Amazing holidays

I really recommend the Surf Mar hotel :) We had amazing family holidays .amazing hotel especially room.Food was great and delicious .Pool really good .Good entertainment beside pool .Very good location .Highly recommend the hotel .Staff very nice .

Just awful. Youth hostel by the sea. Noisy & Dirty

This is a youth hostel by the sea. 100's of kids all over the place. Dirty rooms. Broken doors and fittings. Old Beds. Noisy hallways and neighbours. Just awful.

Fine for what we needed

Me and my friend needed somewhere short notice and more a place to rest our heads rather than the hotel actually be a main part to our trip. Id read mixed reviews but price and the included breakfast swung it.
I'd definitely be questioning if it is a 4 star and if I was picking somewhere for me and a girlfriend/ wife I would look elsewhere. Floor was unclean, room very dated and any noise from above or below seemed to be amplified through the room. You couldn't move for school parties either however that was probably due to time of year. It just meant we left the hotel resort each day to drink / sunbath elsewhere.
Like I say for what I needed it was fine and the lady on the desk gave us some great suggestions for tapas and fish restaurants

Good weekend away

The stay was good overall.
We enjoyed the pool and activities inside the hotel such as the mini golf, gaming area, poolside games.
The proximity to the beach was good.
What could improve was setting breakfast times to avoid the queues in the morning, we were asked to eat at the bar but the bar sent us back as they were full. I would suggest making sure the availability in the bar is better when sending guests to the bar and that there is sufficient food setup. The air-conditioning in the room takes a long time to cool the room but was sufficient if started during the day for a comfortable evening sleep.

Pretty nice, wonderful place to spend your holiday with your family. Buffet is good with a lot of options to choose from. One downside - water
(even tap water) is not included in your meals price.
Rooms and balconies are clean, spacious with a beautiful sea view.

Good location next to the beach. Not much in the way of nightlife but only 10 min walk into lloret de mar centre. Good food and good choices on buffets. Good value for money. Staff very friendly. Room was a little dated but after speaking to people in the area apparently they are doing rooms up

Amazing time 5 day break for 2 girls for a 30 th birthday lovely hotel good room with sea and pool view on 4 th floor good condition v clean close to amneties but not in town centre quiet costal bay.check in so quick and friendly very helpful reception staff will defiantly stay again

Good location, but horrible rooms - avoid

I was terribly disapointed. The rooms were awful, not fit for a family. Airconditioning didn't function properly, room had a horrible odour, marks on the wall and dusty floors. Bathroom was also not particularly nice, with small hard towels. Probably good for teenagers, but not fit for family's.

Across the street from nice beach

Good hotel for category and price (think US'70s/Europe'80s construction and decor, and you won't be disapointed). Super nice and friendly staff and maids! Across the street from nice beach, and close to even nicer ones. Enjoyable terrace for all rooms, most with angled view of the sea.

Central AC works, but don't expect super cold...but comfortable. If you have breakfast included, expect to see 200-300 other people there (many tables do have view to the sea)...efficient buffet style, and cayegory of food to match (OK mass produced food).

A good few days by the sea

I had been working in Girona nearby and extended by stay to have a long weekend on the Costa Brava. This choice of hotel and Lloret de Mar was therefore relatively random. I had a really nice stay. The hotel is relatively simple with a small bar and a smaller indoor kids play area. The dining room does buffet breakfasts and dinner (I went half board) which were of a fairly basic but acceptable quality. Similarly the room was clean but basic (an old CRT TV, for example, simple bed). However for me this was more than compensated by having a lovely pool area. There's a handy bar, the pools were kept really clean, with a nice garden area around with plenty of loungers. The main pool was long enough and deep enough for some serious swimming as well as splashing around.

The hotel is located across the road from the quieter beach in Lloret, Fenals Beach. It's less commercial but beautiful and a good place to relax, with enough little restaurants and cafes to keep refreshed! The main town is about 15mins walk, around the headland or over the hill.

Oddly, when I was there the hotel seemed to be filled mostly with Russians (might have been Polish) and then French.

Incredible Service, excellent location in Lloret, but to get to Lloret it is a bit complicated if you are traveling late night or early in the morning from Girona Airport. All people were very nice.

L’hôtel ne correspond pas du tout à un 4 étoiles, le personnel de l’accueil et non chaland, il a fallu que je force le respect et la responsable a fait le mieux quel a pu mais sa reste un 2-3 étoiles maximum, seul bonne chose pratique plage juste en face mais le reste ne correspond pas au prix.
La piscine plusieurs personne ce son ouvert les pieds carrelage qui se décolle et sol glissant.
Niveau sécurité pour les enfants est bien et la plage en face le reste tous à changer.
La literie est très passable, salle de bain des années 50.

El exterior del hotel esta bien pero el interior es muy antiguo. Falta remodelar.
El baño antiguo y deteriorado. La puerta rota, el bidé no va, y la cisterna sin boton para descargar.
Pasamos calor, el aire no enfría. Fue horrible. Quizás fue lo peor.
La piscina llena de tierra y esto es porque ya se ha caído el pasto que esta cerca y con los pies húmedos se pega y entra todo a la piscina.
Bueno, esta cerca a la playa, el parking aunque costoso, fichas para tomar algo en el bar, el mini club y las actividades.

Une catastrophe au niveau de la sécurité, pénétration dans la chambre en notre absence, vol trousseau de clés maison et destruction de la clé de voiture, pur vandalisme? J’ai curieusement retrouvé ensuite la carte électronique interne de la clé de de voiture au fond d’un sac! Bizarre mais que je sache, c’est pas d’autre chose volée…pas eu le temps?
Le relevé informatique indique qu’a 10h13 c’est une carte autorisée qui a ouvert et total désintérêt de la réception pour enquêter. Une honte pour cette usine à groupes de touristes.

Non all'altezza di un 4 stelle. La pulizia della camera lasciava a desiderare, il terrazzo non è mai stato pulito e ho trovato ogni mattina cenere di sigaretta proveniente dalla camera sopra. I buffet della colazione, per quanto ricco, lascia a desiderare in termini di qualità

Sehr gute, ruhige Lage im Herzen Lloret de Mar. Fußläufig zum Meer in nur wenigen Metern erreichbar. Man kann sehr gut entspannen.
Service und Personal gut, ebenfalls Speiseauswahl gut, vielfältig und wirklich lecker.
Wir werden höchstwahrscheinlich wiederkommen.
Alles in allem sehr zufrieden. 👍

Personnel du bar même pas 1 souris durant 5 jours.
Restaurant - c'est le pire à volonté que j'ai jamais vu . Petit dej tout les jours absolument même chose. Dîner toutes les salades ont été composé de restaurants de jour d'avant. Très peu de choix.
Pour ce prix on peut trouver des hôtels bien mieux

Ce qui m'avais pas plu C'étais une galère pour trouvé une place de parking et leurs parking est toujours complet et c'était impossibles de réservé une place donc j'avais payé durant tout mon séjour. Et le personnel n'était pas très agréable surtout l'agent de sécurité.

Il nostro soggiorno di 21 giorni in questo hotel è stata una vera delusione! Nonostante di posizione fantastica- fronte mare e territorio molto bello, la struttura è tenuta molto male, le camere fatiscente: bagno con sanitari destrutti e mal funzionanti, i mobili rovinati, le tende bucati e le pareti sporchi. Invasione delle formiche in bagno non permeteva di lasciare il cibo per il cane nella ciotola per terra.... amministrazione del albergo a tutte le nostre richieste rispondeva, che sono le camere economiche, pero costano come in albergo di 4 stelle, invece in realta non vale neanche 3!!! Il ristorante invece è stato rinnovato e qualita del cibo e la scelta abbastanza buone. Pulizia scarsa- tavoli e piatti sono sporchissimi. Unica cosa positiva, che in albergo si ammettano animali, che la cosa molto rara per la Spagna in generale.

La situation de l hôtel à 50 mètres de la plage de fenals, par contre les chambres demandes de la rénovation
