Back from a few days at the Ruby Molly. It's a great place for a few days break in Dublin, convenient for the city centre but just far enough out for it to be reasonably quiet at night. The rooms have a slightly odd lay out (which you can see in the photos on the hotel page) with the shower cubicle actually in the bedroom. No problem with that. I've been in similar hotels before, but unfortunately if you need to get up to use the bathroom in the night , the toilet light shines through the cubicle lighting up the room. Fine if you're staying on your own, not so great if your partner is a light sleeper. We noticed that the shower had a leak after using it, we reported it to the desk but unfortunately it still remained leaky throughout our stay.
That said, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the place for a stay. The staff are friendly, the location is good and the bed is comfy. What more do you really want for a short break?

The hotel sits on a quiet street, so evenings were peaceful and not too noisy when I stayed during the week. Even though it’s in a calm spot, you can easily walk to Temple Bar, historic landmarks, and lots of shops.

One of the highlights of the hotel is the decor. The space has a really beautiful aesthetic with moody lighting, a cozy library area, and lots of comfortable seating throughout the lobby, where you can relax or meet friends. I also loved the unique touch of renting guitars, a fun and creative detail that fits the hotel’s vibe.

Breakfast is light continental, with sausages and lunch meats, breads, and pastries. What was excellent were the drinks: coffee, juice, and even ginger shots. Another nice feature is their sustainability option. If you won’t be in your room much and can skip daily cleaning, they give you a drink voucher as a reward.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ruby Molly. Everything about it was fantastic.

The location is perfect: very central and close to bars, restaurants, museums, transport links, and all the main sights.

The lobby and bar area are gorgeous — quirky, stylish, and wonderfully comfortable, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to linger.

The hotel itself is modern and well equipped, and every member of staff we met was genuinely lovely, helpful, and friendly.

Breakfast was fabulous, with a wide variety of high‑quality options, including plenty of local produce. A great way to start the day.

All the facilities were spotless. Our room was a good size, very clean, and extremely comfortable, with lovely beds. We especially loved the Marshall speaker — such a brilliant touch.

We honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Ruby Molly is a fantastic hotel, and we would happily stay again. In fact, we’ll be looking for this brand in other cities when we travel. We just loved it.

First and foremost we have travelled the world and were blow away by the treatment from the staff. In particular Valentina… she assisted us with check in and provided tips to make our stay more enjoyable. She checked in and made sure that all was well. Then Kevin, Carlos and Renan helped us plan an amazing itinerary and make sure we had a safe comfortable stay with excellent service. They recommended restaurants and local activities. The hotel itself was immaculate and the breakfast was so fresh and a wide variety of options. We felt like we were a 12 minute walk from everything. Would definitely stay in the location again. A very cool property with everything right there. Thank you for such a great vacation. We will be back

For my purpose, the location of this hotel is very convenient. It is quite new, so everything worked impeccably. The room layout is novel - I loved it, but it may not be for everyone - check the pictures out carefully! The lobby is extremely nice and includes a full bar. I will 100% be back.

Very new, clean. Stuffy room, noisy from nearby construction. No coffee in room. Lights are confusing. Couldn’t turn them off all the way. Noisy neighbors. Close to tourist attractions and express bus to/from airport. Staff is hit and miss. Some are friendly; others seem uninspired. Would not stay here again. On the upside it was fun to see the restoration of the fruit market across from the hotel.

My room was perfect for my solo trip. The closet was large enough to store my checked suitcase and backpack with shelving to help me separate laundry, freeing up additional space in the room itself. The bed was comfortable, which is a must given the amount of walking I did. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the free drink voucher in exchange for limiting linen refresh.

I only have two minor complaints (which I wouldn't really call complaints):
1) there are no phones in the rooms. Although my cell had international service to call and text back home, I was unable to call local numbers. This was only problematic in the evening as I was trying to find restaurants whose kitchen was still open.
2) instead of one duvet, the bed was covered by 2 small duvets/blankets. This was frustrating at night when your midsection eventually became exposed as you toss and turn, pull covers to you, etc.

All in all, highly recommend and would stay here again! The amenities were great, the bus stop was only a 3- minute walk, and it was cheaper than the Temple Bar hotels (while still only a 10- minute walk to the area).

Hotel decor especially in the bar area is gorgeous. It’s modern and clean but also eclectic and cosy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was spotless. Toilet and shower lacked a little privacy being glass walled but just a blip. Overall the stay was fantastic. Great location. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance or reached by tram. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Ruby Molly to anyone visiting Dublin and will definitely be back.

Great Hotel, Great Staff, Great Location.....only downpoints are a double bed and single quilts and no in-room tea and coffee or ironing facilities.

Bar offers a good poured Beamish and a wide selection of cocktails and other drinks as well as bar snacks and pizza.....breakfast offer full continental and a couple of hot items i.e. irish sausage and hash brown; therefore, if you want the full Irish then you would be best looking to the huge array of cafes in the area.

Would definately go back but maybe take my own double quilt instead of using the single ones provided.
