This is an older hotel, which I already knew.
Location was perfect, which is why we chose this.

PROS
- Fantastic location;
- Friendly staff;
- Excellant Buffet Breakfast, which we paid extra as part of the package;
- Free parking underground

CONS
- Pool closes at 8pm, which is ridiculous. We never got back before 9pm, so never had a chance to relax in the pool. It wud have been great to just chill there in the evening looking at the Marina;

- Showers only give hot water for 15 mins. This is because each washroom has its own water heater tank which is very small and runs out very quickly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Signature Hotel Apartments and spa.
The location was great with a 20 minute walk to JBR beach and the local facilities.The Dubai Marina was accessible via the basement giving you great access to the walk and restaurant and other local activities.
The staff at the hotel are fantastic from the front desk staff l,porters and the cleaning staff. They all worked to make our stay there fantastic and to name a single person would be unfair as it was a fantastic team effort. We would stay at the Signature hotel apartments and spa on our return to Dubai

I never do this, but this time i had to: Except from the russian gentleman at the reception, it's pretty aweful.
1) Room 709, oh boy! Alarm sound constantly going from the maintenace thing above the room, reported it, they go silent. Reported it again the second night, they sent maintenance, and then went silent again. I had to go down and sleep on the reception couch and they didnt budge. Guy said we're fully booked. Next morning, they pretended i was complaining about air conditioning while they are fully aware of my complaints. Overall, pretty dishonest staff, they knew all along and never told me about it. 2 stressful and sleepless nights.
2) asked for an electric plug-in adapter, it never came.
3) they moved us to another room where the 20 year old tv didn't work, reported it, played the same apologetic card again then reluctantly said they wont be able to fix it.
4) the heater in the second room is not fully functional, barely getting any hot water.

Very apologetic though, i bet after this review they will send another good apology. DISHONEST, STAY AWAY

Just try out the Jannah hotel next door. Way better

Worst hotel I stayed at. Very dirty, dusty, and the kitchen is very old. Bathrooms are moldy and smelled. Staff are unfriendly. The cleaning staff are good. But front desk are not helpful. Food was terrible. Gym is very small, not functional. There is no spa. The spa they claimed, is another company inside the hotel charging for service. I checked out 10 days early because I could not take the allergic reaction I got from all the dusk and mold. Bed is also very hard. Very uncomfortable place. But location is good but many other better hotels in the area.

I had to change my room three times.
No hot water if they give you a room floor and higher good luck with the water pressure.
Cockroaches water keeps backing out of the toilet.
Thermostat caught on fire in the room.
The list goes on and on pictures to prove it.

Overall was OK, but I have opted to take half board option, which i did not use at all due to lack of choice and quality of food. From day one, I contacted the duty manger and I asked them to be removed from my booking as I ended ordering food daily delivered to me. Plus I have contacted Expedia about it. Which as of now I had no positive response yet in refunding my food choice even though that the hotel agreed to it !!!

Good location but tired building and rooms could do with a facelift and bathrooms deep cleaned to remove mildew. Service was excellent and very friendly although not much going on.
Pool was empty most days and very little sun with buildings either side, but this is similar to most locations in Dubai. Not bad value for money for location and overall standard

The staff were excellent but the property itself is a little tired and could do with a bit of modernising. Bathroom had a lot of signs of mildew. Lighting was a bit strange. Pool area didn't get much sun but view was amazing. I would stay in this area but not at this hotel as there are better in the same area for less money.

Stayed here March 2019, booked a sale price online, harbor view 1 bedroom. Stay was great, fast and friendly check in, front desk staff were great, quiet hotel, good buffet breakfast was included with our room - omelet station was great. Room was ok, somewhat worn but clean and spacious. Balcony and view of the harbor was perfect. Close to the metro and JBR beach area, approx a 10 min walk through a pleasant area and boardwalk. The 5am wake up from the next door mosque didn't bother us at all, but it is somewhat loud if you have the windows open during the night and want to sleep in. Would stay here again. Cab was approx 110 dirham and the driver wanted cash.

My wife and I been to this hotel twice but this second time around our experience was not so great, I was extremely disappointed and upset that I was treated with such disrespect, the staff who were in the front desk (Elysayed and some woman) were extremely rude. I will never stay here again!

This is my second time staying this month and I will be back again next week. Value for money and location you can’t beat in Marina. If you get a room looking into the marina it’s absolutely stunning! Staff are very friendly and welcoming, choithrums being across the road is a bonus with the kitchen facilities.

Stayed 9 nights. Great quiet position on the marina promenade with lovely views, away from the madness of the JBR walk area! Only 20 mins walk to beach, metro and mall. Lovely staff, breakfast good and room has all amenities you need. Very comfy bed. However, hotel does need updating - bathrooms, towels and furniture especially. Pool area nice but barely gets 3 hours sun in November due to surrounding buildings. Not a prob for us as walked to beach every day. 24/7 supermarket across the road & taxis available just outside hotel. We had a great time and would stay again.

Conveniently located and good value for money. Due to extreme weather at my destination my travel plans were very dynamic. I came here first for a couple of nights. I jump around from place to place in Dubai to get to know the area via stays at different locations. The room smelled- even after the cleaner came through with the air freshener. It was not clean and on one occasion I was present when cleaner attended and did a five minute clean around. No vacuum of carpets. No wiping or dusting surfaces. Very disappointed with our stay. Over priced for quality of service and accommodation. Would not use again.

Beautiful view of marina and yachts from balcony

View overlooks the marina from balcony which is amazing, also the mosque is very close to the hotel, when it's time for prayer, the call for prayer from the mosque can be heard 5 times a day which I loved...! I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint is that I booked free late checkout through expedia when I booked the hotel and flight, I was called by reception on the day of leaving saying that that is not the case and that I was to call expedia to clarify which was very frustrating considering I had not slept in two days and had our day planned already...! Apart from that very nice hotel

My stay here was nice, the apartment room was a good size and nicer bedding than in the photos. The room could do with a few touch ups maintenance wise, with some sockets close to the bed as there was none. Also there was a smell that appeared from a drain in our kitchen every now and then.

I stayed there for 4 days. Manager at reception was very helpful & offered me pool side room as requested. Lotus hotel team is excellent where the strive for customer delight. I never had to worry about food because their kitchen is open 24 hrs!! :-) Their swimming pool is Marina water facing which gives excellent views of the river. Commuting is very easy if you want to take Metro (10 mins walk) or Taxi. We could book any tours/rides & collect tickets at reasonable prices from hotel Travel desk. Hotel also has massage facilities run by third party which is a plus.Overall I am very pleased with everything provided & all amenities & will highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

A hotel with a wrong attitude

To begin with I had clearly mentioned to the hotel that we will arrive at 5pm but inspite of arriving at the hotel by 8:00pm, the room was not ready and we had to wait for another 30 min to get our room. During the delay, I repeatedly asked them why are they delaying and they told me they are trying to give me a partial view room (I don't know why they were TRYING, that is what we had paid for and booked). After the delayed process of check in, the receptionist Mr Ali irritated us saying that \"Your friends cannot come to drop you to your room\". After insisting and arguing for a long time, he decided to treat us like thieves and asked for their ID as a security that they won't be staying. If he thought they stayed, as any other hotel, they could have just charged us for extra beds/persons. But they chose to behave arrogant and speak with a disrespectful tone.
I immediately demanded that I must meet their manager and he directed me to another one of the receptionists and said that the latter was the manager(he was also the receptionist).
Fast forward to room. Overall it was ok.
But Very very smelly bathroom. Extremely delayed house keeping.
I recommend to avoid this property if you can. Only stay here if you totally must.
There are several other hotels nearby which are similar in price.

Hotels are all about hospitality. And it begins and ends with the reception.
If the hotel reception treats us bad, what can we expect from the rest of the hotel?

Rodent droppings

Booked for 22 nights and had stayed at this hotel before. Found evidence of a rodent in the room. Checked out one day early after finding the droppings.
Hotel refused to aknowlege this issue as I had used tissue to pick up the dropping and flushed it away. Offered me another room which I refused as I was not prepared to stay there after. Also refused to refund the one nights

We arrived at 11am check in was 2 pm Melanie was on reception . She was very helpful gave us a free upgrade and we where in room by 11 30 . All the staff where very helpful and friendly. Checkout was quick and easy . Pool is a little small but pleasant and quiet to sit in the afternoon . The hotel is a great location for everything.

Great location, good view, perfect on a budget

The hotel was a great location and has good facilities, the breakfast is good quality, not amazing, but has what you'd want, cooked, continental and fruit.

The room was a little tired, looking worn, the bathroom certainly could have been cleaner. This is what has let the hotel down for me as the staff were very helpful and the location and view is fantastic.

I would go there again, but I would be looking for the deal prices.

Overall, brilliant. For the price you will not get a better hotel than this in this area, tesco 10 seconds walk away - JBR a 15 min walk or a 5 min taxi ride, marina on your doorstep! Only negative thing is call to prayer at 5am with a nearby mosque but this didn't bother me as its a Muslim country.. What did you expect??

The location is great next to Dubai Marina. It's more for local and Oriental families as it doesn't serve alcoholic beverages but it doesn't bother us. It explains the price of the room. We chose it because this is the most affordable 4* room. Dubai is an extremely expensive city. The swimming pool has a lovely view to the Marina. In overall, the hotel needs to be renovated as the room looks old but it's clean. We had an early check-in, it's very much appreciated.

Good hotel right on the Marina

Flew to Dubai with my sister to see her son who is a teacher. Had a fabulous time, saw all the iconic sights, of which there are many, Dubai certainly has the WOW factor in spades, and then some. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the world-breaking stunning architecture. Everything is bigger and larger than life. Dubai is certainly the jewel in The Middle East's crown.

The hotel is ideally situated for a quiet holiday but near enough for the main attractions. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were big enough for 3 people with sitting area, a kitchenette and 2 toilets and one shower and one bath. I had a balcony room and the view from the room was superb. The Emirates Palace is visible from the balcony. I would stay here again as the hotel has all the facilities you require. The swimming pool, the sauna, the steam room and the breakfast were excellent.

lovely marina view.

beautiful marina view and lovely pool overlooking the marina. no bar which is a shame. extra sofa bed was very uncomfortable. great bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Good place for family staying

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel on Marina beach, Dubai. we have selected appartments instead of ordinary room, because we travelled with our son. Only 12-15 min walk from metro station. Same short walk to the beach. There are many chinese, italian, morocco, indian cafes in 5 min walk. Few times i was afraid that not closed a water in the shower. But it was just a sound of lobby fountain, because we stayed 1st floor.

Damp and leaky apartment, very disappointed.

Hotel quality has certainly dropped. Damp and leaks throughout the apartment. Noise from the surrounding kept us awake late at night and early in the morning. Road works and tram make access very poor.

Clean, well equipped, great views

This was a fab hotel/apartment. Very reasonably priced for the location as I was on the marina and the bedroom and living room had excellent views of the marina. It was within 10-15 minute walk of Dubai Marina Mall. Taxis were easily available to travel to Mall of Emirates (10-15 mins), the Palm (10 mins), airport 30-45 mins depending on traffic but the hotel offered a shuttle service, which was around £40 there and back. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. There's a tescos right outside the hotel to get all the essentials and more. There's a spa also which is open til 2am! This was my fourth trip to Dubai this year and albeit I've stayed at other apartments on the marina, this was by far the best and I shall most certainly return there very soon.
