Our stay at Stella Di Mare Dubai Marina Hotel was very pleasant. The location is very convenient, especially being close to the metro, which made it easy to explore Dubai. We were happy to receive a room upgrade, and the larger room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was big and well designed. The breakfast offered a rich selection with a good variety of options, and the staff were welcoming. The only uncomfortable part was the repeated request to make a payment in advance and check in before 6:00 pm; otherwise, the reservation would be cancelled. According to my booking, payment was supposed to be made at check-in. It was not clearly explained why there was a risk of cancellation, which caused confusion and required additional communication. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a great location. However, the guest profile of the hotel is largely Russian-speaking travelers. Many restaurants, cafes, and tour announcements were also available in Russian, which shows that Dubai strongly caters to that market.

This hotel falls far short of a 5‑star standard. While the cleaning staff and porters were consistently polite and hardworking, the rest of the team could benefit from proper hospitality training. The service overall felt inattentive and unwelcoming.

The rooms were another disappointment. The photos online are misleading and do not reflect the actual condition or appearance of the accommodations. Additionally, the quality of the food was underwhelming and certainly not what you would expect from a hotel claiming to be luxury.

Overall, not an experience I would repeat nor recommend.

Great Hotel and really well located. We stayed for 5 nights. You are a short walk to the Metro station which makes it easy to get around: the Hotel is clean and tidy with a generous and varied breakfast and dinner buffet. The rooms are maybe a little dated, however, they are spotlessly cleanly with no issues. I would stay here again.

The room we got the first night was terrible. Old and dingy. The view of an unfinished building. If you opened up the drapes, you could see people looking right at you through the dirty windows.Felt like a 3 star hotel. The staff was able to get us a different room the second night with much better views of the marina. The room was cleaner and seemed newer. They are very strict on not allowing cancelation. We booked this room an hour prior to showing up, saw the room, and requested refund right away, which they did not allow.

The hotel was lovely, great location and excellent service. Lots of choice for breakfast and great room amenities. Nice pool area. The beds were a little hard. The bathroom let the hotel room down. The bath plug didn’t work so couldn’t use the bath, the shower seal was old and looked dirty and the pipes screamed when trying to use the shower. Overall a nice stay for a shoer trip but wouldn’t book for a longer stay.

Nice for a short stay however very bad traffic near the marina adds time onto every journey. Request a higher room as we were on floor 3 and the mosque was loud even through closed windows at 4am. Fridge in the room is TINY so consider this when visiting in peak summer like we did as no freezer to freeze water. Lifeguards were very friendly, however hotel staff especially in the restaurants favouritized the Russians so keep this in mind. Breakfast is really nice but dinner is bang average, one big benefit they supply you with a 2L bottle of water free of charge at dinner if half board and 2 small bottles to the room everyday.

The hotel itself inside is gorgeous
Everything is pure quality
The marble rooms were my fave having old world charm about it

Not the hotels fault but only downside was there is no real view because of construction happening but it’s very quiet inside

Also didn’t use the pool as when I went it was so very busy

We had a great time staying at Stella. The location was great and close to the local supermarket and DMCC metro station. The hotel facilities were amazing and I had a lovely massage during my stay. Breakfast every morning was amazing and lots if variety of food. The staff were always attentive and very friendly. Cleaning staff did an exceptional job well done, the views were great, the pillows could be softer and the thing that did let down the suite was the lounge suite it is badly stained and really needs to be replaced to bring it up to a better standard. The courtesy bus needs to run on an hourly basis due to the amount of tourists wanting to use it

The rooms are big and some with good views. The service is not consistent is more dependent of who take your inquiry, at the reception we asked to check as the reservation we thought was with breakfast, they never checked or get back with an answer. We order almost the same breakfast everyday and once they mention that items where not in the menu so they couldn’t take the order, and we just wanted boiled eggs … service is not good for the price .

So happy with 13 minutes walk to the Persian golf beach, great food in the hotel- breakfast and dinner was part of our stay. staff speak good english and russian languages, clean dining room, delicious food. The towels are available, pool water clean, kids friendly pool as well as an adult pool. The grocery store close by, small restaurants are available in walking distance. Me my 5 and 12 years old kids were happy to stay there for our family vacation. Kids friendly place for family vacation. We added my mom to our suite because she came from another country to join us at this vacation. She had a discount for 75 citizens for additional breakfast and dinner. Fantastic, we are planning to stop by there again for next Dubai vacation. Recommend for US citizens and Russian tourists as well.
