Clean rooms but a very dated hotel and a lot of worn out furniture, doors and even the taps.
The rooms are not soundproof and there is no air conditioning in the winter months. The room gets very hot so I had to leave the windows open all night. About 25-28 minutes from the city and 10 mins from the Porta Nuova station

I would stay here again if I didn’t have any other options in Verona. On the plus side breakfast is good and the staff named Precious is very welcoming and friendly!

Price was ok, but the hotel/room poorly maintained. In the room, the heating could not be regulated by the thermostat, the water pressure was not sufficient for the rain shower to work, and the wifi was fine in the lobby but not functional in the room. Breakfast was plentiful and fine.

Nice big hotel, close to the main station. Basic room I had was very spacious with good bed and bedding. Large selection at breakfast. Only downside was the room was a connecting room, could hear very clearly the guest next door due to only a normal door separating the rooms, not soundproof at all.

Internet was non-existent. You had to stand in the passage to get a connection. Once inside room where was nothing. Even if you sat in the lobby there was only intermittent access. Had better connection in the deserts of Morrocco.

About 10 min walk to Piazza Bra and the Arena and another 10 min walk to Juliette’s House and the letter wall. Great shops along the way and many restaurants to choose from. The hotel is a little older, but well kept. An annoying shower head but not a big seal. Large assortment at breakfast. Overall we thought it was good value, not a long walk to the center. Taxi from train station was 12 euro but it was 16 to get back to the station. It’s close enough to walk, but it was 33 degrees and sunny and we didn’t want to haul our luggage!

Overall good experience. Very good VFM. Hotel and room clean and spacious. Comfy bed, bathroom all good. Staff and breakfast good. Only negative was air conditioning leaked water into wardrobe, moved clothes into adjoining wardrobe so no real problem. The hotel is quite dated but has charm and is clean and comfortable. Was dubious before my arrival but was very pleasantly surprised. 15 minute flat walk to centre of Verona and 5/10 minutes to train and bus station. Very busy roads to cross though.

Positives were it was close to the train station. Breakfast was reasonable.

Challenges were bed was uncomfortable, mosquitoes in the room, the shower had a pillar obstructing full access so the shower door could only be part opened to access. So you had to squeeze in to get in and out. This was not noticeable until the morning of the stay when the shower was required.

This hotel was close to the train station and only a short walk to the centre of Verona. The rooms are large and spacious but tired and could do with a make over. Walls had marks on them and the curtains had stains and slight rips on them.
The bathroom was clean but again water damage on the bottom of the door was off putting.
Apart from that the staff at the hotel were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
I would stay again due to the location.

The hotel is in a good location not too far from city centre however there is not much close by. I ate in bar one evening and the food was average. The rooms whilst comfortable and clean were quite dated. Whilst the hotel has a 4 star rating i didnt feel that the headboard and base of the bed in my room upheld this rating.

Upon arrival we were faced with a rather brusk and rude front desk clerk named Sara. Very heavy accent and difficult to understand. The lobby itself was dingy and the seating was dirty.
Some of the staff seemed as though they didn’t want to be there. The room was adequate in size but the sheets on the bed were too short and uncomfortable. The shower was impossible to switch back and forth from overhead to spray. There was mold in the bathroom and the grout was dirty. Breakfast was ok but charging extra for an omelette was ridiculous. Limited security. Very surprised the back door was always unlocked with no key entry. Overall, very disappointing . Drapes were also dirty. Faucets were leaking. This place needs a major overhaul. We will not return nor recommend.
The only positive was the location and the lady at breakfast who was delightful.

Although the hotel looks decent in the pictures , it is nothing like that. Our bathroom had mold in the shower and around the shower door and on the floor by the tub. The sink drain and tub drain did not work. Wehad trouble turning the transfer valve from tub to shower
The reception staff waa rude especially Sara. At 7pm we asked for maintenance and were told they had no one . We then asked to speak to a manager and were told there was none on premises. I also asked to speak to a manager the morning we left and again waa told there wasnt one on duty.Literally a horrible experience.

The hotel is very nice overall — clean, comfortable, and with a pleasant atmosphere, though it does feel a bit dated in terms of decor and facilities. The room was tidy, and the bed was fine, but the pillows were quite old and not very comfortable. They did offer other pillow options, but only for an additional fee of €3, which felt a bit unnecessary.

Breakfast was very good in terms of quality, but somewhat limited for vegetarians. Some items commonly included in hotel breakfasts (like plant-based alternatives or hot vegetarian options) were only available for an extra charge — up to €11.

My main disappointment was the location. The hotel is quite far from any kind of public transportation. If you plan to go anywhere, you’ll most likely need to take a taxi, which adds up quickly and makes the stay less convenient.

This is a terribly dated and worn hotel. The photos must be years old. The bed had splits in it the shower door was very unclean the toilet didn’t flush. The aircon went off when you went out (34degrees outside). I have never stayed anywhere this bad

El hotel está bello pero esa persona para front desk destruye lo hermoso del hotel, deben poner enchunfles al lado de la cama.

The hotel is beautiful but that person for front desk destroys the beauty of the hotel, they should put enchunfles next to the bed.

The wifi was unusable even google maps was to much for it. The gym has 2 universal machines both broken and only 5kg dumbells. For the price you could simply use an IHG hotel for less money and get more amenities. The breakfast was good and the room was clean if the hotel overall was pretty dated.

Generally ok stay. Rooms are tired but function ok, including the much needed air conditioning, but a single usable socket in a room? No air con in public areas in evening. One lift out of action. Maid knocked door at 8-45am on day of leaving and key blocked whilst we were at breakfast even though check out 11am. Ok but not great.

Receptionists were nice and helpful. Hotel is very dated. There was mold in the tub/shower. It was hard to get into the tub/shower because the side was so high. Adapters wouldn’t stay in the outlets because they were so loose. Bed was VERY uncomfortable. Room was very warm by American standards—never got temp below 24.6 degrees Celsius. TWICE employees tried to enter our room unannounced—once to confirm that custodial service had been performed and once to check the a/c. No knocking—just tried to barge in. Breakfast was great—lots of choices. Location is far from main sights in comparison to other hotels. Would not stay here again.

This is way below what you would expect a 4* hotel. The place is run down. The bathroom in the room was disgusting with toothpaste marks from previous customers, horrible green mould around the bath, roof panels falling off and simply not acceptable. When we asked about this at reception they said all the rooms were the same. Really not good value for money.

I loved the patio area next to the canal and the cool breeze due to the mountain waters. It was beautiful! The lobby of the hotel was completely an amazing place too. Very good front desk staff and easy checkin and checkout!
Very nice big and very clean room - and mine had a great view. Windows are double pane to cut down the noise of a nearby major street. View from my window was looking out towards the farmland and industry.
Very soft bed! Good TV channels! And great shower and bathroom. Very good value!!!
My issues were that the Italian government did not allow hotels to run AC until mid May - and it was hot. Keeping windows open meant you got the noise from the street. The other issue was location, and in day and early evening it is not a problem - but two dark spots and the tunnel beneath the railroad are not great places very late night between hotel and the old city gate. Crossing the major roadway is easy - just waiting for the lights at the pedestrian walk, but it is a walk into the city.

Despite the modern outside looks of the hotel, the room was very basic. Plain walls without any decorations, a cheap and uncomfortable spring mattress and thin pillows. Parking was a complicated matter and is an extra 18 Euros a day. The most positive of the stay was a generous included breakfast with delicious options.

The hotel is close to the Porta Nuova train station. I liked the river flowing outside with the water features. There was some nice seating outside as well but as my stay was brief I didn't get a chance to explore most of the facilities. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with difficulties getting a small table for single person. The bed in the room was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean.

We only stayed for one night but loved the hotel and would definitely come back. It was a short bus ride from the airport and then all the shops/restaurants/attractions were within walking distance so the location was perfect. The staff were lovely and friendly here. We also had a drink in the bar as we wanted to sit in the bar/lobby for a while as it was just so nice. Our room was a decent size and just overall a lovely stay here.

Very disappointing, regret booking this hotel.

Ladies at reception are horrible people with absolutely no charm and no customer service skills. Room was too hot but management refused to turn on air conditioning. Dated bathroom. No kettle in room. Only good thing was the breakfast and the breakfast staff who were friendly.

Beautiful but quite a walk

The hotel is quite a walk from the train station. We had to drag our luggage across the street and through tunnel. But the hotel is beautiful with it's patio seats outside and bar in the lobby. The room is big and breakfast is very good. How I wish they provide slippers and toothbrush/paste, nor coffee maker in the room, or flat iron. We asked for flat iron, but 20 minutes passed and we have to leave already, still no flat iron.

Overall it is a good hotel, close to the city centre, but it’s very noise being close to the street and all the cars and motorcycles can be heard.
The parking is very small and it requires to leave the keys to the valet so it can be moved around whenever is necessary. Also the parking pricing varies depending on the car size. It starts from 24€ for the subcompact cars.
Inside the room, I found the mattress and pillows too hard.
Other than that, the breakfast is great. I think this hotel had the best breakfast in Italy during my vacation.

Wanted a base near the train station which is a little over 5mins walk.

Read some reviews saying rooms were dated but ours was in good condition. Like the impressive reception and bar area.

Good breakfast choices - scrambled egg, sausages and (wafer thin) bacon along what usual meats, cheeses and bread.

Gym was adequate for a hotel with what seemed fairly new equipment.
