The hotel itself was great. Room and amenities very good. However, my credit card was charged for the room cost even though I had already prepaid on Expedia. I queried this and was told it was a mistake and would be refunded. Still waiting after 2 weeks. Hotel state they have refunded it, bank categorically state that they have not refunded it. Most worrying part is that I never left my credit card details with the hotel. I paid the resort tax via contactless payment so the hotel have somehow obtained my details from that.

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were excellent.
The main issue we had was the lack of sun around the pool because of the tower’s shadow. As we like to lay out and sunbathe, this obviously would be a deterrent from returning. Also the lift situation can be somewhat frustrating!!!

Staff were great. Elevators sucked. Could take up to 20 mins to get into one. Poor design. Housekeepers weren’t great. They didn’t change sheets that were dirty, comforter had urine upon arrival, wouldn’t refill toilet papers or Kleenex or replace dirty mugs. Valet was great!

Excellent hotel in a great location. The staff are extremely efficient and attentive across the hotel. Lots of bars, restaurants and the beach all within walking distance. JB's in the hotel is one of the best bars in the area for food, music and ambience. My only slight criticism is that the beds are very hard, even with a topper. Didn't sleep well. 3rd stay and will stay again.

Hi overall had a lovely time and location was very good and our room was excellent. I would of rather had a walk in shower rather than a bath but thats my personal preference.
The traffic each night to get back to the hotel was terrible the swimming pool was in the shade most of the day. The beach sunbeds should be offered at a discount for any persons staying at the nearby hotels. The double Glazing to the balcony is of poor quality allowing all the street noise into the rooms as if it was next to you.

I don't even know where to start describing how awful this place is. 5 stars it is not, we felt totally scammed, I've stayed in 3 star hotels WAY better than this hell hole. We arrived at 1:30pm (check-in is at 2), the room was not ready. I can sort of understand that but other hotels, especially those claiming to be 5 stars, already have a room available 30 min before the check in. The girl on reception immediately tried to upsell us a more expensive room, then disappeared before checking us in, and we stood by the reception counter for over half an hour, with no-one updating us or showing any interest in us. We had to ask someone else eventually about checking us in, and even though at that point it was well after 2pm, the was some confusion about our room. After we were finally given a room, it was not the room type we booked - we booked a room with a king bed and a double-bed sofa, and we got a room with just two double beds for 3 people. When I called reception and complained, it took them another half an hour to have someone call us back. Then a single bed was delivered to our room (without confirming with us if that arrangement was ok by us), which took all the free space left in the room. The staff person bringing the bed had attitude of being greatly inconvenienced by this demand.
The AC did not work in the room, and it took them over 24 hrs to send someone to look at it. Even after supposedly 'fixing' the AC, it didn't work properly, but it was just enough to cou

Great hotel, rooms are large & clean. Amazing service from all the staff. The room attendants were really thorough and always make sure you have everything you need. The staff at the pool are great too! Location great. Only small downside is the lifts are a bit slow only 3 for 25 floors so can take a while for one to arrive / be empty.

Our room was well cleaned every day thanks to Zeeshan. The pool area was nice and the lifeguards were nice. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Nice walking paths and close to tram and metro. The only minus was that there are people who park sunbeds with their towels and then disappear for a few hours, that doesn't make it fair for those who actually want to swim and sunbathe by the pool area. The lifeguards should remove those towels and give the beds to others who plan to stay there. Another thing was that we could hear the traffic very well, but nothing you can do about it when you live so centrally.

Fantastic location for Jumeireh Beach - the area around the hotel is great and the walk over to Bluewaters Island is very near. Traffic is busy but that’s because it’s central but taxis are very reasonable. Some people say the hotel is noisy but we found the rooms to be very quiet with excellent housekeeping. The pool was also much bigger than some reviews suggest and the hotel kept the water cool somehow which was a great relief in temps of 40+ degrees

I have stayed at many five star hotels. And this hotel met all my expectations. I came on holiday with my sisters we booked two sea view rooms for five nights. We will give this hotel a 10 out of 10.

From check in to check out, the service from all the staff at the hotel was excellent. They were polite, friendly and very professional. Our room was cleaned by Furkan everyday and was immaculate.

The health and wellbeing centre and the swimming pool was clean and in excellent condition. We also booked a massage at the hotel.

We booked the breakfast for our stay and the variety of the intercontinental breakfast was excellent.

The sea view room, along with the location of the hotel was great. Everything was either a walking distance or a short taxi if required.

I will strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to visit Dubai.

The customer service from every single staff member was 100%. From the second we got out the taxi which was after 1:30 am. Efficient check in
Process then heading to a comfortable room. Have to mention Sultana who really helpful when planning days out and giving us great deals. The concierge service was really helpful as well. In the mornings the lifts were busy for breakfast but the staff member(sorry I can’t remember her name),was doing a great job helping and controlling the lifts. The breakfast choices were incredible from a traditional options to Indian breakfast. Next time I book a holiday in Dubai this is my hotel choice.

Will not be coming and staying in this hotel again. Upon arrival check in was nice and smooth however when we went to our room there was so much noise of construction happening which was on going work in the hotel. I knew this would be a problem so I requested for a room change or I was thinking to leave the hotel. The manager George, such a lovely gentleman changed my room to a higher floor (24) with an even better view and there was no construction noise thank God. However there was a ridiculous amount of noise from the clubs and road downstairs despite the floor being the highest. The hotel is not soundproof as it states on their own website as well as third party sites. Facilities were good at the hotel, breakfast buffet was good and once we had dinner which was also nice but not much variety to choose from which was a disappointment. Yet again, on the first day the aircon was working perfectly but after this it was so hot in the room and despite complaining and asking for a fan several times nothing was done. Yes someone came to check but they kept saying it’s cooling it’s fine, you left balcony door open then that’s why even though we did not leave the door open as the temp was so hot! Some of the night staff were so rude it was not acceptable. one occasion without my knowledge the housekeeping staff entered the room after midnight and turned on all the lights despite we being asleep and not dressed appropriately I was fuming! Felt like I have wasted my money here :(

Stayed at Amwaj Rotana for 6 nights. We had a lovely experience. I just checked out and got a link for the review and I wanted to make sure I write one on the way to the airport. It's a great hotel in the jbr area. The location was fantastic with so much to do around the area. Rooms are clean, nicely laid out. Staff was courteous and went out of the way to make sure we were taken care of. They even gave me extra time to checkout. Ordered room service a couple of times. Food was excellent. Wife and I decided we're only staying here next time we're here. Thanks Amwaj Rotana!

Amazing stay at this hotel. Special thanks to Wiam who gifted us a dinner voucher to use at the hotel as there was a slight delay in preparing our room. We didn’t mind as the staff were so accommodating and we could see they were genuinely busy. Really enjoyed our stay here, dinner at the Horizon was amazing with plenty of choices. So glad we booked this after a 5 nights stay at the Jumeirah Beach hotel and can confidently say, we had a better time at Amwaj Rotana. Our room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was always fresh with plenty of choices. The hotel is broadly located just walking distance from all the main attractions and restaurants of JBR.

Our cleaner / housekeeper Akash was very friendly and helpful when we asked for more water to be provided. All of the staff were very courteous and polite.

My friend had lost her sunglasses and when we reported it to guest services and the reception team they were most helpful in helping us to review the CCTV footage and try to locate them again which was really appreciated.

One thing I would say was that there is an issue with waiting times for the lifts (elevators) and sometimes we waited for close to ten minutes before the lift would come which could be quite frustrating.

Overall we had a wonderful 7 night stay at the Amwaj and would return in future.

Stayed at this hotel 3 times now. Can not fault the service. They go above and beyond where they can for there guests.
Day of arrival, unfortunately room took a hour longer than check in time than expected, was offered complementary lunch whilst I wait due to the delay. Luggage was bought to the room and I misplaced my lock key- hotel staff kindly helped by breaking the lock off for me!
Rooms were always cleaned thoroughly and sheets changed upon request. When I called from the room for anything, wait time was minimal! They were always as quick as they could be.

Breakfast buffet, selection of food! Loved it my favourite part of the morning!

Pool staff extremely helpful and always asking if you needed anything.

Spa staff, can’t fault the massages and reasonably priced (previously stayed at another hotel due to this hotel being booked up - I still came to this hotel to book my massage, that’s how good it was and the service).
Hotel valet - always very polite, unintentionally kept leaving the panroof and windows open but they would always kindly close when parking the car, minimal wait time went requesting for my car.
One occasion during my stay my car wouldn’t start outside the hotel - the staff were great with helping the mechanics push the car round the back parking area.
The door men, day/ night security always very friendly, welcoming and chatty!

Overall another brilliant stay! & Definatly will be back!

It’s located in a tourist center, so it’s convenient to reach the beach etc. the room size is ok, the sea view rooms can partly see the sea. The bathroom is very small and old the toilet cover is smaller than the bidet. Amenities are very basic, pool has no view, and hotel is very noisy, even on the 25th floor. House keeping was good for the first night then service declined.

Arrived at 2pm check in time. But the room was not ready until 3:30 pm. Waited in lobby was offer free drink. Other than that Fantastic hotel with best location. Rooms are wonderful with sea views, Breakfast was good. Service is excellent. DMCC metro station is 13 min walk from hotel. Housekeeping is very friendly. Thank you so much. Will definitely stay again.

Well located to walk the JBR walk. Close to everything. JB onsite bar is excellent pricing during happy hour.

Cleaners 1 night appeared about 6pm and not at all the next night. Not the quietest of locations but central to everything. Breakfast was excellent but if you waited till the last hlur you had to queue a while to get in.
