Nice property but I do not think it lives up to the badge of 4*. Rooms were very clean and staff were lovely - but the facilities were quite dated and so were the rooms.

The area isnt great - very limited dining options but it's very easy to get into Verona by bus - not so much late at night though and taxis we found hard to come by.

Generally we think it's good value so worth the slight distance but not what I would describe as a 4* property

Relaxing stay.

The hotel as we knew is a distance from the city centre but we love to walk so didn’t mind. There’s a bus stop right in front,e-bikes all around and they can call a taxi for you as well. The hotel is clean and spacious with a little outdoor patio where you can buy a drink from the bar and sit if you’d like. The lobby has lots of sitting areas as well and the staff are kind and helpful. The room was very big with a king bed, desk and a large bathroom with all the toilet Erie’s you made need. They offer breakfast at 10 euros which we didn’t try. Two gorcery stores right T the corner and some restaurants lose by if you don’t want to always go into the centre.

The property is 2 km away from the nearest bus stop, quite a walk if you want to take the bus. Taxi fare from the hotel to Verona Arean is 10 euros which isn't bad. The property is clean and the breakfast buffet includes eggs and bacons, which isn't standard in Italy based on the other Hotels we stayed at

I’m giving this place a bad review because of the dinning staff attitude. The place was okay in cleanliness and the rooms were standard hotel but if you’re Canadian or any other Nationality that’s isn’t Italian stay away. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable at a hotel till I stayed in Italy, this wasn't the first one. The staff at the dinning room stare at you and watched what you eat the whole time. Specially during breakfast. They are also rude and I would never come back.

Good sized room, comfy large bed, air con worked fine, a bit noisy from outside. The location is not great but its ok overall. 30 mins walk from the train station and town center. A supermarket next to it which is convenient. Receptionists could be more pleasant, they didnt seem too friendly, a bit cold actually. Breakfast was nice, with gluten free bread options. The only thing we didnt like is that the ham had a strange smell, it was probably not kept in proper conditions, it would be good if you could keep it in a cool place, not in open air, uncovered. Overall good stay.

Two nights, awesome hotel. Close to a supermarket. Quite far to get by foot. Either plan with a car or taxi do not relay on busses at all.

Great breakfast, contains plenty of gluten free items.

The hotel was very nice with comfortable rooms. I liked this hotel a lot except for breakfast. The bread was stale, staff at breakfast were not rude rude but were not pleasant either.
Tables not cleared quickly, so you would have to sit somewhere without cutlery and try and get your own.
It seemed like a deliberate ploy to get you out of the breakfast quickly. All other aspects of the hotel were excellent

Hotel is walking distance to Verona sites but the hotel is located in a run-down former industrial section of town. Reasonable sized rooms but they look like they need a good repaint job to make them feel cleaner. Bathroom was reasonably clean. Poor shower water pressure. Beds felt like they were 30 years old and uneven/lumpy. I was glad it was only one night stay.

Located next to a very busy road. Quite dangerous to walk beside when going to catch the bus into town. Very old and dated hotel. Simple toiletries. Breakfast OK. Hotel is a good basic hotel. Staff was friendly, always willing to help. Breakfast was reasonable. Location is just okay. It is outside the city center area of Verona and in busy times it is impossible to get a taxi. It is possible to take a city bus easily - the staff helped us. BUT beware, the buses drop off considerably in the evening - we ended up walking back one night and its a LONG walk.

When I checked in, she wanted to keep my passport and return it to me when I came back downstairs. That was very offputting. Then, when I dropped off my key to check out, I was walking down the street and a woman came running up to me in front of other strangers on the street saying I needed to go back with her because I had not paid for the room. I let her know that it was paid in full through Expedia. She demanded I go back with her. When we got back, she discovered that the room in fact was paid in full. She did not even apologize. No one did.

Crumby neighborhood far from the center. The line up of large garbage bins in front should have served as a warning. Unhelpful staff. Wifi didn't work and had to call hotels.com to get a different room. I'm not sure how they got a four-star rating, but you sure could have fooled me.

The actual room is very small, which is not as shown in the picture. The condition and facility is old and very simple. It is very hard to imagine that as a \"4 star\" hotel. When I was asking about a lot of difference between the actual room and what is advertised in this website. The reception simply told me it is not their problem, go and complain to the website! We had a rental car and the hotel is very accesible from the A4 highway.
In 5 minutes you get to downtown Verona parking.

The breakfast was good but the lady managing the breakfast room was very rude to clients especially those with no Italian and little English. This persons frustrations need to be kept in the kitchen and a friendly smile would be helpful.

“clean hotel but could do with some updates”

We stayed there only for one night but from the very beginning we had mixed feelings. When we arrived and went to the reception to check in, were a bit ignored by the staff, one person was on a phone and another person was chatting with, by the looks of it, a friend, I don't think she was a hotel guest. We were waiting for about 3-4 minutes, when finally the chatty girl moved to do her job when a man (possibly her boss) came out of a room next to the reception. The hotel could do with some updates, decorating, maybe new TVs, we had an old Grundig in our room, it was working but the hotel would be much nice with some modern equipment. Bsthroom was clean but looke wuite old, old hairdryer, old shower. Again, everything was working but it would be so much nicer with moder equipment. We had nice big bed but the throw had some weird stains. There was no kettle and tea tray in the room, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was avarage, but we were still quite happy with that. We were on a 5th floor so the wi-fi signal was very weak and was breaking all the time. There are only about 2-3 english tv channels, so be prepared to be bored if you come to the hotel early in the eavening. There is a fre parking, which was quite convenient. The hotel is only 1 minute walk from bus stop and there are about 3 lines that can take you to the centre. The hotel is ok if you are planning to stay there for one, max 2 nights.

A Nice Neiborhood Hotel In Verona

A bit removed from the older touristy parts of Verona, this hotel provides a good location for those who wish to have a safe, quiet hotel with a neiborhood feel. Breakfast was generous and pleasing, and offered foods to meet all dietary needs. Hotel staff was genuinley helpful, and spoke adequate English for non-Italian speaking tourists.

I found Hotel Fiera to be very pleasant. The staff was most helpful, the rooms cool, clean and comfortable. We had a balcony which was nice. Breakfast was fantastic because not only was the food good, but there was a wonderful variety. Bus connections were in front of the hotel, and for those going to the opera, the hotel provided a shuttle for a small fee. The only drawback was the fact that we did not have good Wi-Fi service in our room and had to come down to the lobby to contact family and friends. I would certainly return.

Although the hotel was not near the city centre, all it takes is 15 minutes walk to the central train station, and if you like to continue walking, another 15 to the city centre. otherwise, right at the front of the hotel you have few bus lines connecting to the city centre and beyond, therefore great transport links.The hotel was very nice, modern and well kept. Room was very comfortable, nice size and nice breakfast included (continental, with great selection of cakes). Staff very attentive. Really enjoyed it for our short stay, and bearing in mind what sky-rocketing prices of other hotel near city centre, this was a great value for money. Just meters away there is a big pizza place where you can buy it per weight, restaurants nearby also have great prices, so definitely you won't have any trouble in getting food at any time.

To get to the city center, we had to take the bus and it was cheap and took about 20 min. On the way back to the hotel, the bus wasn't available (no buses to hotel from 9pmish) so we had to walk back which took about 40 min. Overall, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. Hotel is just off one of the main roads in to town. There are regular bus services to the station and town from just outside. The hotel reception is clean and spacious. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean. There is ample parking outside. The breakfast is good. There are a couple of Pizza restaurants nearby.

Horrible location!

I chose this hotel because on the map it appears close to the train station. That's true, but it's on the opposite side of a huge train yard from the station entrance--a 10 minute taxi ride, or 25 minute walk--and another 25 minutes from the old town. Another negative is that there are no restaurants, even small ones, in the vicinity, essentially forcing one to eat in the hotel dining room (which was OK but wouldn't have been my choice). Probably best suited for people who have their own car, because it does have parking.

I have stayed in this hotel before but was less impressed this time. The weather was really bad so the 15-20 min walk from Verona/Piazza Bra felt very long. It was rainy and cold but still the room had no electric kettle so we had to order hot water via room service or pick up a tiny pot of hot water in the bar every time we wanted a cup of tea (and buy the tea!). On our last night the room safe broke, leaving us without our passports, and the receptionist did not take our concerns very seriously, almost laughing at us when we feared not being able to travel home the next morning.. Having said that the stay was very good, good beds, lovely bathroom and good size room, though we struggled to maintain a good temperature so had to ask for extra blankets for the night but other than that we were comfortable. Due to the weather we had room service dinner 3 nights and the food was amazing and the waitress very nice! the breakfast buffet was -as last time- really good, great variety of food and open until 10.30 so even when we slept in we could still have breakfast! I would definitely go back!

\"Not at this time\" was standard hotel response

When we asked if they could turn on the AC for our 85 degree room, the answer was \"Not at this time\" because only the general manager could authorize it and he was out of the hotel and did not like to be phoned. When we asked if the refrigerator in our room could be fixed, we were again told not at this time. Assistance from the front desk was sparse except for one single African gentleman who would always try his best when he was on duty. Dinner service was extremely slow and entrees were so poor they had to be returned, but our bill was still charged a \"service charge\" which is an automatic tip. During complimentary breakfasts, coffee, juices and food, especially eggs and meats were constantly running out. When staff was requested to bring refills they responded rudely and very slowly.

Being about a 25 min walk from the train station and 40min from the centre of town, this place was further away than we expected. However, it was very clean and tidy. The Internet was a bit annoying as it kept cutting out and timing out in our room and we had to keep asking for new access codes.
