The room was lovely and great size. The food in the hotel was unreal. Especially at the Peacock Restaurant where the staff was the friendliest people we have met and provided 5* customer service. The pool area could be improved, the pool was pretty small and not many beds. It was difficult to get a bed on the beach also. Seemed like quite a few had put their towels down before breakfast. All in all the stay was great and the location was perfect.

See through bathroom

Walked in to the room couldnt fault it till i seen the frosted glass bathroom!!! You could still see the silhouette when showering got hotel to put up a shower curtain then there is no locks on the bathroom. Come on how expensive is a lock. I had a 8 year old

The hotel is amazing, the rooms were magnificent recently renovated. The buffet was amongst the best.

Some areas of improvement would be to add more plants there were some open areas with drying lawn.

However it’s still one of the best hotels at JBR. The room design should get an award more value than most especially considering its location and beachfront at JBR

Special mention to Naik from the kitchen, The young guy from Nepal at the reception he was so nice and helped me get my Apple Watch back.

I really loved that that made a cake for us to say goodbye and those 2 ladies were also nice can’t remember their names but one had a light blue dress and manned the breakfast reception.

Perfect Stay at Sheraton JBR Dubai!
From the unbeatable location to the incredible staff, my stay at Sheraton JBR was nothing short of perfect. The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the breakfast was outstanding! The chefs even prepared off-the-menu dishes for us, and everything tasted amazing. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back!
Note: While it’s no fault of the hotel, there can be traffic build-up from the late afternoon onwards, so plan accordingly.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort (JBR) in Dubai, and I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I've had.

Location: You really can't beat the location – right on the beach with stunning views, and just steps away from The Walk at JBR and Dubai Marina. Whether you’re after relaxation or looking to explore, everything is conveniently close.

Room: The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a fantastic view of the sea. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and housekeeping kept everything immaculate throughout our visit.

Staff & Service: This is where Sheraton JBR truly shines. The staff were all amazing – friendly, professional, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. A special mention to Terrence at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful. We arrived early on a morning flight, and he went out of his way to get us checked in quickly so we could rest and settle in. It made such a big difference and really set the tone for the rest of our stay.

Breakfast Experience: The breakfast staff were 1000/10 – seriously amazing. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel so well looked after every morning. What made it extra special was that the chefs even came out to greet us personally and prepared off-menu dishes that were absolutely delicious. That level of care and personal touch made our mornings something to look forward to every day.

Absolute 100/10 stay, we cannot wait to come back. The staff here were so attentive and kind, nothing was too much for them! I lost my phone and the hotel was nothing but helpful when contacting the company I lost my phone at. The hotel rooms are stunning, clean and modern. The breakfast, lunch and dinner selections are top class and the chef’s will literally make you whatever you want ( I am a fussy eater so this was perfect for me! ). There was no hash browns on one morning and I asked if they could make me some and they came out with a whole plate full! That is the only was I can describe this hotel- you ask for something and you go above and beyond for you. We were so grateful for the amazing gifts left in our hotel for my partners birthday and for Easter ! The private beach is perfect and insanely SAFE, we left our bags on the beach everyday as we knew the lifeguards are always watching and keeping everything safe. The hotel is directly on the beach and just down from JBR strip of shops, restaurants and beach clubs. Thank you SO much Sheraton for the most perfect and relaxing holiday. We hope to come back soon!

I stayed at the Sheraton JBR few times as it’s very good but this time was much better as it’s been fully refurbished.
Mr Mohamed El Aghoury was very helpful and respectful dealing with my queries.
The staff at al hadeqa restaurant are really nice and friendly specially Sameh and Waleed, we spent most of our evenings there great food and service.
At the beach Most of the staff are helpful and friendly specially Abdul Rahman always helped with a smile
Me and my kids love the place and definitely had a great time as always, when ever I go to Dubai I will stay there it’s feel like home when you are surrounded with lovely helpful smiling people 24/7

Great place to stay

Rooms are nice and recently renovated. Close to lots of restaurants and fast-food places. The grounds and pool area are great and are right next to the beach and The Walk. Most staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The restaurants on site serve great food and drinks, although somewhat expensive, the buffet breakfast has plenty of choice.
Very easy access to taxis, trams and tours.

Really enjoyed my stay at Sheraton JBR.. by far the best pool I’ve been too at JBR in terms of size and it’s not blocked by other hotels so you get sun while in the pool.

Private beach was nice to have also.

Breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were amazing.. one of the hostess Pattie was particularly great with me and my family.

We had a sea view room which was nice and spacious.. nice view of the big wheel, sea and the rest of the hotel.. only downside was no balcony on our floor (you had to pay more) so drying clothes was tougher but other then that was good.

You’re right on the strip so you can exit the hotel and you’re at the end of the strip and walking 3-5 mins you’re around all the restaurants and stuff or via the private beach you can get there even faster.

All in all we have stayed at 3 other hotels in JBR and this was the most pleasant experience we’ve had

This is an old hotel. You can tell once you get inside the room. The bathroom fixtures are outdated. The location is great being close to so many restaurants like Bla Bla and shopping. They have their own beach access and the hotel pool is ok. This is a family-friendly hotel with lots of space outdoors.

I agree with some of the other reviews: this property is dated but it definitely is not as basic as a Travel Lodge. It is still 5* if you bear in mind that it's an older hotel in a superb location. I was pleasantly surprised by the room which was spacious and very clean. Good black-out curtains, aircon worked fine and decent soundproofing (could not hear Iftar feasts or the Friday night party from first floor). Bathroom was tired but clean and hallway carpet was stained. Staff were all amazing: Olivier and Lee the trainee at reception, the brilliant cleaners and waiters, the breakfast staff every day, the lovely ladies at the cafe counter, all the pool and beach staff, the concierge who went out into the street to get us a taxi and had to drive back in the taxi as it was some distance away. They cannot do enough to help and are super-smiley and polite. The level of service is better than some 5* hotels I have stayed at.

What you are paying for is location, location, location. If you want a new, snazzy hotel, this is not it. But there are very few places in Dubai where you can walk out of your hotel onto the beach and onto a pedestrian walkway that takes you to Ain Dubai (great for views, sunsets, food) and all the way past the Pavilion on the Beach up to the Hilton. It is such a pleasure to be able to walk, run, jog from the hotel and not have to get a taxi every time we want to leave the hotel. That is what you pay for. And this hotel is worth the trade-off.

The hotel was comfortable, perfectly located in JBR for restaurants, the beach and marina. Every staff member we spoke to was courteous, friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Particular mention to Anastasia on reception who helped us when we arrived early and our room wasn’t available. She made every effort to minimise the inconvenience - a real star. Would definitely return again.

They were extremely accommodating to the customer's needs. I arrived on a morning flight and they arranged earlier access to my room as soon as they had one ready, with no friction and no added charges. Same for check out, they offered extra time based on my flight time out with no cost and no friction. The cleaners would work around my schedule for when to clean the room if I was in there during the day, as a normal level of service. It was a very pleasing experience to stay at the Sheraton JBR and I'd recommend them.

The location is excellent. On Jumeirah beach and close to the Marina. You can Uber anywhere for £7. Loads of restaurants, clubs and things to do…water sports, sky diving, everything is near by. I imagine it’s the best location one can have. Atlantis and the others all suffer from ‘keeping you in the resort’. You can get there cheap and then pay £100 for a pizza. The Sheraton puts you in walking distance to the best restaurants in Dubai.

Sadly the Sheraton is dated and it feels seriously lacklustre compared to the headline hotels. Compared to Atlantis and the Royal Mirage it feels like a Travelodge. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a 5 star hotel and some aspects are worthy, but the decor, room feel and overall finish just isn’t competitive. If you want the perfect location for good value this is for you. If you want to be dazzled by the best Dubai has to offer, then you should avoid. Staff are good, as with everywhere in Dubia tbh.

We had a great time at Sheraton JBR. The hotel is beach front with access to private beach, the location is perfect if you want to explore JBR and the marina, but also conveniently located to hop on a Taxi to downtown.
It was our anniversary and the team went above and beyond for us, by preparing balloons and chocolates to also advising us on where to go for dinner.

This hotel is advertised at a 5 star - however it was built 20 years ago and hasn’t been updated since - which makes it naturally more of a 4 star as it cannot compete with the amenities offered in other newer hotels - basic things like plug points and USB ports - smart coffee machines ect are not available let alone new

The pool swimup bar looked like it was out of service years ago - with a huge build up

The hotel has a good location, lots of amenities, nice private beach, and excellent staff and service. The things I didn’t like about the hotel are cleanliness of rooms and the low quality standards. For instance stains on hall way carpet that gives you a vibe of 2 star hotel (even after notifying the hotel staff about some issues that may seem obvious no one seemed to care). Balcony rooms facing the walk (main attraction street) also face the hotels large dumpsters.

It was an amazing experience from a room with a balcony that has a great view of the ocean and Ferris wheel :) The breakfast was super and the private beach plus the huge swimming pool were incredible. The staff were fabulous and to name a few - Hussein and Vinod at the front office, Kajol at the breakfast floor :))))

Our stay in general was excellent special thanks to Ahmed in the reception and Joyce in the restaurant we touched a very high quality of customer service from them, the Diner was delicious thanks to the great Chef.
In the Breakfast an unpleasant act happened of serving other people before us without respecting the order of first come first serve this lead us to leave the restaurant without having the breakfast as an act of protest but the restaurant management apologized for the mistake and served the breakfast in our the room.

Overall a pleasant hotel with nice service.

The location is great, and most of the staff are very friendly and service oriented, which I believe makes the whole experience better even though the facilities are outdated and do need some renovation. However I personally feel quite satisfied staying here. One thing though, I think hotel guests should not be charged for just bottle water in the pool where you already get lucrative revenue from day-pass guests.

The room was very dirty, I was shocked. The wine bottle opener had food crumbs leftovers, the bathtub was clogged. Due to the corona virus I felt that I need to clean everything beforehand, and the result was a disaster, the tissue paper I cleaned with turned brown and black from the dirt

Wonderfully located between the beach and the Marina, you have shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The hotel has fantastic staff, from the reception team to security, where everyone would go out their way for your comfort. The furniture is a little bit out dated but still very nice. I had the Junior suite (sea view) and once again the furniture was a little dated but very comfortable and the view was excellent! This hotel is wonderful for couples, families or even if you are visiting alone.

This resort is a great location, right in the Jumeirah Beach Resort area with lots of cafes and restaurants close by. The hotel itself has good facilities with a large pool including a swim-up bar, various restaurants and several bars.

The private beach is just steps from the hotel and has plenty of loungers. There are various activities available at the beach including jet-ski hire, parascending and other water-based fun. The beach is safe from children and has shallow entry to the water.

Our room was on the second floor facing the front, but was still quiet. Room facilities are good and the room itself was spacious. Guests can request a range of additional amenities at no charge such as extra robes etc.

We didn't use the spa, but from what we saw it looks to be very nice although (as is common with hotels) the treatments are pretty expensive. The on-site fitness facilities are very good, properly air-conditioned and offer quite a few options.

We didn't eat in the main restaurants but we did frequent the Black Goose bar, which shows lots of sports and offers some decent draught beers with occasional guest ales. The food was pretty good too.

The staff were excellent, I had a couple of minor issues which the manager dealt with immediately. The only little nag is no carpets, The municipality had the carpets removed from most of the hotels near the beach for health reasons, flooring is tiled with rugs, sort of Mediterranean feeling. That said the rooms are more spacious than some of the newer hotels.
