Staff were very friendly and accommodating! They gave me suggestions and directions for places to eat and visit around town. Communication with hotel before my stay was excellent! Room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Thank you for the extra pillows!! Breakfast was delicious and a great value for the price. Excellent location; only a couple of blocks to the train station made it easy to walk to, and just a 20 minute walk to the main area of Verona!! If I come back to Verona, I will absolutely stay here again!

Hotel was an easy walk from the train station. The room was a good size and it was nice and clean. The shower in the bathroom had great pressure and again was really clean. Staff were friendly and the breakfast that was included in our accommodation was great. Not really any eating options around the hotel if you are looking for dinner, not supermarkets either.

We chose Novo Hotel Rossi based on other users reviews and its proximity to the bus station, as well as walkability to historic and tourist sites . I am so glad we did!! The hotel was easy to find, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was a great deal and offered a good selection of food. We were able to walk to the historical district in about 15 minutes and felt safe doing so, even at night. However, the stand out about all of these great things was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful!! If you are looking for an affordable, comfy stay, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel near Porto Nuova station

A short distance from the railway station - easy to trundle suitcases to. Thereby really convenient to reach Pescheria del Garda for a day trip.
20 minute walk to the historic centre or a 5 minute bus ride from the terminal opposite the station.
Clean, comfortable and quiet.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent buffet breakfast - juices, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, cheeses and meats, pastries, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, olives, etc. Tea or coffee brought to the table.
Our room was serviced every day.
Large bed, desk with one chair, kettle, cardboard and plastic cups and tea/coffee/sugar sachets.
Small fridge with two complementary bottles of water (charge for additional).
TV, wardrobe.
En suite shower room (large shower cubicle).

Perfect Location to visit Verona

We chose the hotel because of it's location, 15 minute walk to the train station and bus connecting to the airport. Bus to airport is around 8 euros. Perfectly located to get to the center of the city, too, if you are OK with walking, we didn't take public transportation or taxes, and went all the way to the Castel San Pietro, on top of the hill with the viewpoint. Everything in the hotel was clean and modern, they have bikes that you can borrow for free to get to the center, if you prefer that

Great staff, great location, poor comfort


Positives - the room was clean, the bed was big.  The staff are excellent, and were very helpful in moving us rooms when our original one was attacked by a plague of mosquitoes.

Negatives - the air conditioning unit makes an exceedingly annoying whirring sound all night, but it was too warm to sleep without it. Similarly, the bedside phone has the most annoying blue light, that kept me up until I disconnected it. The mattress was quite hard, and the pillow extremely thin. All things together meant it was not a great night's sleep. Basically it's a commuter hotel, if light and a/c noise and hard mattresses don't bother you, it's fine.

Excellent staff who really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Close to the train and bus station, and the hotel provide free bikes for an easy journey into the centre of town if you don’t fancy the 25 minute walk. Rooms immaculate and much needed powerful air con!

The location of Novo Hotel Rossi is perfect - just 5 min ftom the train station amd bus stop for the center.
The hotel is excellent in terms of comfort and room size, perfect clean, friendly staff.
While outside in Verone was very hot, the air condition in the room was swithched on and we found the room cool. When we were leaving for walk, we asked the staff to turn the a/c off for the time when we were not in. Later in the evening we came back and asked the staff to switch it on again. He set it to 23C. We felt this was too cool and turned it off completely. There at the corridor the temperature was cool as refridgerator. I told the staff it doesnt need to be so freezing. While I was up and down to the bar, while I was waiting for the elevator, I began to sneeze. It was that cold in the corridor for no reason. I thought how does the hotel covers the electricity bill when using the a/c so irresponsible. Beside this, all was excellent.
