We spent a week in downtown Dublin location. The apartment itself was quite functional with two suprinsgly well sized bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The staff went out of their way to accommodate every need or request. The location was convenient. Overall A great stay.

Did not feel very safe. People were doing drugs out side of the parking garage when we arrived. People could also just walk around the court yard of the entire place and get into each section of the hotel without a key card. I think they need to up safety measures here. Beside that the inside was nice and pretty clean.

Hey - The apartment was very cold when we arrived. It was so cold that we did not get a good night sleep at all. I had to sleep with my two children whom are 8 and 6 years old in the same bed to keep them warm. I appreciate the help on getting us a portable heater but once a place that big it’s left off without heating for so long it’s very hard to heat it up in hours. Even when we woke up the place was still cold. We turned on the heater upon checking in because it was off, but it wasn’t enough to heat up the place. Also, it was very noisy. A lot of people drinking, fighting and talking loudly almost until 5am. I did not sleep at all. I need to mention that the front desk was very helpful and respectful.

The rooms appear to recently remodeled with good amenities and in excellent condition. Secure underground parking is available for a daily fee paid separately.
There are multiple buildings in the facility, which are all accessed through one reception area, which makes access to the rooms less convenient. Being in the city on a main road there was significant noise, that was only partially mitigated by closing the windows.

The property was in an excellent location for tourists to Dublin . The apartments were clean in good condition and comfortable beds and sofas in the lounge. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to cook a meal with everything you needed.

The staff were lovely especially a member called Paul. Otherwise the property and facilities are terrible. I felt unsafe and the room was old and had a terrible smell. At one point the verandah door to our hotel was wide open when we returned after a day out which left us feeling very uneasy. The location while close and convenient was in a scary place. I will not be staying at a Staycity branch ever again.

We enjoyed our stay in Dublin and the 2bedroom apartment we rented was clean and convenient for walking to all of the sights. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the noise. The hotel backs onto a residential apartment complex with a sports court and kids were up until nearly midnight shrieking, setting of fireworks and making so much noise it was very disruptive. We had a room that looked down towards the sports court and I wished we’d had a room on the street side instead. Other than the noise which was no fault of the hotel, it was a good stay.

The room was very clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly. But there was no air conditioning and no fans were provided. I would recommend bringing your own portable fan if staying in the summer months because the open windows do not do much to cool down the rooms in the ever.

Would have liked to given this five stars but couldn’t. This accommodation is what it is and done very well. It seems to rely on a traveler staying a few extra days at a reasonable city price. Not a hostel but also not a full service hotel. If this is what you like this is the place for you. To us it always seemed like everything was a little extra work. The staff is skeletal , the rooms felt like my college dorm room. And getting anywhere else in the facility seemed like a journey. Again if you don’t mind a little extra effort and no extra touches stay here. I think we walked by another stay hotel up the road on our daily journeys it looked like it had a restaurant within it.

Disliked - room location , windows at street level, no privacy unless bedroom blind fully down at all times; convoluted route through courtyard to room. Window adjacent to car park entry, and popular location for loud conversations at 3-4 am on all 3 nights of our stay. Broken towel rail in bathroom, no bath plug for bath, no hairdryer in room.

Although under renovations and slightly confusing reception thru Carpark our room for 3 was perfect. Great location around the corner from the Brazen Head and a short walk to Big Bus Tours stops near Guinness and St Michael’s. Would stay again. Pay for parking on arrival.

I can not say enough how fantastic this accommodation / location / staff were. Property is in need of refurbishment. Carpets bit sticky. Freezer is diabolical. Windows were filthy,Kitchen cabinets wonky delaminating etc there was not enough water for us all to shower therewere only 3 adults, on the plus size the reception staff were brilliant

This is the second time I have stayed at this location and I enjoy it. I travel with my elderly father and want to be close to him, so having an apartment style accomodation is perfect. Check-in and out are always easy. The apartment was clean and having access to the onsight parking garage is always a plus!

We got bumped and moved to another property - they initially told me that there was a maintenance issue but when we got to the other property it was because they overbooked.

It wouldn't be so bad but I had booked and apartment and the other property only had a single bed room. Also no on-site parking.

Very disappointing.

I've stayed here before and it's a good place to stay as it's walkable to the Temple area and around downtown Dublin.

St Augustine Apartments are as advertised - large, clean, and very convenient location for Dublin. Just around the corner from the Brazenhead and a short walk to Guinness factory/storehouse and Temple Bar area. We only stayed a night but the property would be a good base for a multi-night stay. Large kitchen & living room area and large bathroom with separate bedrooms made for an excellent stay for our family of six. On-site parking ($14 a night) within a gated area was another benefit. Desk is always staffed. We would choose it again.

Very close to pubs and shopping. The apartment we had was #44 which was on the first floor and the only one there so it was very quiet so we had no problem sleeping. Our stay was cut short because of the Covid-19 virus. So we didn't get to see everything we wanted to. We would certainly recommend this location.

This was our second time staying at this property. We stayed in the penthouse. It’s perfect for a family of four. Our two kids each had their own room and one for the adults. Two bathrooms and full kitchen and dining room Its large enough for to be comfortable for a week. Its also in a perfect location to be able to walk to citi center, and several attractions such as Guinness storehouse and Jamison whiskey distillery. Would stay here again.

We were unable to get a reply via email from the property to find out how to access the apartment, so had to call, which was annoying. A simple email reply should be easy enough. The apartment was very nice and very clean, however after 2 showers all water in the bathroom ceased to flow and we had to change apartments which was VERY annoying. However, the manager did arrange a free ride to the airport to compensate us. The area in which we stayed was a great location and easy to walk to everything. Overall, we'd recommend this property.

Apartment is in a good location, however that is all.
The apartment has 3 tiny heaters around the rooms, although none of them actually heat the room. The room was freezing cold all through our stay. The first day when we had a shower, the shower would not drain so we had to collect all the water with the towels. After maintenance fixed the drain, they just left us with dripping wet towels and did not even provide us with dry towels. We had to dry them ourselves. You also have to pay extra for laundry detergent if you want to use the washing machine in the apartment..
When we checked out, we asked them to hold onto our bag for 1 hour while we got breakfast around the corner and they lady told us we had to pay for a locker!!! FOR 1 HOUR. The staff member did not listen at all, when I said to her it’s the first time I have ever had to pay a hotel I have paid for to hold my bag for an hour, her reply was just “no worries”. I don’t think she really understood what I said, however she probably shouldn’t be on reception. I would not return to this hotel.

Service was uneven. Some staff were very nice and polite. Others were were not knowledgeable. Some were not able to answer a simple question on the location of th airlink stop.

Our room was not ready for check in at 3pm. And when we did enter in the evening, it was missing the shampoo and we were told it can only be refilled next day when housekeeping was at work. I also found it ridiculous that the room did not provide washing powder, and wanted to charge €2 for it. Unacceptable.

Also I don’t get it that Expedia listed T&C on refundable deposit of 50€ per day but it was not implemented during my stay. Makes me wonder if all the other properties listed with this criteria actually all do not require it.

Best for Vicar St Concerts

If it is solo or friends, the hotel apartment was great. The comfort of the beds were as you expect, slightly hard and the pillows almost slate like but did the job (you wouldnt complain if you been about all day really).

For friends, if you are planning to have a few drinks in the hotel, then dont count on the TV for anything, almost being the size of an old PC monitor from the 90s, but the size of the livingroom was great, plenty of places to sit and socialize!

Check was a bit manic as only 2 staff on & lots of people checking in.
Said I was there for 2 nights they only had booking for 1 from hotels.com, then they asked me to pay- which I had already done so through hotels.com. Room good & spacious although windows & balcony were absolutely filthy.
Next day door cards wouldn’t work so went to reception & as thought they only had us down for 1 night, showed all my documents again,they apologised their error & redid door cards. When entering our room it was clear the maid had been in and thrown a lot of our belongings away, toiletries had gone, paperwork, medication plus other personal items, went to reception to complain, cleaner said she did clean bathroom but all of our items had already gone!! How would she have known if she hadn’t removed them!! Our clothes were still in the bedroom!! I lost over £100 worth of goods, when she realised we were still there the items she had removed should have been retrieved & kept. I asked for a complaint for & to speak to a manager to be told no one was there, so I asked for them to call the police again would not do it wanted her manager to sort it out, I was promised a phone all have still not had 1.
As others have said if u stay here take all your personal possessions with you or they may not be there when you return.
Also DO NOT book through hotels.com they didn’t pass on correct information regarding our stay. Also didn’t enjoy Dublin very scruffy with a lot of homeless around

I stayed at this property from Sep 16 to Sep 21. In the last 2 days the hot water was not working. They tried to fixed it two times, but they could not. They said I would be reward for that, but it never happened.
Besides of that it was alright. The employees are very nice and helpful. The apartment is comfortable and very well located. It has all I need like many pillows, white clean blankets, complete kitchen with plates, glasses, forks, etc. The only hard thing was the freezing water that could not be fixed in many attempts.
