Lovely stay, spacious accommodations! Front desk staff are very helpful. Clean building and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend including breakfast with stay. Easy access to Camp Nuo via city bus (paid $2.35 euro per person, bus driver’s prefer exact amount, will not give change) About 25-30 min cab ride to S. Familia Basilica ($55 Canadian). We did rent a car and parked at hotel ($12 euros per day). Safe and secure parking. Front desk staff were great giving directing and help. Transit passes would be cheaper- we didn’t have time to learn where to purchase one, so just paid cash.
Don’t be alarmed by graffiti on area buildings (some people may worry it’s not a nice or safe area). My family felt safe and there were lots of people walking and socializing. Dog park can be a little noisy at times with barking dogs.
Overall, I would highly recommend this property.

I stay here for 5 days with my family and we loved everything about the hotel from the security to workers, the hotel is always clean and there is plenty of things to do with the kids, every thing around the hotel is walkable. The food was amazing from breakfast to dinner, what I also really like was the star was available for us no matter what time it is, would definitely visit again with my family

Family holiday its was good.

The stay was nice, my family loves the swimming pool.

Our room was cleaned very day but not properly cleaned when we come back we can see it wasn't cleaned properly.

If you dont have all inclusive.

Lunch and dinner is very expensive €18.50 for Adult €12.50 for children.

For all Muslims Women’s who want to come here please be advised that they have banned Burkini which was very very disappointing and the worst thing is that they dont mentioned it on their website.

When deciding on a holiday destination, I did a lot of research before booking this hotel. And I was not disappointed. We have a great time!

Food
We were all inclusive.
Breakfast options include, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, toast, bread rolls, typical English breakfast items, meats, cheeses and pastries.

Lunch and dinner options include salads, fruits, hot freshly cooked food including pizza, fish and meat. An array of desserts/ice cream.

Snack bar running throughout the day and two bars to get drinks.

We were never disappointed with the food. I have a very fussy child and whilst he ate chips practically every day, he always had something different with them.

Facilities
Great pool area for kids. Be warned, should you choose to reserve your sunbed with towel, it’s likely they will be removed by staff if you are not on the premises. There an ample beds, you will always get one, just might not be where you want.
Playground, football/basketball court. Kids club with lots of activities. My kids are 10 and 6 and had plenty to keep them entertained.

Service
20 euros to use the safe which is already in the room. Staff very friendly. Loads of staff everywhere and always cleaning.

Area
Well placed, not in a very busy area but close enough to walk to shops and the beach. Only downside, long transfer from airport.

all adults have to pay a ‘visitors’ tax. Works out to be 9 euros each, not a fortune but I knew nothing about it before arriving.

beautiful hotel and food..needs allergy training

Absolutely fantastic family holiday here. We had 3 adults, 2 teenagers and one almost teen so we're concerned the apartment would be a living small. We were pleasantly surprised....a large hall area, big lounge with table and two single sofa beds and two good sized twin bedrooms plus a large bathroom and sensible kitchen. It was plenty big enough with a nice balcony although we were on the side of the building so didn't get much sun on it. Apartment was tiled so nice and cool with heating / air con that we didn't need to use in April.

The hotel was very clean, check in was easy and we were given all the information we needed. 15 minute walk from the bus station with buses to the airport, Barcelona and girona for days out...bus stop to nearby towns two minutes away. Beach was a nice 15 minute walk with two other beaches slightly further.

Pools were lovely... outdoor ones very quiet as they were still very cold at the beginning of April....I loved this as I had it to myself a lot of the time but some of the other members of the group stuck to the indoor pool.

Didn't really bother with the entertainment....it was quite quiet on our couple of walks past but early in the year.

Food....amazing.... plentiful, tasty, good variety and something to please evey. We'll worth full board with juice and hot drinks at breakfast included and pop or big water bottles e2.50 at other meals. Breakfast was fantastic. However....allergy information was non existent even when we asked

Brilliant hotel

Brilliant hotel. Travelled with a two year old. Had a ball. Animation team were brill with an inside kids club for toddlers. Kiddie disco and a show every night reception were so helpful room was ready upon arrival at 10.30 am which was a huge plus. Gail on reception was a lady, gave our smallie a float for the pool Highly recommend. Looking at booking again for next Spring.

Our staying was really excellent. The hotel is very comfortable with spacious rooms and cosy beds. We had our own kitchen with all the necessary staff. The hotel has pretty cute aquapark with several swimming pools. We bought FB staying and there were some unpleasant monents connected with drinks. We were not informed by the staff that the drinks are not included at all, even water. We tried to clear out this moment. But one time they said that water is for free. Next time they said that we can't take water. Everything would be great if the personnel had explained in advance what was allowed and what was forbidden. One moment was awful when my son of 10 years old poured water into a glass, one waiter said to him that he should pour it out of the glass as drinks are not included in our staying!!!

The rooms are spacious and clean. Furniture is outdated, but quality ones.

We chose half board with breakfast and dinner included and are happy with the choice. The food was nice and it was great to see their concern making sure everyone was wearing masks and with alcohol gel available all over the place.

The thing that stands out the most about this hotel is the staff. The staff is very friendly and always in a good mood. This includes the front desk, bartenders, waiters/waitresses and security personnel. We loved our trip there mostly because of the staff.

The overall experience was fine. The rooms were decent but the best part of the experience is the pool and amenities of the hotel. I would say now more than ever there needs to be more staff cleaning rooms and making sure they are cleaning the rooms properly. There also need to be more staff out by the pool wiping down areas and monitoring the crowds, making sure there is enough space between everyone using the facilities.

My wife and I have just spent two weeks at this hotel for our 40th wedding anniversary,
From getting there to leaving it was perfect in every way !
The staff are all excellent , the rooms were spotless and well equipped , the food was fantastic with an amazing range of different dishes to suit everyone .
We were made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable here at the Costa Encantada and can’t recommend it enough .

Good hotel with a lot of amenities. Pools, kids club, playground, bars, daily and nightly entertainment. Decent food, great Sangria. A bit far from the beach, no non-smoking section in the pool, staff outside front desk does not speak English, no food options between 5-7.30 unless you do all-inclusive, but I will give this hotel steady 4 out of 5. It is a bery affordable option in the heart of tourist area.

Large site with 5 pools and more sunbeds than guests. Great basketball, tennis and football courts . All clean and in good condition. Rooms are large and again very clean. Air-conditioned, fridge etc all good.
Gym is small and equipment not so good.

Overall our stay was very good. The hotel has a good cost x benefit relation. The staff was nice and kind and everything we needed was treated right away. The outdoor areas, like the pools were very nice and perfect for the kids. The only downside was that the rooms can get quite noisy at night, so on a few nights that people were making noise on the other rooms, that disturbed our sleep.

Great family holiday accommodation, with great in room facilities. Great variety of food to suit most people’s tastes & friendly helpful staff. This is my second visit here, but the first time it was with friends. However, knew the first time I went, it was perfect for a family holiday. My children thoroughly enjoyed the experience & they are aged 6, 10 & 15. Location is not too far from the strip & is less than a 10mins walk from Fenal Beach. There is a supermarket within 5mins walk, so you can easily stock your hotel room kitchen fridge, cupboards & freezer on a budget if you’re not all inclusive, full board or half board. Highly recommended.

For the price this was very good value, especially good for families. Dinner and breakfast had a good variety of food, we particularly enjoyed our breakfast. The room was comfortable and the mini kitchen with a large fridge was very useful. We had a ground floor room located over the nights entertainment so was a little noisy, but this finished in reasonable time. For us parking was a bonus.

Hotel was good value for money, worth taking breakfast and diner with room booking, very cheap and you can swap diner for lunch if needed. Brilliant food, huge variety. You pay for diner drinks. Breakfast drink included. Hotel rooms very basic, clean but not cleanest, but still you can feel like home. There is kids club and disco. Not much to do in Llorete with family, but recommend botanic gardens, there are 2. Water park i fun. plan your activities ahead otherwise you will waste your time looking for things to do.

Another wonderful stay at the Costa Encantada.

We had yet another wonderful stay at the Aparthotel Costa Encantada. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is fantasic and there are always plenty of beds and umbrellas. The restaurant can to be a little too busy at times, but the food is always freshly cooked and of a very good standard, (freshly cooked meats and fish)The apartments are keep beautifully clean, they are a little dated, but when you consider how lovely the whole complex is, it isn't a problem. We would highly recommend this hotel to families like ours. It is a good location to get to the beach and shops. There are good transport links, just a few minutes away as is Water World.
This was our second visit to this hotel and we will definitely be going back in the near future.
We stayed on a Half Board basis and found this to be the best option for our family. The pool bar is very reasonable. The games room around the pool is excellent and great if you need a break away from the heat. Thank you to you all.

Brilliant holiday for families.

Travelled all inclusive,as two pensioners and two teenage grandchildren.The Costa Encantada Hotel is a very welcoming hotel.The reception staff are very helpful and friendly.Our room 555 is almost at the end of block C and has two separate rooms divided by a small corridor with access to the bathroom and wardrobes.We gave the front room overlooking the pool and a distant sea view to the girls.This room contained two single beds,a kitchen area with cooking hobs,microwave,sink,full size fridge and a table and 4 chairs.Good size balcony and a further table and 4 chairs.
The room we had contained two single beds (pushed together) with adequate wardrobe space and hangers.
The selection of food in the restaurant is excellent.There is also a “hot” spot where you can have food straight off the griddle,i.e. omelettes in the morning to chicken,fish,beef and lamb steaks at lunchtime and for evening dinner.So plenty of choice.I would just add a small niggle,that the vegetables at all sittings could be kept hotter.
At poolside there is a cafe serving chickenskewers,burgers,pizza,chips,as well as a salad bar,also muffins and butter,with a good selection of on tap drinks.This cafe is open to you “all day”,you definitely won’t go hungry.
If you are all,inclusive you can have a bottle of wine or any other drink you fancy with lunch and dinner,(if you can manage it).
There is a small beach (fennel’s beach) just 10 minutes walk away.
Would recommend this hotel for families.

Staff all friendly and helpful. Kids club entertainers some of the most experienced I’ve seen, my kids loved them. Generally clean and you could see the cleaners about regularly. Food was generally good and something for everyone, I’d recommend going to the freshly cooked meat/fish area first as this can get busy and then adding your veg/ potatoes etc. All inclusive is very good, there’s is a basic snack bar, all drinks are covered and great for the kids.

LOTS of people. Large hotel that has pros and cons. The cons are that our room was in need of updating -- from the doors to the curtains to the couches (which you could sleep on which was convenient) to the kitchen which has barely any amenities and seemed very outdated. The area was very touristy but bustling. Many shops and restaurants and conveniently located a short walk to the beach. The pros are the huge breakfast buffet that was included and the pool area which was beautiful but crowded. Get there early to claim a spot! Wish they put a little TLC into the room and I would have been happier. Felt like a budget hotel room and Wi-Fi was spotty! You have to pay for it!

Wonderful stay

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday. We are a family of four who had two rooms. The hotel was immaculate , our rooms were fab with a huge balcony. We had half board , breakfast and evening meal and the food was amazing with a huge choice and great quality. The staff were all very friendly. Hotel was a super location with a ten minute walk to the beach and fifteen minutes to the main strip. We will definately return ! Thank you our expectations were far exceeded.

Great hotel, location, food and swimming pool

Lovely hotel, we really liked being able to eat outside for breakfast and dinner with gorgeous scenery of the mountain and overlooking the pool. Entertainment every night, and activities during the day if you want to join in. Pool is excellent, apartment was a good size and very comfortable and clean. A short walk to local bars, restaurants and the beach. A longer walk into Lloret de Mar but if you like being a bit away from all the noise and busy places this is good. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. We would definitely return and not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The locals told us this is the best hotel in Lloret.

It was ok but I won't be back.

Where to start with this very ordinary hotel. Let's start with smoking.........

As a non-smoker it would be nice to sit out on my balcony in the evening, with a glass of wine and not have smoke coming at me from all sides. The hotel didn't enquire as to whether we were smokers or non-smokers, if they had they may not have put us next to smokers, it meant we couldn't enjoy our balcony. Tip for hotel, have a non-smoking block. It's the same story around the Pool, have a separate section for non-smokers, this is the 2010's.

Food - average at best, unless you get there as soon as the buffet starts there is no way of knowing how fresh anything is or who has touched it. The coffee from the machine is awful, just awful.

Apart from that the resort is pretty awful too. Lloret De Mar is not a nice place and the hotel is a good 25-30 minute walk to the centre.

There are so many nicer places around here that I'd give LDM a miss personally.

All in all not very good, but by far the biggest problem is the smoking, as I said it's the 2010's, provide an area to get away from it!!! To have to pay for Wi-Fi was the final straw but to be honest the damage was already done.

Me an my partner went half board but would defo upgrade to all inclusive next time as we spent more time at the hotel that we thought we were going too! This is a massive hotel. All staff were very pleasant and our studio apartment was cleaned each day. We were half board and found the food to be the usual Spanish hotel buffet food. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The evening meal was ok for 4 of the 7 days we were there but not much choice on the other days. Pork, pork and more pork! We are not fussy eaters so always managed to find something. There are 2 microwaves in the restaurant which we always used as the food was never hot.

Overall the hotel was ok for us.

Great hotel for a family stay. Let’s get the negatives out of the way first though, it’s a little aged in places, could do with a fresh lick of paint in places but if you can accept that you have a great hotel for families and couples. Good location, a good 20 min walk from the centre of lloret de Mar, hotel is actually in fenals which is a very small town with a nice beach. 2 pools, indoor heated so perfect in spring and autumn where the outdoor pools are cooler, we used it all the time with our young baby. Everything clean and well kept in these areas. Plenty of play areas with slides, basketball courts etc to keep kids occupied. Rooms are generous in size and you have a balcony and a roof terrace if you are on the top floor. Breakfast there is a wide range of things available and it’s all nicely done and topped up through the serving period. Highly recommended hotel.

Nice stay

Our stay was a nice one. Food was very okay and the location of the hotel is very good as well. We were able to explore the town although we stayed for only three days.

The only negative experience was the Lady who checked us in. Our package included lunch on our arrival but we missed it by 30mins. The lady who checked us could not show empathy that we missed our lunch after travelling all the way from UK and two hrs to hotel from Barcelona airport. That was not friendly!!

Hotel was fine, Lloret De Mar was not.

I recommend avoiding Lloret de Mar completely. Its a tired old party town. Go somewhere worthwhile.

Family friendly hotel with good activities

Had a good stay. Enjoyed my holiday. The kids had fun. Hotel facilities were very good, variety of food provided. Most interestingly enjoyed the self catering rooms that enabled my family to feel at home.

Great holiday had by all!!!

Just back from a family holiday which was fab! There were 2 families 4 adults, and kids 17, 13, 11,10, 8, 7 and 5. Each and everyone of us had an amazing holiday. We couldn't fault the food - although we did hear other people not so keen, but they are catering for a huge amount of people and nationalities. We found there was something for everyone. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the staff work so hard. A few other reviews saying the staff were miserable but we had no issue with any of them. We were looked after very well. Our apartment was very spacious and we had a room on level 1 which had a huge balcony overlooking the park area. Would highly recommend this hotel and All Inclusive was amazing for us and worked really well. Would be happy to return to this hotel at any time.

Not so great.....

cleanliness was very bad, hotel originally put me in a high room with a view and bigger room with the right amount of beds needed, hotel manager then moved to me to the lowest floor in the corner with almost no view that I was not promised.

Very good for families with young kids.

I am giving it an overall score of 4 out of 5.
Pros:
1. very good value, especially the half-board option
2. excellent animation team. Mini club for kids throughout the day, activities for teenagers, games, adult fun as well (air rifle shooting etc.)
3. Good but repetitive food in the restaurant. Lots of fish dishes, small vegetarian selection
4. Very helpful hotel staff with one exception ( I will mention it in cons).
5. Although it is not directly at the sea-front it is only about 900m away and it took us 15 min to get there with the kids (5 and 8 yo)
6. lots of things to do
Cons:
1. hotel is in fair repair but clearly seen better days
2. pool attendants / life-guards were a joke. Totally uninterested in health and safety. There were rules written everywhere like no running around pools, no jumping into the water, no pushing but there were lots of kids doing quite opposite. I know it is parents responsibility in the first place but life-guards should issue warning, use their whistles and be more active (they were just sitting there looking bored out of their brains). I witnessed couple of minor accidents where a teen jumped on the back of a seller child - no reaction. When I asked the attendant why she did not react she said... she does not know how to argue in English.
3. It is not hotel related but worth mentioning: the beach is not sandy, rather fine gravel = cant build castles. It also gets very deep quite close to the beach front. Not great for kids that can't swim.

Great place just outside the lively Lloret center

Had a lovely 4 night stay. Half board was good breakfast plenty of choice from English breakfast and continental . Evening meals good choice but did not include any drinks we at least expected free water with meal. Had a recent refurb. Pleasant staff and we had a lovely room overlooking pool and no noise

The hotel was lovely. Brilliant for families/ children! The food was really good and the staff were very accommodating as our little boy has food allergies. We can't thank Paco (the head waiter) and his team enough.

Lovely hotel,very clean we traveled as a family,two adults and three children ages 2,4,8 and the enjoyed every minute of it.
Evening entertainment was really enjoyed by our girls and different acts after the kids mini club,plenty of choice food wise and always had something to eat,we went all-in.
About 10-15 minutes to the local beach,busy road before you get to it but didn't make a difference to us,hotel offers tickets to attractions and also has a little shop,although supermarket is 5 minute walk away,close enough to all we needed,we went to marineland for a day trip.we had a lovely stay here,

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

I had booked half board for a week . Food was excellent Kids enjoyed choices and they always had fries and sausages and ice cream so for the kids win win. Indoor pool was a blessing as it was mildly chilly being beginning of April. The only thing we were not happy about was the room service tend to not do a thorough job. Kids beds were pull out beds so their bed did not get made everytime and soap or shampoo did not get replaced. Otherwise very good friendly staff, comfortable room , good food. Will defenitly recommend to friends.

Nice hotel.. excellent customer service..

Hotel is 15 mins walk from the beach..although you have to walk along a busy road to get there..there is also a bus you can get outside hotel..transfer approx 1hour 20mins from Barcelona airport. Hotel is nice..large swimming pool..indoor heated pool also..would recommend half board.. as food buffet wes very good. All in all a decent few days in lloret de mar..

Nice hotel but rude staff

We had a lovely break away with our 9 month old and the pools were a real hit. The local beach fenals is a short stroll away and Lloret centre just a 10min walk away.
A huge disappointment for us was the staff. We were self catering so our interaction with them was minimal. On check in we received no instructions and I had to request a safe and wifi. On check out I told them our room number and our safe deposit was returned to us and that was it... There was no thanks for staying, how was your stay?, have you s transfer organised. I feel after paying for something a thank you is appreciated. Also the cleaner (hardworking) was so rude. On 2 occasions we returned to the room whilst she was cleaning it and she spent the whole time tutting and sighing to display hoe fed up she was. There was a towel on the floor and she muttered something to herself in Spanish. We felt very uncomfortable. The staff in the shop were very pleasant and the shop was very convenient.
I would not stay again due to the rudeness of staff.

Great hotel, pity about the pool

the hotel was very nice, staff and the facilities were above good, my only points of concern were 1) the pool has no heating what so ever! so very nice to sit around but if your like me and enjoy a swim; be prepared for a heart attack! the indoor pool is nicely heated but a bit small for laps. 2) the Dinner selection! if your a fan of pork and sea food this place is great, unfortunately I'm not! the additional selection is laughable, as it never changes. That being said, the breakfast selection was always fantastic, more than enough for every nationality. lunch varied from day to day...
This Hotel does suit any family size (as long as there are children), unfortunately for me and my partner this wasn't the quietest of getaways, plus the night time entertainment was all aimed at the kids (and not the BIG kids!!!)
but we did enjoy the experience.

We paid for half board and didn't realise that you can't even have tap water with your meal. You have to pay for it! Water is a basic need but that wasn't even allowed. We were given dirty looks when we asked for tap water. You really have to pay for every drop. Found the hotel staff very unfriendly and some were rude!

Big hotel with a broad range of guests.

The apart hotel was very clean and spacious. A bit outdated but that was known in advance. My main problem is that I could not enthusiastically recommend this place to families as some of the rooms close by were occupied by all male French groups intent on making as much noise, smoking whatever, drinking and showing no respect for other guests all day and night. The hotel should review this all adult policy if they want repeat custom from families.

Great hotel and staff shame about the hotel guests

From the time we arrived we could not fault the hotel staff especially Gail who went above and beyond for us. Hotel residents on the other hand we found were quite rude to other residents there and the staff - not used to being pushed out of the way at the food counters and not letting us in the lifts..... Rooms amazing and staff again were very friendly and helpful.

Great stay, beautiful hotel, Rude staff!!

Our stay was great hotel was beautiful and clean was an amazing holiday however the safe in the bar and restaurant were extremely unfriendly and rude!! Gail at reception was lovely and the cleaners. Two downfalls would be the bins having to clear them yourself while away should be including in the cleaning and the food was cold some mornings.

We're a family of five - two adults and three kids aged nine, six and three. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in similar circumstances. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No complaints whatsoever.
