV was great. Of course my room was noisy as it was facing the plaza but I didn't mind

We checked into the hotel and were provided a very nice room with a balcony, as we had reserved. The room was small, but very nicely decorated, very clean and quite quiet. It also had a multi-functional lighting system with lots of ceiling, wall, and floor lighting – when they were all on, the room was very bright (more on this later!). The hotel common areas were nice, the staff were great and the included breakfast was very good. We believed that we had made an excellent hotel selection from the Expedia offerings.
However, at 0400 in the morning, while we were asleep, ALL OF THE LIGHTS TURNED ON by themselves and woke us up. My first thought was that someone had broken into the room. My wife was frightened. I turned off the lights and we tried to get back to sleep. However, we woke up again at 0600 because the room was too hot. It turned out that, when the lights turned back on, the AC thermostat had reset itself to 18 instead of 15 where I had set it at bedtime.
I advised the hotel about the problem and they sent a technician to re-set the electrical panel. He said it should be OK now.
However, at 0400 on the second night ALL the lights turned on again! I could not believe it.
