Another exceptional stay at JA Resort, and once again Palm Tree Court exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and truly first class. We were very kindly offered an upgraded room at check-in, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

A special mention must go to Fernando, the Recreation Manager, and Kasun, both of whom were outstanding throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and added a real personal touch to our experience.

One of the things we always enjoy most at JA Resort is bringing our own fishing equipment, as the location is ideal for a relaxing morning or afternoon of fishing. Fernando’s knowledge and advice were especially appreciated he knew the best times to fish, shared some very helpful tips, and helped make each morning even more enjoyable for us.

It would be wonderful to see the hotel introduce organised fishing boat trips in the future, especially with the boats already docked nearby, as this would be a fantastic addition to the guest experience.

JA Resort continues to be a place our family truly loves returning to. We are already looking forward to being back again in a few weeks for more family time, more unforgettable memories, and of course, more fishing.

Nice enough for a short stay, for golfers and families and if you don’t mind being stuck out in the middle of nowhere and hence hostage to the facilities on site, albeit they are fairly comprehensive. This makes me sound like Victor Meldrew but IMHO this is not a place of relaxation in school holidays if you like peace and quiet as its common areas are full of screaming young kids - though there is thankfully an adults only pool.

Clean & good service but too busy!

Check in was easy and quick and room was ready by 2.15 when we arrived. So we got an early check in which was nice.
The gym is ok. Worth using.
Rooms were nice, comfortable.
Service was good.
But the queues to breakfast were a shame. Availability of foods was limited kept running out. Availability of booking restaurants at night time was disappointing as we could only get 18.30 yet when we left by 20.15, the restaurants were still not busy , so unsure why we could not book 19.00 or 19.30.
Swimming pool was far too busy which made it unenjoyable. We moved up to the pool at JA beach resort but again a lack of beds. We left the property at 10am on check out day. We would usually enjoy the last day.
The service made up the for disappointments, the bar staff work so hard. 1 person managing the pool bar, understaffed. I felt bad for the guy as he gave great service.

A great setting, great wildlife and beautiful rooms. Food was very average and over-priced. Not very accommodating to dietary preferences sadly and some areas were a bit run down like the captains bar.
But service generally was excellent and it is a lovely place.

No incentives at all being a VIP access property. The service at the restaurants were poor and some did not allow kids below 12 past 9pm. The pool timings are very short as compared to other hotels, resulting in overly packed swimming pools. Room service and especially in-room dining service was very slow. Overall a very poor experience.

Horrible experience at Repablic restaurant of JA lake view hotel that turned our anniversary celebration and vacation into a nightmare.. to start with , we were 5 adults and 2 kids. The frise which was served was cold and we asked to be replaced.. before finishing the dinner I got severe nausea and ran to the room because of food poisoning I had diarrhea and my wife suffered from the same thing the whole night with vomiting, her mom who was with us at the restaurant suffered from the same symptoms.. in the morning when we rised a complaint they sent us the nurse who requested for a stool sample from my wife to investigate , what shocked me the hotel is asking for 300 Dhs for the stool test!! Which we refused to pay .. they didn’t handle the complaint professionally and didn’t show empathy or care to know the truth.. adding to this the check in process took 2 hours and the water in the room (shower) is cold

Great Week away to chill and unwind!

Great week stay at the JA Lake View resort on All Inclusive package.

Nice hotel, great pool and not to busy.

You can go to the other hotels in the resort on the resort golf carts.

SandBar down at the marina was great to unwind in the late afternoon.

Special shout out to Dalen at the pool bar for great service and cool drinks!

Great stay and we will be going back again next year!

Well where to begin?
This hotel doesn’t have an address on the map and impossible to get directions to it!
It took taxi drivers 2 hours to find it from airport and cost us over $120 to finally get there
It’s literally in the middle of nowhere! In the middle of desert and 45-50 minutes away from anywhere!
Then we get to front desk for check in and rude staff disregard my VIP status and put us in a room on first floor behind the noisy restaurant and said there’s no room available which was absolutely dishonest because I checked online and there were multiple rooms available in different floors and then next day I asked the manager Mr. Morad to change our room and he lied again and referred me to his Boss Mr. Maher who was another rude and dishonest person!
When management is wrong what do you expect from staff?!
This was my worst experience in last 23 years traveling to Dubai
I don’t recommend this place to anyone not even my enemy
I had enough of this hole in the middle of nowhere!
I hope Expedia removes this place from the website!
If it wasn’t for cheap Eastern European tours I don’t believe this place would have any business!!

Room upgraded upon request, much appreciated! Some of the staff was real nice. Mazar, Piyush, Adonye, Hamza - some of the names and the buggy staff as well. Front desk staff was over-occupied and slow at most times. Was able to get through to the operator quick but not the front desk.

I’ve stayed at this property over 10 times. I’m a loyal customer and It’s a great Hotel full of fantastic amenities.
I did find that the staff at times dropped their service levels.
At times I was waiting for a drink for over 10 minutes when the place didn’t seem busy at all. During one meal our drinks actually arrived after our food. Other times I could be waiting at a bar for 10 minutes before I was served.

The stinginess of the all-inclusive package at times could be frustrating. I attempted to take half a bottle of beer back to my room as I needed to go and get ready to go out for dinner. I was stopped and it was suggested I should chin my beer rather than take it to the room. Obviously I had to leave it, seems a waste. I can’t see why taking a bottle of beer back to your room is such a problem.

Draft Heineken is not part of the package put a bottle of Heineken is. in theory 10 bottles of Heineken is. Not quite sure why.
Lots of things on the menu aren’t included in the all-inclusive package. That’s always been the case, not a massive issue.

I played golf, it’s a lovely course. £75 for the round (which is half price) seemed quite a lot when part of the all-inclusive package. What made it worse is the Marshall followed us around the course telling us to hurry up at every hole. He was literally parked up behind us when taking shots. We weren’t playing slow, at times we had to wait for the group ahead …and it completely ruined the round.

It was a great stay here at ja resort lakeview. We had a beautiful premium room with view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got early check in. Tahir in the restaurant was very cordial. May in the check in counter helped us with quick check in and easy checkout process. She also clicked pictures for us. Great breakfast spread.

Good choice but still some teething pains

The hotel only opened late last year and you can tell they're still having a few teething problems. There was no hot water in our room the second day and they would not serve us food by the pool on the Friday due to 'prioritising their brunch' their words. Not good enough for hotel guests who don't want to partake in a 4 hour expensive brunch. They fixed it in the end but took a lot of whinging on our behalf. Apart from that staff are friendly and helpful, hotel itself is nice, and we went to the main hotel for dinner which was lovely.

New property, bedroom clean, new furnitures etc, hotel was perfect accept it was middle of nowhere, construction site, expensive to travel in and out of the hotel. You have the free shuttle bus’s was very good. The hotel had no activities or stuff to do for families, no entertainment etc, was told there was kids club but no information was given lack advertisement on whats to offer overall other than that will definitely recommend!!

We paid tonupgrade to a suite which was awesome. The allninclusive package was fab. The food in the a la carte restaurants we prefered to the buffet. We loved the staff and the property. John from the sports secrion does really nice stretching classes every day near the beach! We have 4 months left in UAE and already trying to work out how many more times we can visit this resort. Totally loved it!

This hotel one of three hotels and it is so perfect in every way. Such a quality of the the external and internal architectural structure. I felt the whole complex was such a unique experience especially their cuisine.
The food is delicious!!!

You must try. The only thing I was very disappointed with Expedia booking adviser. He promised it was All inclusive but on the parer it stated Breakfast and buffer as it was last minute booking I did not have enough time to get all printed and confirmed information from them.

Double check and confirm with the hotel prior you travel. Not impressed with Expedia customer serives
