Really quirky and comfortable B&B with the most amazing hosts. We were made to feel so welcome and Anna makes the best ever homemade cookies! My friend is gluten and dairy free and Iain and Anna could not have been more accommodating. Excellent breakfast, comfy and very clean rooms. Sorry we only stayed one night!

Everything about our stay was excellent. The accommodation was warm, spotlessly clean and the twin beds very comfortable. The room itself was the smallest in the house but we found it more than adequate and were very happy with the space. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. The guesthouse is conveniently situated on the main bus route into the city so, as we did not have a car, there wasn't a problem getting out and about. All in all a fabulous place to stay. Highly recommended.

This was an experience not to be missed. Our hosts, Anna and Ian made us welcome in their home and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The breakfast was as good as we would ever expect. The room was perfect and we had the luxury of their lounge and garden to use. A very professional pair and they are very good at what they do and provide. 11 out oof 10 on all counts. Superb.

Well what a lovely find this place was. We were looked after by the owners from start to finish, Iain was super friendly and extremely helpful checking us in, showing us around etc. Our room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. When we left we were given free home baked goods by Hannah which was a really nice touch. Was like staying back at home with our parents bless them both. Beautiful place and would highly recommend.

A fantastic gem of a guest house, ideal for visiting Lincoln. The Victorian decor & character is pleasant & homely. The hosts lain & Anna treated us & all guests during our stay like royalty. Only stayed for a night but had such a lovely experience. The Victorian room is gorgeous, I loved all of the little trinkets and antiques, it's hard to feel bored as there's so much to look at! Iain and Anna make you feel so welcome and cared for like family without being intrusive at all. The homemade oat cookies are not to be missed! I will absolutely be recommending Creston Villa to any friends or family travelling to Lincoln :)

Delightful B & B in Lincoln
Creston villa is a surprisingly pleasant little B & B, and well recommended if you are heading to Lincoln. It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed treat, which does not sell itself in the manner it should. The owners Ian and Anna could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect, and I would not hesitate to say they are the friendliest owners I have come across. We were in the 'Victoiran room' at the front of the building, yet despite being on a major road there was no traffic noise at all. The bedroom was a delight, far removed from the usual bland interior you might expect for the price we paid. While there I sampled the home made marmalade which was delicious. I bought a jar of the thick cut with whisky. Also highly recommended. Cannot imagine there is a nicer alternative to Creston villa in the area. Well worth a visit, and it is a reasonable walk into the town centre. The breakfast was continental so no big fry up, but plentiful and more than enough to start your day.

Check in was great and property owners are fantastic.
On site parking is not available so you have to use surrounding roads. This requires parking on pavements a short distance away which is not convenient and very annoying in places as the vehicles on the pavements did not leave enough room for cases to get tthrough.
Room we had was on the first landing facing the road. Was very noisy at night with a lot of Ambulance traffic.
The bathroom was not directly connected to the room but located on the landing outside so was not convenient to use at night. Shower was also on the small side.
I would recommend having a rear room if staying here.
Breakfast was very good and plentiful.
Location is close to town but not really walkable.

The owners have clearly put thought and love into this guesthouse. It's practical with everything you need, and the amenities are high quality (good hairdryer, super-soft bedding, nice range of teas and homemade snacks). It's also pleasantly quirky with interesting decor. I smoke and especially appreciated the patio area with the amazing ornaments. The house is also spotless (and I mean, spotless!) but not the sort of place where you feel constrained by that. On the contrary, the owners, Iain and Anna, are warm, friendly, and engaging with a good sense of humour. They make you feel relaxed, welcome, and \"at home\". I really appreciated the snacks that catered to my dietary requirements - very thoughtful. The care from the owners and attention to detail all makes for a great atmosphere where I think anyone would feel very comfortable staying. Highly recommended. Thanks for your hospitality!
