Nice, clean hotel with a couple of good restaurants nearby.
Difficulty with the heating and cooling of the room; had to leave the window open to cool it - could not control the temperature. It was winter time so AC was not required it was a matter of less heating.
I lost our room key and, according to the hotel rules, it is a 30 Euro charge for a new, plastic room key. This is not noted when booking the hotel but is a policy on a sheet of paper at check-in. 30 Euros for a plastic card is ridiculous. No other hotel anywhere charges for a replacement card. Fortunately, the hotel agreed to waive the charge but it should never have been an issue.

Great location , easy to go to town and train station . Peaceful surrounding and safe . Takes about 8 min to train station from where you can go to various places . We visited Lake Garda 2 days in row . Best was Riva del Garda . Train to Rovereto costs about 6 euro and bus from there to Lake about 2.40 . Great day out and comfortable return by Ferry to Limone ( brief stop) and ferry to Desenzano and train back to Ark.

What was likeable was the cleanliness of the room and also the comfort of the bed. Unfortunately there were many disappointing aspects to our stsy. First, the reception staff were cold and unwelcoming. Second, the small and poorly appointed room was a cause of discomfort - inadequate toiletries, no coffee maker etc. Third, there was little similarity between the photos provided and thecreality of our room. Additionally, the diverse but poor quality breakfast was disappointing (cut up hot dogsfor the hot breakfast). I'm not sure how this was rated 4 stars. A joyless experience. There was no hospitality and care to ensure guests would feel at home - it felt like, as guests, couldnt wait to leave.

There is nothing to recommend except that it is near the train station. The corridor is full of bad smells, especially the female receptionist at the front desk, who is rude, impolite and disrespectful to guests.

When you first enter the hotel, it looks good in general. But the rooms were a disappointment for us. The curtains are so dirty that you feel uncomfortable. The air conditioners are central, you cannot adjust them yourself. The bathroom kits are empty. There is a lot of noise in the rooms facing the train station.

Very helpful reception staff breakfast staff were very efficient. Good breakfast which was suitable for all diets. Italians don't drink milk in their tea so they don't supply in the rooms, asked for milk at reception and was provided. Rooms weren't cleaned daily but towels changed

Location is far away from everything. Expect a 20 minute walk to all attractions. Definitely not 4 star, they don't even give you coffee to make in your room. You have to bring your own. Wont be back.

This is an awesome hotel. Rooms are modernized, has air conditioning, gated parking garage, good breakfast, and more important than anything, staff are amazing. Everyone we spoke with was very welcoming and enthusiastically helped us. To give you an idea of how kind they were: my wife has been in the early stages of pregnancy and was not feeling well. Our checkout was at 10:30 but she was dreading heading out of the comfort of the room with her nausea. I asked the front desk if there’s any chance we could pay to stay longer, and they told me that 1 hour is no problem, but more than 1 hour would be 40 euros. I told them I’d check back in an hour. She still wasn’t feeling good an hour later so I came back and told them I’d pay the 40 euros, and they instead told me 1 more hour was alright for my particular room. We ended up making it out shortly before 12:30 with no extra charge. They even let us keep our luggage/car with them until we left Verona later that day.

I understand there’s a chance the room may not have been available for free. But the fact that I offered to pay for an extended stay 2 times and was offered it for free speaks volumes. A wonderful hotel, with the only drawback being that it’s not quite central. But we didn’t mind the walk anyway. :)

Great location to visit the city and its history. The staff were very helpful with suggestions on places to eat and things to see. The rooms were nicely configured and the bathroom was great. The Ark Hotel, Verona

Modern, functional hotel with well designed rooms and comfortable beds. Very handily placed 300-400 yards from the mainline station enabling us to take day trips to Milan and Padua. Venice, Monaco and Innsbruck are also accessible from the station. Buffet breakfast was absolutely fine. Meanwhile Verona town centre is about a kilometre away (15-20 minutes walk).

Welcomed by pleasant reception staff and quickly allocated our room, which was spacious, comfortable bed and plenty of amenities. No U.S.B ports. Triple glazing eliminated any street noise, as it is situated on a main road, with roundabout about 50 metres away.
Parking is underground and secured by a digital combination pad. The lift is close by.
Breakfast was plentiful but very few of the fresh produce was enclosed, which made it very difficult for my wife who is Coeliac as the bread products sat on a shelf above most of them. Even a crumb can cause a severe reaction.
There is a large pleasant seating area outside to the rear, great for recharging the batteries in the afternoons after wandering the city. The centre of which can be reached by an easy 20 minute walk. The main bus station is 5 minutes away.

Coffee needs to be changed (very bitter and we are in Italy so was a very strange experience for me) , breakfast in general I did not like (I would prefer less options but more tasty ; or one homemade cake). There were many options but lack in taste. Bread was not tasty either, that I would change too.

Very friendly and professional stuff - Maria and Felipe helped us with all our questions. Easy walk to a train station (5 min), 10 min. to the old city. Quiet and clean, rooms are big enough, buffet breakfast with lots to choose from. Stayed here for 5 nights and would recommend that hotel for Verona visitors.

Breakfast, as in most places in Italy was only ok...mostly served cold lunch meat and cheese but I guess this is the custom in Italy, so I missed hot scrambled eggs and waffle options but I have no complaints with anything else. Our stay did go pretty well. The location of the hotel was in a very convenient place as it was close to the train station. The food was ok, though it can be improved. Our hotel room was nice. Although, we noticed some ants. It was fine though, but they did crawl onto our bed. Also, just a suggestion, may you please add a microwave than just having loads of empty drawers. Anyway, now my most favourite part of the room was the rain shower. It was soothing and it cools you down after adventuring and walking for miles. Also getting the right temperature for the shower was nice. Overall, 8/10. It was great but there were a few flaws and disappointments.
