The room needed a little bit of TLC but otherwise was a very nice room, clean and tidy. The staff were very nice, polite and courteous and the breakfast was to die form. I ate so much breakfast I didn't need any lunch. If you asked a member of staff a question they would try their best to answer it and they were full of information of where to go in Dublin.

Reception was extremely accommodating! I left a suitcase behind on accident and they helped me to coordinate a courier service for sending it home. The breakfast was delicious as well. The Celtic Nights is a must-see. It was a major plus to be able to just go upstairs to the hotel after the event late at night. It’s also very centrally located to local buses and the Dublin Express routes.

The rooms were very comfortable, the location was amazing (right in the heart of the city), and the staff was wonderful! They were able to answer all of our questions about routes, transportation, places to see, etc.

We had a great time at the Celtic Nights dinner show downstairs at the same hotel. The food and the entertainment were wonderful- and you couldn't beat the commute!

I would highly recommend staying at the Arlington Hotel O'Connell Bridge anytime you are in Dublin!

Clean and comfortable room in a great location right on the Liffey River. Staff were very nice and helpful.

I did not try the in-house restaurant but loved hearing the live music playing there ever night when I came back. I enjoyed the morning breakfast and the wide range of breads, cold foods, and warm foods it offered.

I did go to Celtic nights that was highly advertised in the hotel and was dissapointed by that, so just be advised to look into its reviews separate from the hotel before deciding.

If I could rate the location of this hotel alone it would certainly be 5 stars. You can literally walk to everything within 5-15 minutes. Temple bar across the bridge and a 5 minute walk. It was incredible. Right in the middle of the hustle and the river right there. However, I would say the hotel staff could be a little more professional (front desk) and friendlier. Smile more at guests and be more welcoming. Also, I would often hear inappropriate conversations whilst waiting in the lobby by the desk staff where the language was inappropriate and they seemed to be hanging out at the front desk ignoring guests as they walked by. A little more decorum and engagement would be a suggestion. Perhaps ask guests how their stay was up on checking out and maybe offer to help them wheel their luggage to the front? I had asked about room service my first night as I was exhausted and they said they just didn’t have sufficient staff to bring dishes up to guests room but I would often see staff loitering around the front desk gossiping about their weekend plans. It wasn’t that they were rude but a bit more training could be required on hotel and customer service management. Otherwise, the Celtic dinner and dance show I booked was incredible and the location really was the main reason I booked. Food at the show was a little underwhelming however.

My husband and I stayed for 9 nights. I can truly say that we loved it. The location was fantastic. Easy to walk to most attractions, dining and transportation. Staff was friendly and so helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast had good options and tasted great. The dinner show they have was fantastic The only complaint I have was the size of the shower. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one that small before. But we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the part of the hotel that was stairs only on 4th floor. Our room had a large black stain all over the carpet. The water didn’t heat quickly for a shower (you are advised to wait 15 minutes), and everyone on staff was super sick and coughing all over.
The worst part is the concierge / front desk advised us to park in a car lot that she said would be open at 6, and it was closed until 8 am! We had to be at airport by 8 am and had to call the emergency car park line and pay 50 Euros to get it out! We should have looked closely at the signs, but also trusted our hotel’s concierge.
The only amazing part of our stay were the wonderful staff in the restaurant who made us an early breakfast to go and actually offered to problem solve our car problem when the concierge did nothing.

They let us check in early which was very convenient. Shane was at front desk most of the time and he was very helpful; calling for taxi, restaurant options, even helping print boarding passes for return flight.
Breakfast had lots of options. They even fried eggs as I requested.
Only negative was that ac had already been switched to heat and I had to open windows and use a fan to cool the room.

The staff are really nice and the hotel is well situated in the heart of Dublin. However, I booked the room for a colleague on a business trip and he was unable to check in as he had to go and do business in Galway for two nights.

When he got back to the hotel on the third night the hotel had cancelled the booking without consulting or contacting me and resold the room even though they charged me for the five nights.

I explained the mix up and the manager was helpful and courteous and told me that had already sold the third night and had no room available. I booked my colleague into another hotel. The manager honoured the last two nights of the booking and informed me that I would get a refund through Hotels for the unused third night.

After no refund I contacted Hotels who were very helpful but informed me that the hotel is not refunding the third night that was unavailable to me even though I paid for it. So in effect the hotel made money twice on the room. It doesn’t bode well for the hotel to be this greedy.

I won’t be using this hotel in the future and I advise you not to either.

Perfect location for shopping, pubs, restaurants and transportation, the food in the attached restaurant is very good. Great live entertainment nightly. Staff very helpful and friendly If your seeking a country side of Ireland grab a train, bus or cab very easy to do.The River Liffey runs directly out front the hotel with ample benches a nice spot to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or just to get away from the hustle bustle.

We arrived early and asked to store our bags till check in. Room was ready so we were allowed to check in early which was good. Room was spacious, perfectly usable. Only issue I had with the room was, there was no large bath towels. Towels were provided but they were just a bit smaller than my preference. No big issue. Shower was fine. Beds comfy and safe in room which was good. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Great location.

Awesome location! Hotel definitely is showing its age a bit and no elevator to my 3rd floor room was a surprise, but having a great bar/pub right downstairs was amazingly convenient. And the full breakfast buffet in the morning was fantastic!
