Not what I expected to be . I had 2 rooms and they were both small compare to what they charge for it . Location is far from everything . Hard to get taxi in front of the hotel . Food quality not so great . Phone calls to front desk was a challenge by it self .

I’ve been traveling to dubai every year since 1999 and I have never been this disappointed . The costumer service was horrible . I had to call 6 times for the front desk to pick up and finally when they would respond they just ignored your request . Or they would deliver it with a long delay . The location is far from everything so you must have a car or your taxi expenses will be high . The rooms are very small compare to other hotels in dubai that I have stayed in the past . Their food quality is not as good as I was expected again compare to other hotels . The building it self is kind of old and you can see and feel in ones you enter the lobby . Over all it was a disappointment . I would never return to it . You can get much better hotels for the same price

This is a nice hotel to stay. The breakfast is lovely. The hotel has had a refresh recently. The person who did my check in and check out was exquisite (I’ve never used that word for a check in person before ) Zipporah. What a beautiful asset to your hotel.

Very good location, large number of restaurants nearby. Quite a few supermarkets close. Pleasant walk to metro and tram stations. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean and comfortable, possibly in need of a little update as looking a little tired. Iverall a very pleasant stay and would visit in the future. Mistakenly hasnt booked breakfast for our stay, was offered to add on when we arrived but found a number of nearby restaurants that were very much cheaper

Really old, dated, substandard for Dubai property. Some of the staff are good - the vast majority really don't care - you don't get any of the welcome or greeting you get at even the most basic of Dubai hotels.

Rooms are fine - but not what you'd expect from this brand. The bed was so old and saggy in parts. Pillows thin and flimsy.

The gym is the best thing about the property. It's really good.

Breakfast was nice - the kitchen staff were really friendly (the friendliest I'd seen). The reception staff at breakfast acted like they didn't want to be there - and didn't want me to be there either.

A mistake choice for this trip as I needed to be in Jumeirah for work. Next time I'll just say at my regular, the 25Hours, and deal with the traffic.

Booked this hotel for a leisure trip for 14 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. We booked half board to include breakfast and evening meals We had some concerns about the room that we booked as well as menu choices on offer for our evening meal as it wasn't buffet service as we assumed it would be. We addressed these to the Duty Manager who listened to us and went out of his way to make sure that the remainder of our stay was as memorable as it could be. We were moved to a more suitable room which fit our purposes for a leisure stay much better. All staff were very helpfull and friendly and went out of their war to make sure our stay was pleasent.

Outdated hotel with extortionate prices

Movenpick is listed as a five star hotel and I wouldn’t even give it a three. It’s so outdated and the quality is so poor in comparison to other hotels in Dubai./around the world at a five star rating. It’s a 3 star maximum. It was a disappointment given the price that I paid and to make matters worse, the spa charges an extortionate amount - I didn’t appreciate the front desk being so pushy about extending your spa session or massage to get more money from you… it was lacking in class, but the therapist themselves were lovely.

JLT is good for business trips.

The hotel looks like it needs some renovation , what made me give a 3 stars overall is the fact that :
Not a single American News tv channels were available.
After a day of work ,or in early morning ; One would appreciate to listen to some news from Home while taking a shower or having a coffee in room.

For the American person that I am , this simple point - easy to solve -: Meanwhile it made me NOT '' feeling Home ''away from Home. Thus , a big No from my side , and wont come back
Hopefully they will realize their miss ... and add : CNN // or any other American News ' Tv channel.

Stay away from this hotel at all costs! My friend got an electric shock in our room, and instead of showing concern, the staff were shockingly unhelpful. When we asked to speak with the general manager, they conveniently claimed he wasn't available and made excuses. To make matters worse, when we requested to cancel our stay due to safety concerns, they threatened to kick us out of the room! Expedia was no better, providing zero assistance in obtaining a full refund. Terrible service and a complete lack of care for guests' safety. Avoid this place like the plague!\"

I was scammed by fake pictures that don’t belong to the property. Does not have a beach or sand , you need to take a shuttle 3 times a day to the beach 15 mins away by reservation . Hotel located by the most dirty lake smell , restaurant cooking smell in our room, management changed my room , new room toilet broke twice , tub water is green , shower head broken , sewer lake cleaning smell every day . There are a lot of single contributions regions for this property . We have traveled extensively and stayed also at Atlantis and Avani palm and both are better

Firstly staff. Mainly staff in dubai are insanely good. Staff here seem disinterested / for eg Avani palm have a WhatsApp system nothing too much trouble / here I asked help with a local booking- nothing I can do?!!!

The food is nice but very small and basic. The hotel breakfast is at a random bar next to the hotel and lunch and dinner ( nice ) are from a set menu which is odd as you’re sat in a beer garden full of smokers !!

Pool is great but no sun until 11 but beach club amazing. Shuttle free but times rubbish ( pick you up early and we wanted to stay all day ) tip download the careem app and use local taxis / so so cheap

Location good - food poor and service poor. We had a “ suite “ this isn’t dubai level suites is Uk 4 at best

The staff at The Movenpick where outstanding, they could not do enough for us. We had half board and the food and service was excellent. I felt the hotel was very good value, the free shuttle to the beach was an added bonus.
The metro was less than a five minute walk, with a chemist and two convenience shops right outside the hotel. The bedrooms were clean and well designed, with a safe.
Though the hotel pool was not enormous there were spaces available at all times.
Comprehensive gym, with a sauna.
The reception was effective and professional.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had a small issue with the room when we first checked in but the following morning as promised the live

lovely reception staff sorted this for us and upgraded us to a junior suite. All the staff from the front desk, concierge, breakfast, lifeguards and especially UBK Bar staff, waiters and waitresses were super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The Riva Beach Club is also excellent as well.

The standard of this hotel is a 4* not 5*. It is not family friendly and would not reccomend for city breaks. The walls are not soundproof so you don't get a peaceful rest as you can hear road traffic. The staff and manager are really professional, friendly and tried their very best to accommodate however all rooms have the same level of noise.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times over many years. I know how good this hotel can be.
Sadly, on this occasion I was left rather underwhelmed.

I was given a room on the 8th floor - newly renovated I was told. So I was happy to hear this and looked forward to seeing the changes.

Indeed - new carpets in the hall, new paint and artwork on the walls, in both the room and the corridor made everything look refreshed and restored.

Sadly, small things had been overlooked. The rainfall shower sprayed upward into the ceiling, soaking the roof as well as the user.
The handheld shower blew itself apart with the water pressure, as it was held in the hand.

The window lock broke and wouldn’t close.

Then there was this new eco-friendly approach.. Movement sensors in the room which means when you’re in the bathroom for any length of time.. You’re in darkness.

I mentioned all of this to reception, but it was only in the final few days of my stay. They apologised, and offered me the chance to move rooms.
But given the fact it would probably be more hassle to pack up everything and move, I didn’t bother.

Maintenance came and fixed all issues as they occurred - but knowing how great this hotel has been in the past, this was a disappointing stay - especially for a refurbished part.

Service can’t be faulted, overall the hotel has great facilities and generally though and because I know it well, I’d still recommend it.

Staying at the Movenpick Jumeirah Lake Towers hotel was a very beautiful and refreshing experience for me. Have travelled far and wide and stayed in hotels but this hotel is the best with customer service and truly making you feeling special on all sides. It was a perfect stay and value for money spent. The staff were just too excellent , Raju and all the others from Front desk to the concierge to the restaurant they were all wonderful👌

Location of the property is excellent. Superior rooms are not in good condition. We were upgraded to suits which are in good condition and spacious. Staff at reception Mohamed Salah and security staff Mohsin are very helpful but restaurant staff and manager lacks skills and have no interest to serve the customers as everything is rushed at the breakfast.

I am going to leave a lengthy and honest review.

1) There were times when the phones in the room didn’t work which was very inconvenient
2) At night, my mother wife & I noticed certain hours where the AC would just stop working. It’s as if they shut it off
3) When you call and ask for something they take like 45 minutes and you have to call twice
4) The images online do not match the rooms we received. They show a picture of the bathtub facing the lake. There was no such thing…..lol
5) The walls are not soundproof. I had some sleepless nights due to obnoxious & rides guests next door. When I complained to the reception they said “We will send security sir” the next day they go “We didn’t hear any noises.” I guess I was just hearing things and I am crazy??….
6) They downgraded Movenpick to Accor so they took away chocolate hour and a lot of cool amenities
7) This was the worst WiFi I have had in any Hotel in Dubai. It was a piece of JUNK
8) Room carpets were dirty
9) There were people who smoked on our floor despite that clearly not being allowed
10) Location kind of sucks. I would recommend staying downtown or JBR.

This is not a 5 star hotel, this is a 3 star hotel

Everything was fake 😒 you will not see what you was see in the photo , if you want see and lesson how the construction is going on yes you can book in these hotel sorry hostel maximum what can be call , the shadwo 1/2 cant close even the air-condition without client control , send you to ather location 10 KM from the hotel to see the beach thear is the surprise, No No No bad idea to book in the place, hope to be improve to have good vision for dubai. hotels
