The Harding Hotel is ideally located in a central and convenient part of historic Old Dublin. We are within a 2-3 minute walk from Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral and the vibrant Temple Bar but on a quieter side street – one of Dublin‘s oldest streets.

It is on a busy street, but at night there is little traffic and it was quiet. There is parking close by and they provide a discount when you stay with them. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel lobby connects to Darkey Kelly’s pub (nightly trad Irish music!) and the Copper Alley bistro, both of which are great. The staff was incredibly friendly.
The rooms are a little bit old and out of date, with older furniture. This didn’t matter to me because this was more of a place for us to sleep at night and enjoy Dublin during the day.
Our room’s window opened to the courtyard above the back patio of dark Kelly’s, so sometimes got a little loud at night (not a big deal). When you book, request a room that does not look over the courtyard.
Overall, this was an amazing value and location. I would stay there again.

Walkable to main areas, close to taxis, however make sure your room is not over the bar on a Saturday when the music does not stop until 1.15. My friend asked to change rooms, suspecting this on checking in, but was told the beer garden shut at 10.30 and it would be quiet

It was too expensive for the condition of the property. There was a 1 inch lip on the bathroom floor which was a tripping hazard. The shower had no barrier to the rest of the bathroom so that water would have spilled all over the bathroom floor so I didnt take a shower. The TV didnt work properly and the breakfast was included with some guests but not me. Very disappointing.

Great location for touring and being close to the temple bar area for nightlife. The hotel offers two great alternatives for dining. The cafe for breakfast offers more menu selections than the standard Irish breakfast, which is nice rather than same old buffet every day you see at many hotels. Darkie Kellys, the bar, provides live music daily, which is very entertaining as well good food. This draws people in from around the surrounding area.
The staff were terrific and ensured our comfort during our stay. This hotel has good price to value with extra perks in the cafe and bar. Also notable was a nice room size for a city hotel. An older property with charm yet maintaining a new, fast elevator.

The location near the Tem0le Bar and so close to central Dublin cant be beat. The attached pub, Darky Kelly's is fab, food, drink and staff, and barely audible from the rooms. The property is in an excellent location within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, but just outside the very busy tourist area of the Temple Bar District. The pub, Darkey Kelly’s, that you can access through the hotel was amazing for trad music and solid food. We did not eat at the Bistro, but having two choices on property was nice. The only challenge is arriving by car. The front desk agents were very helpful in getting us sorted with unloading and parking. The staff overall was very friendly and proactive. I would stay here again and recommend it.

We had a great stay at the Harding hotel. It is in a phenomenal location and the hotel itself is very comfortable. We had a slight issue with our air conditioner that was beyond the control of any of the staff members, but we were shocked at how fast and proficiently the issue was resolved. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place near all of the action and within walking distance of most of the major attractions.

Be aware the elevator in the parking garage is out of order for several weeks starting May 14th. Use the Leonardo Hotel entrance which gets you to the fourth floor if you have a lot of luggage. The staff at The Harding Hotel were so lovely and accommodating! The bed was super comfortable, and it is connected to the best pub in Ireland, Darkey Kelly’s that has live Trad music and delicious food. The location is fantastic!

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves again. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Having Darkey Kelley's Pub right next door is a plus ( good food too). Good trad music and a nice place for a night cap. Breakfast while not included can be had in the hotel bistro. It's a very good breakfast and on par with anything served elsewhere. The closeness to various areas of Dublin is a plus. Public transportation is very close and the hotel staff is knowledgeable on the use of public transportation and what Dublin has to offer. The Temple Bar area is a stones throw away if you are inclined. Also close are Guinness Storehouse , Midleton , Trinity College, St Patrick's Cathedral. The Kilmahaim Gaol is a short bus trip away too.

The hotel was perfect for my family. We requested 2 adjacent rooms for the 6 of us which was accommodated easily. The staff gave us amazing recommendations for scenic places to drive and explore just outside of the city, and the hotel was easily walkable to all the main things we wanted to see and do. Our room was on the 3rd floor which overlooked the courtyard of the restaurant attached to the hotel, which got noisy very late even on weeknights, however it didn’t bother us or take away from our experience.
